[Music] now that the second season of the mandalorian is over it's time to point out some of the many easter eggs to be found in its eight chapters this is going to be long so let's just get to it in chapter 9 the marshal the first planet we see is covered in graffiti there are lots of familiar faces and objects hidden in there too many to call out individually we head into some underground fighting ring where two gamoreans are duking it out with vibro axes both the species and the weapons were first seen in return of the jedi but the same way we saw vibroblades actually functioning in the first season of the show this is the first time we're seeing a vibro axe actually activated gore quresh is den's contact he's an abyssin a species first seen in the cantina and a new hope he was also voiced by john leguizamo after being captured and strung up he swears by the gotra to tell mando whatever he wants to know the only gotra i know of is the droid gatra a droid rights group that's been mentioned in several canon stories speaking of droids r5d4 appeared in season 1 of the show but he's back and gets much more attention this time around now in the service of pelly you can better see the mark on his head where his motivator exploded in a new hope his tale in from a certain point of view is about how much he just wants to be useful to someone and i'm glad he finally found that even if pelly is rather mean to him dyn travels to moss pelgo where he meets cobb vanth the marshal the character location and story he tells about buying boba fett's armor off jaws and a sand crawler all come from the aftermath trilogy of books by chuck wendig in the flashback of cobb's tale we see some arabesh text underneath the holographic explosion of the second death star which reads little does luke know that the galactic empire has secretly begun construction on a new armored space station even more powerful than the first dreaded death star that text is from the opening crawl of return of the jedi you can clearly see a metal patch over boba fett's damaged jet pack repairing the hole that was created when han solo whacked the bounty hunter in return of the jedi something similar happens to cobb later in the episode mirroring that same moment vance speeder appears to be made out of a pod racer engine possibly even anakin's it looks very similar to the engines he used in the phantom menace although there are some differences it might be his or it might just be the same or close to the same model he and den run into tuscan raiders and their massives out in a tatooine canyon the massives were first introduced in attack of the clones they've been in a couple episodes of the clone wars since then but this is their first live-action appearance since 2002 we see that the tuscan raiders classic weapon the gaffy stick is actually more of a multi-tool being used to brush the teeth of their banthas as they ride into moss pelgo and later approach the crate dragon cave we see that they do indeed ride single file to hide their numbers as obi-wan pointed out way back in a new hope the tuscan raider who is scolded after dropping an explosive is similar to a scene in jaws after chief brody drops an oxygen tank the krait dragon's final death is also similar to the death of the shark many of the krait dragon's properties and behavior are taken from the star wars wildlife field guide reference book which points out that they can swim through the sand live in isolated canyons and like to eat banthas and even sarlaccs the krait dragon's roar is also similar to the roar obi-wan mimics to scare off the tuscan raiders in a new hope which of course makes sense but it's still very fun to hear the real thing the plan to draw out the crate dragon onto explosives is similar to a sequence in the game knights of the old republic where you do basically the same thing and speaking of kotor the end of that battle leaves you with a rare find a great dragon pearl the tuscan raiders find the same treasure in the episode although the pearl first appeared in the mmo star wars galaxies in chapter 10 the passenger the bounty hunter that briefly takes grogu hostage is the same species as a scavenger who yells at rey in the force awakens peyton reed directed this episode and he's well known for directing the ant-man movies for marvel so it's probably no coincidence that he directs a giant ant in the mos eisley cantina peli beats dr mandible in sabac with idiots array the best possible hand in the game a fact that's been true since 1983 in the story lando calrissian and the mind harp of shahru peli cooks some great dragon meat by using the heat of an engine ronto roasters a restaurant on batu uses the same method of cooking dinn's mission in this episode is to transport frog lady and her unfertilized eggs to the planet trask frog lady actually appeared in season 1 along with dr mandible in the cantina during their trip the razor crest is chased by two x-wing pilots trapper wolf and carson teva trapper was in season one played by dave filoni but now he has a new helmet painted with dave's favorite animal a wolf carson teva is played by paul sun hyung lee of kim's convenience fame i actually started watching that show because of his appearance in the mandalorian and it's hilarious but that's neither here nor there mr lee is actually a huge star wars fan having made several cosplays for himself and he has a great story about getting to try on biggs's helmet during a costume fitting so of course i had to mention that but go find that video it's really touching the ice planet the razer crest crashes on is called maldo-krace according to the arabesh on its terminals it's the same ice planet from the first scenes of the series premiere where den captures the methoral on the planet they are attacked by knobby white spiders they were first created in concept dart for the empire strikes back but were never used similar creatures appeared in star wars rebels but this is the first true appearance of the knobby white spider in chapter 11 the heiress the razor crest's entrance into the planet trask's atmosphere is an homage to ron howard's film apollo 13. bryce dallas howard directed this episode and wanted to pay tribute to her father's work after crashing into the water the razor crest is lifted back onto dry land by an 8080 crane of some sort these vehicles are similar in appearance to the oict walkers briefly seen on corellia in solo a star wars story den pays amman calamari for information using mon calamari currency called flan grief karga paid the mandalorian in that currency way back in the series premiere later den and grogu are both rescued by bokeh tan and two other mandalorians bokutan was an important mandalorian character in two star wars animated series the clone wars and star wars rebels she was voiced by katie sakhoff then and is played by her in live action now during the clone wars bogatan was part of an extremist group known as deathwatch the same group that rescued den as a child as seen in season one they are likely related to the children of the watch the cult-like group that raised din mando joins bogotan and her crew on a mission to hijack an imperial gazante freighter full of weapons those vehicles first appeared in the phantom menace but were used heavily throughout the clone wars and star wars rebels animated series this is its most prominent live-action appearance in order to board the ship they use a computer spike to hack into its systems those devices were first created for star wars gaming in the legends days and were first shown on television in star wars rebels but i believe this is the first time we've seen one used in live action bocatan interrogates the imperial captain about the darksaber as you could probably guess if you don't already know that's the black-bladed lightsaber currently held by moff gideon that weapon is very important to mandalorians and bo katan was the last of her people that we know to have wielded it as seen in star wars rebels in chapter 12 the siege we head back to navarro and we see that aqualish thugs have taken up residence in what used to be the mandalorian forge cara dune shows up to take them all down but the concept dart at the end of the episode shows that she had help from the lava meerkat present in the scene you can see the final aqualish does have burns on his face so i assume that little sequence was shot and then left out of the final cut the mechanic who works on the razor crest that later turns out to be an informant is mimbanese an alien species very briefly seen in solo a star wars story while han is part of the imperial invasion of their home planet minbin in the town you can see a statue dedicated to ig-11 and his sacrifice in the town square i hope there's a similar tribute to kauil somewhere the school has several very nerdy call-outs from the protocol droid teaching students two major trade routes are mentioned the corellian run and the heidi and way coruscant is mentioned as the capital of the republic and chandrila is called out as the current capital of the new republic that planet was the homeworld of mon mothma the leader of the rebel alliance kessel and the maelstrom that surrounds it are also referenced both of which were seen in solo a star wars story when the methoral shows up again he mentions being unable to see out of one of his eyes that's a known side effect of being frozen in carbonite as revealed to us by han solo in return of the jedi the imperial base grief keradine and the methoral attack shares many design similarities to galen erso's installation on the planet edo in rogue one a star wars story the methoral points out an imperial transport that is in quote mint condition that would be valuable on the black market last season i talked about that transport and how it was based on a toy from 1979. i assume the methoralls line is a joke about how one of those toys in mint condition would now be very valuable on ebay unfortunately the transport is no longer in mint condition after the tie fighter chase during the infiltration of the base the crew gets a hold of an imperial officer's code cylinders those have been present in imperial uniforms since a new hope but the star wars rebels episode through imperial eyes was our first look at how they are actually used which lines up with what is shown in this episode the controls to the base's reactor resemble the controls for the death star's tractor beam from a new hope both in look and complete lack of convenience the methoral comments on the lack of a guard rail which is a long-running joke in many star wars parodies but now it's been referenced in universe the team runs into imperial researchers of some kind that wear the kamino and symbol on their patches similar to dr pershing we don't know what they're up to but they seem to be experimenting with force sensitive blood maybe to create the being that will one day be snoke maybe for some other purpose but pershing mentions needing a donor with a high m count or midichlorian count midichlorians were first mentioned in the phantom menace as the microscopic beings that help communicate the will of the force to the jedi a high midichlorian count is a good indicator of strength in the force the end of the episode takes us to moff gideon's arkhaden's class cruiser in a shot that mirrors the introduction to darth vader's star destroyer at the start of a new hope the imperial arquidon's class cruiser was first created for the star wars rebels episode rebel resolve but takes many design cues from the republic version of the ship that first appeared in the clone wars we see several scientists of some kind tending to black armored droids they were the emblem of the imperial department of military research in legends that was the department that created the imperial dark trooper but we'll wait to talk about them in chapter 14. in chapter 13 the jedi we get to see ahsoka tano for the first time in live action she has been a huge part of star wars storytelling since 2008 and her debut in the clone wars as voiced by ashley eckstein composer ludwig gorenson does a fantastic job of weaving ahsoka's theme originally composed by kevin keiner into the mandalorian score she is clothed in what appears to be the same cloak she can be seen wearing at the end of the clone wars series suggesting that this takes place before the epilogue of star wars rebels although the concept art for the episode shows her in a white cloak so who knows and she wields white lightsabers which isn't anything new to fans of star wars rebels but the way she got them was by taking the red lightsabers of an imperial inquisitor and purifying the kyber crystals that powered them of their darkness when the razor crest lands on corvus you can see someone scanning the ship just like we see a rebel pilot do as the millennium falcon approaches yavin iv and a new hope as din walks the streets of calidon you can see a rough looking 8d8 droid stumbling around this model of droid was first seen in the dungeons of jabba's palace in return of the jedi the character wing who becomes the governor of kaladon at the end of the episode is played by wing tau chao he worked as a disney imagineer for 37 years and is an award-winning architect the prisoners stuck outside the magistrate's walls are occasionally electrocuted revealing their skeletons like darth vader or mace windu when they're hit by force lightning the magistrate comments that the jedi are the ancient enemy of mandalore this is history established in the clone wars and star wars rebels most of mandalorian weapons armor and technology was developed to combat the jedi when the mandalorian people first came across them thousands of years prior to the events of the show as din searches the woods for ahsoka an owl-like creature called a convoy can be seen perched on a branch that creature is likely mori a kind of spirit guide bound to ahsoka she is the embodiment of the daughter an immensely powerful force being that gave her life to save ahsoka's the scene of ahsoka meeting grogu just seems like something dave filoni sketched at some point he directed this episode and he's also well known for posting occasional star wars artwork online much of it involving ahsoka when ahsoka speaks of knowing only one other being like grogu yoda's theme can be heard coming in and out of ludwig goranson's score and yaddle isn't an easter egg because she's not referenced in this episode at all but there were ten thousand jedi running around while ahsoka was in the order it's certainly possible that she and yattle never crossed paths also at least in star wars legends yaddle died while ahsoka was still very young when ahsoka refuses to train grogu she says i've seen what such feelings can do to a fully trained jedi knight the best of us she is referring to anakin of course her former jedi master who trained her during the clone wars series and who she learned became darth vader in star wars rebels we learn that the magistrate is named morgan ellsbeth ahsoka says her people were massacred during the clone wars there is currently speculation that she might be a night sister of dathomir a group of people who were coincidentally massacred in an episode of the clone wars titled massacre we know that there are night sister survivors and we also know that there are other clans of witches of dathomir which could explain why she doesn't resemble the witches we met in the animated series ellsbeth is guarded by hk87 droids i have to assume that's a reference to the hk series assassin droids from knights of the old republic specifically hk47 the hk stands for hunter killer and i think it's interesting that they're in an episode alongside michael bean from aliens and terminator because the terminator franchise also has killer robots named hunter killers but focus alex it's difficult but you can see that the hk87 droids have the emblem of the seventh fleet on the sides of their heads the seventh fleet was commanded by none other than grand admiral thrawn and star wars rebels and thrawn gets a name drop from ahsoka calling him elsbeth's master it would appear that they are working to build a new fleet for what purpose we don't know yet thrawn was first introduced as a major villain in the old star wars expanded universe now called star wars legends he was brought into star wars rebels but at the end of the series was transported to who knows where it would appear that somehow he has returned at the end of the episode ahsoka tells den to take grogu to the planet tython and in chapter 14 the tragedy we get to tython right away that planet was the origin of the jedi order back in star wars legends in the new canon the location of the first jedi temple is up for debate octo seemingly the most likely answer but tython is in the running at any rate this temple is very old speaking of octo the seeing stone of tython is kind of similar to the large rock rey and luke used to connect to the force in the last jedi we can see blue butterflies fluttering around the stone that could just be a cute thing for grogu to want to play with or they could be connected with the force blue butterflies appear in the darth vader comic when the sith lord is meditating in the force as a symbol of the potential for good still inside of him the slave 1 shows up the classic ship of boba and jango fett first seen in the empire strikes back where it's been all this time i do not know tamira morrison returned in chapter 9 of the series but now he's finally back for good playing boba fett now instead of jango fett like he did an attack of the clones but boba is a clone of jango so of course he should be played by the same actor boba claims he is a simple man making his way through the galaxy a nod to jango's similar line and attack of the clones he's just a simple man trying to make his way in the universe boba claims the armor he's after was his father's in the clone wars boba used django's helmet to hide a bomb in an attempt to kill mace windu but it's possible he used a different helmet and painted it to match jango's or maybe he just got a new helmet fett says he was once left for dead in the tatooine desert like finnick shand that might be a clue to some of his story after he fell in the sarlacc pit he somehow escaped but was still in need of rescue in legends his rescuer was fellow bounty hunter dengar but i think that's unlikely to still be true when the empire shows up they're in some kind of new troop transport that looks like it's taking some design cues from the first order transport seen in the force awakens this could be showing a transition between the empire and the first order boba fett fights with the tuscan raider gaffy stick a weapon that was inspired by a real world maori weapon tamira morris in his maori and even talked about how some of his real world training wound up being used for the fight choreography in this episode so that's awesome once vette gets his armor back on we see him use his knee cannons for the first time this is something that has always been part of his armor but it was new to me the first time i saw them fire we finally get to see the dark troopers in action so now is the time to talk about them they were first introduced in the 1995 video game dark forces the empire made some experimental battle droids called dark troopers but the factory that constructed them was destroyed by kyle katarn before they could enter widespread production that happened a lot to the empire back in legends their design already inspired the dt sentry droid that was seen in a couple episodes of star wars rebels and now the chain continues because the dt sentry design has very clearly inspired the new dark trooper as seen in the mandalorian when boba fett sees gideon's cruiser he tells finnick he's not having a spice dream spice is a sometimes medicinal and sometimes recreational drug in the star wars universe back on the ground fett shows den his chain code which is written in mandoa the mandalorian language the two most important parts of the translation include a mention of concord dawn and jaster muriel concord dawn is jango fett's homeworld which is located in mandalorian space what's left of it appeared in the star wars rebels episode the protector of concord dawn jaster muriel was initially written to be the true name for boba fett in the legends book tales of the bounty hunters after attack of the clones clearly negated that jaster muriel was changed into a character that adopted jango fett after his family was killed and then raised him as a mandalorian like a foundling on navarro cara dune looks up a lot of names in the new republic database and oh boy here we go this was a lot of arbesh to translate but the profiles have some very fun easter eggs vorg alsom is serving a five-year sentence on the delerian prison planet for stealing a speeder skirto tobbs is serving a 45-year sentence in the carthon chop fields for transport of class 4 contraband his costume looks similar to the red key raiders who fought against cobb vanth tor bill danson is interesting he's serving a 25 year sentence in sunspot prison for the attempted kidnapping of a senator first that's interesting because another mugshot later of a tusken raider has the exact same name and details i wonder if they just ran out of profiles and reused one which is fine because only crazy people go to this much effort to find out what every single profile says but sunspot prison first appeared in the star wars comics as a secret rebel jail that very closely orbited a star it wound up being destroyed but i guess the new republic rebuilt it nylock's cabin roves was also put in sunspot prison his sentence was for 20 years for the forgery of new republic credits pretz rulato is serving a 50-year sentence on clack door 5 for manslaughter and industrial negligence gap grin dizito is serving a 25 year sentence on cell nesh for attempted ship jacking in legends selnesh was an imperial prison planet also i love the name gap grin it's like the classic star wars way of just naming aliens based on how they look walrus man hammerhead and so on byran redbin is serving a 50-year sentence on tamazol for medical malpractice that one was mentioned as a new republic prison planet back in legends 2. also byron looks a lot like one of the ambushers from chapter 10 so does gapgren maybe they both survived that encounter and were arrested avrak kofundi is serving a 25-year sentence on wobani for aggravated assault of a new republic officer waubani was first seen as an imperial labor camp in rogue one where jyn is picked up by rebel operatives maduello dye is serving 30 years on tamazol for space piracy his last name could relate him to rin rivendy he was also a nicto and was a crime lord that appears in the book bloodline by claudia gray which takes place about 20 years after the mandalorian ghostlafoular is serving a 30-year sentence also in sunspot prison for forgery of local currency theme cross is serving 30 years on uvo 4 for grand theft starship and resisting arrest uvo iv appeared in the legends video game bounty hunter which is all about jango fett and was home to a prison called desolation alley it also happens to be where the slave 1 first came into boba fett's possession but again that's all in legends yathan diddy is serving a 40-year sentence on vero johnson for attempted murder and resisting arrest verujonsi was the homeworld of two famous rebel pilots garvin drace from a new hope and antoc merrick from rogue one sartre julos is serving 25 years on selnesh for ship jacking unga toba is serving 25 years on lola sayu for unlawful computer access lola saiyu was a planet in the clone wars and was home to the citadel a prison created to hold jedi i guess the new republic converted it into a regular prison but knowing what that place is like it seems a little extreme to be locked up there for unlawful computer access sethro daggery is serving a 70 year sentence on megalok's beta for murder and extortion see that seems like someone who should maybe go to the citadel but megalox is no spa day either it first appeared in the poe dameron comics the planet had very high gravity and was inhospitable except for a zone that was covered in an energy field that was the prison and if prisoners got rowdy they could simply turn gravity back up to max to forcibly calm them down borbin todds is serving 25 years on jubilar for harboring a wanted fugitive jubilar was another penal colony from star wars legends and first appeared in boba fett's story and tales of the bounty hunters the same story that originally named him as jaster muriel cardo dives is also on wobani serving a 35-year sentence for the assault of a new republic officer charga lo is serving a 15-year sentence on garen iv for aggravated assault garan 4 is yet another legends location and a side of an imperial penal colony and finally we get to miggs mayfield cara dune states everything that's in his file but it translates to current sentence 50 years at the carathon chop fields offenses facilitating the escape of a prisoner accessory to the death of a new republic officer thank the force were through all that but some of those prison call outs were very fun to find and speaking of prisons i want to talk about grogu's tiny shackles people have been asking why the empire even has shackles for babies the answer is they don't they have shackles for tiny beings maybe an anzelen like babufrik or zilkin like meeber gascon anyway let's move on to chapter 15 the believer above the karthon chop fields we can see the same model of new republic prison ship that appeared back in chapter 6 the prisoner there's another version of the atat style crane that we have seen in both chapter 11 and in solo a star wars story phil tippett recently tweeted out that they created these cranes using stop motion which i think is very cool the chop fields themselves are kind of similar to broncha from star wars jedi fallen order a place to break down the technology of the previous government inside the slave 1 we get to see that the interior rotates to match the planet's gravity as the ship itself rotates and that's a really cool detail you can also see boba fett's old damaged jet pack sitting next to mayfield it looks like he had a spare one in the ship along with all that matte finish paint on morak as the crew debates who will infiltrate the refinery with mayfield finnick shand says she is known by the isb maybe we'll see exactly why in her upcoming appearance in the bad batch boba fett points out that the empire would likely know his face which is just the best such a good way to say uh i'm a clone without being completely obvious the juggernaut den and mayfield commandeer shares some design influences with the clone turbo tank from the clone wars era they're shipping rhidonium a type of highly explosive fuel that first appeared in the d-squad arc of the clone wars series and then again in star wars rebels rydonium containers are sometimes marked with an emblem and that very emblem is stamped on the side of the juggernaut the helmets they use as disguises are very similar to the helmets of other tank and walker pilots first seen in rogue one and the chest plate matches the same style of armor made popular by general viirs in the empire strikes back viirs watch that one was for you the arbesh on the terminal and the refinery reads id scan required access granted the menu screen says database equipment personnel transport armory s forces and the map is labeled sec and light speed cruiser mayfield tells valen hesse that den is hard of hearing because of the battle of tainab which is such a surprising pronunciation of tanab that i almost missed it but that's the battle where lando claims to have pulled off a little maneuver in return of the jedi mayfield then tries to leave the conversation by saying they need to fill out their tps reports which is likely a joke to the 1999 comedy office space outside finnick and kara spy on the refinery's rooftop noting the anti-airguns manned by imperial gunners wearing the same armor first seen on the death star in a new hope back inside mayfield suggests a toast to operation cinder this was introduced in the comic series shattered empire and has since returned in many star wars stories it was basically the emperor's plan for after his death massive and cruel attacks on worlds across the galaxy like naboo vardos and vernon khan mayfield was present for the attack on vernon khan an event that has left him mentally scarred burn khan was a minor planet in legends and was included in the star wars mobile game uprising as well as several comics mayfield uses boba fett's cycler rifle to destroy the rhidonium they delivered they were often used by tuscan raiders and are distinct in star wars for being a weapon that fired actual solid projectiles instead of blaster bolts during their escape boba fett drops a seismic charge on two tie fighters that weapon first appeared in attack of the clones and every nerd has been eagerly waiting to see them again in the final scene den threatens maf gideon by using almost exactly the same words gideon used against him in the season 1 finale redemption in chapter 16 the rescue the opening scene has a chase between the slave one and a lambda-class imperial shuttle these are well-known ships but i think this is its first appearance in the series we see imperial pilots without their helmets piloting the ship they look like imperial pilots and other non-live-action star wars media like star wars rebels also this could be a clue that the empire is running low on personnel in return of the jedi we see these shuttles piloted by different officers so maybe tie pilots are having to pull double duty the angrier pilot calls cara doon a dropper which is a reference to her role in the rebel alliance he also notes that her rebel insignia teardrop tattoo is in remembrance of alderaan pershing is referred to as a clone engineer further connecting him to the planet kamino and the patch on his shoulder i don't know exactly what that job title involves but with his and gideon's capture this season we could find out soon as din and boba fett travel to pick up bokutan and koska reeves we can see their mandalorian gauntlet starfighter which was first seen in the clone wars there's a menu inside the cantina with a boatload of star wars food mentioned including kadu ribs melu run gornt roasted seedy roasted nuna haroun bread gala stew lambta arisa indorian tipip shak kabob jorgen and tapato kushnip with frall yoba shrimp polystarch space waffles and veg meat a lot of these are food options at galaxy's edge poly starch and veg meat are what rey's portions are made of in the force awakens and space waffles first appeared in star wars rebels but all of these foods are referenced in star wars somewhere bokutan makes a couple references to boba fett being a clone such as him having a donor and having heard his name a thousand times as our heroes plan grogu's escape you can see that kara shot off part of dr pershing's ear he mentions that the dark troopers are a third generation design in legends there were three phases of dark troopers as well but in the game dark forces the third iteration was the only one that allowed a human to wear the suit as an exoskeleton and in the show it seems that it's the only one that is purely a droid the arabesh on the status bars for the dark troopers reads dt for dark trooper i assume den is nearly spotted by an ra-7 protocol droid also nicknamed a death star droid this model was first seen in a new hope moff gideon gets into some of the darksaber's history as a weapon and status symbol that was first established in the star wars rebels episode trials of the darksaber gideon goes on to say that it may only be won through combat people have pointed out that this goes against the fact that boca tan once accepted the darksaber as a gift and i'm not really talking easter eggs here but i am sure dave filoni knows what he's doing there will be an explanation for her choice to not accept it now this one is hard to catch but this man with the green lightsaber is luke skywalker from the films a new hope the empire strikes back return of the jedi the force awakens the last jedi and the rise of skywalker and his little droid companion is from okay never mind this joke has run its course r2d2 is in more star wars than he isn't and now we get into the post-credits scene with bib fortuna he can be seen holding a staff that came with his action figure back in the 1980s he is played by matthew wood who provided voices for the battle droids and general grievous in the prequels and the clone wars you can also see another familiar face from jabba's court ristol sant the thelin singer from the special edition of return of the jedi as bib is barking out orders he yells the word mcclunky a word that quickly gained notoriety when it was added to a new hope when it came out on disney plus for seemingly no reason it was originally added to be part of the 3d re-release of a new hope that ultimately never happened so it was something that george lucas wanted to add and finally as boba fett sits down on the throne of jabba's palace you can see that it's adorned with rancor heads which is a cool detail but the chair itself is inscribed with ercat an ancient runic language i did my best to translate what it says and it looks like it's one phrase repeated and mirrored on two rows and i think it says boba fett it definitely says boba and then there aren't matches for the next two characters but it ends off with two t runes so i assume that's what they're going for i don't think it's supposed to mean anything it's just a fun visual detail for those of us willing to figure it out maybe someone who knows more about these runes than i do can correct me down the line but that's it for today that's everything i caught while watching this season i'm sure i missed some things so let me know down in the comments if you found any cool details
