I slid into t fus DM I saw you got a custom keyboard if you want something more luxurious oh shoot keith was here what the heck's oh crap t3 uh all right it is time 2020s been off to a crazy start right guys mmm we had dixie mech and solvin getting featured any pics keyboards getting featured on - tech tips this week and here I am building for four key foods I don't know how many of you guys here are new is this your first time watching my stream right now I don't know how many of you guys are new viewers or if you guys are returning viewers no okay you guys are all hard trolling now yeah tifu ended up following me a couple months ago last year I slid into t fus DM I noticed you got a custom keyboard so I said hey I saw you got a custom keyboard but if you want something more luxurious let me know and I guess started talking from there we start the key cult to help me work on this project and after many months we finally have the finished product so here is the unboxing art alright so for those of you guys who are you this is a keyboard case as my logo meant only for the nicest of keyboards alright this here is where the PCB is so this is a commission which means it's expensive it's also made with stainless steel it's polished stainless steel to be correct so I will put on my gloves did I put this glove on the room why does this feel so [Music] I did put it on wrong so I think pictures were already leaked by Costco stick customs anodizing we did work with them on this look at this you guys like this obviously t food he's a fortnight player never heard of the game fortnight but it looks like fortnight uses a lot of blue purple pinkish kind of color scheme that's what we went for with this board so the top and bottom made out of aluminum it's got P Foods name engraved there the plate is also aluminum and then it's got a polished stainless steel mid piece look at the key Colts logo shining and that bright blue this is definitely probably the most exotic anodizing we've ever done this is all anodization this isn't like a paint job this isn't a coating this is aluminum anodized to be this color of course the bottom weight here also stainless steel I got some finger marks already because I was inspecting it beforehand but look at that you can see my top-down camera it's polished alright so let's take a wing of this so it is a 60% thief who surprisingly likes 60 percents you guys probably thought he was shilling the ducky one too many even though he didn't like 60% but he does like 60% so fully unbuilt without the PCB this is 1,400 48 grams or for us us folks it weighs in at 3 pounds 3.1 ounces so respectable weight it's not super heavy it is just aluminum most of the weight comes from this stainless steel mid piece that you guys are seen chief who obviously games streams quite a bit we were considering going for 7 or 8 degrees but we ended up going with a 6 degree type angle just to help out his wrist we don't want them to develop RSI or carpal tunnel from using this keyboard so we didn't take that into consideration as you guys can see the internals it's unfinished when we kind it's kind of intentional it's kind of like that steel deal thing whatever thing you can build up on fortnight right you can like hash down materials and then build a fort it's kind of reminiscent of that the colors readiness is a fortnight hopefully and for the switches we are using novelty cream switches so if you guys want to be a pro gamer like tee food it's not speed switches speed switches are in fact not that speedy you gotta go with the novel Keys creams which is blue all right this is what number one streamer of 2019 is going to be using this keyboard employs a technology called gasket mounting what you cannot find on any pre-built keyboard you can buy off the shelf and it's gonna have a different typing feel as well as a sound signature from keyboards like duck you want too many these are strips of poor on here and this is what makes a gasket mounted it's got the Kiko logo alongside with mine key called number 160 tee food designed in Raleigh North Carolina if you guys are into electronics this is what the PCB looks like so we are going to be building this up we're gonna be soldering it it already has all the diodes and I'm circuitry done all I need to do is solder this through-hole switches and install the stabilizers but look at this this PCB is at least a sexy a on its own so yeah just to explain what I am doing right now I'm going across the PCB and I am essentially closing the loop between the switch when you click a switch this is essentially what's happening there are gold contacts within the switch and they touch when you actually and it completes the circuit you can also do the same by using something conductive so the Lubar I'm currently using to loop these tabs it is a loop called krytox 2:05 grade zero you can purchase this from one of my sponsors switch bought net slash tat types so once you have Lube the stabilizer housings you also want to lube the wire itself the wire is the biggest part biggest culprit of rattling noises in your keyboard so I'm applying this loop here this is going to help minimize all that rattle alright so we have installed stabilizers now what we need to do take the switches these are what novel key screams look like they are a linear switch I think they have a bottom out force of around 67 grams not too heavy and you want to check to make sure that you lubed the stabilizers enough so we're gonna put switches around the stabilizers we just installed oh no no no mas eu sake pretty girl clears up playing can be [Music] is this what $3,000 sounds like pure cream 'yes so you guys hear a no rattle right there's no wire rattling around there's none of that plasticky noisy here nice so no rattle or / not / no rattle or you just get the pure nice what about this keyboard makes it three grand well a lot of things one of them being the materials used the keyboard is made entirely the case is made entirely out of aluminum and stainless steel stainless steel was expensive to purchase as well as machine that adds to it I don't think there's any off-the-shelf keyboard out there that has large amounts of stainless steel in the case the parts used are extremely high-quality we're gonna be putting a gmk key cap set on this the GM key key cap sets just to generalise you'll be paying around $150 or so for the key cap sets gmk probably the highest quality abs key caps you can get on the market the switches alone novel key creams I think retail for 70 cents a switch 65 cents per switch I believe so just on switches alone we spent close to a little under a hundred for just two switches I think but of course the paint for the design that goes into this the manufacturing the fact that you're building a one-off there is no other keyboard like this out there in the world everything here is entirely custom we made this just for tea food no other company does other than key cult currently this finish alone cost quite a bit the anodization that we got for this board costs more than any pre-built keyboard you can purchase obviously if we made 10,000 of these t fou boards it might have been cheaper but you're also paying for the exclusivity of it my build service alone for a 60% is $100 you also have to pay for the stabilizers those are pretty marginal relative to everything else but that's what makes this expensive so once you finish soldering the next thing you should do you should check for straightness of the modifier keys all right so we need to check caps lock for straightness caps lock looks straight left shift looks strict bottom row looks straight nice this is fully programmable we can show off a via programming after this those keyboard works you guys ready to see this gasket mounted technology my passion was so interesting okay so yeah the posts they help you guide where to place the plates so you won't have to do a bunch of lining hopefully and we put this top piece like so [Music] let's compress it a little bit I think that's good to top this off this is the keyboard the key caps that we're using a striker so this is a gmk tea cup set I believe the retail price of this was around a hundred hundred fish - John it's all blue with different shades of these those teeth will watch enemy you guys know if thief who watches anime would he care for these Japanese sub legends this is going a lot better than I thought the final step of this will clear my desk a little bit boom here we have TVs $3,500 keyboard look at this all the keys straight actually clipped into the plate soldered side profile does this yell fortnight or no I don't know gotta get the YouTube T foo say hello to YouTube chat whoa alright this is the back look at this you can see my Twitter feed sure look at this finish guys it's fully built its keyboard weighs three pounds twelve point eight ounces so a little shy of four pounds and 1726 grams this is the typing test of T Fu's multi-thousand dollar keyboard obviously there's too many eyes Oh 1:39 all right I'll take that 139 does your spacebar sound this good I will bet your spacebar probably Honda wire around all right I'm gonna bring out the razor Huntsman tournament edition this here is a stock razor keyboard you can sound difference Oh shooty Fu's here what the heck oh crap tea food we just finished I'm doing a sound comparison I can give you a typing test demonstration if you want but I'm just comparing it to a razor Huntsman tour Edition that you can purchase right now I'm just kidding should I lick pee fees board before I send it to but you can't still put a 60% in here pretty fine and I shouldn't get damaged up throw them a business card give him a sticker and this is the final product we are sending over he can put his name card here if he wants if he ever takes this tool and parties handle boom now to focus flex even more against other four night players once again thank you to tea food by the way as well for giving me the opportunity thank you to ki cult and novel keys and zombie Mon for helping with these parts until Tuesday see you nerds [Music]
