The Legend of Genji Just got CANCELLED :(

well guys I have some really sad news for you today this is definitely not a video I wanted to make and I'm sure you guys are going to be very disappointed to hear this but the time has finally come and the legend of Genji Series has officially been canceled so hit that subscribe button and leave a like for more awesome Avatar content and let's break down this tragic news so some of you guys are probably wondering where my videos on the legend of Genji were well sadly there was just nothing to cover the series came to an end and the team went pretty much silent zero updates on the comic or the animated videos and nobody knew what was going on well we finally now know what happened with the news of the new Earth Avatar series coming out in 2025 set after Korra the team has given up now I'm not sure if the decision to quit the series is directly related to that news but the timing matches up so maybe that was the final straw I'm not sure but I will read to you their statement on the end of the series and what comes next for the legend of Genji the statement goes a message from the team for four years the Genji team has worked hard to dream up a new Avatar story where are proud to have played a small role in keeping the fandom entertained while the Avatar creators took a break from the franchise with so much exciting new Avatar content around the corner including a new Earth Avatar series we're ready to take a step back and focus on our own careers families and original Works our team members are starting families pursuing higher education and otherwise making exciting strides in their career Genji's success opened up so many doors for us and we can't thank you enough for the part you played in our growth and creative development we don't have the words to express the immense gratitude we feel towards the community thank you from the bottom of our hearts the legend of Genji comic project is officially ending we're excited to start our new adventures and make way for the new official Earth Avatar over the coming weeks we will continue to post concept art and unreleased content to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our writers and artists from there we can't wait to watch the next chapter of the Avatar Universe unfold with you I don't know about you guys but I'm really sad to hear this I felt so much ambition and Hope from the team and to see it come to an end like this is just sad I don't know if the team got burnt doubt or just lost their passion for the story but there it is that is the end of the legend of Genji what do you guys think about this news I'm hoping that in some way the story of Genji can be adapted into the Earth Avatar series obviously not directly but a few nice nods to the sandbenders would be great so there we have it the end of the legend of Genji thanks so much for watching guys hit that subscribe button and leave a like and I will see you in the next video not a note that any of us wanted to end on if you made it this far in the video thank you so much and drop a thank Mr Genji in the comments down below just to commemorate this series
