here feel good yeah it's a better week how was everyone's weekend give me the deets good man cool Josh yeah yeah watch the game yeah yeah we super-bold yeah I did one of the most entertaining Super Bowls in the last few years I think you boycotting football in the last few years well from what I've seen I think the last Super Bowl I watched was the Patriots Falcao that was really entertaining so what's the Eagles Patriots couple years ago that's a good game yeah it was it's the best in the last two years definitely I honestly only watch this cuz me and Joe had a bit just only well I would let us know salut we all want you're one of those of the fans one yeah we all wife and we'll fans one because I picked the Niners to win but I was rootin for the black quarterback I was rooting for the Chiefs even though my whole living room was so I was trolling any time the Niners did some good and that made it for a great three quarters oh yeah it was great for San Fran for three hey when my home's was doing all this on my home like [ __ ] yeah oh man did I have a blast with my living room he looked a little nervous there for three quarters yeah I didn't know what was going on moans I didn't think that would last very long ago no and they didn't yeah uh but the night should have won that game yeah it was there's the win yeah the night I should have won that game so I want to Rin the football a little bit I mean my homes especially though when when they were up by ten and they'd kept running out first down and throwing flash and then second down and then throwing third down every time yeah they stopped running the football yeah I could imagine the running backs being angry at that yeah homeboy just ran for a billion yards and the NFC title title games if I'm great kiddo I'm snuffing I'm snuffing kings in the locker room I'm sorry Garoppolo got to see me outside take ticket and cleats know he really had the greatest last Drive it was opening in this is not a sports podcast but but I saw a great queue to open a lot yeah it's like a lot and a gorge wouldn't I mean yeah Kerry Kerry Kittles yeah Kerry Coons got the ball he should have got Sanders the ball in that bomb doubt ended the game right there yeah but he's not Kirk Cousins true or can or Kerry Kittles that's true too I enjoyed the game congratulations to Andy Reid yeah I'm happy you got once the fan base I'm really I'm really happy you got one man it wasn't you was until he won that I started just thinking about you know Andy Reid lost his kid it's been quite a journey for 19 years without winning one getting near one so it's just been a long road for that Gilly what's up for us yeah I thought the Eagles went twice not with him okay yeah and he seems to be a coach that a lot of players love well yeah they you've ever played for Andy Reid like I don't see players talking bad about him so that's a good thing don't like to see coaches like that one man mahomes winning the Super Bowl MVP and is he the first black quarterback to win Super Bowl MVP why don't we toss it to our stat section hey hey all you guys in the kitchen anyone would've owned Google what Marx is saying there's Wi-Fi in any case it's still a big deal so congratulations to him huh Doug Williams don't get my dad started with Doug Williams the comedian no um who did you guys watch it with frame and Ian and RAM and Brian and Julia and the whole squad over their studio party he watched the Super Bowl with the legendary and iconic DJ Premier yeah no that's pretty cool got some nice TVs over there where's his rank on this list again sparks been no more shot out to Viacom is probably an industry thing I could probably last time I shot with Viacom Parkes was in that scene yeah one a one B yeah a shot to me and more holding it down the real real fast I was doing I didn't even tell the guys that you guys were here and y'all are telling me I did the intro you did you got Mallis here I didn't do that no you don't have that one more let's here I have to introduce you guys cuz that signifies the start of the show okay all this year parks is here Rory is here Erikson is here save on the dawn has blessed us with his presence oh yeah I'm sorry I'm straight from the save on pull up series shocked that you could s in your schedule yes this craziness Alexander the satisfactory is over there and remnants here and well I've already heard how you guys are doing it's like upgrading Blake's solid I'm solid Usami man I [ __ ] scream man he's been ah he's been doing pretty good he's gonna he's gonna need our support after save on his branched off from the need to know he started his own to leave you oh he's branching off too much y'all got to keep it down on even mentioning to God how he's positioning himself I mean positioning himself speaking of creating wiggle room you guys speaking of things wiggling ready to pot listen quality control over the weekend through their second annual stripper Bowl a phenomenal name by the way whether annual stripper pole stripper bowl is just a really good name for a stripper event during the Superbowl oh yeah shot I mean I like dogs but is that the name of that thing does the dog exhibition become a Puppy Bowl it strippers gotta mow some of those dogs are beautiful of course um Quality Control partnered with a venue I don't know the venue because I'm not from Miami it looks like a really dope they look like a dome that's fire yeah they put the visuals on the top and all that [ __ ] it looked good who else is gonna press the hard topics here yeah they add [ __ ] pictures on the ceiling they look yeah it was it looked like a five honey almond apron may promote it a stripper bowl second year in a row they did this last year they had a few problems with strippers claiming they did not get paid initiated look like you would expect all of their famous friends to be there throwing money in the sky and strippers come from all over America to take part in this and I'm still trying to figure out why I was a little offended that you weren't invited since you incapable dead a job 'if you love strippers so like I was yeah I was a little offended I can't lie I was offended that you were not there yeah I don't love strippers like I do I know I know my bartenders like my reputation the bartender the horses bartenders yeah I love cranberry pineapple and orange juice blended yeah and the bartenders and servers definitely make the best cranberry orange and pineapple juice I only don't understand why the stripper Bowl is so big because there's been discrepancies and how the money is divvied out and here we are again I think the venue made the girl sign contracts that say you cannot pick money up off of the floor and I'm sure some of those heathens we're picking money up off of the floor don't call them he the details that come that are coming out and aftermath are such as they had to wait like seven eight hours for the money to be counted up mm I mean that many ones don't there are pictures floating around of the strippers falling asleep while waiting there's another video about a stripper fighting for the money for the money in her coach bag from four different security guards there are just some disturbing videos with boys to men end of the road and I feel like I know enough strippers - where's I should understand why this happens like like this mmm you don't even have to know strippers to know why this happened like this it just wasn't it wasn't organized wait a minute yeah tell me the quality wasn't controlled obviously not drum roll please that's pretty good that's pretty good yeah [Music] when it comes to the payout as far as how many dances you're gonna allow to dance windows which are difficult to split which piece says which piece says he had no involvement in mall but that's what I'm saying no involvement in it but it's your brand its quality yeah you gotta have you gonna have to have Sciences hey you know I mean like you may not have no control of how many dancers were allowed in the building and the venue but when things go wrong you're gonna be looked at with some answers dreamville sessions they said I like a flyer with with switched rivers yeah I don't with strippers but that's that's the point I don't know how they did it how they hide these women but it obviously wasn't organized well Annie you're adding in a bunch of people that are also there just to party and not to throw money moment organization from the strippers the strippers should I say yeah organization business transaction and you're saying we're throwing over half a million dollars leave or do I once to be with darker secret is all we ever paying for them to stick their ass no we mean you're not really there no that's not at a point you think I'm going to stripper ball and I ain't trying trying to [ __ ] it's a little tough though when you gotta wait seven hours to get your money like if I'd be asleep in the hotel by they they they're to get paid I mean anything after they get paid is like okay cool but the women I didn't get paid listen and that's why I empathize with them I empathize with them as the guy that has dated bartenders and tried to link after their shift it's uh sonic trying to stay away until the count-out is finished it's not something that it's the worst I would miss for them I wouldn't if you land I would never do that in Miami number one and number two Joe has been trying to open up dialogue for years and years now only to be shunned by the masses you were shunned by the masses yo okay no dude some more rows up with you I ate on my lingo no I thought it was good I have been shunned by the masses when I tried to open dialogue about the different levels of holes okay window I wonder how to open this dialog we can open it when did the podcast start yes well come on tell us more we're not shutting you I don't like this a space now hold it gotta go out to Miami to the stripper wall like well no it's not do you got to understand women know that there's a this is a big event all the dancers knew there's gonna be at least a million dollars thrown like what all of these people in the builds between how many people and that actually mats comes in eight sort of to the regular people listening to this podcast they have no idea the stripper [ __ ] works when you're a dancer you got a end dancers who unite and fight this like if I'm coming to shake ass why do I have to pay to paying mmm well that goes back to the splits which is 350 and this is back to my conversation about the different level of whole fam I don't want the whole that can't afford the 350 pan nor do I think this terrible wants them no but it's not that all it's once it starts is probably what 250 for the night and that's a big issue for women yeah yeah probably 250 for the night I don't assess it's in Oakland I want the girl that's having a hard time with the 250 you don't have enough customers to come and take care of this 250 for the night if that's not profitable enough for you nah and and that's what that those are the stories it always come from strippable is horrible like they defeated the girls the girls waiting on the money Danny look like the ice it's the Trump hole and detaining kids videos well what was that what was the actual issue that that was happening they didn't get paid what they thought they deserved yes they weren't paid what they thought they deserved in a timely fashion I so who got money 550 points I'm fighting for the ones who got the money it wasn't organized mean who got it that's a great idea they just have to we're gonna get into the thick of y'all in your Pope Pope got a dude Plouffe took all the strippers publishing oh well now who gets the money cuz I'm sure I saw cardi get on a video and say she threw 50 - man 250 K through 150 break it down for us Queen Queen cause let me tell you something how everything goes right QC partners up with promoters not partner no well they get from they partner up with a with a a event you know and what he's gonna team up with someone yeah you see there is a connect so we don't really have too much control quality can't control the quality we don't know how the money is gonna guess play [ __ ] ain't really [ __ ] thinking about that [ __ ] just going over there to throw the [ __ ] money the strippable they chant we trying to make it for a tradition I personally I mean off sessemann then she gets into how much money every once again okay she was suggesting that a lot of money was thrown them I'm sure they're well know because they know they could just get 250 straight from you they don't got the deal with it's nonsense that's funny did y'all see sometimes Adrian Brown is funny a lot of the times he [ __ ] a lot of the times no I did not see what Adrien Broner said about how are you living life I'm sure how are you living life let me give it to you some sauce [Laughter] they say y'all just got you out thousands just now y'all just left the place I got a thousand apiece I just left the place seven times I had to pay 350 just the strip so y'all walked home with 650 man what I'm saying is this man bring it down an invaluable last night see y'all should have just you the cash that me ten dollars I get it it's just you know it's a great idea just they have to got to get more control ironically got to get more control great idea the venue look dope a lot of money was being thrown around but to keep it to keep it fly you may have to make sure the dancers get paid more than $1,000 man the older you get the more you just realize how much of a robbery strip clubs are and the whole oh I the whole idea of it you go to the strip club there's a bar there you're gonna have a bunch of drinks strip club eats off the bar strip club is gonna charge all of the girls there to be there then they're gonna charge you 20 percent on every grand that you get in there yeah then they're gonna when you when you take it and throw it to the girls and the girls bring it to count out they're gonna take another ten percent from that and I don't think many people know any of this stuff when you think no that's watch the other strand and a lie and a lot of times the money strip club hate that we're dishing out right just need to be paid and and if you know about the walkthrough deal with most rappers or entertainers they're giving you a you have house money you're just throwing the money back to the strip club like we're gonna give you your half your fee and the other fee is for you to throw back to us yeah so when they have a contract that says eight dancers you can't pick any money up off of the floor because we're gonna sweep all the money up count out at the end that's toy that's kind of that's kind of torture you're making girls wait for you to count a million dollars quote-unquote that's nuts if you think about it oh yeah but cool y'all wait right there we're gonna these money machines count up this money we're not damn it I don't think that they're divvying up whatever they count No then they got a fudge yeah some fudge it happens for all that I just don't know there's worth it fine a [ __ ] just overpaying for [ __ ] let's just Miro like the grand is going for thirty right now I mean that means [ __ ] should only be whatever you know but that but if you know if you milk the game correctly more if you're aware of this of what's happening in the strip club and you know that everybody in there the guys that going there to throw money at the two bartenders they're busting it down and you know what the strip club is taxing them on the money bus now you see white chicks they're trying to sell [ __ ] on the side and if you know that you can get it for the cheap yeah yeah but that's I'm saying dudes are overpaying and I say it all the time like [ __ ] overpaying for [ __ ] man well I mean [ __ ] is kind of like the Nasdaq at the end of the day it's gonna go up and down it's it's the number one users it's the number one thing it's the first thing that was ever sold so much Jesus um so some you know some years it's gonna go low some years it's gonna go high you just got to play the market before she should never cost more than coat well they go hand it in push you you can live coke and [ __ ] together in a bundle deal y'all get mad when Nicky bundles [ __ ] up don't get mad when people bundle up Coke and [ __ ] yeah but [ __ ] is more steadily available for all didn't Nick Nicky looks amazing in sound great yes you guys know I'm not saying that because now there's a relationship present mm-hmm there's a relationship president who you and Nicky yeah you have a relationship gallica war or lack of one but there's something there okay I don't want the fans to think that my opinions are swayed because of the people that I speak to and I like her verse on that new record with the video are you dick eat now hey man but I will ask you guys before we get on the stripper thing have you guys ever made hurry rain speaking of the strippers can't touch the money have you ever been in you yes section and made every right we approached this quarry yes oh yeah I did not all of us have made it rain absolutely see I know the part the price of [ __ ] something always make it rearranged for those who don't know what Ruane means it means you throw your money and you pick it back off the ground and throw it back in the air mmm to make it appear like you are still throwing money can make Vow honey little light scent though buying vagina thing and i want to get off of this because it just doesn't sound right promise first it's the first business evidence is not tableau yeah but and that's part of my issue and that's why I've slow danced in the Bible in purchasing that is why I've slowed down he pardon the stripper why because the strippers back in my day mall Oh God I still your day with them no it's not losing them got it now pump it up streams verses easy streams I'm losing go ahead have a blast over there back in the day mall the strippers kind of they kind of played into the fact that their job was to sell fantasy to you mm-hmm that's what I'll say they played into the art of Illusion mm-hmm so in that how they took care of themselves was a little different how they dressed was a little different how they carried themselves was a little different because we were selling illusion we weren't selling [ __ ] y'all then the game advanced to a place where always cool to [ __ ] the customers now the the New York managers started putting pressure on the talent I'll say Talent bartenders and strippers not the club to put asses in the seats and that can be pressure filled when every when three times a week you're trying to get dudes in your phone to come sit down dudes kind of got hip to that too so now just started [ __ ] whoever just just hit a lick or to keep their bar full and when you start just [ __ ] whoever without caring that you're [ __ ] whoever know what you end up looking like you're never looking like you [ __ ] whoever which change the escort game not that I'm here to allegedly your pop yeah unfortunately I have a little bit of experience in it in this field which is why every time they announce strippable albeit a great business idea for the businesspeople puffs it's great this talent is gonna get robbed why same premise and music because the talent is unaware of just of just all the ways that they shave money yeah which leaves you at the end of the night like the artists responsible for all the money on top of you and you getting paid after when these strippers are getting paid after nine hours after the gig not at night handling it Sam that's all I have the I didn't want to get into a social tripper seminar like like I'm the stripper Whisperer on master class so so specifically in New York does that make the strippers like the lyricist and the bartenders are now like the SoundCloud turn up rappers yes cuz they're getting one is doing the real art form and doing it well with a real talent and then the other one is just reaping all the benefits of the customer my favorite escorts then when got back into the soccer player hustle that's a hustle though yeah that's a good hustle I'm happy about the escorts doing it the soccer horses bike quick Emirates flight it's the biggest biggest sport in the world you hustling backwards with the dude that plays on the bench for the d-league yeah they got big teams too a lot of players yeah and the dude over here in the states that you [ __ ] is none the wiser about homeboy you over there without flash laughs that's less like our money though if you want to yourself York New York district the strip club I'm trying to take into account strip clubs and other cities I got me talk about strip clubs I never think about New York City no that's why I'm trying to make it clear that the bartender's or the the pull at strip clubs in New York it's not like other cities New York City where trash when it comes to strip club with throw money at bartenders that is the crazy [ __ ] in world I'm telling you if I would be the proudest girl and no no knock on any bartenders I love y'all I've respect though get your money with this three nuts that I'm paying for the drink and then no but I'm just saying I was going to the strip club when the dancers look good and they look better than the bartender's like that's all I'm saying it was a great time all I'm saying is that I would have zero shame being a woman woman have woman having a corporate job and then going to shake my ass in the nighttime me Joe that's why Joe is not a woman you say you would have a problem I would have zero problem Joe be moonlighting like the girl like the girl with the cool day job they may be nursing a day time and then they do the nightlife thing like they do their best to keep it like Christopher Reeves and it's Superman your job good night Joe I'm coming straight to my day job please Joe's Delia stripper working his way through college you got to keep that why we're on if you guys want to address what was said about me last week what was said about you that I'm coming out of the closet in 2022 Joe I beg for that just so we can take this podcast the next level man if he was gay think about the heights that we could take this plan this whole entire platform I don't know a bit about me I don't as a good shot but I just wanted to see if it goes in a night shot from who but he brings up a good point but oh okay well good why do you think that that would bring it bring the show to the nice limos asking Paul yeah cuz I think I think Joe coming out let's cord blew it up with GE they all wanna let me get my [ __ ] off now you're getting [ __ ] oh I think that would I think the gay community is a really loyal line I don't know I do I think they're a loyal community because he's worried gay yeah I hang out with that community why do you so loyal cuz I think they because they're gay what they've been through a lot together so they stick together so if Joe came out the closet black people that's a separate point to what I'm saying no we've been we went through a lot together and black people are loyal I know so what's your point to watch so why if he comes out as gay like the show will just go to another level cuz that's a whole nother community that will you know the applies now oh wait Malcolm wall cornered Rory against a race wall oh you support the gays but not gay is not a race Joe jay is not no black I know but it's not a race don't try to get me yeah see what's going on listen to whoever said that I don't want spend much time ensue ever said that Joe was coming out the closet in twenty to twenty twenty that's fine if you are Joe yeah we're supposed to let you know I'm not saying it there's any truth to that well you do know if I was gay I would carry a closet around with me to hide in it or come out of it no you see him out you know that I would storm out of there does anybody know how fast I would barge out of the closet to let you know who I am no I'm just putting it out this so that people don't think that we would have a problem with that there would be no problem that's the other reason I gotta finish high but I'd be offended if people thought we would be offended at Joe P Billy Porter versus Joe Budden red carpet wars this should be fired yo let me announce to anybody that needs to hear this out there you guys I don't know who needs to hear this but in all of Joe Budden contracts in the details it very astutely says do not come out yeah you had a clause it's like Santa Claus [Music] who to me you're not tough to me you're not the measuring stick of which Street [ __ ] listen to uh you know strippers day money man I don't like that [ __ ] yeah well shut the [ __ ] up [ __ ] this contract so oh and all of my contracts it very clearly states that none of my people that partner with me can have any influence on my creative can alter my creative can dictate or enhance my creative say that you just want to say dictate you said anybody that you what partnered with and any of my deals have no authority Authority over my creative okay let it be known I have to I took so what does it have to do with your gayness nothing okay alright I'll ask the really tough questions shoot what did you guys think of the halftime show I love do you know I love why would I know that parks parks loves me a bunny I even tweeted during the halftime show those great sweet parks is losing his mind right now when he came out I was like oh yeah parks is standing on top of a couch somewhere yeah I enjoyed it we spoke off mic comes on fire here's the throw to the plate here in jail oh right you can no no I know you're going to no no I'm gonna stay comfortable no Joe is done coming I'm waiting for the signal from the dugout I'm chilling giving my real thoughts on things I'm not [ __ ] on Shakira or jello or the halftime show or the four songs they did oh you wanted a full concert experience Beyonce and Bruno Mars gave us four records no they didn't know it's a short halftime no dude it's not that long Beyonce and Bruno Mars gave us at least 35 to 40 records it was a double album no I thought it was a good halftime show I look I really did I enjoyed it that's that's what I got a little political statement I [ __ ] with that I liked music I just like looking at JLo right and she's from the Bronx so you guys yeah we [ __ ] with work of war her hip flying like they don't they don't lie Jill white lie no she's 40-something 45 I think yeah y'all got save on working he's pissed good good where did some stage don't know they was damage there they were they wanted 20 old there's a lot of gratuitous crotch shot now now you're right it wasn't amazing performance they both look great hips was intact anything was wonderful yeah that's crazy man you know so you don't believe it you don't believe in aging you [ __ ] with the bondage there's a lot of bondage [ __ ] going on there about nothing that was happening on there they danced they danced great as as great as you could dance at that age hmm and which was great which was great it was great but it should have been great and we should have expected it to be great because that's what they've been doing for the past 30 years so yes great dancing and amazing production in lights and smoke in fireworks what did you want word music Joe want a prince to fall from the sky with two pie stars don't even a blasphemous all of you for even mentioning to God in this nursery that's what you wanted I didn't say that this was anyway incomparably you don't see the prince do you remember Prince oh yeah so don't mention Prince no more nothing everyone purple no big great purple every one of one guitar God was in the building that night that's a phallic action but that's we show it's cool they halftime show was cool okay don't pay me to be the hater of things it was a cool show it was a great look for bad bunny in teh Belvin - [ __ ] that this is available YouTube now yes out there well more healing is available on YouTube I won't point this French perform we are two available YouTube I remember that no I've recently watched I would I was telling you that he said that can you make it rain harder that was that was one of my other favorite parts of all the commercials during the Superbowl like seeing Hulu and YouTube and all the likes of them advertising when television saying hey [ __ ] television I know you guys are watching now but when this is over they're not gonna want to watch this fools owned by the [ __ ] TV station so they were gonna [ __ ] yeah I still liked it yeah um they owned by the TV stations anyway right are you guys on this kill kill Kyle Shanahan wave Donna kill him why yeah give us some background uh because he was offensive coordinator of the Falcons when they blew the largest lead in Super Bowl history against the Patriots coupled with blowing a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl here he has been outscored 41 to zero in the fourth in the second half of Super Bowls both the second and the first and second largest comebacks ever have happened against Cal Shannon Shannon so I'm asking you guys are you killing Kyle Shannon yeah I wouldn't hire him come on don't make this little [ __ ] wouldn't hire don't make this all Jalen in Jacoby I can't can't say I'd hire him but uh you know that isn't boy he's apparently really bright oh yeah but there's something to be said for you know being really bright until the lights hit but there was a oh yeah nice that there's a platform kind of game changing plays that grow up low didn't hit so I can't really kill him for that like that Emanuel Sanders play would have won the game out at better it right there or all of the George Cato plays or all the George Gillett plays so I'm not gonna kill for that I do think they should have ran the ball more what same same thing happened in Atlanta why would you not just run the ball out but it made for a much better Super Bowl so honestly no Cokie I enjoyed I enjoyed the second half of the game much much more to maybe his fuck-ups yeah and then I read the Gruffalo's contract is like the exact opposite of guaranteed like that they can get away from that before the draft really yeah without having to pay him at all well I dafuq how I [ __ ] up so I wouldn't be surprised very few people have like real guaranteed contracts yeah but quarterbacks usually is a little safer somebody gonna pay up the list is getting longer for whom all has to fit fix their contract Olivia clean up my bed ma clean up what Davis take it to us you have some yeah we get out the Super Bowl real quick let's talk about the splits yeah talk about Jimmy G splits clean up I mean I'm like go talk to you man I'm saying the creator's create but what they talked about it was there was a feeling yes the energy when they came up when it came to puff amazing like that I'm just telling you name like that why why you had to know they wasn't gonna feel you know I did not yeah yes you do you scream you on the side of the creators and did not be on the solder to create us my entire argument last week is that puff is a creator nobody so much nice that's my point right so how am I on the side of the creator when it's two creators no but the thing was it's it's clear that mace is in the shitty he has a shitty do that's not clear I said last week that I can't pull anything from this based off one side that's fair you think I thought I was being more than fair last week who's big do you think la Reed is a creator la Reed has been a creator he graduated away from that but has there been sessions where la Reed has participated in the creative yes does la Reed have some of that pub we've seen those doors to just yes just curious yeah la Reed yeah he goes in that boat for me hungry there's a bunt there's a few people that belong in that boat and that's where the conversation is nuanced small that's what I was saying not like it's not that they kept mentioning that I was crying during de la Sol versus Tommy Boy yes that's a very different yes I was there's a very big difference in that situation if I can interject briefly Tommy Boy they came to De La Soul came to town but for what I understand from what's been told they came to them with the album full of samples and Tommy Boy said nah don't worry about it you're not gonna sell no records anyway don't clear the samples we're not gonna clear not even samples just straight records yes straight opposed in love Dale I'm just let's be clear straight records and then now we're saying now we're not giving you better splits because you got to pay off all this sample [ __ ] that's [ __ ] up that's them being negligent and saying now don't do that and then holding you to that to add to that my beef with with them there and why say I'm always on the side of creators Tommy Boyd not only didn't believe in that project you put it out that was the extent of your role so now yes the pub has outperformed whatever agreement y'all have had you all should have the decency back to your argument last week the decency to open that conversation y'all were not a part of the creation of this I don't hold puff to that that's long before I started working with puff that's my that's my issue that's why I was hurt that's why I was offended because if there's one person in this business who has proven himself tonight acquiesce that way it's me no look at your phone now was a big word yeah but you know my thing is again the the the bigger conversation was us enslaving each other like that was the bigger conversation like we shouldn't do dirty business with each other just because the music industry is dirty especially when we control music like what if I think we all agree with that yeah that's all I'm saying like don't we got to stop putting each other in [ __ ] up positions just because we feel like the music industry was built on a [ __ ] up position mall okay but let's do this let's do this now and a lot of what I say comes from kind of my own experience and [ __ ] mm-hmm let's do this when I was 19 years old or how old I was 20 years old I don't remember and I turned on the TV and saw Webb next to clue at a Knicks game or maybe saw a web anywhere with clue or just saw what they was doing right and the situation that they had planned on doing which was the same thing anybody was gonna back then hey I want to build a studio will form production team money Street [ __ ] will create the music will use our relationships together we going right mmm at 18 I was willing to make that trade mmm in that trade what was told to me that was standard is 50% of your publishing is relinquished from the RIP a lot of people who got the old model row well notice what I'm talking about old times yeah I'm talking about old times I'm talking about 2000 2001 and I'm not sure that's old I think that's still happening but carry on for the most part good go get well that's the thing today that doesn't still have to happen cuz there are no viable outlets but if you want to go straight ways to get a deal today but if you wanna if you wanna go straight major you're gonna run into that in 2000 you were giving up 50% of your pub right and this is my point just follow me this may be long so you give up 50% of your pub mmm and I was talking about me right for me I was locked into that for 18 years we're on top was old half of my Publishing even after they had long stopped having anything to do with the music business and I fought for it with the publisher and with them their argument was we have put in too much there you're not asking us for something that is yours you're asking us for something that's ours because of what we put in and you have to acknowledge that and they kept it a buck with me because we were so fly fam why would I sell you your pop back it's mine and I worked for it yeah but when you say it's yours and you work for it my thing is if no their thing that right my thing is this if I have a label or management company and I see a young kid in the hood and he's I know he's got all this talent I have money I'm able to put some money into them it should be this simple the money that I spend on you as long as I make that we could make money together but at any point when you say you're listen I want to own all my publishing as long as I may back what I put in I'm cool I didn't take a loss so I'm not but I'm alright but that's that's not it's not that's not good business you know you don't do you don't do business to break even and then you're gonna do what you if I don't speak to you for 20 years and I'm still making money off of music that you wrote music that you created if it's music I'm a part of right we don't need to do time all you did was like get put me in a position to be heard cool great we made that business happen together we had that moment we made history together but now if we haven't spoken in 20 years so that's where that I'll sit and still be making money off of me but that's why not because I'm not making money off of you yes you are how you have 50% your publishing theoretically I don't know a basis publish I wrote these songs this is my [ __ ] yeah well I mean that's you're getting a chunk of it that's not just music that's right any of it that's kind of the point of investing like but outside a music period like say I'm just saying if they say if you want to open up a restaurant and I have the bread to open that restaurant with you and that's even that's your forte but I'm the bank for this point and I'm saying right give me 15% once I get my money back then I'll take 15% profit of everything you do from there that's just a point of investing that's not that's not a music thing that's just at some point if I say listen I want I want I want all of my publishing and I have the money to pay you like here's however millions of dollars like you shouldn't make it difficult at that point for me to hold my publisher technically hypothetically he spent way more than the two million dollars Oh note but this goes back to what I said as long as you made back what you put in it shouldn't be a beef we don't know that he made back what he put in I'm sure he did he probably did but we donated a lot over there no that makes for a lot of moves luck we will mace wrote a lot of music though so debuff he's arguably the second biggest artist ever over this I think he is the second biggest art service oh okay somebody kept the lights on puff you don't think makes had anything to do no I think mace a big chunk out especially at the big dot yeah that's what I'm saying so I'm just holding some type of position of hypothetically half of his pub 25% I guess if he's busting it down with puck he said he wants all of his publishing back that's not that's not his call why is it not his call I'm just don't understand I'm not artists help me understand your artists how or you know you've been comments if I bring all these ideally when we went into business together this is what I know and I have viewed this this way long before a puff relationship mm-hmm one thing seems to have been consistent through every bad-boy project ever that's with boy bands girl bands little known rappers big rappers there's a certain sound that is consistent even when these artists have come and go mmm the sound remains the same hmm so I argue when you say I wrote those records yeah writing is one aspect of publishing right if I go in and my IP is the record and I instruct you on what to do as we've heard numerous times from bad boy artists about puffs mm-hmm then part of this publishing the creator publishing is mine okay if you come here that's just my hired all the producers I put together all you did is come in and fill the blanks not saying that mace didn't do more in that play hypothetically mmm in any situation and very common you know this people get a record and they just fill in the blank mark you deserve it's not the people that made the whole canvas deserve a piece of that money of course I do and we're joking around bringing up rich in olivia.olivia but I thought that that was a very poignant example Olivia pops back up on love and hip hop saying yo you robbed me I already checked toon core I've spoken to everybody in place and all of this money went to Dollaz unlimited which is your company and rich replies and says yeah I own that song that is where the money was supposed to go it was mine I was trying to get other people to sing this song yes we're friends oh but how do you expect this to be divvied up if you know anything about the music business now was that I won't say that that's malicious but how don't you understand that aspect of it no I understand the businesses business understand that but my thing is there's a lot of [ __ ] up that's 50% of his part mm-hmm if he has 50% of his part mm-hmm does that change this argument for you if he's now coming and asking for the other 50% that's yours for the work that you put in oh and that was what I was trying to articulate last week yeah if he maybe I got that wrong somehow and I don't think it's I don't think it's 5050 I think him and puff maybe bust down cuz I don't know what they're well publishing also gets sneaky because it's 200 percent that's so yeah I'm not usually I don't use numbers here usually when a publishing thing would be a 50/50 for to break it down but with the parent company I don't know what they took they would get 50 - yes so hundred and then the other half would go the other hundred would be 50 the producers 50 - the writers of which that's why I'm saying I don't know if Mase owns 50% of his publishing that's all I'm saying and I don't want to beat people down with this yeah pub talk because it is complicating it is confusing it's nuanced yeah it's a lot but at some point we got to have the call about artists selling their pub when it's convenient for them because for a long time that was the way to do it no it's still happening with these uh what's this [ __ ] called where you can buy people's uh oh the catalogs and if we talked about it on this yeah we talked about before but I forgot the name but yeah dream dream was the first person that that made it more popular yeah sold it for some stupid amount that he probably got more there's still a lot of doing it people still selling their problem bottom line Joe is not with anybody getting robbed or there's perks yes that was that was my biggest thing like we just got to stop robbing Etan's yeah having someone signed something that they're not aware that they're signing I think on a moral on a moral ground I'm speaking to that which happens every day especially in business but that's what I'm saying more grow what you're signing but don't really fully understand the implications and it's hard to fault someone because you don't really realize what that means over the long term like say yeah you might have had a good lawyer he might had all that [ __ ] we don't know I don't know I'm speculating but in general you may have a good lawyer that can tell you what that means but you don't really feel what that means until you know twenty years later you're like [ __ ] I signed away twenty million dollars for 20 grand or whatever the case may be I guess my advice with the lawyer thing is get your own lawyer even when you're doing business with people and you think that we that's our lawyer yeah it's no get Joan well do you believe there's a such thing as friendship and business friendship and business dependence is not related to talk by these puffing based on now I'm just oh yeah I believe that especially it depending on who the parties are like if we grew up together and we were crazy fly before you know talents reached a certain level and business came into play and absolutely they because before this we was we was down so absolutely in that case yes he's definitely friends before because without this [ __ ] you should sleep on my couch I used to we fought [ __ ] together we you know I'm saying it was like [ __ ] we grew up together right so absolutely in that case if there's people like that going into business absolutely librarian that sometimes can make it even more complicated yeah I mean I'll I can speak to this directly because I have a business with my friends and of course it always brings up awkward conversations especially in the beginning that maybe you didn't want to have because that is immense and maybe he doesn't contribute what he thinks he contributes to certain conversations but I think if there is a love there and there is a trust there and you have a really open conversation about these things you'll get to it it'll take some time and some arguments but if that's really your friend you'll find some middle ground that hey we can live here if we're friends we not ever be fan of money no and I would get I would get a business so I would had the French even in the equation yeah but that's why I love that Quincy Jones dock when he said me and Frank Sinatra never had a contract with each other we were just best friends we had to talk we shook hands and nobody nobody robbed never robbing any anybody it was like he wrote for me I wrote would you do any of your business like that today well fanship if it's my man like that absolutely I would because you know that that's never gonna come in between yeah like you have to have that type of it I'm just saying you have to know your relationship with chip where who you talking about obviously Quincy generals know him and Frank Sinatra was this is my guy like I was a terror that I would I would say no to that that question did mall has a lot more male friends than me too um I will say that I absolutely am in business relationships like that currently you know friends if that's my homie weight ain't no piece of paper going make us keep our word I'm currently in some of that as well yeah I would never we honor it yeah honor what like I have a handshake deal in place with with some people yeah we do but that's it like I said deal in place with quite a few people I do good business like I try not to [ __ ] people having business that's it I hear you and I have those as well but I think any time I was seeking the business and you want the business to grow and when it grows sometimes it's tough to keep track of a lot of things whether it be expenses hiring business managers higher lawyers hiring a bunch of people that really have no interest in your friendship or the handshake that you had and I think even when you have other businesses besides the one you and your friend have things can interchange expenses can come from one thing to another thing because you're just not just negligence is as human beings yeah so it's helpful I think everyone should always spend that $1,500 to it just put it in writing yeah just call it a day spend that it's gonna lessen the headache or at the very least you should have some type of email or text or something so there's something oh I the old school copyright write it on a piece of paper put it in the mail and mail it to yourself I'll do the old copy right should I do something you should do something for me what supersedes all of that is being as valuable as you can be at all times I agree oh absolutely like absolutely if you have all the all of the value that you think that you have you'll be able to get the handshake deal off and have people walk in line as long as you're valuable yeah and if for you that's in perpetuity then goddamn it it should be in perpetuity but and we'll get out of this because it's become a morbid but even when you are boring yeah even when you're really really close with someone and something may affect your life where you're not as valuable now you're looking at your friend like I know I'm not valuable now but we friends you said he was gonna do this yeah so that's where it comes weird but let's move on and have fun I don't know Jeff the jvp boys are on the second night of a back-to-back swag they played they played it's up one last night and triple overtime was the Super Bowl halftime show too sexy tune in next week they're crossing to win in 50 years oh yeah by calling her low Spanish girl all right come on what other Super Bowl stuff is there to get to uh home and Beyonce sat down during the national anthem oh yes yes news people see somebody that has a deal with the NFL and the NFL's biggest oh yeah I thought Jay was gonna suck in job and be up the Hat off some in the flame think that long when you thought it was over just when you thought that Joe was the only one that was throwing the cape on for his man monster big keep it for yo-yo home I got you this one's for the city for the city he should sit that's how it feels oh look man we don't even do our whole Vinge's Forum thing oh we got well we got a forum y'all all right come on defend it react give me some in-depth analysis here what's happening tell the people was going on during the national anthem at the Super Bowl they panned to jay-z and Beyonce from shaky cellphone footage and they were sitting down during the national anthem cool you guys you guys that's this is right what they're saying is wrong is that old told Kaepernick that we were past kneeling and we need to take action y'all hypocrisy transmat for him to sit down later why can't you know why can't you also act and sit I was about to say like what that's just kneeling yeah like that that people just you just take things out of that that doesn't mean he has to wear star-spangled banner' shirt and salute let's be clear he was in charge at a halftime entertainment which Joe hated so but I mean narrative that y'all paint leads our audience to believe that I hate everything and I don't well you do it to us so we're just returning or on defense yeah I just have yeah I just don't get a run to the same media okay cause y'all sure like yeah I'm not I'm not eat and that as easily impressed as you guys the end or or maybe we didn't care that much and it was cool like well that was cool everything from Joe is not a personal attack on you guys I miss to other people out there not you and Parks oh I thought we having conversation amongst people in the room well we can do that too I think it's cool you sure I used to sit befall it is though that's the finest what I'm thinking anything about y'all took it somewhere different if I personally can if it's a fact if you do a poll and the people say that I could arguably create a better star-spangled banner than whatever's playing like I'm gonna sit could definitely make a better star-spangled oh yes Beyonce would destroy the [ __ ] star-spangled banner day will kill it they will give us some ills you to Bob to a vibe streets need that a vibe imagine starting a football game with this instead oh not it's gonna be a good game you hit this way you want to hear this before a football game or your national anthem it's gonna be good game you bring the food stole football game how can you not go out then throw for over 400 yards I think the white people would be just as confused as Jennifer Lopez and bad bad baby and that money and homeboy J both J Balvin would they want a few they knew who was performing over you mother say to me that them white people knew what was going on on that stage ya know why people like them white people love Jennifer Lopez their pop stars yeah they love JLo my conversation is about the white people present not about white people in general yes to be those types of pop stars white people have to like you Miami the white the Latin community is very large in mind so majority yeah nobody know white people at that game were confused about okay and and and we can talk about the white people that are there how why you asked me I'm black in Queens you were confused at the Superbowl crowd would be there this isn't your typical Budweiser parking lot white people that can afford the Superbowl I think those white people knew the pop stars maybe not so bad bunny in jail van but y'all don't see any movement behind the people props in the front you can't see it's dark I can I thought you and everyone look I did look red lights is standing still don't worry about it don't worry about it move on move on well what else do we got nothing as much else from Super Bowl you know I'm always super ball [ __ ] y'all Oh after the whole sit down all right now let's get into it then what's wrong with the whole sit down everybody like the whites they would be mad at that the whites always said nobody was always definition except for the white what was I named Tommy Lauren Oh we shouldn't even say your name yeah okay I'm sorry I don't know what the job was over not saying her name thing yeah she's boycotted she's a clown okay those are the two band names from the jbp worm TL and a B and whoever malls dating that's not even an initial bring that up yeah joke don't do that don't do that Joe come in here and tries to put the team on his shoulders for the lack of things we get from Rory in parks cuz you guys are engaged well I think we're pretty good for being I think I think I wait we I think I'd give it up for my my situation you do boy Wyatt parks think he got the bro we never shared aside from Jeff Goldblum [ __ ] chicks that's still the wildest [ __ ] ever to me but it says he's number one on the list Goldblum it's true Jeff Jeffery see it yeah you do an honor Black History Month every podcast this month I want to highlight a black man or a woman that I are that I respect that inspires me that motivates me we certainly do not have enough episodes in a month for me to get to all the different names that applies to but I'm gonna try my best to give it a shot here so hey [Music] all right I know he's enough Stiles Stiles is making me angry now and first up on my black people who inspire me list would be drumroll please that was an interesting drumroll you guys I'm starting off with will Packer yes screen man I know you don't know about will Packer pull up whatever you can find will Packer to me is amazing he's a visionary he just be ahead of the curve with [ __ ] he paves the way and leaves a path for all creators to come behind him uh and my affinity with will Packer starts in just what he does he has will Packer productions he has will Packer media he has will Packer everything will Packer is an executive will Packer went to fan Mull which is a Florida am will Packer in 94 started his own production company independent will Packer put out a movie under that imprint that what cost 20 grand to make and eventually became the number one movie off independently at that time he went on to finagle his first deal with Universal uh and if you're unfamiliar with will Packer his accolades are way too long Think Like a Man right along right along to girls trip almost Christmas Straight Outta Compton note The Wedding ringer night school what men want he basically just he did the Tyler Perry you did very absolutely and because that's the field that I'm aspiring to get into well Packer provides me hope he provides me hope he's wanted a few black people in Hollywood that probably won't hear and no employees countless amount of people and he did it all on his own yeah anybody who has that type of story inspires me actually let me read a little bit because his story is his story is intriguing to me let's see let's see let's see Lee I was family started filmmaking with his colleague and future business partner Rob Hardy while participating in an internship with veteran producer Warrington Hudlin in 94 Packer and Hardy produced their first film chocolate city for 20 grand Packer helped brokers broker a small distribution deal with Blockbuster Video and his story just to me it says like sometimes you know when success is on the horizon because it has to ride with your success like multiple successes he was just successful with everything he did and he wrote that to where he wanted to be 20 grand for chocolate city Packer helped broker a small distribution deal with Blockbuster Video after graduating packer and Hardy moved to Atlanta Atlanta and co-founded rainforest films Packer produced and oversaw the company's studio financed and self financed films and distribution projects I've got to hear what's going on there in 94 like to have an idea to execute it properly and then secure the proper funding for somebody to continue helping you with your vision in the nineties that's such a young age yeah yeah man in 2001 movies destroy great film rainforest films first movie to be released theatrically grossed over 1.2 million and became the fastest million dollar grossing film independently distributed by African and African Americans like listen to that so he didn't so he didn't just blow them out of the park at first he grossed 1.2 million like his climb is gradual and you could see it uh weird let's see there's a unless he listened you ran for in 2001 oh wait ran four films in 34 we don't get by that in 2001 Packer helped broker a deal with Sony to produce and distribute urban films including true sequel Troy the ESCO escort and motives the firt the film locked-down released on home video under this rainforest Sony collaboration was one of Columbia TriStar top selling independent releases no 5 that's his story all the way up until now bottom line he just won everywhere that he was and outside of that as a black man he found a business partner that was unwilling to let him ever walk out of the door and that's what happens when you went so now he puts put Kevin Hart in position Tiffany Haddish in position a lot of the black people to go on stage at these award shows and they start getting to thanking people they think will Packer and that's where that's that's my understanding of where he is today just constantly putting black people and white people might have had but Black History Month so not about that black people in position to flourish at whatever it is they want to do Lisa Raye being one of those people will Packer just a huge inspiration to me and outside of this moment I don't know if I would have ever said that anywhere I see involved we look to him directly right with the ESEs new film is he well with that I didn't look to see I wouldn't be shocked I wouldn't be shocked either that's why it sounds like I just think he would definitely want to produce in 2017 Packer launched will Packer media a branded content and digital production company in partnership with Discovery Communications and universal pictures so this is a relationship going for about 20 years now with Universal they just would not let him leave once he started winning and they provided him the necessary tools for it to get them to continue to win that may not be important right now but in a few months we're gonna come back in and talk about how important that is finding a partner who gets your vision and won't let you leave hmm so I would like to just personally thank will Packer during Black History Month for all that he's done all that he's accomplished and for continuing to be a huge inspiration and everything that everything that I do and everything that I'm trying to get done yeah I think that's a good pick dope that's a real real good pick yeah those is a good idea when you hit us about that and uh I wasn't sure if you guys thought Cornie no I don't think it's corny at all I don't think it's corny at all when else would we do this no I mom I don't want to be that guy but again I don't think we should wait for one month do a month you know I agree I agree with you that's all but that's why I wanted to use this opportunity get into not so much Black History Month sure that fell in a great time but with Kobe passing listen I don't know man I don't know when the dudes I [ __ ] with he's gonna go okay so I'm getting that respective yeah where are you say I'm sorry well yeah I put and it's funny you mention that I put together a list just that thought was a great idea and obviously there's so much to pick from I would feel remiss not to start the month out without bringing up combat Jack Reggio seasoning that was that was number one on my list as soon as we had you had brought that up I was like I can't not start with Reggio say you stole my black information yeah I can't um and this one's a little close to home so I don't know how I don't think I'm gonna give his long and dope detailed thing as Joe just did but yeah I don't think this podcasting game we're cops Jack you could just say y'all know the [ __ ] vibe y'all know the [ __ ] like especially within empowering the the black podcasting boom that has has come um you know you could say anyone did it before or after it doesn't matter he took it and made it a thing he started the Def Jam of podcasting to me and did it with will not if Jerry Falwell speaker last figure up to him got it tastes credit okay um and I I watched all that happen in and watched him not ask for anything in return at all and he was so early in on getting in that network it was never a money thing I know I know we had a long conversation about the the friendly handshake thing I saw combat do that with so many people and put them in a position that they had no chance in their own brain that they would be there right now combat put put that and instill that into them and said found me nothing just to just be around me right now [ __ ] with you I think you're talented just soak up game yeah and yeah I couldn't start this this thing without starting with with Reggio say I agree I agree to Godfather this [ __ ] rest in peace to combat and something that you know I paid and today back then when when uh when combat was putting out like two and a half hour episodes three hour episodes like boy did that seem like far-fetched to me it was like it was like unimaginable yeah that somebody could sit and talk for three hours and have 250,000 people listening to that and begging for more his interviews belong in museums like agree there they're nuts that he was able to do that and even if you got there late and felt like he was early you went back two years like wait he has this interview with him with her what the [ __ ] I think that's the part Rory I was just talking to Ian about this all earlier actually that's the part that selfishly is really sick about death from me like when these people go yeah they leave remnants behind and they inspire generations and you know all that but when people go they take them with them hmm like Kobe's gone and how Kobe did Kobe with all the gracefulness and yeah we see the moves in NBA but how Kobe did Kobe is going Steve Jobs left in the iPhone will never be the same they're just gonna improve the camera a bunch of times yeah combat Jack left and how Jack did it is it's just you're not gonna get that sauce anymore Stuart Scott rest in peace I love you and I miss you how he didn't know how he did what he did we are not gonna see that again even though we turn on TV on and see people attempt to emulate that yeah um and I just think we take that for granted a lot of time so rest in peace combat Jack not to jump on your [ __ ] oh no no no I wanted us to be a group group discussion boy do I love you I think you should be paid [ __ ] in perpetuity for some of the [ __ ] that's going on out here but I know you up there and you proud of us I know you up the end you proud of us put some on my face I definitely know he is cuz back to my original point of fan I don't I'm not trying to put y'all on a deal like I just want to see this podcasting thing be great Jack was given our game it Jack gave our game and this is Joel [ __ ] I have a thing for people that transition gracefully hmm like like a Shannon on Daugherty from 90210 jisub just came out and said the she has stage 4 cancer that's my first time hearing that but I put myself in her shoes and I was like god damn it has to be tough there has to be tough to not only find that out but to deliver that news to your audience or to audience that's not yours and what it's like I put myself in them shoes to what it's like for your final days Jack left just gracefully man he was posting pictures at the instant yeah absolutely not yo we're gonna beat this thing Stuart Scott same thing I go back and watch his on SB speech a bunch because his speech and it's one more nose espy speeches it's like some of the best speeches I've ever heard so I listened to him a lot yeah alright I'm getting all Freud [ __ ] now no I wanted it to be a group thing I I didn't want to put too much thought into it cuz I was close with him so I'll get teary-eyed I don't do when they say well mm but I just wanted if we were gonna have this conversation I could not do it without speaking about Reggie that that's all it was cuz I don't think I'll do justice on mic to that I could write something nice but no I'll get too [ __ ] up so I just wanted to mention Reggie I love him to death and I think he should be mentioned if we're gonna start this segment because I think is an amazing segment and he needs to start with it okay frames should be in this [ __ ] have to chuck with Chino I'm gonna start I'm from a small town of Salem New York called Elmyra people know he said many let's do it I've reached just the other day I read that it was 19 I'm sorry 2018 it was rated the sixth worst city in the country to live in for african-americans based on income ownership and incarceration rate mm-hmm so uh does does that go with the prison that's there does the I'm sure it has reasons into jail okay so I wanted to highlight much more I'm is happening in Elmira do a lot for us in jail seems like a lot well it's their state well it's the state one that a lot allowed to from New York City if they get sentence the state time we'll go to Elmira correct you probably heard in rap songs in didn't I have no I yeah I didn't know that was that much though to prisons in the jail yeah that's a lot yeah so I want to highlight Ernie Davis from Elmira well he was born in Pennsylvania but he went to high school and graduated no more so how I am first black Heisman Trophy winner okay first by the Redskins and then traded to the Cleveland Browns and passed from leukemia before you ever played before you ever play correct on this horrible yeah but from all Myers so it's pressed simple no and more you not need to cool for sure only now is nobody now somebody I think it's overlooked a lot in a business and entertainment or Byron Allen alright yeah yeah I think Byron Allen is not some a name that people bring up a lot of racial [ __ ] man how can Byron Allen be overlooked in business feels like a multi-billionaire it I think Byron out I think he gets lower he's worth a lot but he's just somebody that I think a lot of people in our culture don't talk about and don't know about and um I think he's definitely just like a black man that we should salute and that we should uh applaud for because he's broken out a lot of doors he's made a lot of things happen in entertainment and in business coming from a comedian yeah you know I mean that's his essentially his start was comedy yeah forget that part yeah so he still shows out syndication mm-hmm yeah still I believe he owns a couple networks I think we talked about him briefly he owns a whole entertainment studio we talked about him during the Comcast debacle correct yeah but he's somebody that we don't you know we don't talk about a lot and in our culture and a lot of it is because I think a lot of people don't like the fact that he's married to a white woman I think people know some type of way about your liking with Meg do it though right talk about it and I'm fighting for gender equality we're gonna start there but yeah I call same to sellout every morning yeah but um yeah Byron Allen man if you don't know about him you should read up on him they'll be surprised about how much he's done and um you know I believe he owns a couple networks if I'm not mistaken that was the Comcast do you believe that was the civil rights deal I'm mistaken he's a big deal he's a big deal entertainment definitely and I think that he's somebody that we should definitely uh give their flowers to absolutely for sure you guys that green note those were four really good picks to set this segment off yeah no I think I think it's a good segment mm-hmm it just played out differently differently in my head when I ran gay I'm gonna try to bring in an idea can you hit us with a voice note so I know he was like really a little concerned because Texan is is what made it read a little corny to me yeah all right now they gotta I gotta get my voice on this one all right now that was dope dome there was please listen to stylist B time is money out the album this record is from Tamas money is a really underrated styles p.m. all of his albums are under atoms I think gangsta and gentleman gets his due I love styles being his wife I don't know if I said that enough that I do yeah I love them um alright what up what up what up what up what we got listen silly me at home right because I'd be home hayden and when you home Aidan you kinda are relishing Monday of from Monday to get here so you could kind of get all the scoop that you missed mmm so I was waiting for all the Monday tea to come out and Monday got here none of the tea came out I was like you know what the [ __ ] were they doing in Miami where I can't get any of the tea and then I realized no there was a lot of [ __ ] going on just about [ __ ] that I don't give two [ __ ] about ie this javante versus his baby mom [ __ ] yeah cool it happened we got to talk about evil [ __ ] about what's going on there as long as she didn't get hurt quick ah money bag yo versus re he pulled her wig off they got into it I don't really care about this I missed that one too what else French and 50 I saw that I saw that we back at it mmm wasn't enough therefore the story for me to be invested there but they just stopped yeah I'm a little over 15 French it's it's weird at this point like I think makes it make some music like no that's that's kind of my thing it's not a real beef like stop they just they just rolling back and forth don't make some music together yeah I agree and Megan Jeezy mmm that was the other Superbowl story that was so uncomfortable it was a feeling of it was a feeling these white kings taking our queen low motel 6 on top Florida Hilton give me all these rooms listen I'm trying not to say nothing bad about you what can you say no not about hammer but about you ain't got his pub how about this clip pops got his pub - this is mine here's a smooch bag now this reminds me of you know you know how girls keep their gay bestie well wait that's that's what she's like a gay bestie video like after the club wearing a bed I don't got nobody to like hotel this what it looks like when you got to swoop over here do with the silk shirt like come on fam look like he was good for I [ __ ] with Jeezy no I like you I don't think he's is doesn't look like this doesn't look like Megan was she had the hots for him this look like let's just do this for the gram and I'm a flirt with this white boy no you being used as a prop this is what I think like [ __ ] don't be known when they props if he was a problem just showing something to more off-camera okay showing him some others that is ish you kept the files we got I'm talking bout this video check it all the video I never saw that bull now that you have it's the same night same fight one of us captain's ain't playing right oh we've been here and we been on this that looks like a prop videos all I'm saying like I know that Vestas gets to get to get the gram up in a roar like you can't let these Queens use you like that is all I'm saying did he beat or not I don't know I'll go speak that can't speak today always have fun I'm just saying like that that video just didn't do to none what is it man I did a lot of things egg what do you think Meg be getting big drunk and just be living the way big drunk women live yeah all right the conversation off of mega Megan G easy style ru shoots grace great let's take this conversation off of them for a second Rory let me do provide what you just said in your history of dealing with the girls that get big drunk yeah when you want run into one that you would like some intimacy with yeah I don't know is it difficult for you to attain no okay and Megan look like shooting sensually cuz we're in weird times she's true Megan look like she'll get drunk but you have a good time Fleur kiss and that's what I'll never let you beat that's what I'm saying more that's the big drunk girl I'm talking about you Luke Jeezy took a whole no I don't know Joe no say but this this looks a little proper still just looks like it's putting grant that was a her pager his page oh no he was giving it up you don't make not doing that she what are you talking about she the whole thing yeah what is he doing he a CEO sent me that vid look at the leg choose into it I can't speak you know I like when when a woman lets me do all this and I don't have to finish the commitment of sex the best part yeah I have to go to the club thank [ __ ] you and VIP rub all on ya ass [ __ ] tongue kiss you when I'm drunk allegedly then go to it go to the Hilton get some blue balls take it to the bathroom jerk it out and then bounce what and wait if I get the [ __ ] fish kiss your cheek and they press cheap I smell man yeah Meg definitely smell good all right so now let's get nothing now let's advance the conversation who went to fight between gez and trey songz so why would they be fighting we do a podcast more I don't know why don't I compel because trey songz used to be the guy that could pretend [ __ ] pretend [ __ ] no rub ski yo remember a [ __ ] year and a half of Trey Songz popping up everywhere yeah we mean the hero but it was for a year and a half I mean you remember camping oh stop remember they're recording stop you both are doing a lot yeah cap was near that night we don't know that that's true we don't know we went to Ty's Laurie was supposed to be telling me about the outrage from this video because I was on a weird what what outrage what was the problem here the timeline without cam people raised about raising most I'm tired outraged about the timeline can't get outraged with [ __ ] with me anymore I'm done okay okay but what were these now raised every morning y'all here what would they say you know I don't know they they were upset there's relations that meg has allegedly chosen to be with G easy people were mad at they were upset about I can't choose who you love yeah I heard Jeezy got the good coke so I don't make sense to me if you out to go hang out with him yeah house he told us it seemed to be having a good time yeah out of every arrest or run-in with the cops that gez his head it sounds like he throws a pretty good party I know that [ __ ] with coke like they don't miss a beat when it sound released a single singles work sorry get like them glory man can you take the old cat porno off the screen scream a got a little crazy oh no Tom line was jokingly outraged that's all they were it was it was some funny memes I enjoyed it it's a little too cheesy a meg listen I believe I believe in love so I'm looking squeeze use you for prop video that's all a lot of music you like to be used I mean used and abused I've been used for a cuddle before what if she wouldn't make do all that to you right and then the next time you see her she won't even say huh whatever now you well it appears small it appears to be that way because gez posted all that he's commenting on all their photos she ain't reply once the only reply she said was you lying [ __ ] him may I let you do all that flirting all that squeezing I respect it and she'll see you next week at another event and won't even say RT know not to look that's my problem man I bet you Megan getting that off he's probably okay with that I love I love that though cuz I'm that type of dude too though that won't say Auto girl like I could be mad into you one Friday mmm yeah I was with you that was just for that Friday boo like I'm off it now I feel I've done that a time or two it's my whole life I still speak now you come in now I speak okay Eddie Josie of apparently GE Z's girlfriend at the time but we're really brewing a beer now Jesus girlfriend put out a little snapchat vid wait wait gez has a girlfriend yes right now today [Music] used it that she called with that and you have that card shoutout to Berg she looks like a nice lady - that's just alleged girlfriend she looks like the halftime show looks like all of them blue eyes the little Spanish gross you've given it up today how you go from being a white man to a race well I guess that goes hand in hand yeah you see it's not delay is appealing themselves with cuz she was white once upon a time once upon showdown viacom and just go yeah crazy don't believe you I don't think anything about this you don't have a deep dive here yeah he's gonna laugh yeah I'm G easy and my biggest singles have come from featuring women that rap yeah alright wife you got a chill for a second how to get this weird kissing video off you know that that's how I go now let's flirt and then put out a record three days later oh yeah let's advance the conversation mmm is that box by Youngberg the new ladies night no no I like that burg so no I do too that's cuz you would thought I am NOT tired so no it's not then the ladies night no I don't know they always talking about the same thing every verse last time he's double booked more husband it's been a while it's crazy I appreciate Joe trying to take us the next level I appreciate you you know care about this bullshit's fun to talk about on the double-booking that's fun to talk about - yeah well these guys ain't gonna take a beer with me no let's do it what's what's the excuse that you've used to get the first appointment out the crew work or or if you or have you done a the different location excuse we're finished right forgot no Joe's never I like I like like the people what have sex with and they like me better more to the sex happening but it depends like it up and make it clear that sex is finished you got anyone have a cigarette just a man gave that my all I have nothing left [Music] I know listen I know you guys beat up professional boxers you say you'll [ __ ] get out my career when you've done [ __ ] y'all of God's I'm just a mere mortal over here no we didn't say beat up a professional boxer just said don't be scared were you taking this right now that's what I want to know I have nothing oh here that's what you tell them to get out the house I have nothing I'm done but then you go for the doubleheader well you have to regroup no glass of water you tell me three days later till my hey what you doing I'm horny I'm not I just think you know secondly we probably don't shower in between the double-headed - no you - same she's Sharon mad DNA no you just gotta flip it over pull the hair dryer out Rory if you flip a wet sheet over snow but it dries the stain just if you flip it you won't see the stain many many many many never there I love the comforter more than you MA during the intimacy try to [ __ ] put the blanket somewhere near [ __ ] like this now move white comforter with your [ __ ] juice oh my god anyway many many many many many years ago many many years the last week guy many years ago during a double booked in this weekend like the first chick came over it must have broke a nail in the grip oh my god got it keep going together identify we feel the fan keep going and broke and broke a nail in the crib mmm she left and I to swing I did a thorough examination of every dog I've done thorough shits we're bad at that we just have to admit we're really bad at thorough investigations so wait so did the Dove or the second chick comes over and as God would have it nails on top of the pillow me and surety do our thing yeah yeah yeah in the process she breaks a nail right hmm puts their hand up children - you watch chicks think we care about that so you put it on the same position that broke the other nail look over to the right oh my god and let me tell you there's not a lie outside that is when you just you just gotta take it like you sure design look like a puzzle piece this is your ring no yeah your nail tech tried to freak this one yeah yeah yeah you can hold different color yeah he's got you at the mercy of that boy yeah nah you just got another way of life to be at the mercy of a girl and the judge those two and the girl might be scarier in the judge in certain situations you're with us know it just depends on what the situation is as long as many facing those jail time for reals like your face a little hitter spit be right you see they killed y'all for that too sorry our own here that's for what no no I figured it out more or I know no disrespect to you tamal audience Amal from I don't care if I disrespect them no disrespect sent me a little disrespect is coming but don't be offended by it never I think that the are part of part of our listenership that adores you so much I don't think they're bright well because they haven't been through traumatic relationships yes I was insane that means they're not bright because they haven't been through relationship I just don't think I don't think they just understand [ __ ] that we be saying they do they just said no woman has ever spit on them but I saw how you applied to those comments it was leading yeah it was some glass no some gas like oh my self parked and Rory weren't trying to normalize women spitting on men hmm or saying they were right they were disrespectful you were trying to normalize it when I said I could call 90 guys he was like I can't and almost 200 people even women with like what type of women are y'all date I wouldn't make it normal that I think that at least 35% of your 90 is gonna share a similar experiences no I still don't think it's normal to be spit or spat on not several but it happened no not again I think you letting on I don't think it happens that's it no no y'all was definitely trying to make it seem like I was bugging and that was a normal thing that's exactly what I would try no I think you're buggin that you don't see that happening not in settings I don't see it happening I was just saying we're more than y'all was saying it like yeah uh like yeah it happens I'm like that's not a normal thing and then y'all we're trying to say like it was it happens like it's a normal thing that's all I was saying like that's not normal I don't mean this in a disrespectful way to end by a woman yes it is a nice bit right now yeah but both of those are still like a lot of people have never been to no [ __ ] like that that's all I'm saying like yeah we can't say that because something happens - okay but let me put it this way I don't think it should have been painted as a respect level to some degree it is that's all it is somebody snitched on you to have no respect for you that's the highest level of disrespect what is that sir what is what is okay let's take it to this remember when I hold Jay Beyonce salons thing happen right whatever was about we have no idea we could speculate right in that moment of Solange being pissed and hitting Jade kicking at him and all that right the whole disc speckle thing the one thing she I guarantee you she never thought about in that moment was spitting on Jay is that that may not be her sauce and maybe in Solange as a respectable person it's not about that here we go respect no no this is Ron say you having disrespect and respecting me are two totally different no you just not a bright person and I've made it not bright women listen okay so they've spit on me so and you've dated women that don't respect themselves and or don't respect that's what I'm no they would still respect national respect cause everything is on you they don't they don't respect you let me just put that out there I'm old and you just me on this one if somebody spits on you they have no respect for you they have no respect for you - have no fear you - have no fear of repercussions they don't respect you people have done plenty of things that feared you just out of pure emotion and immaturity no a person would never spit on you so I know I know you say if someone's messing you that they don't respect you sounds like a really good idea and I I want to say I agree with you but some women some people some people are extremely immature and they get really emotional and they don't know how to take those emotions and express them so when they flip out they do things they wouldn't even agree with okay now before you before so they could respect me let me just jump in and say and that just in what both of you gentlemen explore is why I agree with both of you the chick that is doing the spit if you spit at me trust and believe this will be the last time I am saying that's a fact you have zero respect for me yeah I think that that I but I agree with worry where I don't necessarily think the girl in every instance was thinking that way yeah I'm always leaving saying that I'm no no if you spit I'm done and that's been the case in my life everybody for me again after that move a and if you didn't know it that I will be the person to teach you that that is not how you treat a man let me know person and I understand what both y'all saying but let me say this if a person spits on you I don't care how mad the state of mind for that thought to even enter their head they do not respect you that's period I don't think because I don't think a situations where it was I think I'm gonna injure and immaturity did and they didn't know how to express those feelings no and it happened no spit none you could swing and all that [ __ ] yeah that's you know whatever you do shows that you haven't learned how to properly deal with whatever is on your plate right now and that's from your household how you were raised your parents it's just a lot how it's about you've been accustomed to problem-solving if you come from a home where all you ever seen your parents do is fight and your mom spit kick punch swing at your dad and your dad do whatever was going on that may be all you know so you may be right you the result is you not respecting me but the exact nature here is you don't respect yourself but that's what I said respect it comes down to respect they don't respect it was an indictment against the man no no no I still feel like no no I said I said they either don't they don't respect themselves and or they don't respect you bottom line that's all but it all stems from a level of disrespect that is the highest level of disrespect yeah and I'm obviously I'm not a disagreeing with you I just think there's a bunch of layers see what that behaves you could move a house on fire while you're inside of it no that's that's that's different that's not that has that's rage that's not I mean disrespect to you if a woman stands in front of you where you better pizza and spits at you boom she doesn't respect you more the only time when you said that about a momadunc the onus don't leap are I get mad at you i watch the news every morning and without fail a couple is there's Dane dangerous activity happening between a couple every morning every that's because there's no respect between those two oh no I know there's no hell I'm only arguing that there is worse [ __ ] that can go on from lack of respect outside of spinning you know I don't think so to me somebody spit no use the highest level disdain and when what will you admit that you have a limited scope that on certain things yeah because I think when you get that invested with somebody and maybe you feel disrespected on their actions you'll reply with what you think is disrespect to women know who to get can in can spit oh okay how about this you guys I want to go and throw clothes on the floor in Kanye's house why and I can't be alone nice house why do you want to throw let's go I watched the let's go and scuff up some of those walls it goes too clean for you it's pretty clean is that the word I use clean I wouldn't be an ideal place to throw a house party with blue jeans on it's super clean I just bare its [ __ ] like it's called called minimalistic Joe it's called minimalistic home I just don't understand it white people can now just take broke-broke [ __ ] and make it rich no broke people don't have furniture now y'all can't take it and make it elitist now fam you took five photos from what were they yet are something digest I'm broke what he wants he's trying to have his home look Larry this he's trying to look like a psych ward like art gallery or it's like war or they colored the video that way you wasn't there mm-hmm what are you talking about Oh you've never done a white balance on a camera Erickson help me out here like they could have [ __ ] it up I'm dying to go just pencil all over that [ __ ] that'll really [ __ ] no the funny thing was the way North was acting as a cute kid that she is I was like damn kids gotta ruin all that why she no trusting believe they know which room not to go in there was have a room so that was kind of my point to Joe I think I think they showed the cooler cooler portions of their house these are the rooms that the kids know we it's a lock on the door yeah they know that they [ __ ] is [ __ ] all over the place in the kids in the kitchen they crib is dope though god Kim timeout we had when I saw it as soon as I saw it I knew it was my dream house yeah just a empty white house no they saw her from the outside when they were walking past and you know you can always see the mansions when you walk down the street in LA they're never covered by trees I don't know they're good about Hollywood I'm being sarcastic [Laughter] can you believe that have a jacuzzi that was the funniest part of that I want to say mocking his well I'll tell you what happened in interview because I watched it she was saying they act it was one of those weird easy variety type pieces of when was the last time you used the pool and Kim was like I've never used the pool like I wanted to jacuzzi but we don't have one and then Kanye not the way you mock your girlfriend or your wife they say I can't believe you know the jacuzzi yeah he was he was making fun of what Kim said gotcha okay what needs to happen for y'all to get in your bath bag with a girl if I was Collier that's my bad who's he the bath you got to tub gotta be big enough no don't can't get it no small table with what right on par gonna have injury city in that tough little ass yes that's my swagman okay let's not argue about that what other uh what other factors need to be present for you to get your bathtub back what a chick you got a big enough bath how does the night need to be going for you to say you know what tonight's the night she looks stressed lavender Epsom salt it is soap soap on your back watch I'll do that every day cuz some song that's just a that's just to kick it getting a tub tonight that's the first that's the first date [ __ ] a vacation let's get in the tub what do you do after the bath bill dry off it's sexy time sexy time yeah I would believe so oh please about that time okay but some bathrooms are to cop feel to good Ngata [ __ ] and then to the bad part and not sometimes it happens in the tub that's another that's another way to have some sales to do my dick atha strong yes I would I would again handle shower sex in bathtub sex of the shower sizes not I'm really a man that even my big let me not do that I gotta be really into you from a dick to fight the current the current no it's a splash new vs. yes [ __ ] and the water only goes up into your face mommy that Benzino video he was smashing it about my word now you wait we'll get well can I say to make you believe now word is bond my mother all my grandmom's Oh like what does she does oh that was back in like yeah mm I was told the source no no this was great like after love a hip hop like the first season he was in oh this is the whole party I was born in 1990 more I wasn't around for this I didn't YouTube the Benzino no no butts in the tub it was like a tape that he recorded what a girl is oh yeah when he was come on you that tub was Wow small yeah I remember the money one walked out the tub I remember her hanging onto a shower curtain no no no this was way before that no guys before that yeah get a kill machine on Twitter for this reason we tried to pull off the bathtub [ __ ] but I was trying to be smooth like you run it let me slip into something more comfortable [Laughter] you put a small chance to get it up my [ __ ] don't do that with it with the Sailor emblem god you're Quicksilver swim trunks let me go slip into something more gonna come in here and share anything what are you share we just shared our stories molenberg they said not if I get a big bath you know Bronx and queens I just said I was on Bergen Avenue in Jersey understand now bro I'm waiting space in a bathtub you need space you can't be in a small bathtub tronic you sexy that's not enough taking a shower but girl like yeah a bath you need space bro you need space that's very key very low room yeah but in the event that you do have space yeah you're a little Einstein notes I know everyone in this room has [ __ ] on a single bed before I can't get in a bathtub yeah that's way better you can but you would rather not I didn't want to [ __ ] on the single bed but that's what I had way different I'm talk about a single doing some things on a twin throw [ __ ] balling parts being the bougie boys [ __ ] on the California of course I've had sex on a twin bed before like of course but but I do it now if I didn't have that I've had options no now if you have options no get a bigot oh so wait till the bigot up is available or just cause it's overrated I'm gonna live where I think this is a good time if you dance I was going to earlier you ever get them again no I don't know I mean worrying even talk I would love a friend I would love a man who respectfully bring a therapist for an episode to talk to me specifically I go to therapy so her and I would talk about the same thing we would talk about off-air mm-hmm I would like for her to talk to you about what life you want your therapist to talk to me about life hmm okay sure okay I think it'll be good episode okay yeah we'll do life we'll do relationships we'll do we'll get to the bottom of everything is your therapist Oh a white lady or blood she's a black woman black moon okay cool Joe actually introduced me to your on this podcast after your name was going so lovely you know we need a new therapist no she's great Jos therapist no absolutely not have you met Joe therapist no what's the problem I just don't want to sit what the therapist has been with Joe [Laughter] therapist on here we could find a therapist but I like her okay that's fine but this is Rory's therapist this is not Joe's therapist right now Joe hasn't said a word during this exchange no but she's she's giving you therapy before she has seen before okay yet no no no that's actually smart yeah though we need and we need to do the houses dance new thing Joe has talked about you in the sessions you think about I have I'm just saying I would want a therapist I would actually rather therapist has never been with any of us okay I'd like an find one of those yeah I'm not mad at that yeah but you are open to the idea of it it's just a conversation yeah mom we don't have to use mine but that's what I told parks when you say that we'll get to the bottom of whatever is festering with whom eat I don't know what do I have festival I don't know by the way so we see with this therapist that I think that there's something festering in a therapist like no he's just he's aware of who he is he's comfortable he is and that will go for y'all this this random woman that just come here talk to me that will do it - yeah of course I'm honest with ya I'm just there's a really a third I don't think you're not being honest with us I just think there's more to it I think that job just can't under you're not you're not lying to us I just think there's more to it no there's nothing to it I really just honestly love being single I don't know why that that's such like a mind-blowing thing to you I love me and single I love being able to get up and go as our please and not have to acts you know I got to go here for the weekend door open yeah like I like to do but don't get it twisted I do want eventually a family and a wife and [ __ ] like that but right now mom live my life and I don't think we've ever said you wanting to be single is weird to be like the thing that y'all think it stems from like why am i single why do I cuz I just I wasn't I haven't been single for like 20 years no oh that's what I like the past like five years so I don't I don't I don't understand what the big people's possible that's just I don't know why y'all really feel like cuz man Rory might say that something's festering for you to say yes there means this there I said is there no beer but what do you I think it's festering to say that I wouldn't I don't know I want to be there for you regardless of what it is you ever there I'll take it deeper maybe you don't know mmm I know me very well I know me to the core there's nothing there I just enjoy be like I got some people got to be in a relationship I'm not I don't know I don't have to be in a relationship I don't have to be that's just the only thing it's just that some people have to be I don't have to be uncomfortable it's an ID well that's not what I think you know get its well I have female friends I had a therapist would point that out there he's the one that keeps bringing up this relations yeah I don't think that that's what y'all need to be single I don't think it's weird at all though we were doing about the base foots about the way no but that seems to be which I keep thinking why something freshman like I don't get it but whatever okay I think I'd be good episode okay and then immediately after will do this room episode yes and then we'll cry sounds great well we have to get this done before mall relocates to Charlotte which is where I hear he's going I'm sorry I'm going what I might go with him because I like North Carolina because Julia's Randall's going to Charlotte is he I didn't know about that I didn't hear about that he didn't tell you these trade rooms yeah no I don't think he's going anywhere well that's a great segue for your insider trade deadline review give it to us what's happening speculations but I think I think a lot of teams will make a move I'm hearing that the Lakers are given to y'all work out I don't the thing on the side I'm though remember where you guys heard at first a lot of teams are gonna make a move you mean before the trade deadline on Thursday yeah I think Philly Philly is the one team that barstool is a Larry really the one thing to what they have to make a move they have to that [ __ ] I don't know what's going on over there but something has to happen they should be a way better team than what they are with that talent but I think people don't like each other and they don't want to say it look somebody got it Philly has been picked to win the finals for the past four years index nothing has happened anyway Liz cuz this has been too much of a sports podcast - yo come on man - your booze is beefing now Oh rust and post Malone Oh defend it whose side you gonna take them both for the listeners that don't know rust said and I'm paraphrasing and gaslighting tell us what rusted when being asked about being a culture vulture he said well post Malone came out with braids and being Allen Iverson and looked biracial and then he put on cowboy boots and a cowboy hat you make the call so there's defensive culture Walter was calling I'm done this is a bad pair it was a good conversation and he's wasn't really shooting at him I know some other something some other thing anyway why can't post Malone via culture vulture and be dope I'd love to is that ever a thing angry when the guys the Colby Bulger that's a good point like alright either Cody Roach got it all right well let me let me really quote him so it's not like I'm bullsh in here now I mean that's a fair example because I do think that is an interesting thing to look from the lens of where you came in with braids and golds to the point people think you're mixed and now you know you drink Bud Light and wear cowboy boots and stuff I don't think that poses a culture well well why not that would Russ's tryna Lutz I do too and I like I like post music rising but I'm not that's because he came in with a certain look and now he cut his hair that he's a culture I'm not gonna say that that to me can you hate on a culture vulture sure yeah you can hate on not a culture I'm not really a post below fan per se but I don't do use culture vulture you can the opposite of hate okay so when you do that and then downplay rappers lyrics and the meaning behind them and then move on to put on a cowboy hat then what are you parks I don't know mall did you bother yummy remix and if you did was it yummy by the yummy yummy I'm here with an ask thought-provoking questions did mall buy the yummy remix no I didn't I don't even hear it actually no you did oh yeah everything was fired chances album what do you think take it away roar the Cubs comes up firing is it roll of a plane thumbs up firing here's the throw to the plate and he say at the plate we will have a challenge I'm just I'm gonna do the opposite opposite of Jogi I'm gonna start with hate I'm gonna start with that let's something when you do that it lets them know where you gonna end up yeah oh no we're coming in love we're coming in love uh it's way too [ __ ] long and there's mad records that sound the saying that you could have just canceled out like we didn't need this record three times but you guys Oh chance to wrap her a [ __ ] apology that album is not that [ __ ] bed he has two records and a half that talked about his wife like I thought the meme [ __ ] was funny to you guys home an apology that albums not that bad that Alma's not that [ __ ] bad it's way too long there's way too many features he doubled up on a bunch of records that we could have cut down but that I was not that terrible y'all made it sound like it was the worst album ever that [ __ ] was not that bad you [ __ ] the hot shower [ __ ] no all the all the singles he tried to do I was like fam did the dark record the men make [ __ ] was all right gooshie she was I uh I put your phone in the shower talk to a girl no it sounds dangerous he never risked your life this altar girl yes been a mad project buildings I should definitely Bend a3b way me way morning times than I should have oh yeah y'all Oh chance an apology I understand that the timeline took it and ran with the jokes I thought they were funny to that I was not that bad sorry guys and that's not the safe answer because the safe answer is that is trash because that's what anyone said so you took the unsafe answer mmm safe fun so you took the risky Road the riskier oh the risky chance road you took the condom old with chance while we're on music I meant to ask you guys last podcast to predict uh Wayans numbers I know he's slated to go to number one did you ask us I know I didn't I meant to I'm sorry and I think now it came back he's projected anywhere between one hundred nine hundred twenty-five grand mmm copies move how do y'all feel about that sounds about right yeah yeah I'm with that funny thing is I probably don't one higher I might've said 150 yeah especially with 24 songs yeah that's respectable yeah very so bad hell yeah that's really good numbers with no promotional video nothing what do you guys think about Wayne saying he has no idea how the beef between him and push you're starting I totally believe him I think Wayne he said that on drink champs yeah O'Shea he was on some I don't know I don't know I can't believe that we don't even know from what my understanding it's over bait I'm sorry the clothing line who Ward first that's that's what my understanding is a believe that we don't is I never I never did ask but yeah there was never clear definitive reason why yeah why why it happened so I I could we leave to the public release to the publisher I can believe in Wayne at his work yeah I'm taking away his word of not knowing cuz I don't think I personally just don't think there's any way because I the Wayne is somebody who I think if he knew he would say it like you he mad cuz whatever whatever but I don't think Wayne is playing the media game of neither I'm not gonna say why this beef started like I think Wayne would say exactly what happened it'll live in his old world in a good way yeah and on top of that I agree parks I'll also say well we won't say Wayne has done a lot of [ __ ] drugs in his life I'm sure he doesn't remember also true I'm sure push I'm sure push as a legitimate push a reason but I don't think Wayne remembers that's very yeah but their push respond to that yeah yeah I don't think so a bunch of laughing emojis no yet do you think he will I think you should therefore yeah the beef was about is winning we do need new beefs know I think the thing beats the way they play on now is super corny actually this came out in what year 2012 but I don't think it would go like 2011 summer yeah Tom's I don't I don't need closure on this beef I need a different beat yeah I'm with you no no just a whole order something but so whole new rat beef I want this [ __ ] - what was the reason behind it I would like to know honestly know I like the veterans moving like veterans and allowing the younger people to do whatever it is they're doing because sometimes when you find out why beefs happen and why they started that says a lot about the people that are in the beach good or how serious it really is to begin with yeah like Wade that started because of that can you look at the person throws over bait then yeah yeah a Wayne and Wayne and push beef has always been interesting to me because because of what I know of the both of them which is they are both men of a lot of integrity for sure typically then integrity washes out two other the other person's integrity and everything's peace or we both are so strong in this attribute that we beef right I just can't understand how so much integrity legs are so long standing of such long-standing of a beef as it yeah yeah I get it did you guys hear nods featuring NAS I did hear it didn't at the Grammy slow so why didn't you guys say anything about it it was on my list we didn't get to it whatever week that well that's good to it right now buddy I didn't want I was gonna say to off-mike mole but uh that was as soon as we broke I was gonna ask if you guys saw the percocet Shane I'm not Jackie well Rory hid the group Chen said you guys did you see Cuddy's new chain the group chat and said did you see Co Roy the Cutty kid cudi kid that's funny guys you know Cuddy designed that chain all on his own that's a good chain it's a really good jam but no I did not go in the group chat and say yo did you see Cuddy's chain okay we'll give us some Naz and Naz reaction uh I'm gonna be that guy here uh not now as the real nas you don't need to be doing that he had and he had one number one single I know is the biggest record ever buy whatever streaming numbers I don't you don't deserve an osteopath him y'all can call this hatin but no you you you caught you caught a really really big single man artists have done that you're not allowed to be on stage with nas I think nas is try to give his blessings to the younger artists for better or worse I think he is - I just don't think I should go to someone that just has a single here's his name also so but I think that's why you know that now I get the marketing right I just I don't I'm cool I'm not buying it I'm cool mad mad new artists deserve an Oscar and it's not him fellow so whole rappers deserve an Oscar I would love to hear that I just don't think yeah it just I'm cool I'm cool on it yeah yeah laughs I would so I'll be with some [ __ ] but no is it sounded fine but that's not really my point I just come on it sounds like a scooter Barona I do yes it just sounds like an idea from somebody no you know what you know what to me makes collabs dope when you could honestly see the artist at a collab and like they really would [ __ ] with each other away from just the music like then he actually be caught hanging out just it gather like it comes out on record - yeah you can hear like yeah and nas and na CX would never be eating a slice in New York City channel somewhere it wouldn't happen so that's why I don't the music to me is just an extension of it I just think more more resume wise like I have no issue with lo nas X I like the old sound road should I get all that it's cool I [ __ ] with him but I just don't I don't know maybe it's the hip-hop in me just I just don't think he'd know just needs a nas verse like the best one you have one record it was the biggest record ever cool I'm with you I support you you just don't don't follow up with a nas verse the biggest the best the biggest and best collapse happen usually it's an extension of the relationship if they want to work with each other you I don't even think little nas ex really wanted to work with not know what that's a that's my new [ __ ] that I'm off for the rest of the year that's how hurt I am it with the fan said about me so my question about everybody that we bring up now just randomly asked you do y'all think that little knowledge X has is probably some of it not all of it probably around the same 50% yeah probably same as mace got it I would imagine nothing nas had all his palm he's always he's been very vocal about not having it searched though searched you know a pretty good deal with us from my understanding I just think the people just didn't like your do you put your stance on it when it came to puff that's one that's one and further than that I don't think the people really understand all that goes into the of course royalties and split conversation of course not but that's why most that's how most of us get robbed in the first place they don't teach this in school your parents are not gonna teach it to you and the person that's doing business won't teach it to you Joe they don't teach us taxes in public school think they're gonna teach you pub yeah and for some reason I wasn't you know what I wasn't bringing my contracts back to my mom for her to look over because she wouldn't have understood them either no matter is a lot of artists got to go out and make the first mistake the first few mistakes on their own which is how you learn which is how you know how to rectify she actually mall that's actually a part of my beef not beef let me not use that word so people think I'm keeping again but that was part of my argument with mace how most artists are able to get their pub back or the other side of their pub that they got rid of or sold or whatever is they have to work themselves to that position we all get [ __ ] in the front and if you work hard enough and have that great of a lace relationship with whoever owns the pub then you can get your [ __ ] back I think I think but hold on hold on let me finish mace left hmm that is to be accounted for in Joe's book mace promised and album on the same caliber as [ __ ] Harlem world and dipped and [ __ ] learnt about it on the air that is not presenting the best possible scenario to argue getting your [ __ ] back for and again I'll have no details - this ain't smoke nobody about it but in my experience that's how that goes future needs make these [ __ ] [ __ ] do whole deals without they pub and at the end of it once they've won cuz you have to win you leverage it back the same way you leveraged it off I understand also add that we may not if he doesn't agree to a 50-50 pub deal or whatever it was or giving up a portion of the pub we may never get maize you understand like a a lot of people wait well you I have your pub or you owe your whole 100% that's how I do but that's how I started the combo last week and I got killed I swear maybe our articulating myself wrong and people didn't understand but I started this with hey if if at the beginning world comes out if those two artists creators sit down and have a pub split talk I think is gonna end just that way fifty-fifty yeah but I think that the big issue was people felt like people felt like were you know then I was ignoring the wrong I was only looking at puff as a businessman and saying it's okay because he's a black businessman ya know that's who and puffs history with his artists there's a lot of artists that were under puff have come out years before and said that you know they're publishing was [ __ ] up you know they weren't getting they were getting robbed yeah but a lot but stop because a lot of artists will say that when they just don't have 50% of their pub or when they leverage their pub off and now we see what it's worth later on burn man gets that rap because [ __ ] were saying yo he took everything hmm we don't have any of our pub well we don't have any of the royalties that are coming I wouldn't have [ __ ] sobered man I understand that about puff didn't get killed like that the whole time the locks killed him at some point and then it's all rectified it and there's a relationship there so now this is another one his artists just you know along the same narrative yeah but at some point if we don't hear from the other side because in these pub situations and I don't get into this again anymore yeah but all I was saying is from my own personal experience having zero to do with puff I think there are some things to that mace puff publishing story that mace didn't say absolutely and but but again I'm speaking for the people and I think they just felt like three sides every story you just didn't say you know stop robbing each other stop doing fucked-up deals with [ __ ] cuz you know they don't know the business especially when they're black and you're a black man that's all it was I think that was the bigger issue that people had what it was like yo we need to stop doing fucked-up business with each other they already do it with us so we don't need to do it with each other because we can't fight ourselves and fight you know me it just didn't you know it's funny it's the same somehow it correlates to the same thing I ended up telling verb yeah Jo is always on the side of the creator but some of these creators are indeed businessmen and are coming and are creating other things to help leverage something that they already have I was telling verb that that is the battle rappers problem y'all keep wrapping and wrapping and wrapping and wanting to get paid from rap when ain't no money in rap you have to start doing something else so you can leverage it however you deem fit mmm there hey I'm getting out of here and a lot of with their deals I want to get any pockets but they're getting paid a fee to not own what they are rapping on that stage the other two points that make me mad about the puffs [ __ ] is one even if even if you felt that puff was doing that even if you're correct let's say you're correct take the Jo cape off mace is writing everything he's saying allegedly mmm that was not the way to go about that at that time on the heels of such a powerful speech to erase this Grammy Board that needed to hear that and there aren't but so many artists that are gonna be able to carry that message to the people that need it that was one and to be clear whatever we want to say about puffs business practices as far as rap pomp is not in the rap business yes no we ain't what you mean because PUF is in the Ciroc alcohol TV as well as did a reunion toilet you can't say that but still and will always will be in the rat business he is the rat business you can never say that because let's be clear I don't care how much I don't care how successful puff is how much money goes on to make one of our focus maybe in other people are always and forever gonna view him as a rapper and if we're talking publishing no matter what you're in the rap business because you have that publishing like no matter what you're in the rap business you own rap publishing you have it because of your past deals yeah I guess he still is if the mace stuff were to be true against someone who were who was actively pursuing new acts to continuously put them in that type of deal then that conversation should be prevalent right now listen you you were talking about somebody who to our knowledge at least well is not searching for an act yes yes yes he is right now and you could call it a TV business but it's still a blend of both he's trying to do making the band again they're they're actively searching for groups and people right now for making the man so yes is that the TV business and sure why is it gonna end up being the music business yeah and why wouldn't he should always stay in the music business absolutely I've argued in y'all kill me a million times I think puff has the greatest air in music ever and I've been killed for it he should always be in the music business we're arguing opinions right now just what he's no no no no we're not arguing opinions he's doing making the band that's not an opinion making the band is an MTV Viacom thing and what's gonna turn into what a music a music do eventually come out it yeah music deal will come out of it how many albums came out and now now I don't do that cuz Danny came sold over a million day26 out albums making the band actual joint now and y'all argue with me it leaves our public to believe that I'm saying something I'm not so let me say my point and then say what you're saying yes an album will come out of a Viacom deal because Viacom has it in a contract I'm sure that if you win this is what comes out of it for you and we'll split up and their deal with puff we are assuming tells puff that he has to oversee that end of the process whatever splits are in that paperwork are Viacom splits the same way all of those music shows that are similar that promised that in the end those terms are created from the television side there is not a music person there dictating that yes his name is Puff Daddy no he's not fam pop just said he was overseeing it because he is a face he is a billboard to making the vision puff is not touching anything music relate that contradicts over you said prior telling you something I'm not asking I'm telling you what I know when you're debating me MTV has been digging up everything that MTV has ever done and attaching a face to it and all of their plans are MTV plans that's what I'm saying yo MTV raps is coming back real whatever that other [ __ ] is all the [ __ ] they make success making the band don't run out wait let me fit into a bunny it's not far from that that's MTV saying we're bringing back making the band this is how it will work this is the paperwork we're getting the face you come attach it so puff Suleiman time to do making the band anymore and that's what I keep saying you have to see through smoke and mirrors you have to see through when somebody in the industry is just doing some [ __ ] and how they're doing it no that's not puff in the music business that's where we disagree cuz I just I agree with everything you just said up and so that's not part of the music business then go dig up the end of the cane and see what the music business is see what they did with numbers with the music doing great for the strengths of making the bit that's why MTV has it there any distribution will come from bad boy music I'm telling you that Viacom at some point one of them little girls from one of them reality shows came up with a multi-million dollar energy drink or some [ __ ] and TV people said that won't ever happen again we're gonna protect against that that cardi B [ __ ] that happened where you just gonna come on TV and leave and pop off that wasn't a music person to put a stop to it of course then what are you arguing love and hip-hop is not a music show I know it says I know losing person she was she she ain't in the music business no more that's why cardi B left and had nothing to do a moan afterward by his argument if Mona has that in place with Love & Hip Hop Viacom and Mona and they have that in place in the contract buy your puff argument that makes Mona music person no no she made a mistake of not tying herself to cardi the way that cardi popped puff not gonna make that mistake puff is in the music business whatever group comes out of this making the band [ __ ] it's gonna be part of puff in the music business you are wrong no it ain't wrong we can move on but you're wrong and I'm still putting out music ain't the music business huh is not putting out music puff is putting his name on something that has music business we're talking about business if I attach my name is some [ __ ] and have zero to do with it you're telling me that at the music business cool my interpretation of that is totally different and Publix not think that puff is not hero to doing puff with somewhere getting a massage in his la home and got a call that said yo we bring him back making the band do you want a rock with a neck we cut you a check I think yes that's how I think happened I haven't spoken anybody but what you said I don't view it to be ass I'm in the music business when yes the TV business as I started I started my argument with saying you'll probably call this TV business if Mona am essentially essentially this album is gonna come out and that becomes the music business and puff is gonna have to do with it there's moaning it's gonna say Puff Daddy presents whatever the name of the [ __ ] group they come out with with making it a band it's gonna say Puff Daddy prevents and it's whatever his name is pity now whatever you wants to give is going to say that because that's the music business deal is that Viacom and puff have in place that's not that's not a music deal so please somebody chiming oh it's one of you looking fire commas in the music business is coming from it it's a music show music will be put out if you're trying to tell me Viacom is down the music business fly to me right now just wouldn't lie to me right now say Viacom is not to me what I'm saying for sure definitely like you out of your mind I'm here about to tell me right now same things but is just different ways against semantics yeah it ain't semantics Viacom is in the music business for sure that's not there's not a debate here there's not a semantics here and a business not even a conversation you know why Rory sounds like an idiot because if you knew just how much money television made versus what music made that's not to debate and that's not it's my debate because I'm saying that as a caveat to our television show and contract and production just as the winner a you win put out Mount great go do it deal with whoever but the money is in two totally different ballparks so yes but by that definition television is in the music business because they put that there well I'm on the brought to broaden it no they don't give a [ __ ] what happens to that album then we can't album sold and guess what it was over why if we're in the music business why why why how can they put together a group they come out do double platinum and we never hear from again if we're in the music business that is my response to that it's not the you - that's YouTube in the music business yes okay so then not only one of his conversation why what did that prove what did you just prove you ask me a man regular question and said you don't want to talk anymore five humans in the music business newly there's YouTube music there's a music person at the head of YouTube the same way Apple had a music person missing my point miss my point stop right there YouTube now is a newly into the music business do you think YouTube gets most of their revenue from the new YouTube music platform one day they might but right now is their visual business where they get their most ad revenue from yes so Viacom even though it's not their number one revenue stream Devin's music is still so much part of they [ __ ] like you can't just say that the music business is the business of selling music Viacom the biggest thing at one point was a music television for MTV it's there in the music business yeah they no longer really and strive to that so a music television but it's it is music television convoluting points TV needs to be in the business in the interest of music because you have to put musicians on TV that does not make you in the music business yes it do are still in the business of television your bottom line no this money it doesn't matter how about that is definitely one of those one in the same that was a good point you had a little means I say I was ready to box out more boys and nuts I know yeah I came not my only point right now to buy a comic so I gotta do then you just so you just told me I could get a deal I gotta go and make it in Bantam put out an album well I told me I can do that you just told me I could do that go to no so you would be going to Viacom you just [ __ ] you just told me that Viacom is putting us out mouth what are you talking about buy a console your fire sale what's that word you gas like bio to record labels the funny part about all of it but whatever right well that's what I'm saying you can tell me that they're putting an album out from Viacom and then tell me I can't go get a deal at Viacom cuz you just told me I could if I go to making the band join that group cuz they're putting out puffs not putting out Viacom is so you're lying where you are not as stupid as you sound right now and so when you said your point you try no you didn't you sound like an idiot and I never sound like that much of an idiot if you are going to try to join making the band you are going to try to get a part of a TV show and if that's going for that album know if you win that's what I'm saying if I make the baton if you win no because you attempting to make the band is our television show you just not listening to me because I said when I started we can go back you're gonna say it's a TV thing yes it is eventually that album is gonna come out absolutely so we're in the music business and you said Viacom has all the splits with puff on that so yes I guess I could get a deal according to you they with Viacom so they in the music business I'm using your words not mine so you can't call me stupid it's your words unless you're calling Rory stupid that's it that puff is not in the music business anymore puff is 100 sending music he has no choice but it's a small portion of his it's not there's no [ __ ] choice his main focus and let's go let me end with that let me end with that Rory because we may just have different views of what being businesses like technically I'm an amusing business you are 1,000% the music business tell me why no matter what when it comes to this it's great example you just um I don't build the perfect I don't want to push it it isn't because I want to put your business out there you just told me I have an open contract with Empire that's open my pump deals are done my vested interest is not in music though I received money from music you just told me you negotiated and sold a pump it up think to a European [ __ ] you're in the music business you're in the music business like I don't know what you need more than being in the music business or not that's the music biz alone is that your number one revenue or focus not at all you you you got it that just you in the music business the difference for me that now I understand some insects what you're saying you in the music business okay like plain and simple you have no choice because I approve the splits on pump it up yeah did you want to negotiate it my Burt my definition of any music business is you have a vested interest you're actively creating music something music yes actively creating music is not being actively creating I said you have a vested interest in music yes Viacom is putting the album out they don't give a [ __ ] about music do you think puff does if he puts his name to this making the band no legacy no I think and we can call the band and a half of them say that and I don't want to keep talking about this because I don't want to get puffing shop with the band but but I don't about you man I think we can come up in it we can call it a bed and everything you don't get [ __ ] and he didn't give a [ __ ] no I don't want the new band if you don't give a [ __ ] and I don't notice so don't get me in trouble ok at the band about the bad a lot of success yeah like you can't say cuz day26 and Danny Caine I know it's like a running joke they may say mad numbers to me some good music they did ok and that if you're about to tell me puff at that especially that time when music was able to download and Danny Caine was doing those numbers if puff didn't care come on net like now who's doing some is of course he did his name was attached to it he's gonna that's what I'm saying cares he's a person that cares and it one ya know fish in it but at one and content and he abided by whatever deal was there we correct you one put it out it's puff so it one and he flex yeah puff has done that a lot so they chronically trust that's the long that's the longevity and puffin in his into somewhat his genius why you gotta give up oh I'm now arguing that part listen let's move on man cuz I came for puff enough please please please please please please but and I don't even see this escape it's a little bit of business it's tricky [ __ ] just a little short do Radke but it's not like a full Superman okay what else is important to me not the business puff is definitely important music for sure what's Viacom doing got me up yo y'all gonna come up here and start sharing things I have a deal with Viacom and puff okay so what the [ __ ] am i up here tell them how far call me puff up anything man take that you [ __ ] stupid ass fans ooh now Joe got fired he real that be the [ __ ] though I see where it was coming from yeah [ __ ] out here you only real when you fail you never real when you succeed it's a good point baby snippet heard it who heard it so that was always pushing the kid his kid around in the shopping cart Allah I didn't hear that I did hear the pop smoking quavo sniff it that was fire pops well gonna keep making the same song with the same drums and it's gonna sound fire every time so you skip the baby talk to say that about pop smoke it was snippet there's so much snippet I didn't hear the UH baby snippet Oh what's up tell us about it so I told you what's possible I'm telling I'm taking your pop smoke analysis and applying it to the baby now great I don't see how I used to keep dinza Buffalo needs a change of the sound no drama same flow no I said the opposite I said he's gonna continue to make that song and I'm gonna you like it okay and then he added quavo and it sounded fire the baby is - yeah yeah same same yeah yeah like I said the opposite so possible it sounded fire hip-hop do you think so demanding anymore happening and yeah let's let's keep in a book this is always a beautiful party she has a shopping cart in the crib I don't know if y'all I don't know if you I just skip past that but uh especially now cuz they they have the thing on them where once you get past the the doors opening like the shopping cart shut down you know has you know how you give it up in the supermarkets were nobody wanna walk out here like not family that my see now you a preferred customer here yeah yeah so good let us know what you finish well before we got out of music I did want to say rest in peace to Jay Scott of ASAP mob probably best known as as the ASAP mobs DJ but but so much more than that great producer I know managed a lot of them within the ASAP camp and also the lifestyle dude which I think kind of gets not the best credit it should get of you really just out here living and people are grabbing their wraps and their fashion and everything that we love about your crew from you but just because you don't rap you don't get the credit for it so I think Jay Scott's legacy is is much more than maybe the average fan may not know but but rest in peace to him prayers to his family prayers to New York City he was loved by everyone that even was around in the past ten years so yeah Morrow just goes out there as a crew yeah now for having to endure losses this way yeah it's tough and I know you had some health complications before so it you know I don't think it was the the super shock that maybe some of their past tragedies have been but still you know it's rough at someone at that age to have to pass but yeah prayers though ASAP crew yeah um for sure in the family yes family friends fans yeah and uh close friends of mine that were closer with him said just took a cool fly do like I mean that everything we love about ASAP mob and like what they represent kind of the you know the got they shift from him like like he was that do so uh so rest in peace for sure mm-hm you know rest in peace for sure um what else is left Monique versus Oni is over Marant versus Steph is left I'll leave that for mall I love John Moran but he got it you gotta chill out you got to chill out together yeah body were you down-and-out [ __ ] come at you boy [ __ ] come at you when you down and I tell me what's going on with this let's go there from be clear John Moran will cook steps muffin sea bass for me I love John Marais y'all know that I've you got us just slow down you know I don't we watched van Clete give Steph Curry to business we've seen that with our own eyes we did see it they took they took curry off of Van Cleave but stuff is what do y'all think is gonna happen if Steph Curry do trimaran you know [ __ ] Fred blank leave me yes now Fred he who he worked out in the finest [ __ ] I love and of course we know John Moran will get cooked by Steph Curry oh yeah I mean that's not even a question cook each other positive one ball no wanna be a little more well done yeah you want to come out the kitchen fast yeah so they're fighting over andre iguodala now wanting to be a part of the Memphis Grizzlies and saying that and if the Memphis Grizzlies orchestrate where he's traded to if it's not one of the teams that he listed and he will indeed sit out and the young players on Memphis have a problem with that daaaaamn Brooks is the one that spoke up yeah Dillon Brooks whatever's now I don't know how to pronounce it but he spoke up and said yeah I can't wait for us to trade him so we can flex up and play him and show him what Memphis is about and then John Moran retweeted that and in Steph Curry instant snapped a picture of eggy with a championship trophy saying what would a quiet ammos you like just let him talk and then Morant insta snapped a picture of Kevin Durant holding the trophy saying yeah just let me talk with the emojis of course that's how to communicate it that is how the kids communicate well not just saying step raise a kid which all of that says Steph Curry is not kidding it if we're putting jokes to the side then there's some things that I anticipate John Moran and Donnellan Brooks just don't understand about a 17 year and be a veteran who has rings who's accomplished who's done everything the team's have asked him to do and now you're you're you're playing for your time now you're playing for championship yeah yeah fin if I'm a rookie I'm shutting the [ __ ] up about anything Steph Curry says shut up I do like conversation like the dog and Moran I like Tom sometimes the dog went into something else and getting the dog is a puppy now no no I like him wanted to be aggressive but dude come on man like it's Steph Curry relax well John Moran went on to say I'm a fan of Steph oh I've been a fan of staff absolutely disrespect finished I ain't scared and maybe the chants out no he should be scared but you should that's all so don't say because Steph is is og no no it's not it's not a og thing you should just be quiet on certain things he didn't have to post that picture Katie I'm with more certain things just be quiet just just relax just relax cuz this can go really bad no it can't go this can get really bad Steph ain't on the court you want to sign I'd be back on the comb your [ __ ] what's name is sneaker I don't know what's name of his shoes though the dad shoot seven days all right what else is going on Oprah versa nope reverses Monique Monique writes to Oprah do we have this much time dear open up really I don't keep saying I care about it because everything that monique is saying that Oprah needs to be said but I don't like when the right thing to do or say is rooted and salt and for me monique is salty about [ __ ] how Oprah treated her during the precious precious premier and when she wanted her promo across the country for free or whatever the [ __ ] you kept saying so this gets convoluted there but she goes on to say dear Oprah I felt compelled to write you this open letter after observing the disparity in the way that you seem to treat people who were accused of the same allegations you did an interview on the CBS Morning Show and were asked about Harvey Weinstein by Norah O'Donnell and you and you said as it pertained to him that you always try to look at the rainbow in the clouds whatever is the silver lining you also said if we make this all about Harvey Weinstein then we have lost the moment when you either are or were going to be a part of the documentary or Michael Jackson and Russell Simmons how is that not making it all about them Monique asks interestingly brother MJ was acquitted and deceased so how is he not off-limits she asks Russell and Harvey are accused of the same thing so in fairness how do you not support the accusers of both as you said you did with our s or you look for the silver lining for both like you said you did which H with HW the only difference between the two is their skin color and doesn't Harvey Weinstein have way more accusers question mark my personal experience with you and here we go she should just let out the person well she was cool I know the point that she's us ten speak to my personal experience with you as you've watched me as a black woman be accused of being difficult for not promoting precious internationally for Lionsgate at Lionsgate Tyler Perry is gay Tyler Perry and your request despite the fact that my deal was with Lee Daniels entertainment and how are you for black women when you hear Tyler on audio saying I was right and he was going to speak up but you or him still have not said a word when I was 16 and I met you at your local show in Baltimore I told you I wanted to be just like you when I grew up you responded you have to work really really hard my 16 year old self didn't know that you and your silence in the face of wrongdoing would make my life quote harder unquote lastly please consider standing by the people who are and poor right and not just the right people love you to life right needed to be said not certain if some of that needed to be said don't personalize the broad beef here well it's personally for me I'm like it's my personal opinion I think it was respectful I think it was to the point I think it was necessary and I feel like this is something that she's been holding holding on to for a while and just felt like she just wanted to say it and but again it wasn't disrespectful I don't think there was any disrespectful intent I don't think there was any disrespectful language um so yeah I like it the other thing over response to this no of course not come on man I'm just asking no do you work yourself into a space where you pick and choose what you respond to and monique takes things personal which is fine oh this is personal to her yeah which is totally fine she won't respond personally that's fine I thought her Netflix personal thing was fine maybe I disagreed with some of it but yeah you take things personal respond personally do y'all think that you should be paid to promote a film that you're in internationally it depends that's gonna depend on my contract a lot well you can't just say yes a note of that I can't it depends on your scheduling you might have you might be scheduled to be on set for something else but then they want you to promote then it's like okay well I was gonna get paid for another picking up another film right but y'all want me to promote this uh I'm not sure what standard practice honestly been in film yeah music you would not I've heard plenty of times they don't pay you to act they pay to promote in most contracts it says you have to go promote to [ __ ] the [ __ ] internationally though is different and that probably wasn't there which is why they're if they're clinging on to that word and this beef but I don't know either way this didn't need to be said to Oprah I do not think that over will respond you know I mean that's there alright man good party by enjoyed a week man stay safe out there I want to thank our higher power for getting us here to y'all I want to thank higher power forgetting my co-workers here and I want to thank my higher power for come on three with marks co-ed Davis super freak all who can work all in oh I got boy Simon on this pod last that last call was mine so know what y'all talking about right and a little sidebar Russia and tell me to Rory's not to let me get your math dude you're asking me yeah the text in there you shoot me you shoot me you shoot me you I don't wanna hit this is coming from this is coming from me you the person that's had the most phone calls on this podcast to test celebrities I'm the one that does that no make this [ __ ] compelling spur the moment join in join me no I don't because I don't know is I don't do that you didn't call the campus with [ __ ] you don't call nobody kappa I don't need to call a capitalist give us the real cap a sauce yes I did he didn't teach us to dance he didn't dance for us I took that [ __ ] deeper like I was scared the cat was for me yeah yeah oh and before we get out of here jay-z just announced somewhere that he was not sitting down in protest he was sitting down because he got an artist mold and he got focused on the show details like how many speakers are there how many mics are there why is she doing that I'm just telling you what he said him where did you see this his private lesson as from the onion gave a speech explains why he and his family remain seated the super bowl bubbly and he gave that at yeah farts I'm getting out of your van I'm not doing it I can't be home enjoying a puff injure in the same the same episode it gotta be one of the other man one of these days these guys have come in here and admit that the baby is making the same song in the same beat just be working though they do see with no she's fine they see what the president was doing during the national anthem they want to talk about that we all think what's Trump there I know they just showed a video of what he was doing though they was watching it what do you think about trying his ass Trump in Bloomberg big enough Kansas the Super Bowl when they said the great the great state of Kansas and those Bloomberg ads were nasty there this well now the trumple's were filthy - you mean I was crazy see man Rocancourt some heat just for saying who he's gonna vote for what do you say he's gonna know yeah we think he said that I think they said he said that no he said it okay he said I'm think I'm voting for Bernie and even quote like mad backlash from it for me then he came out and said I'm shutting up my mind of my business this podcast is too big it can actually affect the election that's that's the part I saw I didn't think he was saying I was straight up saying yo no I guess I saw the the post [ __ ] where he was like I'm not I've refused to this political thing anymore I tried to help y'all out by giving you an honest platform I don't understand why people get so angry about politics when it's all based upon money right I would yeah I was gonna say it's it's the money all the money game it's okay disagree but like no it's not it's all the money game like you're allowed to vote for who you vote for and you're allowed to vote for who you vote for we're gonna attack each other because of who you want to go for it no but Roman got that platform now or that to them he would manipulate voters to vote for because to them anyone that listens to Joe Rogan you're automatically gonna vote for who Joe Rogan says you're gonna vote for listen I'm still not off of Joe Rogan not knowing what a 16 is like I came in here and brought that and y'all didn't say it anymore but that was like big news to me why how could Joe Rogan not know what a 16 is cuz I don't think Joe Rogan oh this is the rap team guy thank you guys for listening we'll be back on Saturday and hopefully all of us here know what a 16 is we do can y'all count bars comes a right after 15 all right right before 7:00 it's good just go through the tunnel running the tunnel me you've been ejected
