eeehm well every time before we like do the podcast I just visit ends to snaps to see it like the vibe the vibe that you and Rory are in so today when Rory Gooden is I'm gonna just take a picture of every song I'm listening to and show y'all Rory comes in with mad music [ __ ] on this with mad music came out today he has every Friday of this year right now we had like a one week off last week I think there was a little yeah last week it was slow I kind of liked it came out I'm sick Apple - I'm sick of Apple showing me like all of these white bands that come out every Friday why would you check Apple I only check Spotify true I got the Spotify watch app now I'm pretty excited about it yeah let's make everything Spotify yeah you're right you what now sir Rory don't even look at it don't even look at it look at it I'm definitely gonna make a shirt that says I wasn't outside what was Mall mall wasn't cool when this was out I was cool no you were not no you weren't it was this is before Harlem [ __ ] am an artist now what what age do you think our cool that's not even cool to say I mean I've been I've never been cool ever at no point did [ __ ] look at me like oh never naughty one you had the blonde hair oh cool back that's why yeah that's why starting with a joke we're Rory because then he just looked for a pocket that returned fire as you should that's nice corny Doug Loewen keep firing stick and move [Music] [Music] got it let it rock on a Saturday morning gotta let it rock Oh if you ain't sing the bridge when it came oh hey hey so that's not no more wouldn't cool you don't even know [ __ ] was singing this party you and I and I might still serve [ __ ] and karaoke over the feather my lady now that I think about it ah did you go to yeah okay that hollow Jodeci line stung on stage it did that was good though slow down see the reaction in the crowd your face might have scrunched up a little bit [ __ ] to laugh about over forever my lady oh my god well you know a nun stung when he walked in a circle around you and said yo I'm rapping circles around you then he was unstuck I think at that point I didn't like that one that was better than that boy and when Harlem when he put the law imaginary bag on the floor and said that means I'm about to get in my bag or something like that [Laughter] imaginary yeah word recycle Hollow oh man I think my mom's was still cool and this long without I don't want to think about it yeah yeah 89 88 87 all right I'm getting sad playing these songs so I'm turning them off microphone check one two one two [Laughter] webisode is 197 that's crazy that's craziness so much for 200 welcome to episode 197 of the Joe Budden podcast I am your host Joe Budden here with a few of my nearest and dearest friends Parkes is here Rory's here malt is here Erikson is here save on is here again please pardon my voice if I sound a little under the weather I was trapped in a vehicle for 10 hours yesterday the weather's been fluctuating it shouldn't be this cold right this second it's fall but we'll get into that a little later I want to sail it up to the entire Spotify community let me say what up to the YouTube viewership everybody listening at home everybody working scammers hedge fund people hi everybody mature audience a mature audience how's everybody doing you good you're good hey buddy good save on you good yeah I can speak for the a mature audience we're doing our good good I'm glad to hear that more how you doing I'm good great let's start let's start with Kim let's start the air because so rightfully so please rest in peace you know rest in peace - Kim Porter prayers and condolences to the entire family I cannot begin to imagine what they are going through over there but man I the Kim's defense hasn't really had me thinking about on just the fusion of R&B and hip-hop and the roles that she played Andre Harrell play guy played puff played like that whole uptown era like we joke a lot on this podcast today about you know how women are like the glue of hip-hop or like if the woman really started talking about so we talk about like that but Wow like that's important [ __ ] [ __ ] yes if you really think of the grand scheme of the roles played and the evolution of music and just what it's doing today and how it sounds mm-hmm even it's five of my ladyship no don't let me just keep talking yo say some goddamn it was written for her so you know it was fitting that you played that so yeah you know it's definitely in prayers and condolences to her family so sudden manage that that definitely took me by surprise hearing that news and you know the holidays being right around the corners it's a lot I think that's that's the part that yeah right before the holiday yeah so definitely you never want to play in a funeral right before the holidays yeah that's tough man so young yeah that was it that was a other part that Connor was like you start thinking like you know 47 this is the second time the deaths happened to me leaving leaving state of the culture Mac Miller all right yeah and if I think hard enough I might have been a third we're right X metroplex yeah yeah no that's uncomfortable that's uncomfortable to think uh you know if her I didn't even know what to say you know as somebody who is kind of personal with puff a little bit right I'm really bad in those moments it's tough yeah like what anything you do say isn't gonna help well I assume foot of your phone to be rather busy yeah first I assume for you to this is a time for your immediate and close people you know I assume that you know I assume a lot but it's not our job to assume it's our job to be they're for people we care about in love and just let them know that we're there so today I sent a text that just said I love you you're you and a family in my prayers and and that's that I don't I don't know what else to say I don't know what else to say I can't imagine what he would be going through and for me that position too that he has to be strong for his kids so can he even grieve yet oh no yes to be the rock of them he's gonna grieve no of course I'm not saying he's not but that immediate thing is he has to be the leader for that family that was the other thing like I was thinking about like stopping like a lot of people and the music business you know we've a lot of people in the music business have the luxury of not really facing things because we're constantly active right um so when you have to stop and just look at it all and feel it all and face it all he's grieving he's he's grieving you don't you don't take that kind of loss and uh I wish there was something I could say to try to explain to the the audience exactly how close they were but it's not my place and he's grieving first period period so they're in my prayers uh the kids are my prayers like it's just got to be an extremely difficult time and really great to see the outpouring of love from the entire community ah so again rest in peace Kim Kim Porter you know yeah I'm I don't know today yeah I mean her impact I notice especially with women in particular in what she represented to women was yeah was a lot to see on that day yeah like [ __ ] she really kinda was a staple for yo and what she didn't represent it yeah my first time ever seeing Kim Porter or ever really attempting to find out who she was was my first time at the Grammys like Def Jam was making me go to the Grammys I didn't really want to go nominated oh no not this Walker not this one in Joe Budden fashion nominated it doesn't want to go well actually you're not that one it was this was a different one I don't remember cuz was that long ago but I really didn't want to go and I'm assuming that I would have went to an award show already for me to not want to go to the Grammys like who don't want to go to grant when I was nominated I was hyped yep so this time I don't wanna go so I'm there this maybe might have been like my second award show in LA or in New Year I don't remember cuz I don't remember but everybody was dressed to the nines everybody was beautiful I didn't know [ __ ] about [ __ ] cuz I was stupid I'm still stupid but I was real dumb net and muff walked in with cameras and she stole the room I'm sure I'm not saying that because of this moment that we're in with all of them beautiful people in there she stole the room I forgot who I am now some people have that weird or an energy where you have to ask you know who the [ __ ] is that person yeah yeah she may puff look different and it's not even and while Kim was extremely beautiful that's not the aura I'm talking about some people just have a weird energy around them yeah um I say that to say when when I'm watching everybody put these pictures up and he's posed you know just how well received and well loved she was everybody's making mention of the energy like I don't I don't think that's by chance I don't think it's a coincidence like me it's somebody who really subscribed to that [ __ ] it's good to see again rest in peace comported she's in our prayers um so I'm gonna play outstanding because I don't really know how do i else to get away from from such a dark subject well you know celebrate life man we got the very life that filter life and you know the beautiful spirit that she was the beautiful person that she was yeah you know mother - yeah and I mean the best part about it you know is I mean if you have to find gratitude which that's how I live you know Quincy just got this new show on Starz or some [ __ ] so recently they were all at the premiere so I saw a lot of pictures of that thank God that this did not occur on pops birthday Jesus thank god this didn't happen and that was close that was a few weeks ago yeah I'm just glad that God allowed the people that loved her to see her you know in great spirits and amazing she'd happening before it was over hmm well that's important that's important you let me in your home for that I will [Music] mic check mic check mic check mic check yeah I mean I get my guy get back in mine all right okay now Malta you know my friend Keith Keith Keith Keith Rory knows my friend Keith I know Keith we play cards with Keith oh thank you yeah live King plays a debate he always wants to argue about EPMD versus tribe versus tribe he loves a [ __ ] on tribe yeah you always wants to yeah boys has a wild sports take but you know that's part of my my card playing click like I was far too playing cards it has to be one of those people at the table oh it's me I think it's a strategy really distract everybody yeah it's me enough but Keith is in his forties he really is he really believes I'm in a while should you be saying so it's me Keith pop teeth it's like it's a bunch of us us that old crew on on 45th and Linux we played cards with the old people it's where I got robbed at as you know we got we got a community right how convenient is that so I play the Spades keeping them there bit more advanced they do pinochle sometimes my memory is not that good they do Bid Whist from time to time right trust me this story has a point so other day I'm watching the news and then the news they say they said the New York the New York mega lottery millions winner identity is being released today wait why because he they couldn't find the winner on the door it was a [ __ ] in Harlem net1 and a lady in Cleveland I dove wherever that one for the work for the big would a big one but a big one the New York winter one 345 million after taxes it was 125 million with 300,000 25 some crazy good summer at home right so I'm watching that in the news I think that was Thursday associate before was going to work and I said oh that's a mistake but why would why wouldn't the [ __ ] pay to have his identity kept yeah because I know that's the option but then I had to go to work so I didn't get to see nothing so my father's calling me all day long to keep my father's calling me all day long Oh Webster just called and when I finally call him back he's just by chance did you see who won the Mega Millions in New York and said no why and he starts dying laughing because it's our man Bailey that we play cards with [Laughter] like like [ __ ] so he don't even know he like all of the furniture that's great might be antique yeah like [ __ ] in the park you know so Keith I'm bringing up Keef because this man was Keith's Bid Whist partner and I think Keith's dead of them yeah keith was like one of the only people to like really be close to him and them my fault my father is laughing because his thief is in the hospital sick growing up [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] whoa man that's crazy he was playing the same numbers for 25 years oh I read that [ __ ] Bailey I've read that headline today [ __ ] that was him that's a Larry Bailey's playing the same numbers for 25 years wasn't even gonna walk in when I tell you that no Keith this is Joe Budden from the Joe Budden podcast how you doing good are you alright pop told me was a little sick this week you know why my [ __ ] rich father hits a [ __ ] why Oh oh my god I appreciate the trumpets I'm glad it's finally somebody like that I know that hit that I know probably needed done 25 million that like some rich white person already in the middle of the country somewhere like the last one that hit that Wow five hundred million she was in Chino Hills millionaire like an oil owner or something rigged it already Oh got some new supreme money that would match what they was saying that actually makes me trust the lottery just a little bit now no cuz I always thought that [ __ ] was rigged and I didn't know nobody that knew the person they were they what they got million and gave you [ __ ] [ __ ] oh no no no no in that sense I might like the winner we've never met or like really seen the winner it's a picture it will never see Bailey again [ __ ] out in New York gone so I was trapped in a vehicle I was trapped in a vehicle on I interstate 280 in New Jersey for seven hours yesterday by yourself to it the driver no I wasn't driving oh that's good oh no no no no no no no I wonder what that ticket would be it wasn't an uber it was a refunded everybody okay it was it was a service it was car service but he wasn't an aggressive driver that can get annoying well slow down we did where I was it did where I was people don't how to get busy in traffic there's a way to get through that [ __ ] but there's a way what I'm saying you could do better thank you Rory's you both are correct if you're in a deadlock somewhere of course you can't go anywhere but in horrible weather conditions how far you get normally depends on your driving ability like can you get around these accidents not the perfect lane the idiot mergers the sliding car over there like so this guy here this [ __ ] driver and shout out to him cuz we got it we got through it that was a bid in a car that was a bid on a highway seven for two miles I left work at 3:30 and walked in at my house at a quarter to ten that was the first time in my entire life I was thankful for the MTA like above day was [ __ ] up to 20 minute wait when I got home an hour and 15 minutes not everything was [ __ ] up everything from Jersey but the crazy cities I still don't understand why because it wasn't that much like we've been in snow before yeah like real blizzard it wasn't that like the traffic was no way um I'm really angry about it don't know it was loudly furious it was people were in Atlanta that year when they snowed like half and well yeah yesterday I formally apologized on Twitter for all the Atlanta jokes I made cuz they get a centimeter of snow and the whole city shut down it looked like Atlanta with buildings yesterday yeah that was crazy I don't know I still don't and it's not the people we know how to move in that type of [ __ ] but dad like could we get a grain of salt i with some mortises just put that [ __ ] out there but it was actually it got to a point where you know I just started thinking it was some scare it was scary because you start thinking like Yoda city can really be crippled like at any moment right oh yeah cuz if that crippled the city is like you know Omega they braid this [ __ ] is crazy man wait wait till some I am Legend [ __ ] we all really got to get out any work so you saying wait that's exactly why I brought up my drivers lack of aggressive driving skills because it immediately brought me back to that 9-1-1 dock I was watching where if you just have a set way of thinking you die [ __ ] yeah so I took a nap and woke up two hours later and I'm and it seems fine i man yeah I wake up in the same spot I'm asking homeboy I say yo you can't get to the street like I see we a little ways from the exit but I see a shoulder right and I know we all the way to the left but what's up no no no no I'm calling all my driver buddies they're streets just as bad just as bad got it I'm gonna take a nap for another four but eventually we got to just got to the exit on the street mm-hmm cut around was home an hour that 280 [ __ ] still wasn't moving New York they I pay you and I never thought I would say this sentence in my life here it comes here comes here comes Republican Joe let me get it over the Blackbirds go ahead I would do it please signal [ __ ] 284 seven hours over not even a foot not even six inches of snow that was crazy yeah the newspeople was mad they was cursing out the the Commissioner of New York transit always hey what's going ham yesterday everybody was stuff I knew something was wrong I looked at my [ __ ] right I'm stuck with plows I'm stuck with snowplows to pick up power souped-up rocks they clean [ __ ] up I thought your trucks we all sit near chilling I'm sorry I thought you said you were stuck with plows the rapper plows the rapper mispronounced it but I do not understand why it was so much traffic that's crazy I don't get I still do not know scenario we'll make like I can say robbed our [ __ ] tax dollars is what they did for [ __ ] it's [ __ ] it's Amazon's fault yes yeah it might be I'm rolling with that this is Amazon's fault sir ma'am you can't tell me now I'm not rolling I'm not rolling it's funny style I feel like they tried to sabotage DeBlasio the Sanitation Department I feel like they just was like [ __ ] that we because the Blasio was no it could be a hint of snow coming and he will have the [ __ ] yeah salt trucks out the day before there cuz he be careful in school all the time what the [ __ ] I didn't know I do not understand what happened yesterday on the news that and I watched the news I watched the anchor ladies are so chipper and happy they never made an aggressive until morning yeah so they asking shorty yo what happened for real why would we all stuck the lady telling her well New York New York had every we had sought out and we had trucks out at the normal times what happened was the overflow from the George Washington Bridge when it was construction there in accidents there it pound over and affected New York City in ways that they wouldn't have imagined on all major highways really [ __ ] did you just say that you just said that on the news in the morning right so I'm shutting up but listen man if that should happen again bro that [ __ ] was giving me anxiety and I wasn't even in now I'm looking out the window I'm like yo what the [ __ ] is going on I was at home cooking dinner at all that shell look on Twitter everybody's like yo we're still here the [ __ ] they said preserve gas and turn off your car lock down Port Authority i whole thing you imagine if your cars ding I hit the state of the culture group chat at 9:30 and said I'm still an hour from home I thought they was gonna feel my pain and [ __ ] right they hit back said we're too snowed in the studio oh we got flights to catch Wow yeah I sent out the files to him they're like you know how you snowed into a studio when it snowed an inch Remy called me at 10:00 like my auntie where did you make it home like it was a thing it was a thing yesterday yeah yeah I don't I still understand that [ __ ] that [ __ ] because I've never seen nothing like that before the only time I've seen it like that might have been 9/11 mmm like we're just cars just could not move and everything was just shut down right bra do not understand how to what the [ __ ] happy to say I do not understand what happened I cannot understand that [ __ ] split the [ __ ] is doing out there well hopefully we got snow coming next week so let's see we're trapped in there [ __ ] no but now I just need to see what's gonna happen now every time it's no now I'm like listen I don't care if his to two centimeters I'm gonna crib I'm not trying to get caught and none of that [ __ ] okay so the other night sin comes in the house while I'm dead tired and she's playing some [ __ ] on her phone and it's a girl rapping and then the girl stopped rapping and then another girl started rapping and another girl started rapping and another girl started rapping finally oh my girl fam what the [ __ ] is on your phone she said this is the fashion of a launch this is cardis fashion all the launch mmm was it a cypher no it was cardis fashion over line launch but remember they did a concert oh that's right yeah with all these different groups and and female performers booked but everybody was at this party like I seem to be the only person I didn't really know well this was in LA but okay they this was a pretty would you have spent this but no no no but some money clearly well they if we're gonna get to the punchline they made [ __ ] 10 million in three hours so how do we know that they knew they could spend that how do we know that because the headline said it and headlines do not lie I just I'm tired of numbers just being thrown around yeah yeah but you know what they're only gonna see a car debriefs the streaming record with fashion ova imma see listen let me just say I believe that I do believe that she made that company ten million dollars and however many hours I see what we make though I believe that she could do that with her don't get us robbed chill I'm just saying our selling power and we're not hey that is all I'm saying I'm not saying we got it like that he's don't rob you ever worry be out I'd be home Robert damn boys my point I do believe that she made that but all it is all these uh outlets that don't report numbers anywhere for that just magically report numbers no I'm never gonna believe that I don't believe that we getting these numbers because fashion over told us these numbers we get the title numbers because title tell us the [ __ ] numbers we get these numbers because they tell us the [ __ ] numbers Spotify does rely about ours but the Kardashians tell us the numbers adidas tell us the numbers know Kanye struggling with shoe they just made more word oh whoa word madnes this is the one shoe huh this is the one where they said you know what unlimited take it like what is wrong with people you need is a stupid but anyway that's it is so you're fashionable push these numbers out I do believe that cardi can sell that mm-hmm but I'm now with these companies self-reporting no no that's pretty corny but so back to all of this [ __ ] happening on sends foam because boy what an epiphany for me because I am so disconnected hmm I am so out of touch with what's happening so what's happening if you're disconnected what does I make us know y'all were way more connected to me no no all right well let's see okay because unfortunately hip-hop is in a strange place today where me the former rapper gets like real [ __ ] from my girl see and while that looks and sounds funny I said over a long time ago that cardi was changing the world and that the next wave we was gonna have to worry about when I sit and watch this fashion over [ __ ] and obsess over it that's exactly what I see so let's test you guys the city girls know who they are no I told you know who they are Rory right yes Savon do you know they are Erickson to you but I also think they're party to you I'm aware of the name but I'm not from all do you yeah on top of that so that's one form all one from all irori 0 for Joe and Nicole connected meter so I don't know what is city girl thought oh okay okay yeah until I was thoroughly explained to me they the city girls are signed to QC the city girls rap about a lot of ratchet [ __ ] scamming [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] with them they do it for anyway and they got an album coming with the city girls one of them got arrested for for scamming snitching owners oh yeah did we just attack that conversation up here but cool but let me continue so one of them is arrested for living out or on factually scamming news I'm like oh great so free Dawson was about to perform right which is it well I don't know because the other one no really like perform it I don't know but I don't know the vibe somehow someway every week yeah prove me right about it being easier in this error don't take away from them but to me that I'm not sayin a dope but listen to what Joe said one of us locked up a scam and boom cool huh she clearly any really [ __ ] what music like that she grabbed the bus of all the other one not really following me like per formula is talking about you to a yahoo really really [ __ ] with music like that so the city girls crazy so the city girls was booked the profession over this city girl no but every stop man if you end it when the interviewers kept asking about him no they never acted like one of them with the rescue they kept saying plural alright y'all city girls coming up to visit so I felt very disconnected then right and then this other girl came on stage and she started rapping she was short the songs was down sounding harder and harder as she continued to rap okay like to the point where now I alright you got I'm listening it's my girl now yeah yeah cuz stupid me same coming in with all that [ __ ] enough on tone why don't you just hook your phone up till the television right so I'm committed now so I say baby who this and I don't want to be disrespectful because I remember any name said oh this is some Rita that's quavo girl this is Quay Vita wait a minute quick well as a girl mmm that's nice and raps - yeah that's it so they got quavo girl the city girls offset girl card Ibiza vent yo-yo cute QC new death row yeah I don't so I'm still yeah still not [ __ ] with what I said about this error I iku no ma na QC just cornered the market then uh was self love and hip-hop girl little shorter dream doll came out then there was another doll then in the bags a lot of biggie was fighting Aggie I'm what's the girl named so aggravating everytime pops up on the scene why she can't never come and chill yes the way our vitamins [ __ ] to the [ __ ] vibe back to my point trying to tell you it don't matter as long isn't it and listen I hate to keep foot Iggy Azalea because I've reasonably found out that I'm blocked by Iggy Azalea she plucked it yeah what you did bro I'm sure I'm sure I said some oh it's a follower no get the joke over no [ __ ] off I just want to know know somebody uh somebody retweeted you knows like they alluded to some funny being in what they tweet so I clicked I want to see Sam have you ever been black by somebody that you didn't know who it was absolutely yes like I'll go to do that and be like you're black I was like I've never seen his name in my life never never I'm blocked by some some bloggers do someone like Joe says something he says academics somebody resent me say and I was like I'll say it so my you just go to see what people are talking about right do have me blog I was like who the [ __ ] is never heard of this dude never went on his Beach whatever eggie eggie probably and I hate [ __ ] they'd always assume that they know why they're blocked you don't know why your blocks like well sometimes you have an idea but you'll never you don't know let's just cos you block everybody used to buy used to block a lot of you but there was a time where Iggy Azalea was wild on internet I don't think she's wiling now like she just saw work yeah chicken walk back getting on a conceit to me that's not wow that's just doing what some women choose to do on the internet like she was saying like not as well she was saying she was saying like racist [ __ ] at one point oh yeah they dug up her old tweets at one point so that's why I wasn't [ __ ] she could twerk she gotta have a blast but putting fried chicken on your back I can say that's racist did you see her no she might like chicken do you look everybody likes chicken Joe but you put a bucket of chicken wings on your bass what if it was like barbeque chicken there we go the white girls they love black dick like chicken molé everybody know what everyone does like oxtail me I see what you're going out to tail knock still do you like it yes exactly my boy no [Laughter] collard greens I'm just what do you all want me to say right there things the environment where like if you and Iggy Azalea pull up the KFC she'll shock you with the order well first of joy I got like KFC that's gross that's nasty it is kind of this I'm judging you if you take me to cater blechy buddy we would have white girls than a mine runner ass I was one more than negative take her everywhere she want to go I'm gonna take yes yes drove to Montreal twice he drove the Montreal realize the corners left his wallet home it was late those a quick drive her new low roll out from yesterday whoo big E's roll out no she said you know I'm done with my label [ __ ] all that and that was her big announcement that she was free now then the next day she signed back with the label with the most [ __ ] deal I've ever heard the same label yes the exact same label it was so sweet but it was like yo I could maybe put an album out if I want but here's a 20 million dollar advance I want all my masters and then I get to keep all the album sales like it was some of the dumbest thing I'd ever seen us like this is what you guys shows me a rollout album sales I was like we're supposed to believe come on man stop it you look good though she do it's gonna always come back to that she looks good though that's good you know but I never used to be on it like when I was accusing her saying all the races you know it's often like no I think she looks better now she was hand yeah yeah she wouldn't do something but anyway I didn't want to side with her but [ __ ] that and little Aggie [ __ ] god damn it [Music] that's the other side of Atlantic not a Kaiser side everyone viral label my caring side of the bed viral records that's why I'm not some money inviting the 15 yo chick to the event like really cuz all you got to do is be popular that's it she was nominated for female rapper of the year at the Billboard Awards like [ __ ] is pretty obviously she's the label is running that girl to death oh wait let me just bucks remember there's money oh yeah Atlantic I'll pay that way oh let me at the round of applause for parts real quick Time magazine parks is in time Time magazine is elected cardis album as album of the year I'm gonna help out the number one looses diggable planets card they agreed but time isn't doing that would be proud of them agreeing first time is the hip hop Bible I don't the [ __ ] yelling [ __ ] who was mom made it sound like it was just beyond the realm of I saw a couple people over reality that it could be album of the year I've seen a couple people tweeting this I'm just saying I don't I get it's time we're not saying that that's [ __ ] the Holy Grail but I'm not gonna give me to sit here and talk bad about Carter because I like cardi but y'all not gonna sit here and just act like we don't know what's going on but wait and that's the other thing I don't think that it's a bad thing if somebody thinks that album is not album of the year like either even to cut the premise of this conversation like right it's a great conversation to be a part of like I said fine artists no no it's not that but it's it's because we come on we all were smarter than that we see what's going on we know what we understand what's happening like it's just let me see but I what is the Machine but he can have the Machine think cardi got one with them city girls yeah she's on out city girls a dope not like for my listening but their dope I told y'all when Rory start insta snapping the songs he listening to he won't coming in tell you how dope city girls is yeah I mean we we just in that error tour we that that ratchet you know if you can't if you can't talk to it and all that like you know [ __ ] don't really want to hit the women don't really want now that they're so they're so what QC did they found two girls that can kind of match that cardi energy that ratchet energy yeah in a different way it's not like it's not for us but I get it it's like nods for the bartender's like it's speaking directly did say lifestyle is speaking to the lifestyle was going on and you know on that scene right now and it's the soundtrack of what's going on in the club so I'm like they are fumbling for Instagram captions right now these bartenders with all but now I got a whole venom that the city girls just gave you know it's funny nowadays when I'm going to strip club like you know I could see all the new bartenders and I'm wondering with the old bartenders of that like I said around oh the old barns and news is all rapping and singing and at the fashioned over release yeah what you think benissa sixteen will be right now yeah right now she gonna definitely give him some bossy chick vibes she will get bossy chick a bossy chick bars off you know I would really like you see women to stop starting the verses with bad [ __ ] and then continue on just find a new way to start I'll kill you I want to leave in the middle throw it at the end like why don't let you know all the top drop clothes know what it is they [ __ ] you listen to to a bad [ __ ] yeah cuz you know you listen different when the [ __ ] is bad well I don't personally like that word so me neither so that's true that's why I don't want any I agree well they young girls aren't listening yoke you see has a real monopoly going on they're killing it they are destroying it's deeper than rap like it's much bigger than just me goes and cardi there in the fashion they've got a monopoly on a certain sound like a third and yeah demo yeah that's nuts well I mean there you know that's what happens when you have dues understand you know the business and what hustling is and going out there and making [ __ ] happen I mean there'll be some success somewhere I mean they get what makes sense for their artists like putting yachty would not and they know yeah they know this they know their artists is a brand target [ __ ] they know what they're talkin try not to QC do you think that and this is gonna be a wild question especially for this New York has podcast to ask mm-hmm do you think that in order do you think that to be an Atlanta rapper and pop or get some traction that you have to go through QC you should probably have some type of relationship with them that's what I mean yeah yeah I don't think you have to go through them no right well no as far as about the term go seen them help other people in Atlanta that are not signed to them what does that period that's why Atlanta wins because Atlanta supports and helps Atlanta they seem to [ __ ] with you write it if QC was from New York yeah you might have to go through a QC if you want to make it as a New York rapper why you said it cuz we're not supportive I'm still standing by you have to go through QC to get gain traction like I'm moving it from Atlanta if you're an artist mylanta but in general from out there oh no where's Gucci follow that no lo baby ain't gonna that they're not signed to QC and that they're doing really well somebody baby is QC that's what I'm telling you they have a monopoly on a sound it was yeah I'll get him [ __ ] they flowers for sure that's a fact no they definitely working they doing a lot no no doubt about that last couple years they they right up there they working they probably number one really and again it all goes back to Gucci at the end of the day yeah yes Lou Gucci that's been our problem New York has never had a Gucci man no what do you mean when you say that after I'm not gonna debate it no no it's fine after our rain in like the early 2000s we never had to arrogant that's a fact yeah two separate two we never had that elder that was still hot but only focused on the kids I could make a case that a lot of this had to do with 50 in New York well a lot of people make Becker yeah it may sound alone nuts but you know I think that could have been max B I think max B could have been our Gucci I'm sure I'll see what you go over there he was definitely forward-thinking with the new sound I think he would have [ __ ] with all the new kids if his career panned out I think he would have been a lot higher outside of New York hmm like I think max P could have been our Gucci yeah I do well on hip hop way too much like when he says that like if there were never a member when Marvel used to do what if comics I do that a lot with hip hop if there were never a Dipset max be beefed mm-hmm then there's never yeah a French Dip set before Frank Jimmy beef mm-hmm and then Jimmy then then French his pun - Jimmy's Fat Joe cuz they're cool today right and then that does something real different with because French is tight would Drake dip set is tight with Wayne right I think it just changes the course of how certain things play out in New York that's only my brain I can't prove that at all that's interesting point but the internal turmoil yeah and especially at that point Dipset like after the Rockefeller [ __ ] and Rough Riders and everything kind of dying down Dipset let it for New York for sure so when they start beefing with the new New York [ __ ] there's nothing we can do so then I tie that to cam and Jays beef because if they never beefed yep and if there was if if things were harmonious underneath the Rockefeller imprint cuz Rockefeller had in true life to that cuz that's what a lot more to the fire yeah because it seemed like that's what Nana be talking about it seemed like that's what Dane was trying to do mm-hmm that is what Dame was trying to do that's exactly when name was beefing with whole Dame went to every New York [ __ ] that ever had a spark he went to mobb deep he went to mo P you know he came to me ODB he went to Odin be like he was trying to do that then but Jay was big man yeah Jay's valve whoa and that's why like Jay couldn't be the Gucci cuz he was far removed from being out in the street seeing who was young I used I used to snice to knock hold for just how he went about some of that but today you see it be the Gucci Mane beef until you bring all these [ __ ] around me also effect oh that's me I'm beef what you [ __ ] about bring a certain [ __ ] arrested what are you doing man we killin you're doing a lot my [ __ ] yeah yeah but the interesting point Rory did we never had Lucci minutes but I've always thought or Khaled see New York arrogance and self-centeredness when I say Khaled I think of Clue and flex hmm because y'all shoulda right y'all should have y'all been in that spot for that long and y'all were too connected and to respected to not do well that clue did it kinda yeah but they stopped so did flex but they stopped album was a calendar it was dope hell yeah love that out Khaled albums really our clue tapes actually yeah yeah just with more money behind them their commercial glue tape so clearly was the clue tape was probably the first I got think about that it's pretty yeah is probably the first like professional mixtape that whoa came out drama dude gangsta grillz the album was the first now the flex had the 60 minutes of foam but it was different it wasn't he had a bunch of [ __ ] but he was never like what was the first one yeah clue was the first flex didn't really have original it was free styles for the most part if not entirely yeah so there's a little bit different but that's still you know you gotta give this press that 50 left 50 and Ja beef totally dismantle New York that was like the nuclear bomb on the city do you think so absolutely I mean you have people dissing jawed it had nothing to do with that beef but I think even Busta started dissing I won't 1 well that's why you know what a bunch of [ __ ] have started coming out of no wages [ __ ] job I'm like what is happening right now know so many people had issues with each other within the city like I didn't I just didn't understand it well that yeah then 50 really tried to [ __ ] up the whole thing when Fat Joe and and kiss and here's the crazy [ __ ] about all of that 50 started making music like John like I was just layin for everything he was this [ __ ] job with no it he's 52 turned around and started making those type of Records y'all right he did it on the mixtapes he was singing on all them [ __ ] well y'all 50 and Ja conversation and again my brain is warped see I was thinking about that earlier that 50 jaw conversation somehow brings me to offset and cardi okay it does how so yeah please default because we needed jaw absolutely we knew we needed him we'd I feel that way I feel like we really needed him and the [ __ ] that took him out was like Shaq he was Shaq dominant like 50 came out and we I never saw nothing like that so great now are our hardest hottest act in New York who was killing [ __ ] along with his crew g-unit everything y'all touches gold so when they were divisive it was different it wasn't just know if you want to [ __ ] with us you can't [ __ ] with job you be from what else it was you [ __ ] with kids you be from with us you [ __ ] with Fat Joe you be from with us you [ __ ] with game you beefing with us you [ __ ] it was a bunch of in some senses we just beefing with you so I so isin a reason so I take that as a real monumental moment in New York because damn it was the hottest [ __ ] in New York but y'all wasn't really New York because y'all divided New York like y'all work y'all belong to the to their everywhere else to the world here yeah yo over the world so cardi now is on it looks like that type of energy today where if I have to think of a New York artist so car needs to be and a really really really long run let me just walk you through my warped brain cardi is dead so the same way I feel like hole saw something and be early in the game like of course you were superstar great old scenes I'm different that's genius I mean thinking of how Q C is so dominant I'm forced to believe that offs it seems some scene just seems something and now the hottest rapper in New York in my opinion is a QC Atlanta act well this similar should happen with Nikki as well like nikki is New York through and through I'll never take that from her but she couldn't get a deal here the same way with 50s why can't be mad at 50 everyone blackballed them in New York you couldn't get a deal here you had to go somewhere else so I can't be mad that Nikki went down to Atlanta and I was young that is not true that may be true for Nikki that's not true for 50 it's more true for 50 I think that's a misconstrue wise not what did fans liked he was black how to rob 50 was blackballed by Wang step everybody wanted I'm talking my mixtape boring stuff naturally and uh Nate Mel I know she's by wangster every label had a contract offer in front of 50 cent I'm aware but he still probably had a stigma at that point that's like pumping up Joe being blackballed and today that's still affecting me like no we rockin today yeah with black boy then that I don't know I don't feel like that right yeah but I still think he had some salt in his mouth with that entire thing like y'all was playing me now y'all want me and Trey have been in my corner when people didn't want me so [ __ ] y'all I'm gonna go with them and I think Nikki was the same case she went down to Atlanta and signed with a southern label 50 went and signed with the West Coast [ __ ] like when you're not being supported [ __ ] out of here I totally understand why you left New York to do that and I can't be mad at you so you're not gonna have that New York camaraderie because you're not on that label you're not on some [ __ ] [ __ ] y'all well I mean when 50 was even though I 50 had his all friends and no he was one of the probably the hottest act in the game but at that time what would the labels in New York there was murder inkle clearly nothing was happening there Rockefeller was starting to yeah nothing I'm saying but I think beef was the only reason why he purposely avoided New York yeah yeah that's what I'm saying because Freeman um was still in New York mm-hmm yeah just fine when when you think about all this [ __ ] and it's a great way another way yeah what if yeah it's very interesting so some more what if let's talk about Takashi for a little bit it's kind of a what is I don't I don't know that because that's where we are in hip-hop today let me not just say it like it's only today when gravy got shot in front of high 97 when the game shoot I didn't know where we were then either so it's not just it's not just today smart I don't know what to ever believe when it comes to Takashi six nine it is hard it's hard to decipher and I'm not trying to be funny mm-hmm I just don't ever know but go that's what happens when he's good he's a showman yeah you told us you don't don't know what to believe anymore he's past the troll now I can't calm a troll that kid is a showman so the other day that the police Eames he reported that somebody got arrested from that that old kidnapping that you know I didn't know whether to believe it then and then I was like let me see if the cops catch somebody and they didn't catch anybody so I didn't know what to believe and out of court some ice and it's camp so I still don't know what believe yeah like you can orchestrate that The Breakfast Club interview you can orchestrate that I'm still only getting words from you so I don't know what to believe now on the flip side of that if I'm watching it what's occurring it's everything that I thought would occur everything that I said would occur I've been in this situation many many young rappers have been in this situation where you are our scientist um killers scientists some [ __ ] it's a different world you know you you move and think differently um and normally you're not getting what you should be getting normally so I kind of thought that the day would come where as a young [ __ ] getting a whole lot of money you realize a some money something's missing something funny here then you want to separate yourself then you have to then you have to go about the business of figuring out how to separate yourself and that's very difficult when you've been traveling with people for a certain amount of years and they know your thinking and how you move they know everything you know then it comes - so now Takashi is saying he has canceled all everything and everybody's fired which sounds like a really small deed but because all the [ __ ] that you've caused it's expensive for you to move see that's where that's where there are some similarities between you and megastars it's very expensive for megastars to move around everywhere Takashi goes it's expensive you used so all that Internet trolling [ __ ] is cool but when you're doing it I'm counting the security guards I'm counting the hours that they are with you like it's a lot of money it is yeah but I mean it's it's a catch-22 you can't win for losing cuz that's what made him I I mean it the music kept him hot but that's what made him hot was that trolling [ __ ] and because of it you need the security rawrr are you talking to somebody that was steaming hot many many many years ago when you steam in height at at some point you'll feel like you need those killers like you oh no I'm not that security Bohol that's a totally different point than women no no I know I'm just letting you know that you're talking to somebody who was steaming hot and went bankrupt twice trying to pay for [ __ ] with that that group and I again didn't see the amount of success that that kid is seeing in the moment so when he's on the Breakfast Club saying damn I did want to repair my I did want to repair my image so I figured I'd take the shorter I do to $300,000 concert and then I find out it was its 3.8 million and then my wall many artists have had that moment so even though this kid is a magician and I don't know what to believe I believe that because we all have gone through that yeah certainly seen it I never thought that this kid was had the intellect level to be able to avoid these pitfalls that all of us experience is what I'm saying yeah are you feat did you get caught in the moment he was trying to man sometimes you just can't get out of them even if you see it right here he he around [ __ ] that clearly is what he's engulfed in something that with wit [ __ ] just letting it loose I just have to keep saying that because it's a different set of rules yeah music business just oh I'm worried yeah like I'm worried like something is wrong when you know and again we're desensitized because it is trolling in the era that we're in but they've been shooting at him in random places for the past however many months mm-hmm there be shot at him on Madison Ave daytime as someone who's been robbed and had guns on him and the date guns pulled on him in the daytime like any time it's happened I thought to myself damn it's the date I think I'm I agree like it's a priest in around the coin he might really be about that yeah if they don't give a [ __ ] this it's different I'm just saying it's a little different as all I'm saying it's some of this stuff when I'm watching it I'm like I pray for him because I want him alive and I want him well and I know the spot he's in it's a difficult spot so that so the other week other week it was reported that he was in a restaurant eating with something and that spoke on this hear he was in a restaurant in New York eating with some [ __ ] and some [ __ ] tried to get in that restaurant security stopped them from getting in the [ __ ] left came back and started letting north shots mmm there was a big shootout that was the night time what the date is when his body goes got hit yeah yeah so then a few a few days after that it was reported and again whether you choose to believe these reports because today none of our news our hip-hop news outlets are so substantiative even our political news yeah none of the none of it like you believe what you believe a few days later it was reported and I paid a lot of attention to this because it was very telling that it was shoddy that came to the restaurant attempted to get in couldn't get in whilst while homeboy was in there with such and such Grange very important universal person that named Grange solution grains this was another Grange this was the connected Takashi [ __ ] I've been saying this for a little while that that kids connected so the report came out that he was in there with another grain shot he tried to get in couldn't get in he came back did whatever you had to do that's that to me whoa wait a second this is much more than meets the eye here there's a disconnect between him and shiny like from weeks ago that they already display and it's already manifesting and we don't know about it then shot he had to turn himself in that's why I don't know what to believe because between Takashi's case and shinies case it might behoove them both to come public and say I don't [ __ ] with [ __ ] so don't take nothing I'm saying it's concrete please I don't know nothing right I don't know a thing and some of y'all that listen to this podcast often no rule my one of my my only rule probably here is to not really go in depth on Street [ __ ] but that's my only rule so I don't know and I haven't been trying to find out I'm holy in passing I don't inquire cool yeah Surrey should you just don't you that's their business I live by a cold more will be revealed so in time we'll see what's going on uh but it but it certainly reminded me of a dark time like that's that's a dark time yeah well I mean his realization when he said on the interview no one can touch me except for the people around me mean the only way made Dylan hice lived in the hope that what they change the name of that hotel now it might be a double tree now whatever hotel that isn't and for leat we lived there probably for nine months just because of some [ __ ] that I had going on in the streets let me repeat that we lived in a hotel for nine months that's not cheap yeah like when circumstances are excruciating you got to do excruciating [ __ ] so when this kid is on when it's so when this kid is on the breakfast club interview saying your promoter said yo I got some mom's address and something's over there like again I don't know I don't know what to believe from him but I can see a scenario where it's true that's happening easy easy money easy money easy money what's the artist like himself yeah and we've been said a long time ago that see the thing all that issued is cute when you're producing and you gotta continue to produce the excellence that falls off so people like this kid this kid has a good energy he's charming he's done some [ __ ] [ __ ] but but he's a lovable kid I don't know how lovable he will be if he is no longer producing the antics we're off of course and then like I said about eight months ago whenever that xxx she was going on damn it [ __ ] like you now so like don't die don't die now or anytime soon yeah yeah so ah she's in my prayers his album is next Friday SHINee is in my prayers all these [ __ ] are friends and everybody yeah I'm praying for everybody is this way too much money at stake it's way too much on the line for our decision making to not be pristine like we got to be our best selves at all at all times the wrong decision in a millisecond it's greater than you it costs not only you I'm gonna say that and imma move on because I don't want to get embroiled in any of that [ __ ] I know something going on I ain't even been seen next to Takashi like I'm it sounds funny these are small things that I pay attention to right because when the label is involved AK is involved when the label is paying for for act to be there 24/7 to document because AK is hot and as a reader tool and a resource the label is involved when I don't see a Quran when I came reporting when AK don't have the scoop when act just reporting it like anybody else the scoop label laying around or label ain't paying them he ain't talking to me ain't talking to shot he ain't hanging out oh it's real yeah no more shenanigans [ __ ] mad now you [ __ ] ain't in the mall running around I [ __ ] bet that's how this goes in hip-hop hip-hop is great lion gotta love it if I was great like for as much as I laugh at myself for being comfort around [ __ ] with guns I certainly laugh at [ __ ] is uncomfortable around these with guns as nerdy as hip-hop has been and is becoming street still run that [ __ ] oh no it definitely is I'm just saying how it's still dangerous treats still control everything hey that that's even growing with the day yeah for sure hey internet [ __ ] streets is around yeah that's a fact they around they just not necessarily the ones right anymore yeah Dave hey they not really we don't know how Street [ __ ] move now Street [ __ ] have adapted as well remember when used to try to explain Internet to a street [ __ ] they know now yeah they on there and you wouldn't know then they know they're posting normally no [Music] [Laughter] you saw see in the comments of a killer [Music] they always say something is crazy okay good to know I was talking to Remy Remy see that's why I love talking auntie Remy I'm talking to Remy cuz remy is so much more Street than me like so say yeah man I'm shooting at Takashi man I really hope that kids okay yeah how you know they're shooting at him C Street [ __ ] will always think different yeah as a Remy what are you talking about like yeah it was reported as shooting at him they've been shooting and [ __ ] he's dumb I said well Kanye and Nikki have been saying [ __ ] for the past I have many mumps so how do you know who there was you net ah I don't think that but I am Street she lets bullets ain't got no names Kanye been saying stupid [ __ ] for a year Nikki been saying [ __ ] to [ __ ] and listen if I'm somebody and want to do something that is the time I'm doing it so why am I keep saying some I shoot at Scotty bullets ain't got a name somebody's shooting that's all you know it's somebody shooting well right we're not necessarily the rapper but the people there hang out I assume that it's sports Agassi but he did mention in that uh interview that it was Nikki's dressing room wasn't his no it was his uh and then it got switched and Nestle Nikki ended up in that she was originally supposed to listen prayers up for everybody man you [ __ ] stay safe out there cuz just stay safe stay safe and stay smart more importantly yes yeah be smart this is supposed to be fun suppose we everybody getting a lot I'm not even a man if you [ __ ] want to be stupid but this should be like a smart stupid game wish everybody a smart non-us everybody isn't smart but that can't be an indictment no no it's not but I'm just saying when you're in this in this industry and you understand what's at risk and what's the reward if you just move a certain way I mean just make smart decisions like it would be in your best interest like dog you can make a lot of money you can do a lot of great things beautiful life and and live a peaceful life just don't be stupid period these are like just life [ __ ] that you should just move to life with like [ __ ] the industry but you just move through the life beings just make smart decisions I thank God every morning that somehow we're impactful in this moment in hip-hop where people are being paid yeah I don't have a thing about it yeah yeah I mean it's a nice evening getting it today yeah different money it's different money today and listen when I signed my record deal this saying was a hit record feet a million families but different it's the era where it's not just t-shirts and liquor you can get money elsewhere mm-hmm if you want to be in hip-hop and if you move smart that's a nice little quote ROI it's not just t-shirts and liquor if you do know all the different ways to gain revenue streams that's a really great quote there's magic t-shirts and liquor not anymore and even t-shirts and liquor not long ago were a new yeah thing it wasn't long ago that that was foreign word you know I'm saying like like jay-z's doing what right he's selling as Carter's we're Reebok right he's making vodka yeah you really salute over and above it you can say we're on their dick that's fine anytime anytime y'all have this whole bias I was like I think we've admitted it why don't you why don't you have old bias anybody that is from the inner cities that is from the communities that we're from and the neighborhoods you it's impossible for you not to look at J and not to look at puffs and not salute them where they are in their lives today that's why I'm gonna exactly dig that's why I tell you 19 I'm digging into my true crime bag you can't it's impossible like I'm going to merge hip hop and true crime because it's understated again I was talking to me about this it's understated the amount of killers that are still in hip-hop number one an electric and number two allegedly of course and number two the amount of hip-hop that stems from killers yes somebody has to start pointing this to all of it yeah so you're talking about home and I don't know but I assume there to be a whole lot a whole Brooklyn [ __ ] like he was really there absolutely we talking about puffs that brings me to the Harlem [ __ ] when [ __ ] was really there I don't think people know my story the timelines of some of this stuff and who some of these people were around 50 like just I think you should be highlighted yeah because we are yeah like serious [ __ ] serious [ __ ] yeah like that's a that's a he's a movie so I do salute people that come from those circumstances in you know Jason world run the five hundred million dollar empire is like yes I will always salute that shit's on the kids for [ __ ] on the older guys like Joey you're doing this because of them like I know you don't directly know that right but yadi you're doing a Nautica deal because home did a Reebok deal right right you don't understand it they don't understand it so I you don't know about it that's why I could never tell you you know how do you not know about this that's that's your story whatever but don't [ __ ] on it ya know not to say yeah you did well that's just an example yeah no no no I love when Drake [ __ ] Drake is sound now all these arenas when he does it I think how big of a deal it was I've said it before in here when hole sold out the garden for the first time yeah that was a moment in hip-hop or just a rock the mic [ __ ] when they didn't have to have a horn B act like it was just all hip-hop came bachelor it was late for Run DMC yes yeah you know saying like that was an era where people didn't even take him up at all seriously absolutely there's just certain people that will always you just always have to just no matter what where you from yeah salute man I will always salute yeah that's not just making New York rap a lot cash money no limit like they're all there's certain certain movements that you just have to look at and be like oh they did that No Limit like master P I will always salute master absolutely like you know I mean you don't have to put out another record ever in life do anything if I see him salut you have to man like well that's why listen that's the solange album when when people Master P was every n Lou boy it felt good it felt really good and now today when I look at QC quality control and what what they're doing that's from the master P that's when the master P handbook yeah yeah so you got a it's a great name by the way quality quality control for sure yeah and then is the Coach K quote that's running around talking about yeah I'm all about market market control control of the market he's doing it it's working so yeah I mean were you a hustler though you know you gonna find a way to make the most out of your circumstances and the opportunities you don't view cardi like that like I know a lot of times like okay and I was exactly how I bring it up because we was talking about and she they get a lot of flack for that Netflix the judges whatever the [ __ ] they had going on with that that show other they get a lot of flexes or the artists are well in that same thing no no certainly like it's nice to say it's the same the whole incumbents are artists are getting the flack the artists are only together because of the Netflix show so the show is getting this I was just wondering if Netflix was getting the flack for picking the people that they picked or if the artists were getting flack for being on a show of that nature no not the artists are getting slack from being a show on that nature Netflix is getting flack for picking those judges but cardies role is more like The Hustler role to me I mean that's what brought me here when we was talking bout the house [ __ ] car he's old smells it's exactly show please I mean I know where she came from I know where you know her story I went like I I salute her to like get me out here hope and cardia are alike in that sense that they were doing something else they didn't necessarily want to be rappers they didn't necessarily want to be rappers but if that's what's gonna pay and change whatever the life I'm doing over here that I don't like if I could I'll do that Bob said he's putting out one out might want to be a rapper yeah and it worked so he kept doing it because just look exactly when you a hustler and something works yeah keep working it and then along that and within that you figure out something else that will work yeah and then you start to look at things differently then you start to be able to look at the whole landscape of the market and know what's coming next yeah that's a big thing for uh upcoming artists so I have conversations with them they're like what do I need to do it's like do a bunch of different [ __ ] and start flying some [ __ ] trash it yeah [ __ ] sometimes being the artist is not necessarily what's gonna work for you sometimes it might be becoming an A&R right producer and executive producer like right I was a part of my retirement when my business accountant' started talking about music real estate and how to be a millionaire you often need X amount of revenue streams and when he said that to me broke as I was I was like damn and ramp they only let you get but so many like you have to do a little client you have to do a lot more it's a family to be okay oh [ __ ] this so here we go a [ __ ] never had a [ __ ] hand [ __ ] out of here that's why I see a lot of people yesterday when I say all your baby trying to cover my throw because people want to say Darren Ramos a lot of my [ __ ] and I write a lot on my [ __ ] that's a funny shitty cardi cardi no you don't mean either but no she don't believe that who cares just find a lot yeah no listen it does nobilis him she does because I shouldn't I don't give a [ __ ] writing no yes it pertains to her but you know she I think she because she I think she feels like she's getting it and she in flack for the judge [ __ ] it feels like she's not getting no credit for anything that she's doing like she doesn't she feel like she's not getting any credit for the success that she's having she's felt like people look at her like oh well you're just a doll that they put here and then it sound do this do that do this then you're just doing it in but you're not really creative so I understand what she's saying but more portly she says something like she said how hard is it to write just got to think oh yeah and I said that's not how it goes because I know a lot of artists that right when she said that it's a melody she's not writing I think your album no right yeah when you sit one's hard your album was hard to make what once she said that it let me know exactly how much she's not writing which again I don't care about yeah I'm not looking for that from you but I do perform those rhymes the best out of anyone who was ever writing them [ __ ] I only want to hear you spittin who's ever ghost right no [ __ ] again sin is in the studio now is the first time you know aspire and try and do whatever she's trying to do right she's coming to me saying yo you know what's crazy after you do six like six songs like then you got to figure out what else you writing about like what are you singing about like what song do you need so I'm in that out I'm in now so having that conversation and it's fun Familia yeah like you got to get outside your comfort zone go out go do something else put yourself in the mind state of some you wouldn't normally do because you got to figure it out carnies saying all you got to do is sit down and think to write no no you got experience you not gotta I always go back you telling me you giving away information without knowing you've given out and from your telling writers that you're not right when you say that always go back to Chris Rock with quotes 90% of writing is living you have to go out and live if you want to write some like it's not just sitting there like to sins point you could get maybe four or five records off just sitting and writing [ __ ] just off you pass [ __ ] but you've got to go do something I'll show her a little bit if she seems to be living a lot so maybe for her it is as easy as sitting down and writing about wish that's the other reason but I don't know we're right if her her music reflects she's not writing I had heard of this transition do you don't know where card how much money card he's making right this second a lot it's a lot yeah it's a lot it's a lot it's a lot well her last song was called money money moves and she's made ten million uh in three hours yeah that yeah that's what she is that that's kind of what she is she's gonna get a brand to pop instantly she's like instant pop like Lou will is instant offense she's like incident pop to something the instant pop people aren't normally writing every [ __ ] second and like you just not which it takes talent to do that it's just the writing talent yeah listen I told you all that of in 2012 or whenever that what it was a certain point where one of them shifts to drink without 5:00 p.m. in New York or some [ __ ] it was one brief moment it's the only moment I've ever felt like this in my career where I said okay I don't see how you have enough time I don't see how you have enough time to write this dope this often and be everywhere you can be there's a cheat code something's wrong yeah that's the only time I've ever felt like that in my entire rap career like because I write he I know what it's like to write heat you got think [ __ ] you guys and chill you can't just if you [ __ ] just writing heat every day and you at every Raptors game know how is it happening I have to know well that's why I'm goo row at home say blueprint to didn't really work I was like I was flying around the world at that point like I was really on my business man [ __ ] so the music suffered that's why surface lost the last however many battles he's [ __ ] because he went running around working it's impossible yeah it is I don't care how dope you are you can't you can't pull spades and play them you can't do both what you doing yeah you're gonna run out and that's well that's why Kevin Hart get to hate from a lot of comedians there's no way you're making all these movies and putting out an hour special every year yeah but it's medians have writers and [ __ ] in the old days it's a little different now they're kind of on the rap [ __ ] now oh yeah I want to yes there's a stigma if you have writers holo cuz this was a great segue I want us to stay on Drake for two seconds because to live did drink champs oh we're and this is how we gotta continue to do it when when is Tom oh no that's wrong clear here we go but he says to me in this man in his house been in the studio how living in Calabasas while Drake was there was hard on him because he was felt the competitive energy how when Drake moved away his he had his creative rush universe and which to me I would like you know how you let this next man affect your energy my I was in like this is something my felt but I didn't speak on mmm at the time now I see how the years played out younam's in and I feel like a lot of what he's doing Kanye wants to be number one he wants to be talked about all the time uh-huh and if somebody's talking he spent all last year talked about how dope Drake was in every interview Drake's the number one rapper Drake seing them all in a rapper I feel like he's triggered by Drake I feel like he's triggered by Obama calling him a jackass and I feel like he just wants to be liked and he's misinformed sounds like the President of the United States finally somebody says something that makes a little sense of what I've been witnessing that me know listen coming off of our cardi conversation where she said how hard is it to write you just got to think fast forward two hours in conversation with me telling y'all what she's going through and trying to write songs right this is even if I don't believe nothing that talented has ever said which is not the case this is very believable when you are a writer when you are a creator and that space is infiltrated yeah I could very well see a scenario in which Drake simply living in Calabasas affected Kanye West absolutely I don't think that's off only tie live need to be around Kanye every day just to get that I can hear Kanye saying that it makes the the behaviors that I've been watching make some type of sense it makes sense so he said it when he did they said interviews when they were doing watch the throne that they were like oh [ __ ] what's this new energy called Drake mm-hmm that he was like really stressed out yeah that Drake was starting to take over and it affected watch the throne he admitted this already years ago so that makes total sense I can definitely see that at 1,000 because you start to look at it's like when you in school and you look cool used to be in a cool dude in school Eric Eric Tina yeah and it's like all of a sudden it's kind of like oh [ __ ] like Annie's in my class like listen yes Drake is Eric Eric teenies because a lot of up we remember seen [ __ ] remember [ __ ] remember this shift when the girls liked Drake yes they didn't like him at first they loved his music but him himself baby I love you makes you sex sexy in you know and demand yesterday was just happy to be in these sweatpants and their hair ties wasn't really drink this is so super underrated record super oh my god I love this now we got let it rock this never gets brought up they don't know this is the total weight of how great this record is wait before I play this this is the record with hoe had enough enough tell me I'm lying somebody tell me online black Republican came out it was chilling and the fight was still even yeah [Laughter] [Laughter] don't worry about it his stupid sounds good you're right he's super smoke to the beat this one was crazy whoa whoa I'm glad you did because mall mall song about success okay and it's attractive so you know you successful women you know they like you not as my descent a little shot at Jay oh never it didn't matter didn't matter they both they both killed them no Jay killed more but one that specific recognize this thing but what's highlighted here for me is the black Republican record was the NAS record so if you if you didn't like that beat it was a few people who didn't like that because one of those pending that doubts I'll say that's fed into the whole nas beat thing yeah but I'm just have been the first that's all yeah come on yeah it's not that bad of a record but dawg when y'all go back that's the one yeah this is what success and that's why I'm not even pitting their their verses against each other this song sound like hold putting the song together that's right and black Republicans sound like whole probably just didn't put that song together I'm not saying nas did a bad job I don't know who put this on together yeah that way you can tell hold put this song together no we're finished with you speaking of nods did you guys see the film [ __ ] that he put out with the nausea I don't want to see anything about that it's like four of the all the records from this here I was shot really well but it did remind me that it just wasn't it cool but whoever shows respect whatever shot that shout-out to them I did like that it looked great I feel like it's really late to come with that feeling yes I was hoping we're getting something new what I saw the little teasers like oh [ __ ] that's definitely about too much too late yeah oh well yeah I'm cool too Anna and I don't say that to be disrespectful yeah no no no - salut - nas here's another one you gotta salute absolutely all right what else we got I want to talk about all some things I just hate talking to you all about cuz ya'll [ __ ] that's a fact though big facts so why do we think janae covered her Big Sean tattoo let me ask little Shawn I'm little Shawn yes I'm not little another is a real little Shawn yeah I'm doing my doc there's way too many yeah big oh my gosh it was I don't know we're gonna find out pretty soon bizarre we see we haven't seen them together there's been a while since we've seen Jenny and Shawn together well why don't we have any types of cargo 'no we're gonna see it we're gonna find out exactly what happened within the next two weeks I mean every day is definitely dropping or versus face right yeah yes yes that's a bad hand his neck it was like come on man these tattoos are a bad tattoo that's just Oh y'all gonna keep it of being or not man I it ain't over till it's over and even though you still understand their spiritual journey yeah what if jenay's likes seventh moon is in like its first soulless she could have pulled a different tarot card exactly yeah like I don't know what the [ __ ] cover-up like that's Hara what if a Tarot told her to give it its maybe Shawn changed his face you don't know maybe what if it was Tarot and tattoo week what if it was like henna from the Jersey Shore boardwalk what if that tattoo was fake do y'all think that Jenaya Aiko is still with Big Sean do you think what's the name of a little group 2288 2248 17 28 38 some password to your thumb trying to guess Bailey's numbers it's over them numbers hit 100 try to guess Bailey I'm happy for young bail he's young nicknamed a bale of Souls we leave how's his space game Billy wasn't the best babe you should probably call him good lottery player only Honda that might want him to keep his money I go keep your [ __ ] man he's [ __ ] wanna gamble with him no card sharks bring in my hundred and twenty five million or so you got the 125 right there million say you know I'm good for it that's the other thing how do you rob somebody that has 125 million because it's not on them you kind of got to take their mom I don't know he's from Harlem he might get that [ __ ] in cash and just stroll down like seven years always 7071 that might be exactly what he had it because he's never been anywhere oh yeah that's that's a man you should go ahead and buy build it with something that's great just try lies mom building yeah I'm happy for him for Amazon comes in well out of snow because of Amazon all the salt because they probably selling salt the same for same way uh conjugating them hired private firefighters Bailey got a higher like some private plow guys focus up save the neighborhood Big Sean China just go on about his business and not give us like not statements good one part cuz he gonna say something he has to in a single here's another one of course you think in a while that's what I'm saying it's Billy two years probably right yeah something like that I'm shutting up cuz anytime we talk about big showing things you say hey I was just about to say you hated them as a couple so I know you're very happy where people say that we hate I hate big the first offer sound yeah and then I had valid fan beefs the second album wasn't really all there that was my beef the third almost up though no but no before that there was a mix I was a little shady to know Detroit knows his project ever Detroit wasn't his first mixtape at that time no finally famous [ __ ] was this mixtape run and then he did the finally famous album but either way something happened back then it made me like you know anytime I'm often if it be music based I'm telling you you know dislike I don't think you dislike certain moves they make with music why would he do that if he would have some heat tomorrow the last one I'm never alone with you dark twisted I mean that doctor with the dark face sad one that was a good yes I enjoyed that out the one after that I liked I decided I wasn't a big guy yeah I decided I mean you know do say plastic lab it was this some joins that you know that's they vibe on the album cover yes well forget about stage diving etiquette okay because the legend Keith Maria soared performance he had yeah it looked like it was one of those banquet rooms banquet halls wait he's taking out that a wedding me me a job is a couple does little bit yeah VFW 25 life of Pablo came out oh and Allentown I think it would no I don't even know if it was out of town now this was out somewhere in the middle of nowhere sounds far that was a WoW yeah that was crazy way too many times we asked for the other half of 2500 [Laughter] no no no no please remember at that banquet hall I don't I think it was upstate somewhere and one it was like some dues that some local dues I guess they perform to the like a camera do of course oh this is the camera do walk in front of Joe this was the night on stage we tell the full story when we walked into the hotel room we found the backpack oh that was good that's very important Geneva Motor gave us the wrong room key yeah so you know we walked into the room was like we're gonna chill in a room just until Joe got it going whatever we get in the room and it's like back is when we pulled in it was like it was like a motel it was a motel you know what two rooms outside but it was a motel they'd look like a like a community center like like a it was like it was like that type like a project hotel there's a lot so that hours a lot yeah mad one level hotels in like a row in a maze there's the the rooms that didn't have the lights and that's where our room most with the lights on before before we got in there right we're going to Rome and then you see a bag and she said like who's who [ __ ] is this so naturally we started looking to the [ __ ] was a burner automatic weapon hallows it was cash hollow it's like yo dude we just walk it on the dope dude what the [ __ ] is going on yeah so we about that though they've really could've got y'all killed fam we talked about all that is on our way back to the cars like like it was like [ __ ] we're getting out of it so then the promoter comes he's like y'all gave you out of wrong key that's my room so now we're looking at the promoter like so we started we've selling him like because we took the burners we like [ __ ] get the burning right now know what worried some I ain't no [ __ ] killing me while I got it y'all keyed into a room that had people like that and we all know that was a drop that was a drop that was uh that was drop we went back to the car and then a promoter came to the car he was like nah that's my room and then we had a laugh about it gave his guns back and [ __ ] but now we get back on the stage Joe's performance so some local do right on that Highway here's also it's like a six shell six-inch stage like we're just yearly on the ground and he you know the the camera dude he didn't have stage etiquette all right so he keeps walking in front of the artists instead of I mean when you have a burner at a camera I guess you could know this wasn't the motor this was some other random dude so I seen it coming he did it twice Joe stopped him your fan with the [ __ ] you know you know Joe starts going crazy he told him one time like you know just don't do that yeah please and then it turned into something and then I guess the dude his peoples was the data in like the way Joe was talking they like yoga started throwing chairs and wattles Heineken bottles fan we had we first of all did the door to get out was locked that was the natural I was that was the out is locked yeah man we horse kicked that door man got in that car gone so want to go back no we got the 12/5 I wouldn't trade it for the world right by the way cartoon guy cartoon them no [ __ ] him up catch him he worked for me i'ma catch it fellas wait that was a punch listen during the break I was admiring save on swag save on use admiring save on got a three-tone windbreaker on I ain't seeing that [ __ ] since fifth grade miss Morgan like a three-time windbreaker some dirty grey sweats with the black adidas you know I have no other black on that's what let me know someone's in a dark place when they throw the black kicks on with nothing else black like that angel or me kill them with the contrast this nah man I am cos I save on save almost up man so most my [ __ ] seen that [ __ ] girl is never coming back to save all gonna be into more [ __ ] games any minute is Joe Budden pot why is he starting all these like I part of reason I hired you was because you are assertive but malt brings up a good point man like you can starting different podcast initiatives like on your own like I just wake up and you own the time I like alright who won the sleeper pick this week would you be doing in them Joe Budden pod dims X's just engagement oh the townhouse [ __ ] is sold out but I got tickets for you know it's in there who wants to win the exclusive VIP package fellas that's how you know you're trying to be single when you telling your girl that is sold out yeah I can get you a table we have listened a few months ago Rory moved in with his girl and then I promised our listeners that every week two times a weekend I would deliver updates on Rory living with his girls start using her stand out strong you start using her shampoos yet not been using yeah I used to people she had in her crib and buy it okay a little red beard be laid down lately Redbeard be laid condition s you're right I don't think worried be [ __ ] black chicks it is past the one that now you're [ __ ] married now but in his past laying down the red beard yeah so what a lot of coconut Rory you haven't been home since you moved in with your girl that's a fact that's enough that's an update yeah yeah after this Friday night as I know I'm I'm fellas yeah what the fellas almost the one lunch with the fellas that's a single day mom we didn't even offer to go to lunch no word I skipped lunch everyday [ __ ] you tronic so good pot hit you in your damn told my who wants to win lunch and save on trying to get lunch with somebody it's not us don't expect the fellas to beat it yes [ __ ] bum and save on its Sushi Samba with the fan that got puffed call hey save on if I ever did you mention puff naming you bet nothing about puff shiny suits nothing [ __ ] all right what else back to Keith Mary Moore yes I don't know a wild podcast it was just interesting man because I came in and I asked you guys I said yo how hot do you have to be on the charts because it stage-dive etiquette you have to know when it's okay for you to stage dive and this said you said that you do need to be hot on the charts these days and I said I disagree now you could have a cold gotta yeah that's why this what a co few as one psycho would usually mean that you're pretty consistent in pretty hot you know Cole Cole I don't associate with hot cuz Cole would always will always support you I bet you the ICP dude yeah I think I think one dive anywhere colt is loyal fanbase see we are hot is are you on fire right now see we are going okay so you need to keep Marie's night you inspire you at least need at least see the key probably was banking on I got a cult these [ __ ] will catch me yes so I'll you know I was looking at it and and you have to look at the ratio of how many people are actually there and who can support your weight you know what I would like to get into ages things too but you know Keith Marie's fans are probably a little bit older a part of that eagerness into account parks right then I looked at the video a bunch of four-year-olds gonna catch you yeah but then I look at the video and I'm like he asked he said so the crowd was not only today's he said should I dive with somebody because then he gave the head now I'm like okay maybe they didn't hear me yeah but usually when you say you should I dived the crowd goes crazy like yeah [ __ ] it come on Rose do it it wasn't really that response but then the legend keep my we took it upon himself to say you know what [ __ ] here you go I'm feeling a moment I never want to hear that Keith Murray took it upon himself upon himself and he go over to the crowd how was that they didn't catch think at all not even like a leg no he was on his back he's in Florida you pick a crowd moved and looked at him i yo fam like what what were you think is do most beautifulest thing in the world please what just keith murray shouldn't be staged over his music was a particularly staged IV Method Man was yes yeah Method Man doesn't stay job he walks on the crowd right which is insane let's move Murray should probably just keep his feet on the ground this song reminds me this song reminds me of you know old [ __ ] need to shut up Oh [ __ ] just shut the [ __ ] up podcasting anybody be from when I'm telling the rappers anybody be from with like the Drake run on a Kendrick run I remember when Keith Murray's was in and this was when all you [ __ ] were saying a bunch of just [ __ ] if it rhymes that was demos yes he was the all-time leader in like big words for absolutely no reason at all cannabis was Keith he got that from Keith okay yeah family yes that was before that was before so it was Keith did it would like the streets was like no 90s the 90s did have a moment with yeah I'll be word each other yes that's why I'm not mad at the usage of less words today because I remember the over usage of words and y'all was buggin y'all was buggin we've trying to understand [ __ ] I didn't know what no mo more would you consider stage-diving at our live show hmm no they'd be in seats I would never I waited I waited to the very end of my career to stage done I remember still handle and when I did it I kind of knew their retirement was in the near future so that's why I was doing it yeah that's all it was just bucket list [ __ ] cuz I was scared my whole career to stage dive because tomorrow I never had I wasn't I was I wasn't hot you had a cult oh I had a call a speed of the Middle East is gonna catch you well that's where I ended up doing it yeah when they were very emotional and vulnerable at the time so no if they could carry them well you surprised well that was yeah but that was the freshest curve that was pressure from who didn't crowd surf at departments that was fun that was fun because apartment 78 was so small restaurant it was all women yes we're like a few strong Spanish dope boys that like try to carry one hand just because their little girl ain't the one touch you the woman would carry you up there are things I did I did state dive in Middle East other than endo I was too afraid my whole career and even today watching some of the rap some of these [ __ ] are free to say diverse it's not a part of your thing you should be yeah because you happen like it and today though a lot of the shows are much bigger that's true so like I was in Middle East o's place wherever these [ __ ] are in festivals yes so if you drop it at festival first of all that's a long drop this is where every festival security that's I would have you have some hops I would have PT PTSD if I attempted that stage dive and the fans didn't catch me honestly for sure I would be I would be traumatized moving forward it does something to you as act sit down yeah belly flop it on that ground there's a lot of [ __ ] that just affects the brain is artists and I feel like the fans just don't have no I talk about yeah they don't know you don't know and they don't give a [ __ ] about it I wouldn't cut you [ __ ] I'm trying Jam sing your song come here to catch you I've been making noise we want to do added shoulders and chest today yeah yeah um what else is important Rory Rory come on give us some music [ __ ] man I can't believe you won't talk about music on this podcast that's all I've been trying to talk about well let's talk about it new music update you swear this is just a gossip podcast that's what I was saying trying to say you and Maul and keep us credible me and Parks trying to keep it yeah I mean hip-hop know Yalo trying to gossip me and more trying to keep it credible well keep it give me give me something what came out Anderson Pat did you guys listen sue nope one time now yet well why is it's like three songs over I've been busy okay well I've thoroughly enjoyed it Anderson PAC is his own genre I think at this point I wouldn't even know what to classify that music yeah it was groovy what a lot the live instrumentation [ __ ] was amazing I thought there was like a saxophone solo boy and his impact never gets depressed I feel he should get working let's see I don't know what that means when you say that because I don't know if he he may not but the team that he's Volare he does have the machine with Dre he would rather go out and play damn drums and sing that's the stage I know so we need somebody that knows that that pays attention to the other [ __ ] well yeah and it's impacts you get more should get more no I agree no I don't even know what to call his music this [ __ ] is a whole different experience no you know to vibe right vibes he tell us he blends genres well yeah he does and he's a much better rapper than he gets credit for as well yes he's rapping on this hello his La Liga freestyle was crazy but he had a not to like damper the mood but he had an interesting Mac Miller bar where he said how do I tell somebody to slow it down when I'm living just as fast as them mmm thought that was interesting no not me there's plenty of times I was hi Molly DUP and zan Twp and perked up and seen another thing I was like alright alright he's not living right he's not really handling the drug like what's up with him you want somebody squat all right nobody's gonna talk to that guy somebody needs to talk to him where's my outdoor case but somebody have to talk to him that guy is not performing that song loop to its full culpability I've been Marlene and Danny then said wait no y'all ain't been high and then seen another high [ __ ] like you stop you know absolutely I was high so I didn't say anything that's my boy right I'm saying you told it though yeah we living just as fast so like I definitely smoke weed and sat around a bunch of dudes and said to myself he got a problem like I know we all smoking but he's smoking that's some addict Shih Tzu not to call anyone in here an addict but when you come at it you see when you see somebody I know I'll see someone drink a little more about you at least I'm not like him yeah meanwhile I think double in my glass like where's the bottle at right no but you know when you drink and you walk outside and see somebody like sleeping their vomit you like I or just fighting the air yeah like he has a problem like or it's a great night I don't know not in this weather I've had a few green eyes that ended up at me sleeping in my vomit Jesus maybe when I say a few only two or three it's okay it's always an interesting story when you don't remember what happened well when you're not laying in a vat like when you when you just kind of leaned over the toilet and she'll tell me I'm lying I've been there sometimes you get home I just got a chill over the toilet you know sometimes sometimes the toilets cuddle game it's pretty strong well it's nice and cold porcelain that felt better than a woman in some nice [ __ ] dog master bro what I've been in cause there's only about I mean if I'm being honest it's only an eight-minute stretch in there will you feel like and God forbid you find the little bathroom mat I'm the nasty [ __ ] I get the comfortable elbow position on the toilet bye y'all I'm comfy on the toilet nah I gotta lay down on the floor lay down on the mat that cold sure I shoulda save your life as adults now that we having this conversation I've had really scary moments in the bathroom as an adult my house drunken night you know period let's say drunken nights the pill nights the hangover nights shower sex soap falling it's a dangerous place it salt I'll bet his occur almost occurred in the shower future I mean in the bathroom a few times waters just getting on the floor you don't know it yeah now you're just walking on a which wants to feel a little too well little slippery yeah oh my god we're in the shower and you pick one foot up things are going good without like a great grip yeah I am almost died at least 90 times in the bathroom yeah I think as you get older you lose the suction on your feet in the show we lift your feet up to wash your feet listen that right leg boy listen it that you'd be like this leg give out I'm going through all of this [ __ ] everything is breaking in the show you know what don't give out an agent like damn like what a the right side inside my foot just ain't the strongest ailments one of the worst things I did I was in high school and I was a shorty wet like the cool mom's crib which mean like you could drink in their basement and she ain't give a [ __ ] ever everyone lost her virginity at that house [ __ ] her her mom wouldn't kick I was drunk and I couldn't find the light in the bathroom when they had the furry [ __ ] on top of the toilet seat but it was dark so I thought just because it was dark there it must be open I pissed all over the furry [ __ ] like everywhere save I'm going to cover it for me and they didn't when I didn't hear Thai late' I said Oh at least you're sunburned no all over that so this was before like cell phones is really popping I just left I just completely left so I saw them the next day yeah what happened I had to go home I blacked out of my friend's house once and apparently I don't remember this foot I walked into the next room and he had like the the chairs act like the tall back and that you can lift up the cushion I lift up the cushion that's the toilet and pissed into the chair that's free chairs do be lying those I miss much like come on boy pissed my couch flip that flip that cushion unless you know how you know how your couch when the Christian has been on one side for so long the colors France baking though I'm like damn somebody probably flip the [ __ ] over fam I flip that cushion overhead I've seen that big dark circle I can say your family yo fam my bad yeah bad pushing any bounce like [ __ ] you leave it dismiss yes how do you can clean that where y'all ain't no spray with like baby soda no he's gotta buy a new couch ya never walk in the bathroom want some cool [ __ ] just like piss real quick but like he was wearing like a long shirt like a long jacket is some do you want to thing and then you just piss on the home on you sir when the long shirt stood out now is frantic I was so mad at Austin because Austin's was doing like the launcher shirt King and he was I know you got to get on the long shirt wave I was like damn I'm not on the long shirt wave I guess I got to get on it the day I bought it the exact same thing happened I come out the bathroom of the Airbnb is so Austin don't ever tell me to wear a long shirt again I pissed all over the city ricochet to your kicks and normally we've got a long shirt on you got some kick so long as you like yes [ __ ] I got it - [ __ ] lead a party but you ain't never took a [ __ ] and just I was just trying to talk about the album and she just fired you ain't never took a [ __ ] and got up and realized like you wasn't seated properly some of them walk ups in the Bronx the tallest don't be the big will you get a little bit on the back you gotta take a [ __ ] in the club and go back I will continue party cities home I definitely have rent ran into forty forty bathroom to take a [ __ ] this back when it was a new phenomenon that forty had the unisex bathrooms like this is early so I'll definitely have going to take a [ __ ] while [ __ ] was getting it in next door that was mad difficult now have you ever sit in the units cuz I'm the weirdo and it needs quiet you're gonna focus on I have like little mental rules no you hold I need some quiet man not a door gotta be the door guy to be close to oh yeah say by myself the door got in sync I said the [ __ ] outside the door is wide open if knob if [ __ ] when I'm home alone no clothes I could be killed goes to the extreme about showering - it's not a shower I take that I don't envision somebody walking in and killing me doesn't Styles have a sick-ass bar about that I want to kill someone why they taking a [ __ ] so the cops know what I smelled funny I was definitely as a bar about shooting somebody when they take an issue with one it was one week I was vision and stabs crazy I made a juice run said his [ __ ] come on man music dropped so you only one give us none he was really excited about Cree to Joe so I want to know if you ran to listen to the soundtrack hey Rory came in here to mount this is soundtracks bike I'm sorry pronounced back again bike I can't really picture Rory sayin bike she was talking about how he's getting around he said he said bike I'm the corny guy that favorited this Creed to review that was [ __ ] on the movie to come in here and read it so it could create me [ __ ] on the movie but then I felt really corny so I'm not doing that I'm not doing it but I had two movies bad people said it wasn't mad at it and I'll take the clone clone over the movie cool then Lenny s just be pissing me off like what a bunch of Lenny s Michael B Jordan picture when create is that they're friends I know I don't want to see the friendship goes in there like the budget thing is they don't like you why do I have to witness the friendship I don't want to do it it's a little sick sometimes people are a little too out there with differentiate yeah I'm sick of looking at [ __ ] friendship man just I don't want to sound like why you can't just be friends yeah go have a fight I like more with me more we do this podcast for like 700 weeks you never see a picture of me and Rory more [ __ ] it Spotify pictures they loved it was a try I didn't have a beard we look awkward we look like we don't take pictures together because I'm done with this I mean which we had to switch kinda like three times anyways well yeah we soundtrack spider battle gear we killing over there it's only us just like the other pic Spotify looking at old different metric yeah there's a lot of soundtracks by like hip hop artists yes with the blacks in Kendrick Mike with the Grinch Tyler I'm sayin isn't in there oh you all pretending to care about [ __ ] let me just come clean I don't care I don't I don't ender don't call me a grump you don't call me oh I don't care about sound krump the URL it's not waiting to exhale it's not like the Black Panther [ __ ] was hard I'm gonna I'm gonna always I'm gonna always support you going to the [ __ ] that you should go to like Kendrick have a black Mike well it was good listen going to [ __ ] in the culture and get your soundtrack great I'm not going to my phone to purchase a soundtrack I'm not you got you got to blow me away thought you didn't love the boomerang soundtrack like this isn't a new thing why can't you do it now and I went to a store to purchase it and when I lost that I stole my mom's and when I lost that bike like we got the boomerang CD at least 10 times in our lives I'm not going in my phone to get a sound tray you got to be really really really got to be stupid crazy I don't did you not think the Black Panther one was no I really enjoyed that oh I do too but it's I don't confuse what I'm saying boomerang waiting to excel like this certain soundtracks that were better than any album that was coming out I don't feel like we're back in that era Nutty Professor yeah net error to me now we're just in the error I'm saying it's an error in our part of the album of the year since we rented we're into brand integration today that's what everything is everything's into so cardi fashion OVA Kendrick Creed [ __ ] list everything is integration of Kardashian with anything Kanye and anything kiss Greg Lauren yeah everything everything is trying to travel everything is an integration listen I read an article a little while ago this talks about Apple getting ready to purchase I heart and while I have an amazing deep dive on it I'm not doing it yet but integration your business podcast and integration even the business podcast integration it's all integration integration worth way more than the [ __ ] music I mean you don't think it was that way before as well no you don't think Johnny Gill getting on that soundtrack was an integration of the time what sound true boomerang I mean I know his friendship with Eddie but like just all the people that were on soundtracks like you were getting TLC at their peak on soundtracks it was integration it was the same thing it was the same thing but now it sounds like it's way too much no I don't view it away now now we're we're involved and when I say we I mean very young musicians are involved on the business side of soundtracks that then from like a paramount perspective or from the artists perspective I think you're saying the same thing I think a paramount is going to a TV II now instead of going to the label they're going oh okay I see what you're saying yeah but I mean that's just the environment at that time they went to the label because the labels weren't the thing now the labels aren't the thing so they go to the artist it's just to me it's the same thing just in a different area all of it counting Bollywood doesn't always be the correct word here we think differently so we say the labels aren't a thing but the labels are a thing they own the market so so when you go outside of that and do something like here TDE y'all do my whole [ __ ] you are going against what the market dictates you should do like you're the exception not the rule so I always want to highlight when people are doing that don't take me saying I don't feel these soundtracks as much as I did some of the greatest of all time as I'm not [ __ ] with the movement that's happening cuz I am I want more I want more of it to happen but I'm just not jumping up and down you know the last soundtrack I thought was like close to being in that realm 50 shades 50 shades of grey the weekend would earn it they did to Beyonce crazy slow or slow remix they had a few joints on it it was like okay I can hear that y'all took a budget and it was solely for producing great a great soundtrack yeah what about a sorry to cut you off the wrong one that happy came from that was another one that you could tell that they put a lot of money in getting furro and everyone around him that there was a lot of money he did mind that I think he did well I will say just just to make a note though for that this Mike will made it album with creats who was also through Interscope so there may be a connection there as far as and what was that other soundtrack that what that future did every song that Black Panther it was on [ __ ] it's a wild movie I had the Rick Ross and sniffle Weston song on it Superfly okay you fly with a few job yeah I think it's dope man I like that trend I would just like to to get like a great great great great great soundtrack like album of the year were these soundtracks Black Panther I think it's a conversation I do too maybe I should revisit it's probably top 10 or 12 really good sure crit put out I don't know what you want to call it EP a single it's three records it's a maxi single yes [Music] maxi's I went looking like you ain't got the did you dub remix on the Nexus but the Christian is cool out I personally just love when crate talks that [ __ ] I think he's probably one of the more underrated people I think he could talk that [ __ ] next to any rapper but I talk that [ __ ] I mean introspective I don't really want deeper [ __ ] he got that with the King part 6 I love what was little King series I want to hear established artists two three song releases so I personally I don't think he needed this just because the album was so good yeah I don't think you need to stay hot you're not that type of artist but I mean I like the first record a lot others who are cool to song EP whatever yeah I didn't get a chance to listen to that 2 Chainz yeah he has music coming he looks like he's gearing up me announced his November 30 if release date was naming that champion chanting championship championship I don't like the cover in a name I don't cover looks a little I didn't hate the cover the name was like a little odd but whatever I don't know if that's really the cover but I've heard great things about the music means I don't typically hear the way I've heard how good it is is not typically what I hear so I'll take that I guess that's why I don't like the name of the cover because for everyone has told me how amazing this album is they've they all spoke about it like it was like a turning point album for first his career yeah I've got and I believe I hate but I hate that because when I hear that before the music I'm expecting some curse so much and then if it doesn't happen not saying that it's still not gonna be a good album but then if in my mind I'm already like programming to hear like some from a phenomenal [ __ ] and if I'd hear anything little less than that I'm disappointed but you know what even if I never heard that watching him over the past since he's been released I would assume this is a turning-point album I might have said that at some point in spakest that just watching him it looks like he's at a turning point in his career definitely yeah there's like earning point our there's so much to speak about and that's probably why champ the name championship might make sense like that maybe that's how it feels for him it's personal yeah yeah maybe he'll tie that together on album and then out regret saying any of this [ __ ] yeah I agree but I do look forward to the album November 30 if it's a good time from meek for Atlantic I'm still waiting before Ross announcement man this is that Ross music weather right here this is it LeBron said is coming say why are you laughing LeBron dude's name is coming I know I saw this week I forgot to mention all majors now I'm cool jameelah to project which is 9th wonders label was a compilation [ __ ] I don't know if you guys heard it parks yeah you'd be the one that I would ask but not being biased here if you want to hear boom bap that sounds like 2018 wanna hear new the new lyricist the legends black thought on there and [ __ ] and want to sprinkle in some RB yeah go [ __ ] with that album think they kind of covered everything if you're a music nerd some of the dope [ __ ] that came out yeah check out that Jam Allah to shoot we got a we got a uh salute and congrats to us snoop on getting his Hollywood Walk of Fame star round of applause along with you even announced to receive it do you guys think Snoop Dogg is the most famous rapper ever no most famous used probably the most famous face he's up there who else would be more likely nas please I'll be curious to hear this answer - yeah me too famous rapper ever Park would have to be up there yeah that's false Fame yeah for sure I think that's why I immediately dismiss snoop cuz I wouldn't not even music wise he just became I mean he just became a thing sort of like - I'm sort of like the whole I think a few years ago a mother knows who Snoop Dogg yeah like I read - snoop she don't know who pocket some one of the most recognizable faces in the world I'm sure in a few years ago I think snoop might be the most famous rapper ever he's up there he's definitely yeah yeah I'm not definitely in the common yeah for sure I agree on a short list for sure hello yeah sure Snuka LLB oh yeah now that was pretty famous too though no I agree well if you count will stop count well smigglesmith then I'll put Will Smith at number one yeah but I'm Snoopy's like a rapper a rapper I'm that count little Smith yeah wills music wasn't the music yeah he's not no big my grab artist to win a Grammy yeah but I'm so much for him then after that yeah I'm somewhat after that such a dick Will Smith had a pretty fruitful music career I'm not saying he did no ball portion of the world knows that he was irreverent yeah that's what I'm saying or knows it knows his music that's very yeah that's very but yeah congrats to snoop man salute oh yeah that's uh major accomplice who mili is suing for tonight I want to shout him out because I've been saying that he should sue somebody for a few years now and I've been communicating with him and we were supposed to get up and we never did I'm glad that he took initiative on his own and figured out a way to sue the [ __ ] out of these [ __ ] oh my round of applause to Milly happy for him that's all I got this week uh quickly did you guys see Swizz his explanation on rap radar about why he left the jay-z NAS DMX and Jadakiss record off his album to sum it up he basically said I didn't want to put that record on there cuz he streamed it with just when they were doing the beat battle so everyone's like no where the [ __ ] is that record right he said we're in a time where people would just run to that record and then forget about my album so I didn't put it on there so yeah that was my that was my response so yeah what y'all sorry Swiss he's like no one would in Alesha no one would try to quote discover the album I'm like Dawg you're gonna get the people that are gonna want us in the album and the people that want to want to click it [ __ ] get the people that want to click it and then the rest of us are gonna listen to that whole well but you still got to war albums coming out apparently according you know so hopefully it'll surface somewhere whatever man sways you should put that [ __ ] on there you would you of course I do it's all I got me too I'm done I mean a good evening as opposed to three all those data weighing it in the KD and Ramon we went into yeah but now they got clips that came out it looks like Katie said this is why I'm out of here this is why i'm hot yeah yeah shout out some mints and we won't get in the mall and the Knicks and his horrible sports takes this week only why do you think my sports takes up my support stakes aren't hard the fans are saying you had a spark when you started - Barbie tokens they just to read whatever pops up on any timeline yeah alright Saturday sleepers do I have one why was that called with return of the boom that well came back right what what when did it leave at that point that was early night I'm good I'm kind of being sarcastic but not really what why was it called it at that point why was called return of the boom bit there's a lot of like RB and R&B jazz wherever New Jack Swing Nabu is coming into hip-hop more dawn yeah want one group they were popular no I'm narrowing this wasn't one p.m. dawn was I wasn't this is 91 Oh p.m. Dom popping in 91 it wasn't poppin no dad one of
