The HORROR and GLORY and A.I. made castles!! with JAZZA and SHADIVERSITY

that's not bad that's pretty cool actually but I was using the modern Disney style mode to generate an elder ring style castle and that's probably the best one so far honestly cool but you can do the same in the opposite you get to get Elder ring to generate a Disney Castle yup yup I love this so much [Music] oh God exist greetings I'm shad and if you've seen the previous video on AI you might have realized that I'm starting to get rather excited about it we have tried to make AI generated swords with mixed results but something really good so the next stage in our AI exploration on this channel is can we make some really awesome AI castles and I'm joined by a very special guest jazza how are you mate good I'm really excited to be here well it's awesome to be it's awesome to have you here um we kind of we need to do the same disclosure every single video I think so we're brothers for those of you who don't know is there anything you recommend you see that you've seen similarity look at me from the side I think you take more after data I take more after mum yeah yeah and you know what I I think just personality probably if you actually I agree with that as well I got actually that's not that's that's not true dad's a bit obsessive so we certainly have the kind of creative streak that that really gets he's got that obsessive creative streak we did he was a bit obsessed with castles too if I recall trains more they were castles did he make a castle you make we went to crawl Castle I don't know it was it was there was some Castle there but my memory is what I consider obsessive he is no way me no but I am as obsessed about castle medieval stuff as our dad is obsessive with trains and Western stuff yeah but yes we're brothers it's awesome to have you here it's awesome to collaborate again we have done a couple of collaborations I feel like this is one of the like okay we share a lot in common a lot of interests um like you know art and even like look my level of skill and interest with medieval stuff I consider myself an Enthusiast I'm not your level so and it's a bit vice versa like you're an artist you consider yourself quite creative your writer as well but it's like obviously that's my obsession so where our Channel sort of there's a bit of medieval in my channel there's a bit of Art in your channel uh but it's nice to have the crossover every now and then we actually just had a collab over on my channel where we did the AI thing but really dove in deep so we're probably not going to need to give too much context in this video because we crapped on about it for ages over here my video which is what we like the whole reason this collab came about is because this is we just got fired up talking about it over a catch up at a family dinner I was having dinner at Jazz's place and I was just really excited about what I made until I show each other and then jazza was actually quite yeah because I I know the potential but I haven't had the opportunity to really sink my teeth into it and learn it to show it well and you've been doing that and what you showed me is like what I wish I could show my audience and we got to do that which I'm so grateful for thank you um but now I know you need a real expert on castles to review your AI castles because you don't want to get this wrong I don't so that's why I've come here to make sure because you know you know that you know the matriculations and yeah I like to call them battlements yeah it's a it's a coverall because I don't want to confuse people well it's true but just put it all in a nice little package battlements I'll make it approachable that's true because you actually you're combining I'm the translator you can get obsessive and do all that but you know what maybe you start typing matriculations and maybe I need about you know what AI is going to understand Battlement I don't know if they'll offer any value but we both share the same excitement for what uh tools can do and just because this is an informational Channel when Jazzy says battlements that is actually a catch-all term for the ramparts matriculation of the crenellations which include the Merlin and crinnell okay and they're all together so wait you have it correct yes the corbling as well that's part of the matriculations but you could just summarize it all yeah well done thank you thank you good job you passed this one I have stable diffusion locally installed on this laptop here just straight out of the bat we're gonna give it a go I was going to start with a complete Baseline to see what capability AI even has familiar with passes how did you do castle and see what it spits out joins between sections here I feel like that's like a round I almost feel like that would be rounded but it didn't know if it's flat around it so it's connected so this this was generated from scratch this is a brand new car it doesn't exist in reality it looks like it could it's not bad at all I'm like that's way better than I was expecting let's do a couple more just to see what the variance has it's just on the single prompt I I that was a far better result than I was expecting oh wow all right that's a bit more this is still just Castle yeah it is just Castle it's still a bit more now I can actually I feel like they're taking off some of the artistic renderation oranges of Castle Guillard uh going yard I like there's like this that that's an entryway yeah and then this is almost like a Pulpit where the the king might step out and give a speech this will look at the enemy or something this is legitimately taking references off real about images of actual castles and also some 3D renderings of castles so the sample set that is working off if I could actually recognize elements that's a bit weird but like I can see what I was doing but that's an odd person what's interesting about that is it's referencing something real it's referencing a castle that must have been demolished past a certain level and built up new on top or something because that's like that's like the uh the new built on top of the old look what I did with the matriculations or it has like these lines in between it's so interesting to see how it gets its resulting on what it's getting its information from Segway you know all this making AI castles has gotten me hungry and I've come back to my be quite different because we actually got some pretty authentic historical inspired kinds yeah so now we're going for a totally different flavor and it's going to draw from a different image look at oh man [Laughter] not only do we change clearly that's offensive fantasy style because most fantasy castles have big points and what I was going to say though is like there's a lack of detail there's a lack of clarity and sort of uh Grandeur and that's because uh and that's where these additional prompts and flavor text that people learn to use and add emphasis on things come in yes we're giving it the same prompt technically we're just saying Fantasy Castle Yes except we're saying make a detailed HD 4K Masterpiece award-winning that's not saying anything about the castle that's saying that the thing I want needs to cut needs to be that so stylistically technically cover all those elements and give me your Fantasy Castle same prompt but a lot more sandwiched in there to tell it to get something cool [Music] there is some janky things there right but oh look at that's like that's the cover of a book or album or something I'm gonna copy this prompt right and I'm gonna say send to image to image and then I'm gonna add the prompt back in so now you're doing an AI prompt referencing that castle and it had nothing to reference except for every castle and fantasy image of the world yes and it came up with that which is very good but now you're giving it the boundary of that image yes the same prompt and saying rather than search all over the world we like this make this really good and then I'm gonna up the resolution to so therefore it's forced to add in more detail I love this so much this is nuts how do people not know how freaking cool this is it's every time I look deeper into this technology my mind is more blown and I'm more inspired so look it's fleshed out it more it's added more detail this is what was very fuzzy around here yes you see how it's like mangled here and you don't know there's a there's like weird perspective issues in there but it's still very detailed so it is working very hard to give us what we want and then it's fleshed out even more oh that's so amazing well let's let's actually oh my gosh up the resolution tell it to add even more detail in and let's give it a bit more freedom to improve the design hopefully and I just want to add just throw a curveball we're referencing that but I want to say purple sky oh interesting so I'm I'm telling it to change one thing but it's still reminiscing that we might not have given enough freedom to fully redo the sky but let's see I love this so much every time I click the button I'm like I can get anything yeah yeah what will it do oh it looks way too fuzzy it's sort of like the purpose like that's weird so we've probably given a bit too much Freedom then it's like I think that might be a lot of purple sky hang on let me let me try Let Me based on what I've learned from you if I lower the ignizing strike that'll stick to the pose but if I I've got a CFG scale yes it'll reinterpret things a little more maybe take my purple stuff yes we got it exactly that's exactly so I want the castle to look the same but I want the color and the prompt to be adhered to gave a purple roof it did so yeah it gave it a purple roof should we should we expand this a bit more sure CFG I just want to see if the post says if you really want to put the purple sky in Brackets and let it like okay so it's not it's not quite doing it like purple sky so you're sort of saying double bracket double breakable Sky to be like purple sky focus on this AI you know like try to beat it over the head like we want you to do this this is incredible it's amazing this is insane that this exists this is like this is a unique piece of art that you can use however you want and no one has ever seen it and it's beautiful if I walked past this it's not doing it make it make my sky purple damn it and then in negative prompt can I go purple roof here will that in theory say it's not purple roof from describe purple clouds let's give it a go because imagine I'm a writer and this is my fantasy world and I think that is my castle right that is my perfect Castle I don't have the skills in this analogy to use Photoshop to change the sky purple I wanna I wanna tell it to make it purple sky because in my world disguise because if it's really not doing it what you do is just bring it into Photoshop and do a purple kind of but I'm trying to say like I want to see if we've just AI if we can how I want to see how far we can curate it wow it's getting some purple effects so it's pretty gorgeous though it is actually that's quite beautiful like the castle is very you mangled um and so I didn't say that yeah I just I thought it looked more like compared to the original that looks more like a storybook it looks really aesthetically pleasing like it's less grainy you know so there's actually a tool in stable diffusion to give jazzer exactly what he wants and I can't believe I forgot it it's called The in paint tool and all you have to do is Select that portion in the image that you want the AI to regenerate so we'll specifically only select the sky and with the exact same prompt that we put in before we generate a new image and voila we have a purple sky and we can do it again to get different results we're stuck on this one that was pretty fun well that was the first one we got from this prompt yes and then there you go like look at that parsley like it doesn't know where it's going yeah I could remove this in this part in Photoshop and just improve it isn't that funny the immediate reaction to that I feel like yours was oh that's where it went wrong mine was oh look at that pretty castle but the castle is a mishmash it's a bit too mangled but it goes to show like you know what works and what you're going for and so you can see that to to fix it right that's pretty good like wow like it's what I love about the AI it has no restrictions in and it'll even it'll even make it oh God it has a purple sky doesn't it that is really interesting so um if I if we add purple sky yep um sorry I'm not going to let it go it'll eat more easily added in because it's not being look at that so now we're using a completely different model that the AI is working from and it's a modern Disney style and one of the things that has is the Disney style castles and so I'm really interested in order to make just just Castle modern Disney style okay that's pretty beautiful that's not bad not bad let's give it another go but you can instantly see the Disney and it doesn't need yeah so using the different engines is a very interesting thing I I am looking forward to just learning about the different engines people have sort of realized and how do they do that so because it's open source so it's different coders finding a way to channel ai's attention yeah through specific sources training it off of a whole new image set rather than saying all the images of the internet good luck with your problems yes it's sort of saying we're focusing on comic book references exactly yeah okay exactly that's cool I don't mind that one all right do a couple more give it a shot I do have something very cool to show you next day every time you say that it actually is something cool so um so I have a model that is trains the image of the Elden ring style so we're telling you to use modern Disney style and Elden ridge style that's not bad that's pretty cool actually I was using the modern Disney style mode to generate an Elden ring style castle and that's probably the best one so far honestly cool but you can do the same in the opposite you can get Elder ring to generate a Disney Castle yup yup oh I love this so much that is awesome and you know what's not not only do we have a purple sky yes which clearly makes a good Castle scene no but what's fascinating to me is this is doing more to generate cool and unique castles than saying HD high quality 4K atmospheric we're saying take this style and mash it with this one you sorry use this style engine give me that style and make a castle and it's actually doing really cool stuff it is really cool wow which is I think oh my God oh good but I think this really highlights the where the real strength of AI is yeah the prompts are cool and all but it's if you can tell it that is that we're getting some yeah right this is and this is every single one is fantastic yeah and I think it comes down to if it knows what you want and two style like Elden ring Disney Castle it actually has much more clarity in making something cool for you without too many words really cool so what do you like about this one Mr Castleman okay okay so what I love about this one actually has some history it's got a second roof line but it's also on a very distinct Square Tower which is very reminiscent of the Germanic style castles and stuff especially how it kind of changes the style and then it's got their like you know the half timbered kind of integration with it and it's on a prominent Peak like that's that's a really cool element about that one so would you change the prompt um would you keep it simple like Eric Castle I'm Gonna Keep it the same and just see what it does when we um up the detail and give it a bit of freedom okay that's getting pretty cool that actually added some really cool elements in like the side Towers it's changed a bit it changed a lot but it did decide it picked a direction and it's got more Focus oh it mangled it a bit do it again oh you're holding back to the original silverback you like the square edges though so I do I do I I don't mind the addition of those Towers on the corners but it was a bit too mangled um and Abstract it became so if we talk to them stick to the original and try and give us something that's pretty cool so bad so just to see what happens interesting that actually I'm seeing some similarities to these castles actually in Elden ring from that so [Music] that's actually pretty cool that's pretty cool so yeah focusing on a different style gives you a completely different acidic based on what is SketchUp you had open yes you had open because you have made castles I have designed castle and we are going to screenshot your castles and get stable diffusion to make freaking cool versions of your castle that's the hope all right I haven't tried this before okay and so I love this though because you you've been doing this for years oh if you've been making and like the fact that this is possible that people who invest their skills in 3D modeling obviously creating a fantasy depiction that's like a book kind of equalities are totally different skill set yes but to enable people to visualize and complete their Creations in that way with AI oh yeah like one of the troubles I have is trying to get a good render of this thing and if we wanted to give this a bit more of a guide as to uh um what colors to follow so if I say let's make that green um and you just speak like the whatever green just whatever green yeah Evergreen um like that yeah and let's I don't know tell it to do I don't know why this is my thing in this video sure all right make something cool I think it says fantasy to me you know what I mean yeah yeah go magical this could be really tricky I might be I I'll find out we'll find out okay because I haven't done this before so I'm like Cloud there Cloud there so it's really not like high pressure on doing like you they you're just giving it something to to reference yes and so let me just say that grab the I don't I don't know what I'll do all right that's about as good as we can get we need that I'll say this needs to go up high otherwise it'll be especially when you have a loose reference yeah like that and so uh what do you what would you change around that Elden ring we'll keep that let's just keep it let's just see what it does oh my oh my not all well yeah okay okay well I don't you know the Castle's sort of cool and more realistic you know I would actually get rid of the background now um you want to give it a lot of freedom to do a really good background but that'll alter their Castle design way too much and so I would actually do the background and castles separately or or okay okay I hear what you're saying that's kind of a cool style though stunning 4K uh fan uh so that'll do fantasy landscape um purple sky swirling clouds magnificent perfect okay it's actually awesome that's actually awesome that's actually really cool so now yes yes all right all right guys so you're going for that and then basically what all we need is just stretch the sky up yeah yeah we're on the same page purple sky there you go I I feel like we need okay so yours is quite harsh contrast so if we go I'm just going to grab the background grab the levels and bring it up the darks bring down the lights and I'm just being a bit cheeky here I'm actually going to add a clipping mask a gradient and purple oh yeah I'm just trying to tell it that the castle is a part of this scene so by doing that maybe a bit of pink on this side and then get a blending yeah just pick a blend mode so like even like even that soften it just a little just something you know what I mean yeah yep yep I see exactly what you're doing and last thing is I'm gonna grab a burn I actually feel like I might be helping you I actually I I love what you're doing here okay so uh I'm useful in a Shad video so just giving a little bit a little bit of Shadow oh you know you're doing that all that all under the ground yeah the shadow on the ground I reckon you need to add some harsh Shadows on the actual building then okay all right just on the on the bottom end so look it doesn't have to be graceful but if we're if we're making it a picture that makes a little more physical special absolutely what people are saying do you see how much Artistry like even jazz is just quickly adding in here to get the best results possible pause that fantasy landscape was made from scratch and it's actually amazing this is actually a legitimate real version of like you know the like the the meme of TV shows where it's like zoom in enhance Zoom yes you can do that actually is that this is what we're like a family so it's a it's a bit much for people which is why we try and contain it and put it in content I'm excited me too I think this has a shot oh that's pretty cool that's actually not bad like it's it's messed up some of the design elements but it's me it's merging into the background really well it really has it's given and yeah a really clear sense of scale and and that color that scheme that's actually that's pretty cool give it a little more freedom do it again oh look at and look at that yeah oh my God and this is where you could render around oh my God oh wow wow it's blended into the background and oh this is gorgeous and you could do the thing where you render and render it yeah like I absolutely would this is stunning we could even Chuck a doubt back down a little bit because like the Scott get a sky you want get it look at how to find the chronology the matriculations are on the tower and stuff and you absolutely absolutely at this stage I could keep generating and then get the best results out of them it's it's keeping quite a bit of the original in the terms that the castle looks a bit separate from the background yeah but it actually gives it quite a bit of strength in the composition I'm just curious to see with a little more freedom if it's going to blend them together a little more yeah organically just because obviously the castle 3D render is very different stylistically pretty cool man yeah I Chuck the freedom up again Eric and reckon oh it's mangling it now see now we've given it too much Freedom so it's up up here and that one needs to go down a good shot you reckon yeah even more I'd say so this is the balance that you need to try and figure out then you find a sweet spot and then you can get the best you know what like the up lighting like that has really good depth to it Jazz look at that Valley back there oh look it's I'm interested to see how you would piece together your favorite bits of each one yeah like this is at a point where now it's a you think it's mango you've got a formula just keep going and piano that added a really interesting Center Point to the thing and so and it might come up with something that you think oh that improves my design like you might want to change your design if it and this is the other thing what I do as well sometimes I adjust the freedom based on what I'm focusing on so sometimes faces that get too mangled as I reduce freedom and only do it until I get the face right and then I adjust the freedom to get things so if I wanted it to the fact that it's respecting the contrast and colors I find really interesting because it makes it so much more usable oh if it was tweaking too much about that so I I chucked it back down to follow the design again and I would do this to get this center part yeah because it was mingling this into part too much and so with these crank the freedom to get great background exactly exactly and then and so this is then giving me okay options like we actually got the windows on that one and so it's like all right this is so insanely cool it is really cool we're getting some really interesting but what I love about this one is what you did to add the background and the atmosphere yeah and it's like this really epic kind of thing I'm not a glad I could bloody help you know I I feel like I actually contributed to your video Castle experience but it does go to show it doesn't it didn't take much aside from generating an asset mixing up with what you wanted to be the best Tower sorry yes go yeah I think it really is that balancing act and like we've said many times in this video and in mine um creating the assets and creating the prompts and then and picking the artworks and mixing all together is a new skill but it is a skill in and of itself um and there will be Industries built on and careers built on the ability to work yes it will just I wanted to give it a lot of freedom just to see I it's so creative and so sometimes it just what oh that's cool though yeah so that's basically it's redoing the entire entire composition but uh it is interesting just to see what it makes based off of all right you have this much kind of input what will you do as a result wow that's pretty beautiful that's actually really nice that's a fantastic like that would be a great book cover or like yeah you would want to fix up just like some some of the odd part but absolutely like for like there are Castle designs where they are very chaotic and this does K this can do cat like really well in the back of some tabletop time role play videos we have we need a really widescreen environment but previously we're just like Google image cropped something that looks appropriate blur it out enough that we're not infringing on copyright then that's all that's the limitation because yes whereas now it's like with tools like this you can actually like give me a super wide screen and get me exactly the perfect environment and you have unlimited resources to do I mean this environment that it just generated it was the first watches first one I came up with give me this one give it another crack same prompt that came up with that also came up with yeah [Music] wow like fantasy landscape is a there's a lot for it to draw from in that and so the creativity is just like look at what's so cool it's crazy so there's not a there's it's there's so much potential with this and we've got some really interesting results like that is that's my favorite wow that is 100 my favorite I know you're going to be picky about but yeah but look at the Hues of blue look at the other castle and buildings look at this look how big it looks because we can see rooftops down here three stairs come out and colossal mountains in the far background and the framing of this stormy sky I love this beautiful glowing Golden Lights that is gorgeous that is gorgeous stunning so honestly like the castle results that we've got out of the AI like some mangled but some look pretty gorgeous my mind was blown based on what we've already done today and then coming in to do this my mind's been further blown like every time my teeth sink deeper my mind is more and more blown and it just goes to show this as a train that can't be stopped figure it out and you'll be able to ride it oh my God stop it what's going to keep going because they're all so good it's addictive yeah this will become a new like dictionary defined addiction we have gone more hours more than we scheduled yes this is so fun it really really is thanks for having me here doing it with me because it is heaps of fun and just to see that like the concepting in like giving you different ideas that you can work with and that's that's the strength that we've found with this one just like with the sword one where it's got fails but there's ways you can absolutely work I knew before our meeting today like before our collab that with the gang Dev I'm doing personally with my team that we're going to lean on AI more to free up our human resources to focus on the art and stuff we want to this is absolutely proven that like to me I'm like this is going to save our artists so much time to do what we want to do yes by doing the stuff that we don't have to do better than we could so we can do the stuff we want to do and like that is the opportunity it enables you to put
