The HIDDEN DETAILS in the Bells Hells animated intro 👀 | Luboffin

it finally happened we got an animated Bell's hell's intro hello welcome my name is Luna your local critical Ro lawn nerd and there were so many Easter eggs in that little intro and I wanted to break them all down for you so let's get into it so we open with this epic shot of Matthew merer as always I love that there's as he slams his hand down there's like a little sword coming out of it which is sort of the same sword as in the critical roll logo and then it moves over what's kind of like it almost looks like a battle map uh like the terrain uh there's the malas key side but there's also buildings there might be estas Manor I think some of it is also uh the city of drar and basas and we also get these like minis of some of the main figures or main NPCs that he plays so we have Liliana we have the nightmare King and ludus I'm actually not sure who the red jacket is I think that is uh General ranish but I'm I'm I'm just realizing now I'm not sure I'm going to put a little note here if I work out who it is I love that odan is at the Forefront of this cuz I think she's such a badass she's like one of my favorite villains and then the stones build up to form this portal to the faay wild covered in flowers where we meet of course our beautiful Fay creature Fern uh she has flowers in her hair they look a little bit like oanda oanda is her father's name I was kind of surprised we didn't get a nari reference in this little scene like maybe the house in the background or something but then we next move to this scene of arum training with Will and Derek in zephra we can tell it's zephra well because that's where he's from but also there are these beautiful cherry blossoms trees you can see kind of the like mountainous surroundings of the town as well as these gusts of fog like it's there's these gusts of wind uh will is of course arum's uh husband and Derek is his father-in-law and it breaks my heart watching them just scatter into uh Blossom leaves on the Wind having of course died we also have this H beautiful shot of Orum sword the sword that was blessed by the wild mother you know allowing him to cast that sort of grasping Vine spell next we have Bertrand Bell what what a throwback Travis's old character entering the storm after his death along with on the left we have the Lumis twins uh which was a really like integral part of the Bells hell sort of investigating in the early part of the campaign and on the right we have their Patron lord estros rip I will always miss estos who was one of my favorite NPCs then running from the storm of course we have imagin she has her purple lightning tattoos or lightning scars I should say and then she's sort of falling down back down to Alexandria as if she is falling from ruus itself we then cut to a scene of Ashton being hurdled out of a window this is of course his backstory how he was hurdled out of Gian hexam's house when he was trying to do a robbery and hitting the ground which is how he sustained his head injury as well as his other injuries it's uh such great details that he doesn't have any scarring any of the uh sort of Crystal head business here in this first shot but then once he hits the ground um it becomes shattered and fractured which represents like a bunch of different things it represents how Ashton's body itself was fractured and you know injured uh the yellow bits of the fracturing represent the liquid gold that Milo used to heal up some of Ashton's wounds as well as that fracturing uh representing dunamancy magic and how dunamancy deals in possibilities and Alternate path lines like very cool and then we are on the sky ship the silver sun and I I love how Ashton's uh head there is sort of like going rainbow and as lorda comes in I really love this little detail about how we see her uh ear jewelry because as we know brutally when she was killed by the brierwoods um they mutilated her ears to look more like an elf so that she would look more like Vex and she now has this jewelry that she wears to sort of cover that up so that's just a nice little detail horrifying as it is and then of course they all go tumbling off of the sky ship which is a scene that we saw during you know one of the many travel montages when they had the silver Sun the silver sun do you remember when they had a sky ship and they could just get around really easily or also if you look really closely in the scene though you can see Fern wild shaping into a bird and picking up Ashton as he falls down and then of course we get this beautiful scene of lorder and imag and hugging next we have another scene in the faay wild this is actually when they first arrived in the fa wild to go and visit Nana Mori there were these like weird plants that would sort of scream at them unless they like played music to calm them down so I love how phone has her little pan pipes and how they're all like cuz the flowers are screaming at them from here we cut to a truly tragic little moment of lorda puppeting Pate but then there's this really quick shift where it turns into Delila puppeting lorda so Sinister and then we of course see Lord in front of the Dead Sun tree that she remembers from when she was murdered but you know with the power of love and friendship it's like resplendant once more in all of its autumn colors and this is hearkening to the beautiful scene where they all slept Under the Sun tree following Lord's Revival sort of when she started to take on that more tree likee form of dread uh and just yeah it was just it was just a really beautiful scene from here we cut to the pretty tragic and devastating sight of fcgs former party slain by himself in fact you can kind of see part of his uh head on the floor there um because we know he had a damaged ocular unit and that's what he was seeing through so that's what this red eye like right here is and then it pulls back do we see fcg in his murder robot form he's trying to buz saww them but AUM gets his grasping Vines pulls the buzs saw aside and then they all hug and bring him back to himself that's not quite how it went down in the game there was a lot more uh attacking and a lot more of lner digging her claws into his metal skull and like going really to the dark side but you know this is a nice little scene next we cut to chetney carving a little rocking horse toy um we can see his RTA tattoo on the side there before he transforms into a werewolf with this red glow in his eyes indicating the presence of ruus that was once there influencing him before he went through the Gorgan ritual that sort of took that presence out of him and then we cut to an epic battle scene we get all of the characters in The Shot here just like ready with their action poses chetney is activating his flame claws that he gets from his blood Hunter ability and then you can see Fern uses her fiery teleport with mis in fact Mister is kind of in a fire form at the front of her staff here and I think this is the scene where they were fighting these plants from the fa wild that seem to have seeped through to the material plane these s of carnivorous plants then next we cut to the streets of bassas you can kind of see folks on crawlers here fcg is using his grappling hook ability there and then he also has his spiritual weapon in the form of the changebringer coin that's a really fun little detail and then of course we see Ashton's rage his um one of those rages that forms multiple Echoes of him in sort of like a rainbow striation as he's attacking super cool I love how he slams his hammer into the ground very cool very fun then we see lorda with an Eldridge blast back to back with of course her best Y imag and she takes on this form of dread this sunry form of dread which is truly horrifying it's really really gross seeing and animated but I also loved it and then imagin is using her flying ability and her lightning powers to take on some of these kind of Echoes which then cuts to Orum and Orum is fighting odah Han's Echoes you can see these are her dunamancy Echoes from her backpack and then it transitions into him fighting odan herself again I love oan I love this seed so much she's so badass just look at her go and finally of course you can't do an animated intro without the battle shot of all of them and this Echoes the shot of them from the first animated intro for bells Hells the one that is animating the players rather than the characters and looming over them is the malas key as the Aurora the magical energy of the weave glows above them just a couple last little details here you can see on Ashton's jacket it has the just don't and you can also see Fern's kind of blackened hand here with her black claws if I missed any little like
