didn't see you guys come in there welcome welcome crazy that you're here i'm andy i'm about to do another reaction today's video is called world's best guitar player unbelievable it has almost 90 million views um it has 600 000 likes and almost 100 000 dislikes and it is something of a controversy amongst guitar players online from what i understand about it it's just a kid who did a performance one day and everybody thought it was amazing and they put it on youtube in 2012 and now it's become this huge thing looking at the comments here most of them seem pretty positive they may be deleting the negative ones but hey it has 90 million views it's called world's best guitar player unbelievable let's take a listen an instrumental priest called gratitude please welcome amen to funny very confident entrance very confident entrance sounds like he has some family and friends there ladies and gentlemen i have uh composed a song for you it captures the highs and the lows the yeses and the no's and the friendships that i know will outlast our fame i decided to call the song gratitude guy's pretty famous for the gratitude that i felt for being here okay looks like they're double miking i don't i don't understand how they're making this it sounds relatively blown out frankly so maybe maybe it's um oh and he's lefty of course maybe that's why it is [Music] and he strings he's playing a flamenco style of guitar i know i mislabeled a paganini piece by steve vi in a previous video as being flamenco as opposed to classical my humblest apologies this young man is clearly a flamenco guitar player he has very very fluid right hand very very fluid i cannot move i play with my fingers i cannot move that quickly i could not [Applause] [Music] whoever did the miking is terrible [Music] very polyrhythmic this style of music [Music] kind of a middle eastern valley [Music] [Music] do [Music] all right i'm gonna try it i'm not gonna succeed but i'm going to try it [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah not very good okay so he's better than me really fun way to play very rhythmic um your hand it's your right hand you have to have a very fluid right hand mind is nowhere near as good as his obviously is i wonder what he does because he's at the kennedy school of government which i don't think they do music [Music] [Music] i guarantee he plays [Music] [Applause] bongos very confident performance all right [Music] [Applause] hold on [Music] oh he has something at the on the back of his guitar oh that's cool there's a magician too he's a he's a polymath multi-talented i wish they would mic him better they don't like him more not his fault that they did not like him well and coming in first place for the talent show we have no drum roll anywhere thank you amin for gratitude i mean too funny everybody else is like oh i didn't know we were supposed to be professional flamenco guitar players i just presented my thesis didn't have a magnificent performance to go along with it i wonder what he does i really hope i don't hate his politics what if he's a horrible i'm sure he's a good guy i'm sorry it's very political time oh i was in the back you guys we're still thinking about the thank you okay yes enjoys praise this man was very i'm surprised he's not a performer for being here this is truly a wonderful event reminds us all that we are truly one hks this is the first of many years to come have a wonderful night all right so i understand why it is a controversial video because a it's mic terribly b he is not the world's best guitar player see it is not really unbelievable i mean he's a marvelous guitar player if i were going to nitpick things about his performance okay he you know has a few miss hits and things and there there's some tonal issues i think he's probably getting some undeserved hate here because it's just it has so many views and it's so prominent like if you put in guitar solo you're gonna get this video um and there are frankly better flamenco players out there they're better guitar players in the world so it's not a it's not a really accurate title but he is a terrific guitar player i mean first of all it's not really a guitar solo it's a piece that he wrote he makes some mistakes that's okay i make mistakes more often than i make corrects so um you know no hate there i mean i understand the argument that for guitar solos in general if you look on youtube greatest guitar solo of all time you should have things probably before this if only just because of how horribly it was miked um but it's clearly inspiring people okay here we go according to the goog armin tufani is the ceo of t labs creator of adaptability.org and chair of finance and economics at singularity university singularity university i don't know if that sounds good or bad it's hard to where do you go oh i got a singularity so he's an adaptability guy who also plays guitar that's a that's a good argument for his adaptability stuff right if he's adapted so well that he's also like a professional level guitar player i am going to give him 600 0001 likes although i'm sure i'm not the first one
