The Greatest Cartoon Network Show No One Talks About

hello you nerds I want you to take a look at these three bears in particular a grizzly bear a panda bear and a polar bear now you may think these are just ordinary Bears to you but if you stack them in a certain order you'll start to recognize the iconic bear stack that I'm sure you've seen wandering around at literally any place you can think of but more importantly have you ever wondered what's it like for three bears to live in a city that is what wee bear bears is all about wee bear bears is this fun Slice of Life cartoon that follows the simple daily life of these three main Bears Gris Panda and Ice bear while they attempt to integrate themselves into our civilized society mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area these Bears seem to be struggling to find their place in our world whether it's getting food making friends trying to become internet famous or even getting a job I hope I don't have to work at any 9 to-5 job like ever but we can't be too mad at them for trying to fit in with us they're Bears after all it's what they do that's the magic of we bear bears there's just so much charm and creativity to it that even both children and adults can enjoy and there are many things to love about this show it's cute it's humorous though not exactly the funny as compared to Smiling friends and Ed Ed and Eddie the intro is very welcoming and is sung by the voice of Garnet it's also very deep and can be very emotional and overall it's pretty heartwarming not to mention that the art style has this children's book kind of feel that I strangely find both warmth and comfort in especially with the watercolor background eases my mind when I have to study for my College exams and it's all created by a man named Daniel Chong the concept of these Bears was originally created as a way to make his girlfriend's niece laugh this would later turn into a web comic called the three bear bears although shortlived it was an interesting web comic that showcases the different scenarios these bears would act on the three bear bears would eventually get a pilot in 2014 a great pilot about your typical Adventures the Three Bears would usually embark on I personally find it interesting how the cave looks a lot different than one we know today and also the pilot has ice cream cake holy how did they know I love ice cream cake then a year later we bear bears would officially air on Cartoon Network with 140 episodes 15 shorts and a movie to end things off damn I can't believe it's already been 4 years since the show ended I remember the first time watching the show when it first aired and I thought it was pretty neat though it didn't resonate with me at first as a kid but now that I'm a grown adult and decided to bench watch the entire show let's just say I'm really appalled that there aren't many people talking about it we already got so many good videos about Steven Universe the big three Clarence and all that stuff but not we bear bears seriously though this show got merched everywhere there's even a wee bear bear themed Cafe in Singapore you don't see a Steven Universe themed Cafe anywhere in real life do you I heard from a college friend of mine that stores like meso have so much wee bear bear stuff I've never been to meso before but I would love to go there someday just to buy all that cool stuff we've also seen references references references I don't know if I'm saying it right we've also seen references to anime bua Asian snacks Korean drama and K-pop even collabing with Monster X and this is coming from a Southeast Asian guy who has barely listened to K-pop and have never watched a single K drama in my life I only watch anime and Read Manga the show also had Bo Burnham and t p special guest had an Easter egg in Fallout 76 believe it or not and teamed up with Nintendo which is why I'm making this video because this show barely gets all the attention it deserves yeah I know I'm terrible at making jokes also I don't plan on talking about the spin-off Series in this video Even though I find it amusing that Toby Fox the creator of undertale made a guest appearance in that show oh sorry about that I just get nervous easily we bear bears centers around these three bear brothers named Grizz the extroverted leader of the bears panda the introverted soft one of the Bears and Ice bear the mysterious gifted of the Bears these bear Brothers live in the iconic bear cave that looks like a really fun place to hang out and when I say they're Brothers I mean they're adopted brothers who are three different types of bears all these bears want to do is to live among us humans and for some reason no one not even an average person seems to care or even question the fact that three bears are C espcially roaming around the streets but what makes these bear special that I'll try my best to explain starting with Griff he is the eldest the leader and the most friendly of the Bears a bear who wants to make sure his brothers live a long happy life he's also very outgoing as he's usually seen Tred to befriend the humans but he doesn't seem to understand social cues or boundaries like he always tries to chime in on whatever activities people have going on Uninvited and when he tries to invite them over they just don't seem interested maybe the Bears just need a bigger TV or something though sometimes he tends to act a bit childish slobbish and he likes to eat a lot usually Grizzlies are glutenous for the winter but in this case Gris can't hybernate but we can't be too mad at Gris after all making friends with all kinds of people sounds like a dream come true I mean who's he going to share all his s and bagels with and more importantly who wouldn't want to be friends with this happy gol lucky grizzly bear even though he's loud and Reckless at times he may be a grizzly bear but his optimism is so strong that his big bear hug can release all your anger and let's not forget that he loves to help people you can always count on him to take out the trash Walk The Docks or even Save a Pet from a crazy scientist for you heck even his cheer can boost people's performances there's no way you can bring down his optimism right you know despite not growing up with any parental figure all he wants to be is a perfect role model for his brothers being the oldest sibling that he is he cares a lot for his brothers and tries his best to do what's right for them setting an example for them even when he's not good at it his brothers will follow him wherever he goes even joining in on his schemes because that's what families do that's what Griz wants to do to become the best Alpha bro there is hopefully Griz isn't one of those alpha males that believe in the whole Matrix crap but why become the best Alpha bro maybe that's because he loves action movies so much so that he decided to create crowbar Jones a web series that involves one of the greatest action heroes of all time he is the master at everything known to man and wants punch the guy so hard he sent him to space so the rock Tom Cruz aror Schwarz I'm not going to say it and Todd Eagle crowbar Jones the best of the best and also love how panda is an exaggerated version of panda if there's ever an official crowbar Jones series I would unironically watch that we need more of crowbar Jones and a super duper awesome skills for the world to see seriously though that would be amazing next up we got the Pan Man himself pan pan I mean Panda the middle child shot and the most sensitive of the Bears sensitive because he's physically weak allergic to almost everything you could possibly think of tends to be a whiny at times he's afraid of German 95 I'm just kidding he's afraid of germs he's vegan has an inhaler and he has to wear contact lenses why so weak so weak he also has the cutest sneeze panda is the link that holds the Bears together making sure they stay out of trouble and being knowledgeable when it comes to technology he also likes to spend a lot of of his time on the internet going through social media posts dating apps and watching a lot of videos probably vtubers if you know what I'm saying and maybe a bit of trash taste podcast which makes him chronically online so chronically online that he can post 50 Snapchats in 1 hour and he tries so hard to become a social media influencer but fails miserably at it and he's very attached to his s did I mention that he's a wee which nothing wrong with watching anime because I also love watching anime I even made videos about it if you ask me he's probably the type of person to play a lot of genin impact in hunai Star rail why play these games when you could just play too instead you can see that panda is a huge anime fan that he even draws one himself why does he have a catsa not to judge his artistic skills or anything but what is this why does he draw like a third grader trying to draw anime if this was his art skills since he was a cub then I don't know how he didn't use that time to improve couldn't he just like I don't know study other people's art styles watch some tutorial vide maybe he's just purposely holding back like in that one episode where he painted the best pitting ever I wish he could have used that to whip up some sick anime art and since he likes to Read Manga he should probably start reading this particular manga series called Blue period great manga by the way highly recommended since Panda could learn a thing or two about art while he may be great at his creativity and knows a lot more about technology and the internet than the other Bears let's not forget that he sucks at talking to girls not once in the entire Series has he got a single girlfriend no joke he would probably cry over an internet girlfriend who probably doesn't even exist have you seen what his search history is like I don't think I want to know what he does in incognito mode and he tries so hard to be cool like driz but it's too cute to do so maybe he should have used his cuteness to attract some chicks but I guess not even his cute sneeze could get him a single girl emotional damage the only time Panda did get a girlfriend sorry scratch that got a fiance was when he wore clothes which in hindsight I can see why panda decided to dip because who the gets married that fast at this point he'll probably resort to watching some self-help channels or even worse watching alpha male podcast and you want to know the funniest part it's that pandas are bad at meeting I guess that explains why he owns a body pillow and I'm surprised that Panda has a clean room for a weave compared to the weaboo not to mention that he could touch grass because he's a panda and pandas live in grassy are is but is that all there is to him as much of a selfish Dingle he may be there are moments when Panda can be a really great guy such as that time when his brothers were heading towards the sun he was willing to sacrifice himself to save them even if it was all fake or that time he was willing to stay behind just so that his brothers could Escape he may care a lot about his precious phone but when it comes to his brothers he'll happily sacrifice his phone just to make them happy you can see that Panda cares so much about his brother's that he'll even played the role of P even if it means embarrassing himself not to mention that when it comes to his friends he'll cover himself with germs just to save them despite babysitting a kid just to get with a girl he'll risk his own life to save the kid because he realizes that he sees the kid as a friend and there are times when Panda has to learn things the hard way such as when his Crush got the coolest boyfriend he got salty about it but it wasn't until TP himself had to tell him that he should be happy for her because after all the only one who can control your emotions is you a lesson he learned from crowbar Jones when the Bears were saving the foxes from a building being demolished Panda had to sacrifice his body pillow just to save a baby fox who does that maybe that's the lesson we should learn from him it's that we should learn to let things go for the better even if it hurts I know I've dunked on him for being girl crazy being terrible at drawing and being a bit unbearable no pun attended but I have to admit that he could be a decent guy and cute as well but it doesn't change the fact that he has lrz and then we have ice bear the youngest of the Bears the best of the Bears the strongest of the Bears a bear that can sleep in the fridge and the bear that can only speak in third person I ice bear can't bear to be without his Frosty FL unless you hit him in the head this sto of a polar bear is a master at everything you could possibly think of he can cook he can clean he can drive he can speak multiple languages he can dance like a true party animal he can wield any weapon legally he can build robots an underground bathroom and an unregistered vehicle I don't even know if that's legal or not and he comes prepared knowing when danger arises so he can fight like a true warrior put him on a map with Patrick baitman you can best bet that he'll be the winner but he can't play the violin for some [Music] reason although ice bear is quieted rarely shows any emotions he delivers some of the best lines of the entire series all ice Bear's friends are future enemies ice bear appreciates they didn't force romantic subplots ice thinks he's a solid six the world isn't ready for what Icebar can do which fits very well with his dead pan personality he even has this trusty Roomba that can do all the cool A nor Roomba can't do and if it ever gets stolen he'll pull a John Wick and do everything to get it back while he likes to spend most of his time alone doing his own thing one must wonder is ice bear a criminal it's worth noting that he's wanted in Singapore has access to a shady website hates being disturbed when in the middle of something we don't even know if his weapons are legal or not and who knows what sort of heinous crimes he committed to become a wanted criminal Kon um isn't this the truck we had to give back Kon we already know what one simple coffee can do to him after all it is said that polar bears are the most dangerous bears in the world I guess he won't be beating the criminal allegations anytime soon at this point the world isn't ready for what ice bear is capable of doing hell he could become president of the world and rule the world like there's no tomorrow and may I remind you that he trained a bunch of kids to become capable Warriors did I already mention that he can build robots with missiles maybe that's why he's a wanted criminal they must be terrified by the power he has to deem him a threat he is Unstoppable as long as there aren't any cucumbers around all that aside he's actually my favorite character he may be the youngest but he cares deeply for his brothers doing most of the chores cooking the best food there is and saving them whenever they're in danger he's basically carrying his brothers literally even when gz sister leader and Panda's holding them together without ice bear they can't function while ice bear may be emotionless the only times he showed a bit of emotion was when he thought he lost one of his brothers when his seal friend was dying when Captain krabo had to leave and when he lost a parental figure also is it just me or is ice bear a lot like Osaka oh my God and that's basically the three bear Brothers since we bear bears is episodic there's no telling what sort of Adventures these bearss could embark on they could be on a road trip go shopping appear on multiple television shows getting attacked by a giant fish monster I don't even know how that's possible or even having a runin with the pigeon cartel pigeons man I guess people can't trust any pigeons these days I wonder if they sell any drugs oh and what about that time they pretended to be dogs for about a day I guess no one can tell the difference between a puppy and a 500 lb bear even getting jobs doesn't seem to work out for the Bears like that time they ran a food truck or ran a cafe you know how that went they even repl repl the animatronics not related to Five Nights at Freddy's or anything but no matter what happens no matter what unfortunate circumstances happened to the bear Brothers they still look out for each other even the smallest wins can help uplift each other like when they scored one point at a basketball game or when their video reached 10 views and a bot comment they just celebrated anyway because what else is there to lose they even tried renting out a mom but realized that they still have each other they raised each other because they're a family and it's these unfortunate circumstances that bring them together that is the importance of family and it's what make these Bears special just make sure the Bears don't go hungry you've most likely seen the Bears going on some fun adventures as adults but what about when they were babies that's what these Baby Bear episodes are for these episodes are centered around the Bears when they were cute little cubs traveling around the world with no sense of direction trying to find a home but nobody wants them I mean let's be honest is who the wouldn't want to adopt these cute baby bears honestly people are stupid for thinking these baby bears aren't cute enough for them I mean we already know the Bears would live in a cave at some point but still at least some people do want to adopt them but I'm pretty sure the bear Cups have such high standards but also if they do get adopted and they grow big would they live the same life as Boo from Open Season probably the only times the bear cubs did find a home was when they live in a mansion once but the gorilla was too much for them they lived Liv in a sand castle but the big waves weren't too nice to them they lived in a video store only for about Christmas and they almost lived in a sewer but left because it smells let's face it only the turtles would live there if these bear cups aren't trying to find a home you still get episodes where they could be pretty much anywhere around the world they could be strained on an island go on an airplane travel all the way to Japan to help a Ramen Chef they even became paper boys at one point went to school and became Power Rangers in their imagination the Adventures of these bear cuffs may be cute and all but when you watch more of these episodes you'll start to realize that their parents are nowhere to be seen we don't know where or what happened to their biological parents but it breaks my heart to think about how these adorable baby bears were left all alone possibly to die and it got me thinking where did these baby bears come from and how did they meet this is where we have individual episodes about the origin stories the first time we see griz's Origins was in this episode where Griz gets attacked atted to a giant burrito you know grz being attached reminds me of the people from TLC it may seem like this is your average wee bear bears episode but when you get to the ending you'll start to understand why it's one of the most emotional episodes ever made Gris was abandoned all alone stuck in a tree until a group of firefighters rescued him we don't know why or how Gris got stuck in a tree but you can see why he was obsessed with that giant burrito earlier he then gets adopted by a lovely Canadian family I mean a TV crew to have him start in a a Canadian [Music] sitcom Gris doesn't understand the concept of a TV show as he starts to believe that the other cast members are his real family when he gets replaced by a cooler cast member he tries so hard to win them back but learns that in the end cast members get replaced easily upon realizing this he starts to understand that a real family is about love friendship loyalty or something which is something he has to discover for himself so he quits to show to find someone he could truly call a family maybe finding other kinds of bears who are just like him not much is known about Panda's Origins but it all started way back in China I mean it's already common knowledge that pandas live in China like Po from Kung Fu Panda panda was all alone in some sort of facility following a routine which is to wake up eat bamboo do whatever and go to sleep wake up eat bamboo do whatever and go to sleep wake up eat bamboo you get the point to compensate for his loneliness he interacts with inanimate objects as if they're real people like this mechanical box or drawing an imaginary friend who doesn't seem to happy until one day he finally made a friend who was a doll but you can tell how excited he was when he finally had someone to talk to even if he's a doll and who knows what this doll is really thinking for us to comprehend he then discovered the world outside the facility in a form of a television so he deviced a plan to escape but it wasn't what he had in mind because he didn't know what a TV was he then discovered a bigger world that is the real world but was soon caught trying to escape and sadly the doll I mean his friend had to sacrifice himself to save Panda so that he could go on a journey of his own I guess that explains why panda didn't hesitate to sacrifice himself to save his brothers watching his origin story made me understand why panda is the way he is him being isolated from the outside world is probably the reason why he's socially awkward and has trouble interacting with girls we have have no idea why he was in that facility to begin with but maybe that's why he's on social media all the time and why he's desperate for love maybe that's why he relates to that fat vampire from that Twilight ripoff and his human counterpart he wants to interact with someone who's just like him who gets him just like how I want to interact with someone who's just like me you could say that I'm like Panda except for the part where he's desperate for love I'm not interested in dating let's just move on to baby ice bear you may think ice bear is all perfect and cool with his skills and personality but no one is born perfect in fact his backstory is a bit heartbreaking it all started in the Arctic all alone trying to survive after his parents were seemingly killed he barely had any skills to survive on his own that is until he met Yuri Yuri was his mentor a father figure he taught him everything he knew how to cook clean fix wield an ax learn the Russian alphabet and he became so good at math that he even taught Yuri himself it was at this point that Yuri started to see him as family even teaching him the most important life lesson will'll never forget you see the world may be unkind to you maleni but it benefits no one to return unkindness with unkindness promise Yuri you will always be kind to others ice SP soon discovers that Yuri had a family of his own possibly long gone by now so he decides to make him a gift possibly to remind him that he's not alone but it made him angry whatever happened to Yuri's family must have devastated him ice bear felt sadden after running away but then got trapped knowing that he was in danger Yuri decided to save him making sure the poachers didn't go near him and to me it's honestly heartbreaking to see that Yuri had to lose him to ensure his safety but at least ice bear has Yuri's axe to remember him by and Yuri will still remember the good times he had with ice bear after arriving in the UK he was unfamiliar with this new environment that he was struggling to survive yet again and it's where we meet a couple of delinquents that ice Spar decides to join them and learn a bit of Street smarts to survive and causes some Mischief kind of explains the criminal habits he has today I spare felt like he was a part of something but it led him into a dark path when trying to get revenge on those who mistreated him he remembered Yuri's words that despite how terrible people can be towards you you can't return unkindness with unkindness and then the cops shows up everyone panics but ice bear uses his quick thinking to escape the cops and right after saving the delinquents they part ways on good terms and so ice Spar goes on a journey of his own so whatever happened to Yuri not much has known about him since but I was hoping that would be answered in icy nights for real though the vibe kind of reminds me of Hotline Miami in John Wick 2 I guess this is arguably one of the best ice SP episodes where we get to see a sight of him that we didn't know existed going into his past a little and I wish there was icy kns 3 while these two episodes are mainly centered around ice Bear's Roomba the main thing I want to talk about is the relationship between ice bear and this character named Jana these two knew each other for a while possibly in love one un Adventures that we never saw throughout the show and it was revealed in icy kns 2 that Yuri is Jana's Father which is why I wanted icy Knights 3 that would have been a great way to answer questions about Yuri's worout the only Theory I can come up with is that maybe the tech Gang has something to do with Yuri who knows not to mention Yuri's act whatever happened to Yuri's X did something happen to it it's why I'm disappointed that wee bear bears ended too soon I want to know if ice bear Yuri and Yana will ever reunite again and maybe how ice Bear Lost Yuri's ax maybe make a movie about it just please I want to know for how these Bears met grz was wandering around the world in search of a new family it was there he met Panda who was stuck on a train track until the train was coming ice Spar saw that they were in danger and saved them from their impending doom this is where Griz made a promise that no matter what they will always stick together and become brothers for life they may be three different types of bears but that's the best part what's important is that they're officially family and I don't care if you say oh they're just milking the out of their cuteness shut the up this is Peak storytelling right here like come on without these origin stories how will we know the obstacles the Bears went through to get to where they are today or the fun adventures they had how will we know the reason Griz became overprotective with that giant burrito why panda talks to inanimate objects like they're real people or how Ice Spirit became so skilled at everything when was the last time he felt emotional just by watching their origin story I don't get why some people don't appreciate these Baby Bear episodes but overall it's pretty interesting to see that these Bears have different backstories what I think truly makes these baby bears special is that even even if they do get adopted separately they just want to stay together it's why I said that's the importance of family earlier because no matter what unfortunate circumstances they're in at least they'll be able to go through hardships together like a real family I'm terrible at explaining things but you get what I'm trying to say right with that out of the way let's talk a bit about the web comic as you may know we be bear originally started as a web comic and you can tell that the designs are a lot different than the show but it wasn't popular when it came out and I don't think I see a lot of people talking about it or going more inept into it which is where I come in let's take a look at the web comic and see what these bears were really like before the show existed this one's about the Bears drinking alcohol and getting drunk like demoan from Team Fortress 2o although I'm not entirely sure if the Bears are allowed to drink hopefully I spars the one driving the car because otherwise the Bears would be in massive trouble this one's about the Bears withdrawing money from an ATM ooh and this nice gentleman in mask is selling his knife a panda is still generous giving him money to buy a new wallet too bad he left so early I wanted to know what else he was selling got a broken fan let's fix that with duct tape there all fixed everyone knows duct tape fixes everything this one is pretty much the first part of this episode and this one's about the Bears playing tag for a little girl hopefully nothing goes wrong again oh did Gris just kill a child I did not expect we bear bears to be so dark man what I find interesting about the web comic is that each title starts with the topic of the comic and then just the three bear bears notice how this title reminds me of goldilock and the Three Bears and then cross it out because Gris killed her gr's personality is a bit pler than his extroverted self and baby IceBear can speak while he doesn't in the show but can't speak in the spin-off series the best part for me personally is that I can hear their voices from the show when reading their dialogues by using my imagination ation of course throughout the show we've seen the Bears try many ways to fit in with us humans and be seen as cool like when they bought toad bags for that reason only for them to buy way too many bags than necessary or when they tried become internet famous just to be respected but nobody watches them except for this one it's honestly sad to see how these bears are being treated poorly by some people and you can see that only the force animals understand their struggles but why though these bears are adorable how can anyone treat them like while the show may be manually about the Bears trying to fit into Human Society you'd be surprised that this whole show is an allegory for what it feels like to be a minority and the reason the Bears are being treated poorly might be simply because of how they look like I don't understand why some people would treat these bears like for just looking different when they could be the best bros they became the best bears for their friends wedding won a Mexican wrestling tournament just to pay for their friends hospital bills and even help help the guy achieve his dream of becoming a singer we can put ourselves into their shoes and understand where these bears are coming from because we all want a place to belong a place to feel accepted regardless of our background and be treated like a normal person you also got to appreciate how the show's representation doesn't feel forced it doesn't need to shove diversity down our throats it just shows diversity like it's a normal thing which is why we bear bears has one of the best representations in any piece of media combine that with well written characters you get one of the greatest shows that both children and adults can enjoy which is something that Velma can't [Music] do now that we've talked about the main characters and their desire to fit in let's talk about the side characters and see what makes them unique starting with Chloe she's a 10-year-old Korean child prodigy who is attending college a lot smarter than gioan if you think about it she first met the Bears when she was researching them for a college assignment the Bears agreed to help her out and eventually became friends I mean the Bears did try to sabotage her presentation because they wanted to be seen as the coolest animals on Earth because they're Bears which I will admit their poorly made edits were pretty funny but seeing that no one else was impressed the Bears felt guilty about what they did so they decided to be their true selves and save Chloe's assignment so they're still great friends afterwards though as smart as she may be she often has trouble making friends in college who or adults and you can see that she's more comfortable hanging around with the Bears luckily the Bears are here to help which probably ended up embarrassing her since they do not understand human interactions but everything still works out in the end I mean it's just the thought that counts the Bears care so much for Chloe that they will do anything to make her happy they'll go on road trips together help her study for her exam work Under Pressure pull the best prank on her cousin and when they mess up their Christmas dinner they make things right just to make her happy that is what makes them great friends but the one that is closest to her is ice bear and I just want to say the bond between these two are one of my favorite moments of the entire series just look at these two playing the piano together look at them finding the perfect Christmas tree look at Ice Spirit struggling to retrieve her favorite hoodie from a main eating puppy you can see that ice bear cares so much about Chloe that he is willing to risk his life to protect her from an albino alligator or an oncoming train that's how you know how sweet their friendship is I swear we need to protect Chloe at all costs I also find it refreshing to see that Chloe's parents aren't one of those stereotypical Asian tiger parents who force their kids to get good grades kind of like how my dad is pretty chill with what I do and while my mom doesn't care that I'm a game design major as long as I graduate on time and make money then we have Lucy I mean she's cool I guess not much to say about her other than the fact that she is voiced by that girl from The Office a terrible dancer and the girl Panda obsesses over to the point of babysitting her brother just to impress her but later becoming friends but I respect the fact that she always comes prepared for any allergies then we have Charlie a crypted Bigfoot who I'm sure a certain YouTuber would be happy to cover oh would you look at that I guess he already did anyways Charlie's like that one neighbor's kid that we desperately don't want to hang out with it's no wonder the Bears have to put up with him because he has no boundaries he breaks into people's houses unannounced he has an army of snakes he is dirty as I wish we could just clean him up right about now oh wait he is probably the type of person to say help and he is very lonely and I can understand why Charlie has been alone for almost his entire life trying to live a peaceful life and that time was spent trying to keep a low profile because of his fear of humans and cameras because they just want to take pictures of him without consent the only ones he can truly call a friend are the animals including the Bears despite him being a bit annoying I think we can all empathize with Charlie wanting friends to hang out with and we can all agree that Charlie's one of the silliest characters in the entire show heck even the Bears care so much about him that they'll scare off the Locos just to save Charlie's private Lake and they're willing to lose their reservation at Chicken and Waffles just to spend time with him I mean they could have just saved some of those delicious chicken and waffles for Charlie for being a great friend that he is but whatever let's not forget about the friendship between Charlie and Panda at first Panda doesn't like being around Charlie because he is dirty and doesn't know personal space but as the series progresses Panda starts to become more comfortable around him even though he doesn't want to admit that he is his best friend because he already has one some notable examples of Charlie being a great friend to Panda is when he carried him all the way through the city despite being afraid of humans and he is willing to drown himself in toxic waste just to save Panda and in turn panda is willing to do the same as much as Charlie is afraid of humans he wouldn't want to wish any harm on them like how this dick of a Yeti thought killing them would be funny but Charlie knew this was wrong and of course there are times Charlie did make a couple of human friends like that Mexican guy from that time he was traveling in Mexico over a 100 years ago for some reason which also shows that he might possibly be immortal and Ranger tapes after she stopped trying to chase after him and eventually teamed up in that one episode speaking of Ranger tapes meet Dana also known as Ranger tapes she's a badass forest ranger who dedicates her job to protect a wildlife all in the name of justice but one mistake can make make her quitter job and sell pine cones online somehow you can tell that she loves her job very much that she takes even the simplest smallest things very seriously like when her perfect sandwich gets stolen she literally had to interrogate everyone until we find out it was her dog who stole her sandwich to make things more insane she once costed a major car crash in the city just to save a baby bird just make sure the bird doesn't go near German 985 she's also the leader of the poppy Rangers and her badass personality goes so well with her leadership skills she wants to inspire the young girls to become something greater because they want to be like her and she'll enlist the help of gz to do so after all dress is perfect for being a positive role model his cheer won him a kickball game in that one episode and he has the responsibility to keep to poy Ranger tape from any harm and make Ranger tapes proud not so much of a cave expert though Ranger tap's personality leadership skills and determination are what I admire about her it really pisses me off that people would belit her just because she blowed things out of proportion she's passionate about her job more than anything she knows when the forest is in danger for miles away and she wants to help people and make the world a better place even if the problem seems small because she cares that's why she's willing to help the Bears whenever they need one that's why she stopped chasing after Charlie to expose him to the world because she realizes that the forest ranger should be protecting the wildlife including charlyy and in my opinion that is what makes her a great character then we have darl most people would think that he's just some pathetic dweeb that sells mouse pads and lives in his grandmother's basement but I say he's actually the coolest guy out there he once got himself arrested at the airport just so that he could bring the bear Brothers back together and he also got to marry the coolest wife there is if there's anything bad happening to Daryl like when his St was about to shut down no matter what happens he just stays optimistic because the Bears are there to help him that's what I love about darl and if I ever see any comments saying otherwise well then you're just stupid ha you AR stupid not a big surprise like come on I think we can all agree that we need a darl in our lives too bad he has less screen time I wish we could have seen more of him especially the Bear's counterparts Griff Tom and Isaac these guys are a lot like the Bears except Griff is a badass Mall Cop Isaac sleeps in a walk-in closet and Tom has a very bad sense of fashion but he's still best friends with panda funny thing about Tom is that he reminds me of a couple of my IRL Asian friends who also love watching anime drinking boba tea and listening to K-pop except for the kidnapping part and most of them play genin impact valerant and League of Legends I on the other hand barely played any of these games and choose not to and would rather play Team Fortress 2 instead is what I would have said if valve actually got rid of the Bots anyways I don't have much else to say about human counterparts other than the fact that I just know for sure I want more of them you know I've noticed that there are a couple of back own characters that we've seen multiple times like in SpongeBob we've seen the mailman multiple times and Dr Clark as well would be interesting if these guys got their own episode about their daily lives just like how Fred got his own episode oh and what about officer Murphy he barely appeared in the show but played a huge role in the movie I think he should get his own episode too not Ralph though Ralph Ralph is probably the type of person to punch a guy and then say it's just a prank bro it's just a prank and finally the last side character I want to talk about is nom nom nom nom is a cute internet celebrity who happens to be a dick he's exactly what every shitty celebrity would be like when they become famous a selfish greedy jerk who only cares about Fame often acting like a spoiled brat with anger issues which is pretty fitting for a koala exactly why some people would say never meet your Heroes Nam Nom will do everything it takes to stay on top even getting the Bears killed just to do so which I doubt he'll ever stay on top consider considering that Mr Beast just became the most subscribed YouTuber of all time maybe num nom should consider collabing with Mr Beast I could already imagine him in the Bears in a Mr Beast video like I just bought this entire Island I have three bears and a koala and the last one of you to leave this island keeps in or maybe just put Nom in a boxing ring with Andy Banks and that would have been Peak content also I can't wait to see the look on Carl Jacob's face if he ever watches this video I know he's a fan of this show anyways because n Nom is so famous he will get away with almost anything because of his so-called cuteness like we literally got an episode where nomnom got cancelled for a brief moment and then came back up like nothing happened if Nam Nom got canceled today he would probably be in one of those rise and fall videos like these and then have moist critical say something along the lines of today we're going to be talking about the once beloved internet star that is num nom and after look into this situation I just want to say that holy I do not expect num nom to be such a douchebag dude literally fell off way harder than the time I fell onto my as cheeks while ring the mopy huge and if n Nom ever makes an apology video he would probably say something like I have made a severe lapse in my judgment and I just want to apologize that he felt hurt by my actions I was depressed and I was in a dark place and all that I've recently been going to therapy to get the help I need and I recently got this cute puppy to make myself feel better because I I'm important and I'm totally not reading this Office script or anything so let me sing you a song to show you guys how sorry I am something like that he'll probably still make videos if he chooses not to acknowledge the existence of cancel culture in Num Nom's mind the only thing he needs in life are servants really yummy food and the internet so why would he need friends when he has all that Fame right well here's the thing only his fans see him as a cute object rather than a person and when it comes to parasocial relationships even Nam Nom himself is scared of his own fans this grown ass man has stocked num nom just to get one of his fingernails do you see how creepy that is anyways they generally think num nom is their friend when he doesn't know them personally and as both YouTubers lewick and J sled would say none of your content creators your favorite ones including me are your friends you're a number for me I I don't I'm sorry I don't love you I could tweet that I love you but that's not true and when I see relationships being formed like this that that are just so one-sided in nature I can't help but feel kind of concerned again my is a TV show the TV show will never love you the characters have no idea who you are they're not even real it doesn't help that n Nom has anger issues and suffers from loneliness like in that one episode where he thought he had a brother but it turned out he was a fake so it's unlikely n Nom will ever form a genuine relationship that is until the Bears came into his life most notably Grizz at first n Nom treated the Bears like dirt but learned to soften them up as the series progressed every time Gris came into his life he always managed to bring out nnom soft sight and it shows when he admits to Griz that he is the only true friend he'll ever have because he cares about him and from this point on I hope both grz and Nom Nom stay best friends forever hopefully as long as he stops being a dick entirely there will be a point in life where nomnom is going to realize that Fame isn't everything and there will always be someone better than him like Mr Beast so he might as well retire while he still can just like all the other YouTubers that have retired if there's anything I've learned about these Side characters it's that most of them struggle to make friends and I kind of find that relatable because I used to struggle to make friends as well and it's something I including the other characters am working towards improving on to this day even after I do manage to make some friends in college maybe that's why this show is very special to me because there are moments that I can relate to a lot especially when it comes to the internet and Technology what truly makes we bear bears a modern show is the pieces of technology that are way more advanced in today's world something Marquez Brown Lee would be excited to review like these phones for example or that home assistant that is 100 times better than Google's meet schori he can literally do everything that this lame ass Google home assistant can't do he can make any meal you want reorganize your or even put on some shows for you if you're a lazy I wish we had that in real life but will these pieces of tech H into foreseeable future who knows but with the rapid rise of AI I'm kind of scared of what the future holds for us but let's not worry about technology too much when we have the internet to talk about Weber be shows a lot of references relating to memes pop culture and even YouTube well only in the early days of the internet back then YouTube was a positive place to post viral cat videos memes and share your creativity with the world but nowadays it's all about becoming famous is farming content blatant copying plagiarism getting sponsored by rage Shadow Legends clout chasing and being fake all to make some money I mean nothing wrong with becoming famous and making money online as long as you're passionate about making videos and not throwing away your morals to do so while some might argue that the usage of these internet Trends can be considered cringy I personally find them pretty Charming even though some of them may come off as trying to be hip and cool and all that stuff I mean smiling friends can do it better but to be fair this is a 2015 show after all even the writers are aware that some of these Trends and memes become obsolete so godamn quickly I also find it funny how this web show called morning with Mary kind of reminds me of Philip to Franco scarce and of course the garden gnome when it comes to covering internet drama that no one cares about oh my God who the hell cares throughout the show we've seen seen the Bears try multiple ways of becoming internet famous but unfortunately their videos don't go viral overnight of course it never goes viral overnight you got to learn the whole YouTube game first try studying the YouTube algorithm maybe try studying Mr Beast and learn how titles and thumbnails work and if they want the Bears could try to make their videos over 8 minutes long to get all that ad revenue or resort to making short form content I'm looking at you tapes just show us how to make that goddamn Pine coill man already nobody needs to know about fire safety and some put in some ADHD type of editing because it's the age of the short attention span and the rice of the iPad kits saturate the thumbnails or put their faces in for brand recognition and Loud equals funny or just watch all those trustworthy YouTube gurus as if they're really going to help you so yeah that's how the Bears could become internet famous just don't make it obvious that you're a shitty clickbait copycat is this what YouTube has become I thought being a YouTuber meant being yourself and making content you actually enjoy not doing it mindlessly besides we still have some great content that's still being uploaded today we got great video essays ban animations Indie animations gaming content some of the ogs are still here and some other great content that I can think of after all isn't this what YouTube is supposed to be about making videos just for fun and being yourself that didn't stop the Bears from making videos and I like to think that they're just making making videos just to have fun and make all those great memories that I'll never experience again the reason why I'm talking about this is because I kind of relate to Griz when making videos online because I too want to become internet famous and meet all sorts of cool people but I don't want to be fake and sacrifice my creativity to do so and I hope that if the Bears do become internet famous they better not let all that Fame get to their head like in that one animatronic episode where the Bears did become famous by lip singing an awesome song but it brought them a part because they had different ideas damn I just realized I sound like tea pain when talking about how deep this show is the last thing I want to talk about in this video is the movie with a simple plot being the Bears going on a run to Canada after causing a major blackout all over the city with the main antagonist agent trout wanting to lock them up and put them back where they came from all because the Bears are just being beared apparently that's more egregious than literal kidnapping this movie has everything you need for its conclusion we got a fun road trip drama comedy a bit of cringe uplifting moments and sadness because to seeing where all the other bear are locked up in those cages made me feel a bit sad for some reason on the inside anyone who has watched the movie would know that this is the amount of people who love agent trout exactly this guy is committing literal animal cruelty overall it's a good movie that teaches us a good lesson about accepting others no matter their differences we we also got to learn how the Bears met and we finally got a happy ending where the Bears finally fed right into society that's what the Bears wanted all along right to feel accepted for who they are wait a second with the end of season 4 it would make sense to end things off with the movie right however I do have one major complaint that involves the side characters but I'm going to save that for later and there's really nothing else I can add here since there are already a couple of good videos that do a better job explaining the movie than me so I recommend checking them out but the one thing I do have to add is the usage of so many outdated Trends and memes listen I get it right they use a lot of them and I agree that most of them aren't even that funny maybe it's a tribute to the old internet Trends but let's think about it this way the Bears want to fit into society right but they don't understand a lot about human interaction and possibly internet culture so what if that despite trying to become internet famous the Bears mashed all these old ass Trends into one because they lacked any understanding of how to internet works and how memes rise and fall pretty fast after all you don't see both Grizz and Ice bear on the internet all the time and that would actually makes sense because even the movie is self-aware of how cringey it is to use outdated memes especially with these celebrity animals wanting to be treated like a normal person because they know that even with all the fame they have they will eventually be forgotten just like how most of us have forgotten about this guy which is why I think it's a genius move for the crew at least it's what what I like to think let me know what you guys think in the comments below anyways despite the happy ending I still feel a bit unsatisfied something feels missing I couldn't help but feel that there are still a couple of things that need to be said and this is the part where I get to the one major complaint I have for the movie The Side characters didn't even do of course they disavowed agent trout for locking up the bears but why didn't they play a major role in the movie where the hell were the Bears counterparts when the Bears were being chastized Nam Nom was only seen once and it's him being an to the Bears whatever happened to the friendship between him and Grizz the only side character that kind of did play a major role in the movie was Charlie he's honestly the last person I expected to play a major role yet he did way more than all the other side characters I know this is a movie that mainly focuses on the bears but I was hoping the side characters would help the Bears a little but it just feels like a slap in the face because we never got to see more of the side character they're just there and worst of all we never got to see some of these Side characters interact with each other we may already have an episode with both Ranger Tes and Charlie but what about an episode with Chloe and Tes even meeting the poppy Rangers or maybe an episode about Chloe meeting Charlie I think those would have been interesting episodes if only we bear bears had just one more season that would have been a great way to explore these new character Dynamics and this would have also been a great way to finish the icy nights story line because we still don't know about Yuri's whereabouts and I wish we get to see more of Jana as a character we don't even know how both ice bear and Jana met and what the hell happened to Yuri's ax if it's a budget issue then I can understand that but it just sucks that the show ended too soon just like how Infinity train got cancelled way too early without four more seasons come on Cartoon Network what the were you thinking but still even with these unanswered questions and unexplored character Dynamics wee bear bears is still one of the greatest Cartoon Network shows of all time honestly I have no idea how I should end up this video I've pretty much talked about everything I wanted to say about this show from the characters their Origins themes YouTube and even expressing my thoughts about the movie and unanswered questions it's fascinating how wee bear bears originally started as a collection of drawings trying to make Daniel chun's niece laugh to a web comic that no one pays attention to and to an actual show everyone knows and loves wee bear bears is just this comfy show that I don't think a lot of people seem to appreciate enough this is one of these shows that puts a smile on my face because there are many moments from the show that I can relate to a lot I'm like Grizz when trying to make new friends I'm like Panda when being socially awkward and liking anime I'm like ice bear when being quiet to quiet do you see why I identify with a lot of characters who are just like me in my opinion I don't think we'll ever get another show just like that and with that being said thank you thank you Danon chunk for creating such a wonderful show that is we bear bears and now would you excuse me I'm going to go drink some boba tea right about now [Music] [Music]
