The Great Deception is Coming, Do You See it?

many in the body of Christ have been sensing that there is something coming and we can't quite put our finger on it we just know by the spirit we sense by the spirit that there is an intensification of deception coming upon the Earth and that deception causes people confusion about who God is about who they are about how they should live in this world and that deception will only intensify as the world goes further and further into darkness now we must remember that Jesus did say that in the last days perilous times would come we understand that we accept that and that's no reason to fear but we also must remember that though in the last days perilous times will come Jesus never said that in the last days the gospel would lose its power [Applause] sin is still the problem Jesus is still the answer and the gospel still has power so we're not facing these situations with fear I often get messages from Believers on social media saying David please I'm so afraid of the last days I'm so afraid of the Rapture and I think that we're afraid because we don't understand exactly what it is even in the midst of tribulation we are not abandoned pressed but not crushed God remains with us that strength of the spirit holding us up and even those things may be falling apart out there there's glory on the house [Music] and so precious come deception intensifies the world gets darker yes but people are still being saved Revival is still happening I mean think about the fact that Jesus listed several different things that would indicate to us that the end is upon us and he talked about wars and rumors of wars pestilence and famine and I can go on listings several different things but after each time he listed something he would say but the end is not yet what did he say was the indicator he said but this gospel shall be preached to the ends of the Earth and then the end will come what does that tell you that Revival not Retreat will be the posture of the church in the last days we're not cowering in the corner saying get us out of here Lord no we're advancing the kingdom of God in power with Truth by the Holy Spirit so yes deception will intensify this is what the Bible says in second Thessalonians chapter 2 verses one through four and as you turn there I'll just mention that I'm wanting to balance our thinking on this because on one hand we have people who are so consumed by the realities of this world that they live in fear and then on the other hand you have Christians who are so naive about this world that they live in delusion and so we want to avoid both delusion slash deception and fear we must recognize that yes deception is coming yes hard times are coming yes the world is getting darker but also we must remember that ultimately Jesus has the victory he's seated upon the throne he's seated at the right hand of the father second Thessalonians 2 1-4 now dear brothers and sisters let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus and how we will be gathered to meet him don't be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun don't believe them even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision a revelation or a letter supposedly from us don't be fooled by what they say for that they will not come until there is a Great Rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed the one who brings destruction he will exalt himself and divide defy everything that people call God and every object of worship he will even sit in the temple of God claiming that he himself is God so there we see the coming of the Antichrist a great deception coming over the world First Timothy chapter 4. verses 1 and 2. now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith and I believe we're seeing that now except they don't call it turning away from the faith they call it deconstructing their faith they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons these people are hypocrites and liars and their consciences are dead Matthew 24 24. for there shall arise false christs and false prophets and they shall show great signs and wonders in so much that if it were possible and there's a lot of misconceptions surrounding this particular verse it says if it were possible they shall deceive the very elect meaning those who are truly Guided by the Holy Spirit cannot fall under this deception that's being described the great deception is rampant we see it in culture we see it in the systems of this world we see it in the political system in the education system in the movie industry in the music industry in the entertainment industry in the social media algorithms we see deception being pushed and many are caught in this system of deception under the power of Darkness here's the reality either you are of the Kingdom of Light or you are a slave to the kingdom of darkness there is no in between whether you're aware of it or not there are only two kingdoms light and darkness truth and deception good and evil Heaven and Hell God and Satan they are opposed to one another and we must recognize that there is a clear line of Distinction drawn between the two and many preachers sadly trying to placate to culture or make the gospel more palatable are trying to blur that line in order to be accepted by culture and Society people of God leaders preachers hear me now it is not clever or wise or or profound to dance around issues and questions it is not clever to give half answers God raised preachers to be bold declarers of Truth [Applause] we see these systems that are gaining power but again this is not a reason to fret I want to make you aware of these things so that you can stay spiritually sharp that you can use eyes of discernment by the way discernment is not the gift of criticism I can't tell you how many times I've seen posted about my friends they'll post their picture or their video they'll say you have to use discernment with this guy and I'm thinking you have to use discernment with every guy with every woman so what they think it means is you have to dislike them or you have to mark and avoid them no my friend discernment is sing by the spirit based on the word not your opinions or emotions and so we have to make sure that our discernment is properly calibrated and that is based on the word and this is why I want you to be prepared because I don't want you to live under the bondage that comes from deception we have to stay strong let he who has eyes to see see let he who has ears to hear hear let me say it this way and I only go so far on this point because I've not been released to talk too much about this by the spirit you watch as those in power begin to blatantly communicate with demonic beings themselves you watch for that and what those demonic beings will communicate you may think this is crazy you may think this is conspiracy I don't really care I'm telling you the truth those in power will believe that they are receiving truth from these demonic entities you want to talk about deception the enemy is losing truth is advancing these are not moves made from positions of power I want you to hear that these are not moves made from positions of Power by the enemy these are desperate attempts of a Dying Kingdom Darkness has already lost Jesus defeated darkness when he rose from the dead [Applause] now John 16 33 says I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me here on Earth you will have many trials and Sorrows many times we don't want to claim that part that's what Jesus said cart because I have overcome the world so let's go now to Ephesians chapter 6. I'm going to begin reading it verse number 10 and we'll go through down to 12. and then onward to 13 and 14-17 but I want to make a few points about 10 through 12 First a final word Ephesians 6 10. final word be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil stop and look up at me for a second does it say some strategies of the devil what does it say meaning any strategy that the enemy can use against the believer can be prevented by use of the armor of God God does not hide the believer's freedom behind demonic or ancient Mysteries it got kind of quiet here so I know I'm on the right track your Liberty in Christ does not depend upon whether you have a membership to ancestry.com or not I have to find out it's not like in the movies guys I have to solve the riddle I have to put the puzzle together I have to go back and find where in my Generations as if God is folding his arms looking down at you saying I would set you free but you don't know what your great great grandmother did yet so I can't do anything my friend whatever your family bloodline there's nothing more powerful than the blood of Jesus [Applause] so the Bible here says all strategies nothing hidden nothing that the enemy can bring forward that the scripture did not mention nothing that the enemy can bring forward that solves some then that takes some riddle to solve that we're desperate to find the answer to no God lays it out plainly for you you live by these precepts you will walk in Freedom that's what the scripture is telling us here so so you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil every single one of them that's what the Bible says verse 12 for we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies but against evil rulers and authorities of the Unseen World against Mighty powers in this dark world and against evil spirits in Heavenly places there's a lot to break down there but I want to Simply point out to you that hell is structured there is a rank in command a rank and file in the kingdom of darkness there is a organized effort against the children of God and they are coming after your faith they're coming after your belief in the truth there are some believers who are so obsessed with demonic power that they live in paranoia there are other believers who are so ignorant of demonic power they live in bondage and don't even know it so we have to avoid demon Obsession but also ignorance about the demonic Vigilant not paranoid but my friend lest there be any mistake that we can make regarding this issue let me make it clear there is a spiritual Realm demons are real there is a spiritual battle going on over this world over the souls of this generation and we cannot pretend any longer like this isn't a conflict between light and darkness because it is we have to wake up we have to stop preaching things that take our Focus off the realm of the spirit [Applause] the Bible is fundamentally Supernatural but many times we try to pretend as if it's superficially Supernatural as in the basics of it are mostly very just practical and so forth and there is a practical application to everything in scripture don't get me wrong but many believe that we can live disconnected from this reality and to do so is detrimental to your spiritual life and so again we must strike balance not paranoid and also not ignorant so the Bible lists for us there there are powers demons that word is not a metaphor or or just an idea or a figment of literature these are actual beings that come against the people of God verse 13 therefore in other words because of the existence of these entities because of the existence of the powers of Darkness because these are realities by which we must live therefore put on every piece of God's armor now watch this again put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil then after the battle you will be standing firm this is a command you put it on God provides it you have to choose to use it this is what many Believers don't understand about the power of the Holy Spirit they're constantly begging for more of the Holy Spirit not realizing that everything the holy spirit is he dwells in you when you were born again you did not receive a baby Holy Spirit a portion of the Holy Spirit a new convert Holy Spirit a children's Church Holy Spirit when you were born again the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you it's the same Holy Spirit and so this holy spirit gives us power gives us truth that's the life of the believer you already have joy you already have peace you already have love and power and Grace and Holiness the issue is many of us aren't living a life and surrender to the Holy Spirit and therefore we never make use of that which he's already given to us and so we're begging God for more and we're saying Holy Spirit I want more of you when in reality it's not a matter of you getting more of the Holy Spirit but of the Holy Spirit getting more of you surrender [Applause] so you put on the armor now watch this verse 14 stand your ground putting on the belt of Truth and the body armor of God's righteousness for shoes put on the piece that comes from the good news so that you will be fully prepared in addition to all of these hold up the shield of Faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil verse 17 put on salvation as your helmet and take the sword of the spirit which is the word of God now let's break these down number one the belt of Truth what is the scripture describing here truth itself simple enough John 14 6 Jesus told him I am the way the truth and the life no one can come to the father except through me John 17 17. sanctify them through thy truth Thy word is truth Jesus said if you build your life upon the sand you build your house upon the sand then when the storms come not if the storms come when the storms come and whatever you built upon the sand will be knocked over but if you build your house upon the rock which is the word the truth the sayings of Jesus the teachings of the master you build your house upon the rock then when the storms come your house will stand firm you wonder why difficult to remain standing you wonder why your faith goes up and down you wonder why on Sundays you get recharged only to find yourself by Wednesday feeling like you're ready to backslide because many of us build our houses upon opinion many of us build our houses upon emotion many of us build our houses upon how we're doing that week or what the circumstances dictate to us when we should build upon the words of Christ the teachings the truth that he has given to us if you are not in the word you are easy pray for the enemy why because the enemies attack against the believer hear me now and this is something I pray the Holy Spirit gives us all Revelation on the the way that the enemy attacks the believer is the one thing deception it's always deception now you talk about the unbeliever oh my goodness there's a whole bunch more that's in his tool belt that he can use against them but against the believer it's just deception because you've already been given and the power of the Holy Spirit and the only way he can take any influence in your life is if you don't make use of what God has given to you and so he's constantly lying to you about who he wants you to think you are and you believe it you'll never use what God gave you and so we must learn not just who we are but more importantly who God is what Christ has accomplished so many Believers are in bondage because they don't understand their inheritance or identity in Christ so many Believers are in bondage because they don't understand the work of Salvation they don't understand the fullness of the power of the Holy Ghost they don't understand what it means to walk in the glory of God the life of the believer is meant to be one of victory now I'm going to say something that may be offensive but I'm going to say it anyway not to offend but to speak the truth and then allow me to explain it because many times when you say things people hear another thing than what you're saying so listen very carefully if you are in bondage you are not living the Christian Life now this is something you're not going to be told quite often because many times preachers placate to itching ears wanting to be told something else if you are in spiritual bondage you're not living the Christian Life did you say I'm not a Christian no it's not what I said I said you're not living the Christian Life Meaning you are not accessing what is rightfully yours spiritual bondage please hear this church spiritual bondage is not a part of the Christian Life we often think as though oh I'm in my struggling face and I understand that there are trials I'm not saying we won't have emotions I'm not saying we won't experience sorrow I'm not saying we won't face difficult times and difficult circumstances we will face loss and tragedy yes we will have trials but that's not the same thing as a spiritual bondage or deception see a Believer who walks in Victory though they have trials they still have their joy and peace intact but a Believer who's in bondage faces those trials and they think those trials are proof that God has abandoned them they think those trials are proof that God didn't keep his word after all they think those trials are proof that the enemy has any power over them whatsoever and so because we always have trials they believe they're always under the power of the enemy and so you look in the scripture and the life of the believer is described as victory and we accept spiritual defeat again I'm not talking about trials we have to distinguish between the two spiritual defeat is not a part of the Christian Life yet we say things and we have this form of Pride that we we surround ourselves with to protect us from actually addressing the issue and we say things like well the enemy knows I'm such a big threat and that's why he has so much influence and that's why he's attacking me my friend if you're a threat to the enemy he flees and we wrap our identity around our struggles you say well I've never wrapped my identity around my struggle you have wrapped your identity around your struggles if you accept those struggles because you think that's just a part of being anointed being anointed people will come against you there will be seasons of Doubt there will be seasons of hardship you will be persecuted but never once did the scriptures say that we should be under spiritual bondage and so we accept it as a part of the Christian Life and say well you know I'm so anointed that I'm just spiritually bound and it's this backwards thinking when when the scripture tells us that if you resist the enemy he flees he doesn't fight you know why because the moment you start resisting he recognizes you just found out who you are and once you find out who you are he says I have to flee but you see if we're not keen on how the enemy deceives then when deception begins to permeate and intensify we may be swept under certain mindsets that keep us thinking in defeat and this is more than just positive thinking this is truthful thinking rightful thinking biblical thinking the belt of Truth and many of you are arguing against your own Deliverance say the enemy can't have any power over you yes he can I say some of these Believers really want their demons they get more offended that you when you tell them the enemy doesn't have power of them then if you told them you didn't think they were saved they're more quick to believe that maybe they weren't born again than to believe that they're no longer under bondage and so well there's a perfect illustration but light will overcome Darkness I think someone just leaned up against the lights there Reuben whoever that is they're probably going oh my goodness what did I do it's okay you gave me a great sermon illustration laughs I would just be I I don't know what I would do if I did that I would be thinking about it all night so whoever that was we forgive you don't even think about it okay Brothers and Sisters in Christ here but you know we we accept these these with truth and because we just accept the premise we Grant the premise we Grant the premise of the lies of the enemy and then he runs our lives through that influence so that deceptive thought pattern that we have and we don't even realize we're the ones who gave him that in the first place and so we have to come back to the place where we're living in truth truth about who God is truth about your identity truth about the new nature the believer truth about the power of the Holy Spirit living in you that's the belt of Truth Now you know you're not walking in truth when you're swayed by worldly opinions let me put it to you this way Truth by its very nature does not change I don't care what the modern world says about any issue if it contradicts the truth of the word of God you know you're not living in truth if you're swept up constantly by strange Doctrine getting all wrapped up in doctrines that just create legalism you know how you know you're wrapped up in legalism you have no peace you know how you know you're wrapped up in strange Doctrine is when the doctrines bring you more paranoia and they do power you forget about who you are in Christ you know you're not living in truth when you when you do things based upon your own thoughts and emotions well as Jesus Lord or are your emotions the Lord of your life see because if you live according to your emotions your emotions change and therefore so will the direction of your life but you live according to truth and no matter how you feel you have a fixed purpose so that's about the truth number two the body armor of righteousness Romans 4 3 for the scripture tells us Abraham believed God and God counted him as righteous because of his faith righteousness is a gift righteousness is a gift from God when you believe God and put your faith in what Jesus has done on the cross then he grants to you righteousness it's imputed righteousness once you've placed your faith in Christ and this is one of the true miracles of Salvation And This truly is one of the great lifters of the burden that many of us have carried when you recognize who you are in Christ you come to know this wonderful reality that when God looks at the cross he sees your sins and when God looks at you he sees Christ's perfection now that can only be granted by faith you believe and therefore he gives that to you that's the gift of salvation so this righteousness in which we live is only stabilized is only received is only acted upon or lived out when we live in truth in the scripture the armor that's being described is an ancient armor and that breastplate of righteousness the body armor of righteousness was held in place by the belt so therefore we see in Scripture that truth is what fastens righteousness to us Jesus said you'll know the truth and the truth will set you free if you're bound in a sin in an addiction of some sorts you're bound in a cycle of habits that you can't seem to break I promise you this somewhere deep down you are believing a lie that's keeping you bound to that sin and that truth that you're not living in that lack of Truth makes it difficult to hold to yourself the body armor of righteousness now I don't have time to completely dissect this because there's many other points I want to make but we want to talk about repentance here just for a second to repent means to change your mind now when I say that some Believers get offended they say no you must turn around that's what you must do and I agree you must turn from sin yes but that's still not what the word repent means though the Bible does say we must turn from sin as well to repent means to change your mind to renounce means to turn from now here's the issue many Believers try to renounce their sin that is turned from it before they've had a change of mind and so when you repent you agree with God God I agree this sin is destructive God I agree this sin will not fulfill me because if you sin you believe the lie that it will fulfill you if you sin you believe the lie that it will not destroy you otherwise you wouldn't be doing it so I agree that this sin is destructive I agree that this sin will not fulfill me I agree that this sin must go now and for all time because here's what we do and the flesh is so tricky we lie to ourselves when it comes to repentance we say before God God I'm going to put this sin away and the flesh Whispers for now God giving this up and the flesh says until the Cravings become strong again and so so we say with our mouths no we really many times it's not sin we want to be freed from but the consequences of sin many times it's not sin you want to be freed from it's from the guilt that sin brings Lord relieve the guilt but let me keep the sin and then they get stuck in the cycle feeling bad is not repentance and so so so you believe according to the Flesh and then you're lying to yourself and then you try to pronounce and turn from it well you're battling with yourself so to repent means I change my mind about it completely and now I can renounce by the way renounce means to turn from we've ritualized repentance and renouncing to what we think it's just a list that we read off of you know we get the scroll and he rolls all the way across the floor I renounce this I renounce this before this as I renounce this and if it really was biblical we had to renounce everything our ancestors way back to Adam Eve I've done a perfect record of everything in between but that's not what you can do that there's nothing wrong with that inherently if you want to verbalize the fact that you're rejecting the sins of your ancestors go for it that's a beautiful thing and it's good that your children see you do it we renounce drug addiction we renounce alcohol right you can do that but that's still not what that word means because many of us will read off of a paper or say a ritualized prayer will never turning from that sin and then wonder why it still has its consequences manifesting in our lives and so we've made it a religion we've ritualized it this is where we have to come to the place where we're saying I'm going to hold myself to righteousness in the truth and that truth will be held to me fast and I will agree God this has to go I turn in my mind from this sin and I also renounce it in my everyday life I'll briefly survey some of the other pieces of armor the shoes of peace this is your readiness to preach the gospel now I do find it ironic I think that's the word that I should be using I think it's ironic that the shoes of peace are the means by which we take territory see we don't conquer in the manner of worldly kingdoms we don't expand territory through violence when we take steps with the shoes of peace we are taking the Declaration of the Gospel everywhere we go and everywhere that the gospel goes the hearts of prisoners are set free everywhere that the gospel goes truth advances you see we expand our kingdom by sharing the gospel and every time a life is transformed that life touches a family that family touches a region that region shakes Nations and so the shoes of peace is the truth of the Gospel are you seeing a theme Here truth truth truth [Music] Number Four The Shield of faith The Shield of faith is your belief in what God has said spiritual warfare ultimately is the fight to believe God's truths over the enemy's lies that's spiritual warfare it's that battle in the minds to hold fast to truth and the fiery darts of the enemy that are launched at you that's deception that's a lie and just as the shield quenches that fiery Dart so truth quenches deception fire like deception spreads if it's not addressed immediately everything about the kingdom of hell built on shifting Shadow oh I pray we understand this in the name of Jesus everything about the kingdom of hell is built on shifting shadow Brick by Brick Lie by lie the fortresses of hell are built the weapons of the enemy are nothing more than sharp silhouettes and just as a shadow can appear larger in the right perspective so the power of the enemy can seem larger than it actually is when we live under the power of deception the enemy's power everything he can do against us it's a smoky illusion that only works if we give in to the belief in his lie when you enter a dark room hopefully you don't scream at the darkness to try to get it out all the enemy doesn't care at all if you raise your voice he's not intimidated by our tactics or our Firm Stance or our raised voices he doesn't care about how much we think we know about the spiritual Realm the enemy fears one thing it is written [Applause] the kingdom of hell is built upon shadowy illusion and the moment the light is turned on everything in the kingdom of God of Darkness dissolves everything in the kingdom of darkness dissolves once that light is introduced so shoes of peace we take the gospel Shield of faith we believe in the truth of what God has said helmet of salvation just cross-reference this with first Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 8 and you'll see that the helmet of salvation is your confidence in Salvation oh the enemy wants to shake you from that you know it's not God's will that you live your life wondering if you're saved [Applause] in fact and this may shake you up but that's okay it'll get you studying in the right direction if you live your life constantly wondering if your last mistake was the one to finally do you in and cause you to lose your salvation then you believe a workspace gospel legalism you want to know how you're bound by legalism you want to know if you're bound by legalism if you're constantly fearing the loss of your salvation you are bound by legalism now again I know I'm preaching some things that are shaking some people up but it's good to be shaken up sometimes because we need to come back to the truth now again people say what does that mean I can live however I want no because a True Believer would desire to live holy [Applause] and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God the spirit of Truth the spirit of Truth Works in conjunction with the word of Truth the holy spirit will remind and reveal concerning truth and when we're faced with those battles where the enemy is coming against us we must hold fast to the truth of the word of God when culture tries to pressure you into believing and preaching according to how they believe you hold fast on Truth do not be deceived they'll call you a bigot they'll call you old-fashioned they'll call you out of touch they'll call you narrow-minded just smile and say yes I am narrow-minded because Jesus said narrow is the way I am narrow-minded [Applause] some people are so open-minded their brains are falling out for granted and everything that comes their way no I'm I'm narrow-minded Jesus is the way Jesus is the way there's no name under Heaven given amongst Men by which we are saved other than the name of Jesus there's no other name no other name no other name Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father except through me so we stand fast in the face of adversity in the face of persecution and yes criticism and slander and rejection that is a form of persecution you stand fast the armor of God when the enemy comes to attack you he throws a lie at you and that fiery Dart and you know the thing about a lie is that a lie doesn't become deception until you believe it when I tell a lie if I say to you something that's untrue and you reject that lie you're not deceived so the enemy crafts his lies to try to make them as believable as possible and he hurls these fiery Dart sounds God has rejected you the lie that's been launched the fiery Dart but then I take the shield of faith and I believe in the promise I will never leave thee nor forsake thee and so you hold that Shield up and it quenches the fiery guard of the enemy and then you go after that attacker with the sword of the spirit it's with the shield of faith that we quench the fiery darts it's with the sword that we cut down the Liars themselves those demonic powers the enemy says god holds your past against you that's a fiery Dart launch Shield of faith if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins the enemy launches nothing good will ever happen to you you're bound for defeat God has rejected you Shield the faith I cling to it and believe I know the plans I have for you plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future your family will never be saved nothing is impossible with God this is going to keep you Bound by his stripes I am healed [Applause] the enemy is going to have your mind and your family resist the devil and he'll flee like a coward I want to live in the truth I want to live in the power that God has made available to me it's time you stand and who you are it's time you stand upon truth I'm telling you right now there's a boldness that's coming upon the people of God once they stand in truth and they'll say devil you cannot have my mind devil you cannot have my body devil you cannot have my children devil you cannot have my family devil you cannot have this state we declare to the enemy we say America belongs to Jesus the Nations belong to Jesus this world belongs to Jesus are you ready to wage war against the enemy then lift your hands right now and begin to pray in the Holy Spirit here's the altar call now ask the Lord to help you stand in truth ask him ask him to give you the strength and the discernment repent if you've not been in the word repent if you've not been in prayer ask the Lord to do it standing there where you are hands lifted eyes closed I want you to begin to ask the Holy Spirit now to help you identify the lies of the enemy the lies that you've believed about God about yourself about your family about this world these are the roots of deception and boldly declare this out loud right now say in the name of Jesus I stand in truth say holy spirit help me to know the truth Guide Me by truth Thy word is truth now just begin to pray out loud in the Holy Spirit many bondages have been broken right now [Music] bondages are being broken right now you don't need to scream you don't need to beg you don't even need to cough just receive the freedom that is of the spirits receive the freedom that is of the spirits who you are in Christ child of the most high God seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus himself Jesus we honor you Jesus we bless you and so father I lift your people before you now those here present and those watching online and I ask you Lord to cause them to step in to Realms of Glory such as they've never known thank you Father that you are strengthening Us by Your Word thank you Father that you've planted us firmly in truth we honor and we bless you in Jesus mighty name we pray and the church said amen please take your seats in a few minutes we're going to pray for God's healing and delivering power to sweep across this room first I want to encourage you with something here go with me now to Second Corinthians chapter 9 . we're going to go to verse number six here and remember Paul the Apostle here is talking about finances he's talking specifically about giving an offering for the work of the Kingdom and this is where we get the biblical concept of sowing and reefing now granted some have abused this concept of sowing and reaping but just because some have abused it doesn't mean it's not biblical in and of itself so second Corinthians chapter 9 verse number six remember this farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop but the one who plants generously will get a generous crop you must each decide in your heart how much to give and don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure let me say that again don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure four God loves a person who gives cheerfully now watch The Promise here because we can't get this mixed up it is wrong to say that if you give a financial seed that that causes you to reap a healing in your body it is wrong to say that if you give a financial seed that that causes you to be delivered from demonic power you don't need to give money to be healed and you don't need to give money to be delivered what the scripture is describing here we have to get this right so that we're not out of balance with the scripture what the scripture is describing here is God's response when we so financially for the sake of his kingdom you so financially you reap financially if I sow watermelon I'm not going to reap strawberries if I saw apples I don't reap oranges you so financially you reap financially it's the law of stewardship God looks to see how we handle that which he has given to us and we are responsible some of us have much some of us have little but every single one of us has a responsibility to expand the work of the Kingdom through what we are able to do not in response to pressure not reluctantly but cheerfully recognizing that we have the honor of being a part of what God is doing now watch this verse 8 here is the promise attached to the command the command is give generously look at the promise and this is Bible guys verse 8. and God will what generously provide some of what you need some of what you need what does it say s all well what a promise that is all that you need then you will always not sometimes you will always have everything not some of the things you will always have everything you need and this is my favorite part of the promise and plenty left over to share with others I love that that's prosperity prosperity isn't I drive a fancy car I live in a multi-million dollar home for some God has blessed them that way let them be blessed in that way it's not a sin to have wealth as long as wealth doesn't have you it's the love of money that's the root of evil not money itself the scripture actually teaches us we can use our resources for good but but that's not necessarily the definition of prosperity do you know what Biblical Prosperity is your needs are met and you have enough left over to help others that's biblical prosperity now come down to verse 10. for God is the one who provides seed for the farmer what's that seed it's what he gave you already and then bread to eat in the same way he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you so not only does he provide your resources as you learn to become a giver he increases your resources I myself learn this when I first started in Ministry I used to justify my lack of giving and I would say well I'm full-time Ministry so technically you know anything anything I keep for myself is going into the ministry and I couldn't pay my rent I barely had enough for food the ministry was not necessarily in the best place financially Steve you remember those days of uh of when we would do our live streams on Monday nights the way I would pay the staff was a pizza party after the live streams remember that Steve and they were so gracious to stick with me then and I was still learning I was like you know the principles of giving and I was so afraid I would withhold hide behind oh I'm just using wisdom like no you're just not obeying what the holy spirit is saying and so we for many years how to grow in this area [Music] look around the room and you see this event you see the cameras the crew we travel with 30 plus people the the the resources and the and the equipment that comes here it's just amazing I look around but this all started with one camera it was me a camera Steve and a guitar and we would go from church to church preaching and teaching and Steve would do the worship on his acoustic we would we would always say one day there's going to be a worship team we're going to be going to different states and it's the Fulfillment of a vision but let me let me walk you through what happened there we I had the first camera that was given to me by my youth pastor his name was Eddie Vargas and he gave me a Sony VX 2100 I still remember the model it had lenses it came in a leather bag it had all of these different attachments I think there was even a light that went on top of that and I I cherish that because for for a media evangelist that's like your church building your camera you know it's it's my it's my my my my my way to make resources come into the ministry because we would film programs and you know sell DVDs and so forth and I remember one day the Holy Spirit tells me I want you to give that camera to and he named the ministry and I was I remember just kind of grasping the camera and going no this can't be the Lord this can't be the Lord this can't be the Lord you ever have the Holy Spirit speak to you and you mistakenly rebuked that as a lie no I'm going to use wisdom this is not wisdom it's not wisdom and the Holy Spirit just pressed it on my heart and all I could think about was the lenses and the bag and the attachments and I said okay Holy Spirit I'll do it and you know when I gave that bag that camera equipment to the Evangelist the Lord told me to give it to he had not yet been in media Ministry he had not yet been doing anything like that and if I named the Evangelist I would say 90 percent of you would know who this evangelist was Dynamic ministry here in the United States and I gave that camera to him and he took it and he said you know this is confirmation that the Lord wants me to start to do media Ministry I said great that's good for you but and so I'll never forget a gentleman comes up to me sometime after that and he says God told me to give you something says let me be honest I didn't even like you I said okay could have gone without saying that part but because I didn't even like you and he hands to me this wad of hundred dollar bills I was like is this guy like a drug dealer that got saved or something and he gives me this stack of 100 bills it was fourteen thousand dollars in cash and he said I want you to go and buy new camera equipment with this and so we went and we bought camera equipment [Applause] it didn't end there you know often I think of Joseph who when he was in the house of potiphar most of us would have said yeah I think this is the Fulfillment of the dream and we would have just stayed there but God didn't stop challenging me you never reach a place where God stops challenging you he's always going to challenge you in proportion to what he's given you so we bought this camera equipment I had like three cameras it was a mixer there was Omar you remember this too there was the mixer there was microphones some lighting that we could set up and with that camera Frank you remember this too with that camera equipment you were one of the guys who got paid in pizza with the camera equipment we were able to start doing Charter Cable which was you know in in Los Angeles it was just a local cable station and we were able to start producing for that and I had this dream of doing National broadcast so we could reach more people but we couldn't do it with the equipment we had and so again the Holy Spirit speaks to me I want you to sew all this camera equipment that was much more difficult than sewing my little Sony vx2100 lord said sow it okay and I started giving cameras away there's there's the pain before promotion and it took Faith because we built everything around media microphones video boards soundboards you name it it was gone lighting I said okay Lord only you can do it now and for the next step we needed about a hundred thousand dollars to come in to help us build a new studio so that we can do broadcasts nationally and I'll never forget I got a call from a wealthy businessman in Northern California you know how all these stories of Faith include that's that that one instance where the wealthy businessman calls I found one of them and so he called me he calls me and he says this is what he asked me on the phone he goes mind you I had just sewn a bunch of camera because how big is your faith I said Paul it's pretty big right now I just so so uh sold a bunch of camera equipment to a bunch of Ministries he said okay he goes then what am I about to tell you I said you're about to tell me that you're going to send me a check that's going to cover all the costs for our new television Studio he goes hmm that is big faith and then he said I'm sending the check it's being overnighted you'll have the resources tomorrow [Applause] and I could go on telling stories like this time and time again the Lord has met the need but he always asks some faith for us what we make happen for others God will make happen for us and you know there's that challenge we have right there's that fight and this is why pre people don't want they try to spiritualize their grief stop talking about money it's like ah there's a reason you're uncomfortable with that there's a reason you're uncomfortable when people challenge you to give because that's where I was I didn't like it and there's this little there's this little greedy person inside us we fight and it clings and it hangs on to and says no and the Holy Spirit says you've got to trust me because if you don't learn to trust me in this how can I trust you with spiritual matters you don't learn to trust me in the little how do you expect me to increase you and add to your resources and I had to learn for that stubbornness in me to be broken and that those excuses had to stop the stubbornness had to stop I had to let go and finally put my faith in what God had done and you know the ministry grew over and over and over again each time we've sown each time we've given each time we've trusted God [Applause] and so I'm just gonna put it out there as straightforward as I can this event here in New York state cost 475 thousand dollars to do I know Wu is right it's almost half a million dollars for this event now you can look on the website we've broken down the cost so that we're accountable to you you can see all the expenses yourself I do not get paid for these I have a whole I have my own salary I have other ways of making income same for Steve we do not make personally make money off these but we do have staff that need to be paid workers are worthy of their wages is what the scripture says we have sound people who've flown in this is all they do this is their job and so we have put out Resources by faith we have not charged a thing we and and that is that is My Vow we will not charge for these events period I would rather I would rather go broke than charge people to experience healing and deliverance and salvation I'd rather go broke now God's grace is upon this ministry we've seen it growing and we have our eyes set now on stadiums and arenas we have our eyes set now on stadiums and Arenas but guys we had to turn away I don't know how many people last night and tonight and there are people it breaks my heart there are people who drove ours there are people who flew in there are people with sick loved ones we have no control over how many can get in it's it's the venue they tell us Fire Marshal says we shut it down at a certain point we have to get larger venues we have to expand to the next level but I'm asking you to step out in faith we need help raising these costs this is the last night it needs to come in tonight and those of you watching online it has to come in tonight because if it doesn't come in tonight that means that's one less event that we can do next year and I don't want to do that I want to be able to add to the events not take them away I know we're growing We're All in This Together I know there's growing pains and so I'm coming to you as your brother in Christ saying let's believe God together so something sacrificial if God has blessed you with wealth take off a good chunk from that amount if God has not blessed you with wealth so sacrificially and you watch how he'll increase you but everyone in this room has a responsibility to do the best that they can everyone watching online right now has a responsibility to do the best that they can and that's all that we ask is that you hear the Holy Spirit respond in I know is I preach Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit shows up we preach the gospel of Salvation we preach on God's miracle working power and this is just the way he's choosing to demonstrate his power now many of you have been in meetings and you wait for the man or the woman of God to lay hands on you let me break it to you now there's only one Healer here there's only one deliverer here his name is Jesus and he will lay hands on you himself as his power flows through this room and through that camera to those of you watching online do not wait for me to lay hands on you do not wait for the prayer line there may be one tonight there may not be it depends how the spirit leads but tonight as you worship you will be healed as you worship you will be delivered as you worship you'll experience breakthrough and many of you in this room and watching online are about to encounter the presence and power of the holy spirit in a way you've never encountered him before I believe that with all my heart do you believe that so as we worship that beautiful presence will descend on that room and I I say descend but we know the Lord is always present what I really mean is that there's the manifestation of that it becomes more apparent you become aware of it and as that power begins to move across this room the moment you sense the touch of the master I want you to reach out and receive your healing the moment you feel the touch of the master I want you to reach out and receive your deliverance so let me just encourage you here with one scripture and as I read this to you I want you to receive it in your spirit Matthew 14 36 one simple verse actually everyone please standing [Music] how many of you just sensed the shift right now I felt like the Winds of the spirit just change right now it's the presence of almighty God it's the presence of almighty God you've heard stories about it in times past you've longed to encounter it that glory is resting on this room right now Matthew 14 36. and besought him speaking of the people that they might only Touch the Hem of His garments and as many as touched him perfectly whole [Music] my friend whatever you've been dealing with whatever battle you might be facing tonight whatever the inner turmoil or torment whatever the sickness or disease despite what the doctors have told you and despite what others have told you who've criticized the move of God in your life I'm here to declare to you tonight that Jesus is still a healing Jesus Jesus is still a delivering Jesus Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forevermore God is a God who does Miracles still today nothing is impossible and no matter how long you've suffered no matter how intense the problem no matter how impossible the situation might seem one touch and everything changes one touch and everything changes you don't know how your life is about to be transformed in the next few minutes you have no idea how in the next few minutes what came in here with you as as a discouragement or as a trial on the mind will be lifted from off of you and I believe as we turn our Focus to Jesus now as we've declared his word and as we've preached him Spirit Jesus has not stopped Healing The Sick Jesus has not stopped setting the captives free we are laying witness right now through the power of the Holy Spirit and we have the high honor and privilege to be able to see him at work and I want to remind you here I know 99.9 of you here sitting in this room know it I know 99.9 of you watching online know it but I want to remind you that it was Jesus who set these people free not a man man cannot do this a Ministry cannot do this it's the work of Jesus the son of the Living God that's who's doing this work and so as you hear these testimonies and stories I want you to Rejoice with these people Rejoice with those who Rejoice is what the scripture says weep with those who weep so we will rejoice with them but as we Rejoice with them keep in mind two things one these are people whose lives have just been transformed they've experienced something so profound and it's the touch of God on their life whether he healed them or delivered them that's a beautiful thing we hear stories and we say oh nice testimony but we don't realize they're going to go back home tonight and their life is going to be completely different they're going to go back to their places of work in their places of education and things will function differently for them now because of the miracle that God has done and number two and that I tell you number one so your compassion is there because compassion is one of the keys to the Healing Ministry and number two I want you to remember that Jesus and Jesus alone deserves all the glory all the praise all the honor for his goodness for what he's done keep those things in mind as we hear What the Lord Has Done Britain what happened here David this is Justin he said for four to five years he's had a stomach issue he would have acid reflux in the stomach issue he said after last night's service he went and got some pizza he woke up this morning and he said he had no acid reflux and he believes the Lord healed his stomach can we give the Lord a handle Praise Jesus we thank you for your power you know if there's one place test yourself for a healing by eating pizza it's right here in New York [Music] and some of us might hear this acid reflux but but remember what I said last night and what the scripture says more importantly he Delights in every detail of Our Lives there's no Miracle so big that he cannot do it and there's no Miracle so small that he will not do it His Eye Is on the Sparrow he focuses on our needs and this man experienced the healing and to him it's a very big deal and so I want you to be encouraged to ask for those things even if you feel like it's too small of a thing you may say things like oh I can deal with it oh it's no big deal I can put up with it but no don't be afraid to ask him for even what you think is a little miracle because there are no such things as mirror Miracles that are small sir what was it like when you felt the power of God healing you yesterday I felt like a gurgling in my stomach and then even I think that is the perfect description for the power of God there there are some places Where words fail this is one of them guys this is the real deal it's not me it's who's around me he's standing with me on the platform right now this is the power of God help him up and then help him to his seat if he can make it God bless you sir go rejoicing in your Miracle these gentlemen are going to help you here Reuben what happened here Diego I have Maria here since birth has had her vision and but it wasn't until most recently in 2020 where her retinas were altered and she said ever since 2020 she said she's been able to see like black spots and holes she hasn't been able to see a full image clearly today in worship she was praying believing for her miracle and so she looked at her hand she noticed it was a full hand versus spotless she said her vision has been Rich give Jesus the mighty sound of Gray so if I understand correctly the problem started in 2020 or it got worse in 2020. you were born with it what what were you born with first of all what were you born with that was the issue retinal latitis gen degeneration which means my retinas were kind of shredding and the Lord I had measures of healing over the years and then in 2020 I think it might have had to do with blue light or something like that and all of a sudden it was all splotchy and it was hard to like I couldn't see you as as one image there would be parts that I couldn't see and then there was something occluding this so it was always in the way so it was as if there was this thing here and it's gone just but just like last night with healing of my hearing it's something that had been there for so long she was here last night you came on the platform last night and testified well he opened her ears and opened her eyes and whoa she opened her ears he opened her ears he opened her eyes and now she's rejoicing here with joy overflowing Lord give your people the same joy in Jesus name this is beautiful may I ask why you're laughing what are you sensing right now [Laughter] [Music] come on Church give Jesus a hand of praise [Applause] them it's Freedom what would you say to the people who are believing for their healing God don't give up my friends are sitting there they know how much this has been I had been down-houred it so long because of these type of things and some other stuff and I guess I had fallen into hopelessness and now it's good Jesus assume that credible story right there Jesus still opens the eyes of the blind Jesus still opens the ears of the deaf we do not serve a dead savior we serve a Risen Lord resurrected Son of God Britain what happened David I have faith here she said for 10 years she's been dealing with back pain she said that during the prayer she felt it just lift off of her she also has been dealing with anemia she said this would cause dizziness and an accelerated heart rate she believes the Lord healed her of that as well you said you felt the back pain just lift off of you on during what um we were praising and worshiping and what was that like can you describe it it just lifted it the back pain lifted what couldn't you do before what couldn't you do before without pain it's just really hurting it's really we say that again it was hurting I was hurting I was hurting a lot and how long had that been an issue about 10 years 10 years you've been dealing with that so tonight this is an important Healing For You Lord I Thank you that your power is present to heal and I pray Lord oh don't worry don't be afraid it's just this power sometimes people are little they get a little nervous with that and they don't quite know what's happening that right there is just his power that's what you feel going through you she's looking back going what is going on it's it's something that I have not been able to explain other than to say that when his power shows up this is what people feel on their bodies do you want that close your eyes and just say Jesus I want everything you have for me [Music] that's his power flowing that's his power flow [Music] I feel such peace here tonight such a piece here and you know as you're watching these people receive the touch of God it may be so that you're also feeling that power come on you that's how this works it's the Act of Faith one person's Faith leads to another person's Faith because we become encouraged by what God is doing in the lives of others and so I pray that as you're seeing these testimonies of people being healed that you would be healed as you're seeing these people Touched By God's power that you would be touched By God's power and the people said Reuben I have Alma here for the past three to four weeks has had pain in her right knee she said the pain has been so excruciating that she has had to limp today was really bad she went to the ER because it was just unbearable she said went to the doctor's appointment she said she got she got diagnosed with arthritis they gave her painkillers and she said right after that appointment she came straight here because she says she was believing for her miracle and today in service began to move her lead to test it out she said the pain is completely gone say again I was struggling to walk on the train step to come up and now I walk up this stuff come on let's go let's see [Music] [Applause] come on let's Rejoice with her Worthy is what happened here Britain David I have CJ here he said six years ago while playing football [Music] I remember you we ran into you in last night we were walking around the streets of Brooklyn then he was praying with a a drug addict where are you Lenny you were praying with a drug addict homeless guy yeah and then and then I prayed for a woman on the streets with a stuttering issue pardon okay well I remember you because I remember you too okay what what happened so David this is CJ he said six years ago while playing football he broke a part of his leg his femur and he said now he has constant pain he can play some sports but he always has pain in his legs he said that during the prayer he felt the light of the Holy Spirit come toward his eyes and he said that the pain is completely gone his legs started shaking and he's been completely healed how long did you deal with that issue for six years since 2017. and how do you know you've been healed now I know I've been healed by Jesus Christ by The Ransom he's paid for us he's healed me in your body you can feel no pain what couldn't you do before that would cause you pain I couldn't really stand for long periods of time even when I was standing here before I I started getting healed I just I was getting a lot of pain I felt like sitting down but the Holy Spirit tells me to stand up he gave me strength [Music] [Music] Lord make him a preacher of the Gospel I pray [Applause] preacher of the Gospel I pray what's your name CJ lift your hands CJ I hear men from every nation bowing down for the throne stretch your hands toward him and pray [Music] father CJ desires to be used by you [Music] I pray tonight there would be a fresh Touch of your power that comes upon him and let him remember this moment for all the days of his life Mark today in heaven I pray CJ I see you standing before multitudes of people [Music] keep yourself pure and walk humbly and the Lord himself will raise you the Lord himself will raise you for there will be some and even now there are some who mock what God is doing in your life people you love dearly but they themselves will be a witness to the power of the Holy Spirit demonstrated through your life the very ones who mock you will come along your side and serve with you as co-laborers in Christ putting a fire in you now a fire that will to preach and conviction will come upon the loss and they will turn from their sin and they will turn to Jesus if I'm placing in you also a healing Grace you will lay hands on the sick and they will recover you will speak and demons will tremble and leave I will give to you a prophetic mantle for God says not just one Grace but Grace upon Grace upon Grace for I've given to you a teaching gift a prophetic gift a healing gift a preaching gift an Apostolic gift a generation awaits your obedience to God a up to me she came up to me we were out just walking around and we like I said there was this man who who was screaming at us like like growling at us and Steve first thought that we know him but he no it was someone else before you there was someone else we prayed for yeah you were on the way back to the hotel can you say something can you say Jesus is Lord Jesus is Lord can you say Jesus is my healer Jesus Is My Healer you know why her hold on you know why her friends are clapping last night she was stuttering foreign Frank you heard her stuttering last night well this is her now Bubba where are you you heard her stuttering last night this is her we were we I told the team she was stuttering because they were there with us and they didn't quite get to hear her afterwards because there was other people praying and there was a whole bunch of stuff going on last night right here on the streets of Brooklyn but but but how long had you dealt with that I've been stuttering since I was 10 years old [Music] I am so moved by this miracle you've been stuttering since you were 10 years old and then we prayed on the streets last night we all prayed it was Jesus who did it and and what happened when Jesus healed you as soon I've been stuttering for the past 13 years as soon as I came from Italy to America the devil attacked my speech and I could no longer speak my name is
