JoJo, your turn. Let's take a look at some
of JoJo's difficult moments on the show. - I watch these like
twice a day. [laughing] - JoJo with the bobo from my
ultimate dance competition. She has that charisma,
she has that energy. She wants it. JoJo is strong and
hard and devilish. She's obnoxious. Sometimes rude. - Ooh, this is good. - I don't know what
Jess is doing right now, but JoJo's not in
the group dance. - Put it down. No! That's enough. I'm
sorry, sweetheart. You are not in the number. That is really a inappropriate
thing for a child to touch. You wanna show me
your receipt for that? 'Cause it's not yours,
you didn't pay for it, you didn't buy it, so for
you to come over here and take one is a
greedy little monster. Don't do it. - The fact that she
called you a monster. - Greedy little
monster. [laughing] - And she called me a snake. - JoJo! [tense music] Have you learned nothing?! [laughing] Do not address her until she
learns to say, "Excuse me," when two adults are speaking. - I always see that clip online. - [All] "JoJo, have
you learned nothing?!" - That follows me everywhere. - Oh, we all have a
line that follows us. - Oh, we all have
something that follows. We all got baggage.
[laughing] - This is gonna be a little,
little controversial to say I think, but... [tense music] To me, Abby was always right. I did interrupt
two adults talking. If I was a mess and a beat off, she wasn't just yelling at me
'cause she wanted to yell at me. I actually was a mess
and was a beat off. One thing that I've learned, like, really working
insane in Hollywood is that that's normal. And it's like, it's scary
that that's normal. But that taught me how to
survive in the industry. I mean, it truly is so tough. - Coming in, it
wasn't necessarily welcoming from the moms
and even us for the kids. They weren't super welcoming. And even down to
getting her jacket. You know, Abby literally
let everyone in the room say what they hated about JoJo. [dramatic music] - The first reason is
sometimes she's very loud. Sometimes she's off
in the group dances. You had some timing issues. - Obviously you're
crazy in public. - It was ugly. It was just ugly. - It's hard though,
when people come in and they feel entitled. - I definitely don't feel
JoJo ever walked in entitled. - Well, you had a plan. - I came to the show
to do Dance Moms. I did not have a plan. - You got to watch it
for how many seasons before you came on. So when we started the show, we were like, stupid
moms from Pittsburgh. - I have so much respect
for you guys and your kids. - We're gonna band JoJo as this. Where we were like-- - I didn't brand JoJo as that. JoJo is herself. I got my kid on a TV show just like you got your
kid on a TV show. That was it. Like we watched the
show, we danced all day. We came home and we watched
Dance Moms at night. [Jill laughs]
Like that was it. - At the end of the day, Dance
Moms is a dynamite empire that anyone who is lucky enough to just be a little
bit of a part of is in the cool kids club. And if you wanna
(bleep) on that, then that's your own fault. [cheering]
- Hell yeah, JoJo, I love that. - [Bryan] JoJo, you're saying
how much you loved Abby, but there was a
time when you had an unforgettable disagreement. Let's take a look. - She did a good job last week. You poured blood on her. You put a four inch
crown on her head. She did a good job. - Well, if you're so good,
you don't really need to be a part of the
Abby Lee Dance Company. - Yeah, ooh. [tape ripping] - Can you put her
picture back up? She deserves to
be on the pyramid. She was in the group dance. - She deserves nothing! Don't have an attitude that
you are entitled in this world! You are not! You deserve nothing else! You earn it! You can't stand here and cry. - Well, if you yell
at me, I'm gonna cry. - Get out. Go.
- Let's go. Let's go.
- Go. - Let's go, we're
going home, right now. - [Chloe] She can't handle
anyone talking back. - No matter how bad it got, I always wanted to be there and I didn't care if
Abby yelled at me. I didn't care if I
was at the bottom. I didn't care if I was in
the back of the group dance. My mom would say to me,
she'd say all the time, she'd say, "Say the word
and we'll go home." And I would tell her,
like in moments like this, I'd be like, I'm not, I'm
not, I won't say the word. I don't want to go home. - But like, you left. Why did you leave? [dramatic music] - It was tough. We got, [chuckles] I
was gonna say diagnosed. We got diagnosed
with a ballet dance. [laughing] - That's what it felt like! That's what it felt
like for JoJo, though. That's literally
what it felt like. - And it was just like,
the ballet teacher who didn't know us
choreographed this ballet dance and it was bad. And I was like, we weren't
taking classes at this point. - Yeah.
- It was bad. And I'm not a technical dancer. Like gimme a step, I can
bust the (bleep) down. - They know what
they were doing. - And then I left after that. - My next duet, JoJo and Kendall. [cheering]
- Yay! - You are doing
a ballet routine. It will be in the
ballet category. [JoJo laughing] - How is the, doh... - [Jill] I think it's
gonna be good for you. - You're not doing it? No, honey.
- Aw, JoJo. - [Holly] Y'all take a moment. Not the left grande
jeté! [laughing] - Why is she crying
about a dance or steps? - [Jess] 'Cause she thinks she's
gonna look terrible on stage. - She didn't look bad at all. - [Jess] In front
of a million people. It's stupid. You're
making them look stupid. You're not doing it. This is settled. It's done. You're not doing it. No
one can make you dance. - Girls, where is
the class clown? Where is JoJo? - Ooh, she hasn't
told us anything. - We haven't seen her today. I haven't talked to her today.
- Really? Come on. You guys are thicker
than thieves! - Shall we call Jess? [phone ringing]
- Guaranteed no answer. - [Voicemail] You have
reached the voicemail. - No go. - I am personally
hurt and offended that Jess and JoJo did
not show up for rehearsal. Not a phone call,
not an email, zip. And damn it, I deserve more. - No, you deserve
nothing. [laughing] - You all know that
so much more happened. A few weeks prior, I had been offered a
deal from Nickelodeon and I had Dance Moms, but
I wasn't able to do both. - You were so young. That's a huge choice
that you have to make. What career do I want? - I remember you saying,
"I'm not gonna stick around and have Abby ruin
my kid's career by making her do stupid dances." - And I kind of was
a little paranoid that if Abby got wind of things
that JoJo could be doing, she would really try
to like, you know? And I was like, we
gotta figure this out. We gotta like, sit down. We gotta make really, it's
a chess game, you know? We gotta be smart about it. - So who decided to
leave, you or JoJo? - It was hard. But ultimately it was
my decision, not JoJo's. - If I could go back in time,
I wouldn't change a thing. - [Paige] Yeah. - I wouldn't change
the way that I left. Ultimately, I decided that that was gonna be the
right path for me. - [Bryan] But even
though you had one of the hardest
relationships with Abby, out of all the girls,
you have probably one of the closest
relationships with her now. - I definitely have
a way different relationship with Abby,
I think, than anybody. I do credit a lot
of my thick skin and my ability to handle
good news, bad news, to Abby. - Let me make something clear. I don't give her
credit for my success. I went on to be successful
in spite of her. - Yeah.
- Not because of her. - Yeah, one thing we can all, we all know is that she's nuts. - Abby is a whack.
- You don't say? - She is a drama queen, she is a whack, and she's funny. - I'm sorry, my
hat messed me up. - Nia, I was in the theater
when a man's hand was severed by a set coming down. - What?
- Drama. - Nobody missed a
beat of their dance. [laughing] - They fell out when she did
her side aerial, it went down. - I know, but that's dangerous. What if she was at
Radio City Music Hall? And the thing was open for the
ice skating rink to come out and she did a side aerial and
fell 13 stories down and died? Huh? When this light turns red, I'm gonna stop
them from turning. Whoa. Whoa.
[car horns honking] It's this.
- Nope. We're not dancing in the street. - Look, and I made it. [car horns honking]
Just wait a minute. One minute. Can you hit me? Please, hit me. [laughing] Every once in a while, we
have to take the trash out. - That's all, Abby, that's all.
- Let's go. Come on. - No, I don't have to go.
- Yes, you do need to go. - Don't touch me.
- Come on. - Don't touch me because I
have 911 on speed dial. - Spatial awareness.
- Abby, don't do it. Abby, don't do it. [laughing] - Kelly, I was the first
one at the hospital when your husband ran
over your kid's foot! I was in the hospital
room hugging your kid. And now you say those
things about me? How dare you! - That happened? - She has a solo
and a duet to do and Kelly's not pulling it. She's not pulling it. She's not gonna cry. The kid's not gonna
run off the stage. She's gonna go, she's
gonna do the solo. It's gonna be good. And we're all gonna have fun! - We're gonna have fun! - [Bryan] Let's go
around the room.
