it to Port Elizabeth we are at the airport and we have just picked up our high car we've got the Toyota Urban Cruiser which is like a mini RAV for it's costing us $35 a day driving around Port Elizabeth is beautiful with its tranquil beaches and relaxed atmosphere this coastal city is a quiet holiday destination we stayed at single Lodge which had really big rooms was reasonably priced and centrally located a whole little bar indoor shower and outdoor shower and then there's like a little bath thing we're at Ginger here in Port Elizabeth we've ordered the porn scar which is amazing got the rump coming rain's got the King Clip P green curry after speaking to locals we were told about Ginger it's a culinary gem in the heart of the city with the most delicious food can't complain with this setup it's freaking yummy it's 6:30 this morning we're up early ready to hit the road on our way to ad elephant National Park it's about 36 minutes away we're driving from Port Elizabeth to the National Park we're heading into the south gate because to get to the north gate you got to take a road which takes you through motherwell don't go on that road because there's a lot of civil unrest it's very dangerous we're going along the coose road to get into the park through the sound it's important to check routes and make sure that it's safe in the areas that you're going to when you are traveling in South Africa because it's known to be a dangerous country we're almost at the entrance to the AR National Park you can see it's quite green out here which is really nice so fingers crossed we'll start seeing some animals we have spotted four or five elephants and they're on their way towards us now [Music] we have just come across a massive herd of elephants there's about 14 of them in front of us at the moment moms babies and big boys [Music] [Music] Brad and I are currently up on our car there was a massive out of elevant they came straight towards their car was absolutely amazing oh my goodness out of this freaking world the park entry fees were about $25 Australian dollars per person per day on Entry you'll receive a map showing you different drives you can take through the Park's unique Landscapes which span through dense thickets to expansive grassy Plains providing a rich habitat for a variet of species we're headed to a watering hle [Music] [Music] now [Music] oh my gosh wow wow that Ellie got honestly about a meter and a halfway from our car it pucked its ears up forward so it means it's aggressive Asser its dominance and we were ring its par so we quickly started move forward a couple me settle in near ad elephant National Park is not only conveniently located but also offers a superb stay combining comfort and proximity to the park for an enriching and enjoyable experience welcome to jeffy's bike [Music] up here to J Bas surf Village we're going to go shopping see if we can find any goodies and maybe get a board high for tomorrow morning Ned a few things and now we're off to our accommodation we we stayed at beach music hotel in jeffy's Bay which is a standout Choice praised for its exceptional Seaside charm lovely accommodations and a welcoming Ambience that adds to the crystal experience so nice how good this unreal views for days this is where we'll be having coffee in the morning I think the sun's out and we've made it down to the beach we've also just seen a huge whale out there as well playing around it just splashes everywhere Jeff's Bay located along the Eastern Cape is renowned for its worldclass surf breaks attracting surf enthusiasts from around the globe the town's pristine beaches like super tubes and Dolphin Beach offer not only thrilling waves but also a picturesque backdrop for relaxation Beyond surfing Jeffrey's Bay a vibrant Arts and Cultural scene as well as heaps of breweries to choose from making it the perfect laidback Coastal Escape Margarita is at the local Mexican and it's really good coffee in bed we are hiring a board this morning and some wedes and we're going to head out into the ocean the sun's out and it's going to be an awesome morning for [Music] USA [Music] saying goodbye to jeffy's Bay today as we head further down the Garden Route and oh my goodness this place has my heart it's a little slice of Australia on the African coast and we loved it here we're here at blor Bridge and man it's pretty high we are about to do the bunge which is one of the highest in the world it's uh 260 M wish us Lu it's going to be big the ner something to kick in pry good good to go ready on our way now heading to the Bri Bridge first we jump on a zip line to the middle of the bridge that that was good I just start it [Applause] off 5 4 3 2 1 that was so good there's so much blood in my head right now though I feel like it's going to explode made it he's come to rescue me come was great man that was Unreal woohoo why okay 5 4 3 2 1 figh wow that is day that's awesome all right they've come and got me I am getting hoisted back up upside down that was the most crazy thing I've done in my life man holy look at those views I'm safe everyone I'm safe I've made it that initial jump is insane but once you fall you know you've can't do anything about it so hold on and how you feeling that was so good unreal oh man adrenaline of Rush the pump is real yeah it's insane I think I'm going to be wide for the whole rest of today and maybe even tomorrow to be back if you come and you don't want to do the bungee you can come on a walking tour and it takes you in this cage along the bridge and it gives you the most amazing view with a open Great Floor when the start's taking up the tension I was expecting it to be a lot more abrupt and like aggressive but it was very soft you barely even notice here just successful jump we've made it into titama National Park and we are headed to the suspension bridge which is at storms River on our way to the suspension bridge now there are heaps of different Trails here in the National Park lot of hiking and amazing views to be done and seen definitely a spot to stop along the Garden Route and to get a bit of nature in you it was such a beautiful afternoon here we have done a bit of a walk around enjoyed the suspension bridge all to ourselves and we are now headed to platenburg we stayed at the Joneses which is a sorta and affordable accommodation in PL with its stylish design impeccable amenities and prime location we loved it plattenburg Bay Captivate visitors with its breathtaking Coastal Beauty featuring golden beaches and Lush indigenous forests we woke up early and made our way to Nature's Valley which is nestled between Lush forest and the Indian Ocean Nature's Valley is a tranquil Haven celebrated for its pristine Beach and Indigenous biodiversity we're sitting here having some lunch we got some leftto pizza from last night we're at the river mouth here in Nature Valley and it's just [Music] beautiful making our way back to plattenburg we had a spontaneous stop we have got ourselves some Ros Betto Vineyard it's a beautiful Vineyard just on the outskirts of platenburg and it's definitely worth the visit because it's so scenic such a nice afternoon and the food is delicious we're about to wander down into The Vineyards now Brad is thoroughly enjoying this R is honestly the best I've ever had I could smack the whole bottle [Music] back Brad and I are here at the lookout which is a beautiful restaurant on the waterfront in platenburg definitely one to check out if you're in the area platenburg has this gorgeous little gift shop Cafe and Bakery which is called the old house shop my gosh so cute shop goes forever it even has an upstairs you could spend ages just looking through all of their gorgeous just things we're in robberg National Park here in penberg Bay we're busy making our way to witsand where the seal colony is the 5 and 1/2k L we' made it here to witsand the seal Colon's just over our shoulder here they're so loud we can hear them squawking and swimming playing around with sand here is a massive big sand dud up on the top of the CL so we're going back over the other side round to the beach and back to the car park the other side of the peninsula and there's a whole [Music] sandb excited for tonight because we have booked accommodation in a beautiful Treehouse at the back of the coastal town of niser along the Garden Route [Music] this is so very cool our own little treeh house bedroom a little bathtub and sink that is so cute and then views for absolute days look how cute this is it's just beautiful wow wow wow we've made it to the Treetops and it is absolutely awesome our own tented accommodation out in the rainforest we're literally up in the canopy is absolutely [Music] awesome [Music] [Music] tanqua tree Toops did not disappoint last night was seriously such a pleasure being up in the canopy red wine some yummy star and a relaxed evening and then waking up in the trees this morning was something else we're now headed towards Wilderness which is another stop along the Garden Route that's not to miss but before we hit Wilderness we're stopping in at the Wild Oats Saturday farmers [Music] market today we're going on the half collar king fisher Trail here in Wilderness National Park it's about 3.6 km one way all the way out so about seven all the way back in this walk is so relaxing you are literally surrounded by Rolling Hills and rainforest and the trail is so easy it's just nice and flat through the greenery so on this Trail we're going to encounter a floating ferry that we have to pull ourselves across the river and then we will continue on to a nice big waterfall at the end the last flly of stairs onwards onto the waterfall these Falls are the perfect spot for a lunchtime picnic come and enjoy the natural space it's so [Music] relaxing we've made it to our accommodation here in Wilderness and the views don't get much better I think we're in for an amazing Sunset if you're in Wilderness I'm here to Selena restaurant for Sunset looks over the beach and it's just beautiful and look at this amazing spread we've [Music] got today we are going cage shark diving one of the best places to go and see the Sharks is muscle Bay or hindes Bay which is where we're going today all dressed up and ready to hit the [Music] ocean there's some pretty big swell today I just realized that I'm going to have all fish ju after this time to put the cage in the water she go zip her up ready to go it's freezing cold oh my God and they've closed the lid on us in the cage and we're going to be under the water with the Sharky soon the water's about 15° so it's pretty fresh negative it's freaking negative de cage shark diving is a unique opportunity to witness sharks up close in their natural habitat these excursions used to cure cages to provide a safe but exhilarating
