apex legends launched with bangalore and in season 13 we got our boy newcastle because there's so much awesome story and lore behind bangalore and newcastle let's get going and pop the smoke to make them broke anita williams was born into a fifth generation imc military family on the planet of gridiron in the year 26-95 she was raised with four brothers the youngest being jackson oldest being zeke and smashed somewhere in between there was monty and zaya the family shared this tradition before any of them got deployed called the williams send-off they'd spend the morning before drinking some beer and with the bottle caps they'd make a bracelet for whoever was getting deployed symbolizing family and a reminder of what they were fighting for eventually bangalore and jackson had their own william send off as they both were sent to the same boot camp since they had always shared in this fun competitive rivalry growing up they used the scorecard to mark who was better in things like first to say their first word fastest to disassemble an r201 first to be deployed and first to spit on vice admiral graves and by a graduation day of boot camp their scorecards were even at 99 points but because jackson got his deployment orders a few days before bangalore he technically won the competition bangalore being a bad sport ripped up the scorecard was all pissed off but abruptly stopped as the imc broadcasted breaking news about the war against the militia remember how we kind of destroyed the planet in titanfall 2 well their brother zeke was also kinda stationed there as a scientist within the aries division so this created a burning hatred within bangalore for the militia jackson was so worried that bangalore would go rogue after the news of zeke's death that he had her transferred to his ship the ims hesg01 for immediate deployment their mission the impossible task of defending the imc's last stronghold on gridiron against the overwhelming militia force that had surrounded the planet during the fight jackson ordered his crew to smuggle an energy source that had been recovered from the wreckage on typhon from the imc's labs on gridiron knowing the battle was lost he disobeyed orders by retreating back to his ship where he then amplified its drives with the energy source to perform an emergency jump into deep space because the rule follower bangalore disagreed with jackson's plan and could have started a mutiny she was locked in the ship's stasis chambers right before the jump and would normally would take a travel time of 20 years only took the hestia one year because of the drives but at the expense of frying the energy source resulting in a crash landing on storm's points and islands on the planet gaia bangalore was awoken and back to furious with jackson for not only abandoning the fight but also their family the crew reported that they'd lost contact with everyone stationed in the frontier due to some unexplainable communication blackout that somehow hadn't affected the planets in the outlands stubborn and angry bangalore made the flat brain decision to broadcast an emergency evacuation signal which was answered by commander scryer an imc pilot after his arrival he attempted to execute jackson for treason but bangalore intervened overcompensating for something screyer committed the casual war crime of bombing civilians right before fighting the williams and although he was far better trained and equipped with a jump pack cloaking tech and the data knife equivalent of a serrated kukri bangalore and jackson had something much stronger plot armor and power of family [Music] [Music] with their old ship bombed in the death of commander scryer the crew took control of his ship and for a few years took odd jobs planet hopping to get by over time jackson and bangalore grew closer together and eventually he confessed why he deserted the imc he not only wanted to protect her but had learned that the aries division was develop a planet-destroying cold weapon and that they planned to kill billions with it fortunately for them jack cooper and bt fix that problem in titanfall 2. protocol 3 protect the pilot what are you doing trust me a week or so later the ship was flying above the planet solas when either a live space junk grenade or one meant to sabotage struck the hull jackson shielded bangalore from the blast but was ejected as a result his fate was uncertain so bangalore held out hope that one day they'd be reunited and after six months she got the courage to go through jackson's things and found their old scorecard it had been taped back together and there was a new line at the bottom reading a comes before j and the alphabet implying jackson would always put anita first she then found a note that read what's been torn apart can always be put back together these simple messages refueled her hope in finding him and when she was later working as a security guard on solas was contacted by incognito mode crypto about a video file of jackson he'd found in the imc's database to access the video file bangalore traveled all the way over to king's canyon to use crypto's hack drive on an imc computer she was overwhelmed with joy to see her brother once again but it was short-lived as the drive was swiped within minutes by voidwalker wraith unknown to her jackson had survived the fall for the ship above solas went into hiding and left his old life behind to protect her under the new name of lamont craig he met a woman and on the night of their wedding recorded the video for their parents to see i also got a little frisky and popped out baby grill larissa four years later okay back to bang all she knew was that jackson had tried to contact her parents at some point in time so the best thing she could do was try to win matches in the apex games to raise enough money to fund a trip back to gridiron and after joining things were going really well until mid-match in the fifth season when a massive explosion plunged skulltown into the river bangalore rushed over amidst the destruction and detained the believed culprit oba seconds later the head of hammond robotics legal team cheryl amachi the same person that covered up revenant's murder of forage arrived on scene and instead of condemning the destruction of the greatest poi in apex history instead announced kloba as the newest addition to the apex games this pissed off bangalore because winning the games was her only way back to gridiron and she thought lobo was just a two-faced reckless criminal in her way loba then began enlisting the help of the legends to hunt down pieces of an artifact that were in the shadowfall dimension but because that seemed real sus bangalore believed lobo was doing something shady on behalf of amid robotics to scope things out bang sent octane of all people on a secret intel gathering mission disguised as a date with a hammond robotics employee octane a persuasion enjoyer learns that loba is indeed working with hammond to find some kind of a source code bang reveals this information to everyone and then secretly follows loba to her ship revenant appears to loba out of nowhere does a little small talk or whatever but ultimately confesses his wishes to die bangalore then pops out of cover to protect loba but revenant disappears like a fart in the wind and the two ultimately chatted up but getting a little bit of a flirty relationship and later on bangalore was chilling at a restaurant sipping some bubbly after an apex game with jibby and loba until out of nowhere bangalore bolts out the restaurant chasing some rando down the street jibby and loba are like what the hell is going on trying to try to intervene but she tackles the guy dead sprint and demands to know where he got his jacket scared for his life he blurts that he snaked it off an injured dude in the hospital but he's cut off because some prowlers show up for the third party and kill him i guess i don't know apparently the guy was wearing one of jackson's jackets hinting that he may still be alive in the drop ship before another apex game wraith finds bangalore's pilot knife being that she was an ex-science pilot for the imc she offers to check if it's a data knife and has any information on jackson abruptly again bangalore loses her yelling you are not taking anything else from me which catches wraith so off guard because she's not even sure what bangalore is referring to but before she can get a word in bangalore drops hot and it wouldn't be until season 9 during the medusa vine outbreak that bangalore revealed why she hated brave after getting real sick from the mysterious disease that caused bloody eyes and killed within three days bang was brought to a local hospital on olympus where wraith started to look after her she really wanted to leave to help the legends find a cure but wraith just wouldn't let her so the two got into a little fight over this resulting in bang blaming rape for stealing the video drive from earlier that would have maybe led her to jackson race all confused like nah fam that wasn't me that was another dimension me that's actually from this dimension but now i am me but always wasn't she is there but here i am now confused as bang's like cool story and agrees to be partners again with wraith the legends eventually create a cure for the disease and while bang is recovering rampart asks if she's gonna get a little bound check mountain with loba but bang plays it off as if they're just friends and man wouldn't it be awkward if lobo was right there listening the whole time so she's as she gets mad throws away the flowers she brought and storms off after the mercenary syndicate acquired storm point for the 11th season of the apex games wraith stopped by while bang was repairing an old radio transmitter she had found a contact in seoul city that was working on a new lead to find jackson bang not having the best luck with lead so far is like oh yeah remember that jacket led nowhere that video file nowhere so why would this rando in a city be any better taken aback again wraith starts to leave saying yeah alright well i'll do my best i guess and with a thud revenant shows up unexpectedly because his goal in life is to die he needs his source code that loba sent via phase runner to gridiron in season seven he also knows bangalore's family is in gridiron and if they pooled their resources they'd be able to get there faster than 20 years so he tries to coerce her by spitting that jackson is either dead or wants nothing to do with her and because her parents are getting old they could be dead by the time she'd be able to fund her own 20-year long trip after that she starts to consider taking him up on his offer especially after hearing the bad news from wraith that her contact in solo city had found morgue records of a body that matched jackson's age height weight and even blood type and it had his dog tags i should have found the record sooner but solas marks are well marks on soulless broken after hearing the news aang starts getting therapy and tried confiding in loba about it all but let slip that she was considering going back to gridiron with the help of revenant there's nothing left for me here and someone offered me a ride who pathfinder's causing or whatever he's looking for now no uh revenant elder mono he's going to find his head and you're living with him you want my advice here it is in the hospital on olympus i heard you say you and i were just friends but you were wrong we were never just friends and we never will be so leave because you're right there is nothing for you here and after that bangalore agreed to leave apex legends with revenant to travel to gridiron sad defeated but accepting that she'd never see jackson again bang holds one last william sendoff by herself at the wreckage site of their old ship the hestia one because this is a funeral and i don't have the footage from your first send off to watch so this'll have to do all these years without a family i never felt lonely so long as i kept hoping you were out there brother annoying people knocking their elbows before a shot making him feel better only thing i know is you belonged out here felt you were needed felt the way i to mirage's bar where her friends throw her a quick farewell party before her last apex game her replacement and squadmate with mirage is robocop looking ass newcastle after dropping in some overfed submerged lobster triggers an imc security protocol unearthing an armory bang runs in to grab a weapon but holy sentries start dropping in from everywhere out of my way chill boom chill boom shield no ammo get out with foreshadowing but wait mr krabs arrives fuse goes oh my belt goes down but loba tp's back for the razors newcastle doubles down on path well bang drops the heat mr krabs uses hyperboor but it's not very effective so newcastle encourages teaming as bangkops are all octane gives it the ronaldo and this is awesome and as the dust settles bang first checks on her old fling's new ship and then waddles on over to newcastle all right arm is a little banged up but i'll be all right good because you've got a lot to answer for jackson okay hold up let's rewind after jackson had left his wedding video message for his parents and had a couple kids he took up a job where he'd sometimes repair the armor of harris valley's hero newcastle while tucking his daughter in for bed one night she asked him to find her newcastle plushie that she must have lost somewhere he eventually finds it on the street just outside his shop but here's some ruckus from the alley as he approaches he sees newcastle getting beat up by some thugs because he had failed nearly 40 times to get into the apex games they say he won't be able to repay his debts to which newcastle says look man it's not me these crappy teammates are dragging me down and then it's not my fault just give me another shot there's your shot just as he's about to get finished jackson dives in to save him he goes dead ass captain america mode against a couple mobile players and slide boosts for newcastle's shield racer after saving him for a second time he corners main gang man who explains that the deadbeat on the ground sold the town to their gang at the forgotten families and that if his boss doesn't get paid no one in the town will be safe given his whole family kind of lives there jackson makes a deal to become newcastle which works out real well as spoiler the old dude dies anyways so now jackson competes as newcastle in the apex games not only to protect his sister but also to pay off the gang
