that we'll keep that just cut just queer yet just cut me out welcome to the fed up show guys thank you for kelan for doing the amazing intro is fun time Freddie as you guys know kelan is fun time Freddie at the voice actor in sister location and five nights of 36 and we haven't spoke since the charity stream oh there he is as his little pop figure to get that for free did you go in the store and say whenever my friends and I go into Hot Topic they're always like oh you should tell them and I'm like yes sure don't want you do you find it weird I find this weird by the way when I go into shops and stuff or arcades and are safe enough merch it always makes me feel weird it's a light well I've I've done videos and stuff on this it's it's just it's a surreal feeling it's like not weird anymore but like I I'm in avid I'm in transfer yes yes yes so whenever I go to Target or Toys R Us to try and find one I the Phenom stuff is always in the same aisle yeah so I like to if I'm there it's like yeah it's bounced fat for you cuz you're you're the freakin toy artist evideos on it I'm not actually a part of her Nath Sunday happen do you know that song by uh by Matisyahu no wonder it's it's a song called one day it's about like world peace and stuff and me and my friends like he says it just like that like one day so every time when my friend says one day or yeah maybe one day we always all scream at him one day we're like that wherever we are I hope that gets wide spread yes one day there you go what oh okay is a nice question cannon he's a good question well I have funky Jana of Camacho vo finger sad annoyed my best friend Tiana actually uh she was my little helper add kinetic on as well levity Anna Karenina before you a scene question I'm going to eat a cheese puffs yeah before the podcast guys and for those with cheese puffs but there are actually carrots yeah he's got a bag of carrots about 50 carats shows the health yeah yeah well I alpha Lee I swear they just look like cheese puffs oh yeah yeah yeah I trust you word for alpha a and yes hey crisps Christmas get it Roy no I know how are you in general I'm okay um the works been good yeah contrary to popular belief and apps not my only horse you know yeah I do a list of guys know just for now oh yeah I said that I said I do D D D for that god no but I'm fine um you know the the I I've been casting a lot of stuff as well so trying to branch out into other parts of the vo world I know that you did some thinking a high-end toy I love that guy and by the way yeah yeah I was um everybody's favorite the snatcher I'm I'm the minions of him the little the little toe headed guys the the guys that are like hey you better not fall it you better not trip and fall hey you're not allowed to wear your hat in here sorry you know that kind of thing yeah cool if you could have picked any career other than being a voice actor what do you think he would have become uh when I was in elementary school I I thought and every one of my friends thought and all my teachers thought that I was going to be an author and illustrator of children's books Wow again somewhere because my uh my godfather Bruce Hale he wrote this series called Chet Gekko and it's about this detective who's a gecko and I was kind of inspired by him to make like I somewhere around here I have like books and books and books of printer people that a printer paper that I've stapled together and I like made these comic books like my kids that store rip off and my own original heroes and just a bunch of stories that I used to write and everybody thought that's what I was going to do and then I discovered voice acting and I changed real quick but um if voice acting ever fell through I'd still like to do that but I think the thing that I would probably be doing his audio engineering because I am trained in that field and you know I got more to learn before I can become certified to do it professionally but uh but I think that's what I would want to do with my life of not voice acting nice and what would what would I do if after you achieve I don't know roadside VB Oh honestly I do like voice I like doing voices even though I'm terrible at them I like I like being different characters and stuff you know yeah but do you like oh yeah well YouTube kind of is acting really like technically speaking you do have to put on a show and you know alright you know it it's just there's this common misconception that voice acting is all about the different voices you yeah it's by performing as well because I did a little bit of voice in before and it's not just like this you gotta be like oh yeah you gotta like act it as well behind the scene we've you're the Cure yeah exactly voice acting is actually I would argue harder than actual acting because you can't use your visual expressions you can't use your hands you all you have to channel everything through this yes and they it can be very difficult yes I've seen people who take it for granted and I'm it saddens me when they try and get into this and they're like wait it wasn't just about doing funny voices speaking of voice acting then and he said that and that you got into voice acting when was this um way back in 2006 Jesus yeah 12 years ago yeah no kidding it's well I didn't really get into it until 2008 but no way 2007 excuse me but um in 2006 I used to be an animator I used to be a cartoonist and they were awful and nobody's ever going to see them a madam exclusive preview on the Fidesz Oh ruin it's it's like it's like stuff that you private on your YouTube cuz you're afraid it will ruin your career it's like it's like not bad but it's like hey wow that's pretty cool let's do some epic stuff and and and it's like awfully draw and I use the circle tool and the default color palette it's awful and tweens I found I that animation was very taxing on my patience because I was not very patient back then I don't think I'll have the patience to do animation ever animators and artists I respect them so much because it is so much time and so much like work that they put into their craft I respect them endlessly but um I went into Super Smash Brothers Brawl machinima after that I used to film the TV screen with my little handy cam and and edit it together in Windows Movie Maker with the with the blue background text and stuff it was the worst um eventually I got a capture card but even then I was a I liked it for a while but more and more I found and my friends who had me voice in there brawl Machinima's as well because we all voiced in each other's brawl Machinima's it was just like that little community we we I've found that I like the acting portion of it more and I was doing acting in high school at that point I was in a bunch of musicals and plays but you know I I found I liked acting and contributing to projects more than I liked making my own that's not to say I won't ever make my own I've got a couple ideas it's just I like helping other people bring their visions to life more than my own visions if that makes sense sconed ocean asked why did my wife leave me I am your wife uh fi Rose asked if you could ever voice another character in for Nath what would it be mango mango what what how would that voice go I honestly wouldn't even give it a voice yeah like just jumbled crap gobble no not even just like creature like creature noises yeah like we were like a robot voice we've read eating yeah yeah I can imagine that that would be really cool actually yeah there are some that don't need to talk yeah exactly this some animatronics it shouldn't talk I used to say entered but the popular fan theory is that molten freddy is technically entered so yes I don't I don't say it anymore well technically he could well be well technically Multan freddy is ended but martin freddie is controlling energy so technically you are not on Freddy but I'm also a nerd yeah yes so basically if my head got chopped off and put onto your body it would still be me voicing you but I'd still have your body okay yeah that's scary yeah yeah Kurt Jones 22 asked hey kelan when Scott chose you to voice funtime Freddy did you get nervous on what players might have thought when they heard it for the first time or basically your reaction to Scott saying your fun time Freddy he didn't he didn't he never told me that I was fun time Freddie I only found out when the game came out really yeah why is it troll to everyone that way everyone in his words he believes in probable deniability so he doesn't tell anyone anything they don't have to know which I could respect I was very surprised that yeah so in the game you didn't know until the game came out that I was the first ever voice of Freddie that's crazy it is it is Crichton was up for everyone else as well I'm guessing so everyone else didn't know pretty much I mean Andy had kind of an idea cuz he was pretty much creating a new character so yeah and it was so many words that he got a he got an idea but other than that I don't know if anybody knew hmm fanatical IT Frey asked how many tykes of fun time Freddie's voice did you have to do before you for this is fun time Friday um there is an answer for that and I hadn't thought about this for a while but I I think I've told this story before that I was like really really tired like I had three hours of sleep when I got the audition and I had I think I had to get myself psyched up so I think I might have done two takes of just of other ideas before I went into what Freddy is yeah but uh I I scrapped them and I forget what they are and they're deleted forever so nobody with a with a with this with AI similar to the funtime Freddy eternal boy with Allah Allah blessed man I had I had three hours of sleep I can't remember spit you know yeah we can't really think of it of a voice of fun song Freddy now like if one time Freddy a dirty through the German accent oh yeah yeah yeah I remember that I they they'd said unsettling for adults but kids love him so that's what I thought of at the time and there have been some some fans from Germany that have gotten offended at that I just want to publicly apologize if you were offended at that I never meant to you say that the the German way of speaking was creepy for all of them just that there have been depictions of a very creepy Germans that I took from like the medic from tf2 yeah and yeah and I can't think of another one and medic from tf2 might have been the inspiration for German Freddie why can whenever you see doctors and stuff like asylum doctors they're always like German and stuff yeah yeah like as Americans and stuff yeah so I wanted something but but if a kid heard that they'd be like you know but um but yeah I I don't think that I don't think that I considered heavily anything else for Freddie I think just what I did I was like send it off and then I fell asleep on the floor yeah have you seen Dobbin chica no was that you know seen dabbing chica in your life basically there was a new book what came out yeah and this was in the book that's my first opinion whoa what's wrong we double chica I hate Davin yeah they hate it he told it it was old like two years after people like what they like mm-hmm okay as long as it's not harmful to anybody else whatever like what you want yeah exactly exactly and we're going to judge anybody for like and hashtag Kellan's carrots Cowen's carrots yes that is that you should make a business it no this is you got a that no one always asking you about your job if you stop voice acting my carrot business Callens carrots and the care in the sea and carrot is okay yeah yeah Callens carrots Callens carrots I don't have any fertile land near me man I may be me you know what last ditch effort if I really need the money shirt Kelvin's carrots pylons carrots will go with it nope run out ate too free and asked because we know that there was some unused loins for fun time Freddy's sister location whether any for molten Freddy that one in the game say you know I'd like to say um I'll just say yes and I won't say how many okay cool yeah there was there was some uncooked there's always unused stuff there I I don't think I've ever been in anything where they've used all my lines yes it's like an episodic thing yeah yeah Michael asked when did you get involved in four enough six um I think I'm allowed to answer that wait wait the voice-acting always comes last I recorded for it like a month before okay so like November October the day I recorded was November 8 2017 the literally a month before but well yes three three three four weeks before when did you find out about four enough did you find out about four enough for you for the audition or before we did we did talk about this I knew it out for now if when I was in high school yeah I knew about when I was like 18 or 17 and my friends would always try and make me play it and strap me to the chair Clockwork Orange style tried to make me play it but I always ran away strapped to me I was mad scared of it yeah it to this day kind of still but uh it's been with me for a while I just haven't been this involved until yes yeah yeah no I always still find the first one this barrassed always yeah that is it sort of primally like nothing's come before it there's not really much story to it it's just like spooks yes why yeah we the greatest fear is the fear of the unknown yeah exactly you just get slapped into an office and you see animatronics around you yeah like there is an introduction with foam go and stuff but the animatronics don't speak they don't do anything they just stare at you that's it that's why I thinking ser call well then that started to get a bit like old but then the voices came in and that's where we are now and I love the animatronic voices I think they're awesome papi carp he asked who came first the chicken or the egg I like it I like it I like the user name though what's a Sharpie harpy copy copy heartbeat harpy puppy puppy copy wha feed all P I I don't know if it was ever an egg no I think the cupcake came first yeah yeah well I'll say that case closed dude yeah how's your voice after voice in front on Friday it's good um I do it in o1 I have a flap in my throat that lets it not hurt and to I do it in a way where it's not damaging to my throat just it takes a lot of adrenaline okay yeah and for everything else I have my lozenges oh cool like I can't shout well I can't show it just kills me can well I can I've never lost my voice before from screaming I am I am pretty loud but it does hurt but I've never had it like I lose my voice I've never lost my voice ever from Kevin that's probably a good thing you don't cuz like there's no repairing vocal cords of God and they're done yeah they don't like heal yeah that's it you you only have a set amount of vocal cords let's see how we get on it's the voice acting challenge okay just came right in my head straight away okay okay cool it's gonna be a flash fire round of free okay I'm gonna name three animatronics insist location or any of the other games and let's say us eye and hand unit you have to pretend and voice the best of your potential to be hand unit and then I do it as well and then if I say blow out you do below right i double or etc and can we extend this beyond for Nath even for like a lightning round lake just consider a quick fire round and then do a lightning round yeah okay of characters from other IPs that way yeah sure yeah yeah okay how about me okay the first voice we shall present to you is baby baby I don't recognize you your face doesn't look like a animatronic you look like fleshy ur amazing boy a guy don't hug me I'm scared okay okay and yeah oh he's just crying I don't know that he meant a real baby I thought he meant him character baby okay hey do you want this ice cream in my chest it's my birthday party just take the ice cream little boy yeah that's my baby pretty good thanks why why why though cuz a baby boy I've I've a did you think it's gonna pretend to be a vice baby and then you started crying how'd you do to the voice you just wake up one morning to go I'm gonna voice actor baby actually the voice of Porky Pig Bob Berg and taught me how to do that that guy he also taught me how to bark rah rah and he taught me how to be a Patera dactyl that stuff it's all in word be careful kids what's the next voice they're made hon JUnit welcome to your first day I will be here forever and also tell Kellan on Twitter that he's not handsome and amazing but in fact that is because I am compensating for my own non handsomeness and non amazingness here you can see the angsty team good that was good multiple i hope he doesn't see that what do you force on the movie this is the last question um I hope it's I hope it's going well we haven't heard anything about it and um everybody's asking me are you the voice of Freddy or Leigh heard or something but I don't think he's gonna have a voice I think he's just gonna be like metallic screams true toddler son f1 yeah this guy yeah um now that being said if they wanted to bring me in for like a cameo just to you know please the fans a little bit I would be completely open to that may take Scott if you watch it thank you but I don't think Scott has any say it but um but uh you know the the voice actors are the youtubers if you want to just like I was in a crowd scene that'd be pretty that'd be pretty funny everybody loves that little trivia
