The Evolution Of Magic | Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Episode 25 Reaction!

what's up guys and welcome to another video and let's get ready to wake up and react to another episode of frean episode 25 uh so last time where we pretty much left off was Fen and Fern and um uh what's his name dudan there not dudan that's Lord of the Rings denin oh my God dudan no not duden but um anyway they're coming up their whole group is coming up with a plan to defeat frein's copy and I think that they came up with a plan where it's going to be Fern who is the one who goes up against fan the rest of them are going to like I think try to like give her an opportunity like create an opening for her but because Fern can just rapid fire spells which just way way quicker than anyone else here um or that we've met yet or that frein's ever met it seems uh that's their best course of action it seems for now so there's that um The Other Side characters that are not with them um land and Yubel are hilarious those two are just iconic um and then I forgot webell his group they I think he's they're fairing pretty well like the matchups like he created where he's was saying they're pretty much spoton everything ended up aligning perfectly for them so yeah um didn't end yet their fight didn't end yet so we'll have to see how that goes but yeah this is this yeah I've just I just like it so far I like all the team ups but uh yeah other than that oh real quick I saw Dune 2 last night oh my God if you guys haven't seen it go watch watch it I was just sitting in awe after I got back from the movies and then I ended up not feeling well but um the movies bro oh my God the movie the movie I said the movies because that's where it was but the movie was just I don't want to say anything cuz I don't want to spoil it but I couldn't leave my chair like I was just I kind of felt similar to how I felt after seeing Oppenheimer of just that I don't even want to say with the feeling was cuz I don't want to like spoil it but if you've seen Oppenheimer and you know how you feel afterwards like that's kind of how I felt at the end of Dune 2 I was like okay so anyway you should go see Dune 2 I feel like that's the least spoilery I can be sorry so anyway oh God who is that oh are they going to help him heal him no are they allowed to do that they're all finally coming around yeah true [Music] oh spiegle why are you saying that so accusatory well I can't argue with that it would have been a better idea true she has every reason not to well the old part is what bothers you not the you would abandon your allies at the drop of a hat unless there were rules against it that doesn't bother you okay it's the old thing that got him okay all right every time I read that word I want to say smeagle every time the monsters weaken has no way of what attacking directly [Music] okay if you know all of your own weaknesses yeah H oh how fast she can okay was F and able oh yeah she was ready for it what I don't even know what they're talking about [Music] youell where's yell when you need her that sneaky girl man she's good you could probably use her in this situation I just read the top but I want to know what F just said you seem to be having fun yeah of course she loves magic she probably loves meeting other Mages is in collaborating himo the music that guy oh that's funny as [ __ ] I'm sorry it's an off day for him he's hung [Music] over [ __ ] A the planning it is fun working with your team whoa okay what do you call that subtle brag or something like that I can't remember all right let's go let's go let's go let's see the plan one of you keeps it busy while the other one tries to attack her she creates that opening okay oo look at first she like oh crap wow that's a cool match up man furin versus furin Beast versus Beast ghost goat not ghost goat versus goat [Laughter] oh [ __ ] she's self-aware oh but that's a moment you can use oh if I ever turn to the dark side you know what to do to kill me [Laughter] f the way Fen says it with that just like that devious smirk on her face when discussing like how to kill her it's just so weird I don't I forgot did you guys say is that the same voice actor that plays kilaa or no cuz it sounds just like Kila oh that's a big change yeah what is it that you want exactly then you only want the best to be able to use Magic yeah I don't know that just that just seems like something you just keep trying to tell yourself I only taught her on a whim just because you don't agree with her or you're upset with her because she doesn't agree with your mindset or perspective on things you just feels like you're being petty yeah I love [Music] Rin I would love it if Ren just said I'm good but she won't are you remembering when she was a child and you taught her on a whim the flower spell the beautiful spell why she did though maybe because she knew her life was relatively short compared to [Music] yours chills yep mhm we don't have that [Music] luxury it's [Music] here we're formidable even though we live a lot less than them like our our life ban is a lot less than theirs our time here can still be just as significant or a human she loves magic at the end of the day that's all it is that's all it's about to her who cares who's casting it oh Fen oh knows herself too well and that's why she's smiling right cuz she's like and she was right a demon king or a human Mage who's defeating her right now a human Mage oh [ __ ] I love it [Music] that's awesome that is awesome crap um take this out cuz I can't stand hearing this like never I haven't heard that before rubbing against my maybe it's usually cuz I have my hair out but it's like behind my ear right now um I can just hear it rubbing against the airpod and it's just nails award to me um yes so that whole conversation uh you know their their lifespan it's it's it's just like it goes by in a Flash compared to ours you know it's work our what did she say our lifetime is closer to Infinity um theirs is a lot closer to death so they have to be they they don't have the luxury of just being able to to like you know sit on a an idea or a dream for centuries you know like they have to act on it almost immediately and um if if they want to if they if they if it's something they truly desire and want some to see come to fruition um and I think that she's a little bit afraid like that might be part of it that might be part of it of why she didn't want to teach all of these humans uh how to cast because you're kind of used to being at the top of the food chain and now not necessarily so like yeah they may not live as long as you but clearly they're able to accomplish quite a lot in that little span of time um I mean I'm not saying that that's all that it is I'm sure not all of it is fear a I think a lot of it comes from her just kind of being like having this like elitist mindset you know like everyone has to be the only people who are who should be able to cast or understand or practice magic are the best of the best not every old any old Joel should be able to cast like they're not worthy of it um but after hearing her talk about it at length here it feels like at least part of it does stem from the fear that she'll be overtaken um at least to me at least to me um like you're giving fan that warning you got better be careful fan if it's not the Demon King it might be a human um don't underestimate them um so yeah but frein's response of oh I can't wait to see it can you imagine how many new spells and spellcasters like the things that they'll do the things that we'll see you just the evolution of magic she was excited to see it you know because like she said like flam this human this human nobody in Siri's eyes um was able to be the the founder of magic in humans and like the Catalyst and she's like yeah so like don't underestimate them and like like for f like Fen said I'm still kind of trying to uh um get my bearings with that that Zol Trak uh spell right there's still like I know I can respond to it like this but still in my mind there's a delay and that's what causes the delay like I I still have to like think about it for a minute for you it's just instinctual it's been like this since the day you were born it just is your reality it's ingrained in in your soul and and your mind and and your DNA but um which is just so weird to me like maybe there is something to be said about like well this is just bad my reality since the day I was born I there is no other way for me to to think about it or whatever but for you this is something relatively new for you it's taking time for you to like adjust which I guess I could see that um I could see that like my my um I guess like what would be a good see this is the thing I I don't want to say it because I don't think it's always the case okay so I'm going to give an example but I I'm going to say I don't think this is always the case I think it's a person to person um basis but some people might think like okay here's the example you know people who are older like like say your grandparents age right like maybe are a little bit slower to to catch up with technology as it's coming out but like if it was just this way when you were born there wouldn't be no like catching up you just like you were you were taught no other way there's like no other way to like you don't have to like retach your brain how to do something like it just is the way it is right or like learning one way to solve a math problem and then like over time they might get give you like there's a new way to solve it but if you were taught the original way you kind of have to rewire your brain and kind of like um yeah like what was the oh God what was I going to say um like nah I can't I can't uh I can't remember what the freaking analogy I was going to come up with was it left my brain but you get it rewire your brain um overwrite it so I guess it's like similar to that but then like at the same time I do think that there are people who are a little older who just get it like this like I'm the type of person that does not get it doesn't matter like I'm just so slow I'm just a so very slow learner so that's why I'm like I think it's a case personto person case and basis but or I don't know anyway um things don't come to me naturally but yeah so but I I do get her Point um to no no not even to some degree I do get her point I get it um but yeah um what else so it was really nice I think for Fen to see all of them working together because she's just like like everyone's different everyone's got a different perspective or maybe a slightly different approach to magic I mean you just see they've all got different personalities in the room so of course you've got to assume at least some part of the way they approach magic may be different um or a situation maybe different and just like seeing all these different Minds come together and bouncing ideas off of each other like this is what it is all about for her like she loves this she loves magic at the end of the day and that's all this is like like seeing all these different people who also love magic come together and share all their different ideas like that's so fun that's so fun I totally agree with her it it's the best um but yeah so this was a I don't know just a really great episode um and then like Forin you know she actually like I love how they kept like um showing us like okay when she had originally had this conversation duck supposed to like when she actually was experiencing it like when the conversation versus when it actually started to happen and just seeing like she was so happy and all of these moments like okay I can't wait till this day comes and then seeing that day come and seeing her experiences with all these humans and and their age it's going to be their time and she's experiencing their time and she is just as happy as she said she was going to be it's just beautiful it's a beautiful thing um I don't know I just love her mindset I just love frein's mindset but yeah anyway let me know what you guys thought of the episode Down in the comments below I can't
