The End of Saddam (and the beginning of his meme)

[Music] [Applause] that's a lot of nuts so in 2003 a coalition spearheaded by the u.s military invaded the country of iraq under the pretense that they had weapons of mass destruction now if you know anything about my channel you'll know that when the us invades a country they're not just adding supportive troops to an already existing militant group okay when the u.s invades a country the u.s invades a country your current existing dictatorship is going bye-bye and we're coming home with some fantastic olive oil i mean uh stopping weapons of mass destruction so saddam hussein was an existing dictator and the u.s figured you know what [ __ ] dictators it's time that you guys learned some democracy and just before leaving one of the us soldiers kicked something on the ground that he felt like was a false bottom and upon lifting it up discovered some sort of tunnel system underneath him and according to wikipedia he was about to throw a frag grenade to explode whatever tunnel system might be underneath when at that exact moment saddam hussein popped his goofy little head up and promptly surrendered not too quick before taking a rifle to the face resulting in this famous photo but surrendered nonetheless i thought saddam hussein was barack obama's middle name the bbc would promptly release a diagram of this spider hole that saddam hussein must have been staying in for the better part of the last two days and for some reason 18 years later twitter has decided this is the funniest thing that could have possibly come up i mean if you take a look at the diagram the dude wasn't working with a lot he had an air vent some sort of fan a place to rest his head i mean really the memes have been fantastical impossible to understand but fantastical what else should saddam hussein have in the spider hole i mean i wouldn't be able to stay down there with just a fan and an air vent and rubble covering the entrance exit i would at least need a green screen so i could keep doing this show you know if he's got a vent who's to say that he's not really sus you know what i mean no vending machines no anime girls what was my man doing i don't even recognize saddam hussein you know what i mean the only overseas militant group leader i acknowledge is osama bin lifting what few people know about saddam hussein is he actually grew up in brooklyn new york so i think of [ __ ] memers the operation to hunt down saddam hussein was titled operation red dawn which apparently is just like an old military movie the two sites where they wanted to thoroughly search to see if they could find saddam hussein were named wolverine1 and wolverine2 both of which were named after team wolverine in the red dawn movie which means at some point in the future they're going to make a movie about the capture of saddam hussein in which they have to talk about operation red dawn which is a movie that already exists in this universe prior to them capturing saddam hussein the only thing this operation is missing is someone turning into a pickle bro funniest [ __ ] i've ever seen saddam hussein more like i forgot my wallet who's paying cause i'm not i don't want to split the bill why did they make saddam hussein so red i have a very very very convoluted idea as to what's happening here i don't think anybody actually gives a [ __ ] about saddam hussein i know i don't i think the reason that this diagram is becoming so popular is because they painted saddam hussein completely red in an effort to promote the new action clifford the big red dog movie that's right emily elizabeth more like osama bin swaggan so kyle massey is facing charges due to having inappropriate contact with an underage girl don't know who kyle massey is of course you don't who the [ __ ] knows any actor by their real name except for tom cruise i guess you know him as corey from cory in the house and also that's so raven but let's be fair we're talking about cory in the house my man has been the face of so many memes ah it bugs me it bugs me thoroughly it's one thing to make it big in hollywood fine go dick around with underage girls we're expecting it at this point you're a terrible person but when you become the face of a meme when 4chan votes corey in the house the game will advance game to the highest possible score on game critic you don't get to just do stupid [ __ ] on the internet anymore okay you are the face of a community kyle what kyle massey learn your [ __ ] evidently kyle massey cory in the house has not been finding a ton of acting work lately surprise surprise arrested in ohio after some messages that he sent that were of course sexual in nature to an underage fan victim family member i don't even know anymore back in like 2017 what is happening is it weird that drake bell has been messaging underage girls yes of course is it equally weird that he randomly moved to mexico in order to become a latin music singer out of nowhere also weird right also weird you spend your whole childhood working on a tv show that speaks to kids just to get arrested in your mid-30s for speaking to kids poetic yes but gross kind of what is with nickelodeon child stars named drake growing up to make music and then in their mid-30s inappropriately messaging underage fans is shit's too consistent if you have kids and they have a buddy named drake just punch him dead in the mouth they might not have done anything yet but they will drake bell and corey in the house should start a podcast called behind bars once they're both arrested i i wouldn't listen to it actually so the dentist says to me we'll clean your teeth another day here's 200 bucks go show my niece a good time transition so bill cosby cosby's been released from prison it's like they need it's a second time they used it as evidence and now he's being released because they were like wait a second we already said we couldn't use this and this is the key evidence we're using the second time i hate that bill cosby situation has to be the oldest most boomer ass drug he could have possibly used what the [ __ ] is a quaalude how what is that a sex drug is that something people use yo i wanted supposed to be celebrating someone's sexuality this is the most sinister [ __ ] you could have put on a couch nobody believes you why is nobody believing me if the couch if you lose one of the pillows the couch just reads nobody believes you it why does it feel like this couch is gaslighting me twitter user by kia couch explains that the couch was designed with a poem in mind in fact a poem that he wrote when he was 15 trying to express the fact that he felt like his sexual identity was being erased by other people the full context of the poem is everybody loves boys or girls but when you change or to and nobody believes you and with context it makes a little more sense it's kind of cute even but the internet doesn't give you context you can't just say stuff on the internet that people can take out of context to make you look bad it's gonna happen every time and when it comes to stuff like people's sexuality you have to think of kids i'm thinking about kids all the time transitioning ayo new wojack just dropped you guys know wojacks everybody loves wojacks but where do they come from typically it's people making them for very specific use cases they get real mad about something and they gotta represent their frustration through a poorly drawn line figure in ms paint right but very rarely does somebody have the gall to just show up to a 4chan board and go yo i made a new wojack a user posted on 4chan they discovered a new wojack they made a new wojack hey let's incorporate it into the meme economy and they were promptly told to go kill themselves despite this broomjack lives there's a bunch of different examples i don't know if the community has accepted it as a new wojack or if people are just taking it and running with it to piss off everybody else who doesn't approve of the wojack but it's kind of a weird one i hate its identity the fact that it exists emits a true rage inside me that i can't even express and yet at the same time it's sort of peaceful he's got a mushroom for a head you know sometimes he's a buff chick sometimes like it it's like loss where you don't even need it nothing needs to make sense it just needs to be there you know just end the sentence with bottom text throw a wojack in there i hate it i hate it so much the ocean's on fire didn't think you'd hear that one today did you but the ocean is on fire due to some sort of oil leak somewhere in the gulf of mexico pacific ocean antarctic i don't know i don't do research for this [ __ ] the ocean's on fire now i've watched a few too many episodes of spongebob to actually believe that this is what's happening i don't think it's possible and yet the ocean's on fire here i am sorting my recycling doing my best not to fart too often wearing the same underwear nine days in a row to conserve electricity water and any other non-renewable resource i can and these [ __ ] guys are just setting the ocean on fire if you're in that situation are you allowed to take the cooked fish home like just honest question like you put out the fire everything's good right there's a couple steamed lobsters floating around can you take them home like they're just some something else is gonna eat it regardless right how do you put out water if the ocean's on fire what are you gonna do are you gonna dump water on top of it uh there's already water there genius are is a fire boat a thing like a fire truck is a fire boat a thing what is the purpose do they have water on board or do they just pump salt water out from under the boat i don't know how to stop the ocean
