hey what's up it's dixie dimillio back with the dixie dimillio early late night whatever show as you can see we're in a new setting um this is our new house but i don't live here but this is my parents new house i will continue doing the show here and we have the same chairs pretty much the same setup it's new it's different but still a little bit of the same we have a very special guest but i know you add the sound effect so we're good it wasn't awkward it was a little awkward just just a little bit but hey thanks for having me on the dixie early late afternoon night yeah show that's it yep um thanks for coming of course so i'm gonna ask you some questions later you on you can ask me some questions if you'd like okay so first we met a long time ago yeah at the first type house the original hype house um that's when i was new to social media i didn't really like i knew your name yeah didn't really know you too much but i did a video with you and did you watch it okay and we talked yeah and that video brought up a lot of controversy why because it came off the fact that i was being starved to post content i saw that wait what yeah wait who said that thomas thomas i remember that the way that's what i mean we were kind of just talking about this the way the internet and t pages edit things it sounded like oh like you can't make a tick-tock unless i i can't eat unless i make a tick tock exactly and then it came out and i was like i don't really know him should i be like tell him to change it yeah i saw that and i was like do i like should i hit her up like should i like i don't know i didn't know you that well and i was like i really hope she doesn't see this and is like why did he put that in the video because i don't edit my own videos so like when i watched it back it didn't like click i didn't like really see it but of course like the fans are gonna speculate everything so sorry about that i mean i don't care but it was just so funny because i was like oh that did not go the way i thought it was but the tick tock we made was pretty cool it was really good it was like the awkward and then you like renegade at the end and like hit your hands that was before i even knew how to like do the renegade really yeah it was big and then oh i'm a big dancer now that's cool yeah i see your tick tocks you start doing like dances getting out of your comfort zone and stuff yeah the only dance i know is like the either the corvette one because like i'm a really bad dancer like i don't know if you see me on your four you really you follow me so like i'm so stiff and i need lessons so like would you help me out i don't know how to dance the easy ones though like the you light me up inside like that like that's the only one i know yeah that's i know like parts of every dance because just because i watch you so much i don't even like learn them yeah it's just all my for you page so i'm like okay and like you're dating someone who's like the infamous dice roller like my goal is to meet noah beck because like i want to learn the dice roll i even mentioned in one of my videos i'm like guys how's my noah back dice roll yeah yeah and it's kind of embarrassing for me to not know how to do that well no you'll you'll get better as you're dating him for sure hopefully you started on youtube when did you start uh 2012. wow i'm an og so like why did you start so i actually started out with video games like do you game at all or no no so i used to play video games call of duty and uh everyone's dream as a kid playing video games was to join faze clan which is what i'm in right now and uh i literally played video games for at least like eight hours a day during school which my parents hated and nobody really thought that like gaming would turn out to what it is today so i obviously i believed in it so as you can see i have like a phase tattoo right here the face chain and like i'm all about it i'm like part owner now and after hours and hours and years of playing i finally joined the team that every kid wanted to join and then from then like today 2020 phase is like expanded not only gaming but like we're entertainers like we have rappers on the team like offset is a part of faze uh lil yachty it's crazy like thinking about that yeah and we have like basketball players on the team because everyone that games knows phase and there's like like a lot of you'd be surprised a lot of rappers and athletes play video games all the time so um it's pretty dope seeing that they're a part of my team now where did the name faze rug come from okay so phase is phase and then rug actually came from rugrats like that's why i call my fans rugrats my name in like 2011 2012 online was rugrat and then when i joined faze clan i shortened it to rug because i feel like if i did get bigger having the name rugrat would be an issue like copyright wise i feel like i wouldn't be able to drop merch and like stuff like that so i shortened it to rug not knowing i would get big so now like when i go out in public like when people are like rug rug it's like it's i'm used to it now but it's funny because like if people that don't know me they're like why is someone saying rug like a carpet like what that's actually a pretty cool name you like it yeah some people think it's just like boring but i think it's i think it like it's set like you can say at night like phase phase rug like if i was phase rug rat that would just be like too much i was actually gonna ask you about this like i've never been um on a paparazzi channel because like again i don't live in l.a so how does that feel is it like hectic is it like a bunch of flashes in your face like does it actually get annoying or okay well i have like this thing when like with strobe lights and flashing lights i get very nauseous and sick yeah you can't see when that first started i was like you guys need to stop like i'm gonna get like sick and now it's kind of that part is better but or the other day i went out to eat and i was leaving and this guy comes up i've never seen him before because it's usually all like the same group of people yeah this guy like fletcher right yeah fletcher love kevin love but this random guy he goes if you were on a drowning boat would you rather save your mom or no one back and i was like and then he kept asking those charlie or noah i was like i i i'm not answering yeah i mean obviously my family i i i'm not gonna answer that on camera it was so crazy scary he was so loud and he was like behind everyone and just yelling that i was like i don't know tomorrow which won't be tomorrow the time this video comes out monday no oh tomorrow is your birthday yeah happy early birthday i clap for myself again but yes i'm going to be turning 24. thanks guys did you ever think you'd be where you are by this age even when you started no not at all and like again i'm super super grateful and and blessed but i just feel like 24 is kind of old what do you think do you think 24 is like at that age where you're like i feel like 25 is the age okay so i have one more like youth year okay i'll enjoy it then oh i forgot to mention something i'm also a rapper like i'm more of like a pop star oh yeah yeah like i made a song and it you know was it good hit the it was in the top five billboard no i'm just kidding no but no just a funny story about that like me and my cameraman aka friend noah uh we went to a studio because we just needed to film a youtube video like oh you should we should try to make a song and we just like went in there for three hours and we came out we dropped the song and like people loved it but i thought it was like super cringy and wait i've never heard this it's called going live you should check it out is it like rap or pop like pop right yeah yeah and you're you're both on it he did the ad libs he said he was like skirt yeah cuz i said i just pulled up in that lambo and he's like skirt i didn't know i was actually gonna ask i was like have you ever done music because i feel like everyone does yeah something at some point literally once as a joke and then i haven't made anything since i think it's been a year since i dropped it and everyone begs me to make another song but it's just not for me but it is fun it's really fun when you're in the studio you feel i mean if you keep doing joke ones that could be really fun i mean that's what like larry does and then his also made like the billboards the diss track that was pretty dope all right i think that's all we have for
