The Definitive Assetto Corsa Drifting Guide & Logitech G920 Settings!

[Music] what's going on people welcome 27 works and today I have an updated 2018 final kind of definitive drifting guide setup video thing for a set of course on the PC basically I made a set of video for the wheel a long long time ago about three years ago now it's kind of outdated I've updated some things and made some changes since then and I thought it showed them off as well as if you were a bit swabs action I'm gonna do like a comprehensive kind of whole look at a set course and know that it's pretty much done and finished and they're moving on to a cc or so of course a competition competition whatever it is so basically I'll go over some websites and to settle for the wheel the cars and tracks a program programmer tool that you might want to look into server tips for getting minimal minimizing your lag in the servers and then just like bits and pieces like that so it'll all be time-stamped I'll do like a section a section B that contain in the description if you want to skip to a specific thing to say if you're only here for the wheel setup you can just skip that right now after this and then just yeah please leave a thumbs up so it's going for new here thanks for watching and goodbye [Music] okay so basically we're starting off with the fundamental idea that you have everything set up you haven't had any trouble so far just plugging everything in and setting everything up if you have the shifter if you bought the separate shifter for Eugene on 20 called your wheel to your desk or you said okay whatever it all is yeah so we're just basically presume now that you just need to get started you have everything set up so let's go from that basis if you've had any troubles open till this point I can only offer the usual kind of generic advice of choice block them back in Tokido back AOPA again what we're about to do here should potentially solve any problems so got your wheel set up what you wanna do is go over to Google Reno Logitech I'll dad this is the second take so you can see that I've already looked it up there any combination of Logitech c920 game software Logitech Gaming software LG su 920 any combination those should do so let's take GMAT 20 tech support under under the first result basically choose your poison which everyone is appropriate to you you can have a look at any updates or every thought that you want to look through obviously your version and then just download it the same as any other program that you installed just follow it true yes yes yes except except except as far as I know a Logitech character up to anything nefarious don't hang me if the air I'm just saying by and large from what I've seen it's it works fine so basically once it's all installed it should be in your Start menu so if we just scroll down to L where is it Logitech and it should be there so if it's not in your start right already just click it from there and that loped open it up and it should look like this mine looks my I've also got g9 20 our g502 so you produce Carmel so I've got that there as well go down the bottom left here you should see the picture of the actual wheel itself and obviously the icon for whatever you have if you don't have the pedal to view different pedals here obviously these won't show up if you have if you haven't got the the separate shifter they won't show over there obviously but basically I've got them all so if you have this similar setup that's what it should look like so yeah basically that's it so now you've got it all installed in theory now you're all good to go you've got the drivers that you need you got to program everything should be working you can make sure everything is up to date just by clicking the little wheel icon down there clicking on your thing and then pressing R GTG no.20 pick on your wheel and press an update mine was up to date I'll check the obviously in the last take as well just to be sure but if you want to check out any d settings here no real reason table basically that's what I'm working with the important bits are the wheel itself if you click on this you see the moonshinin the default profile from what we can see works perfectly in older versions of set of course it was kind of different issues you'd have different you'd have to have different presets and like kind of different keys bound everything it seems to work fine now with the other product with the program that are gonna talk about layer basically the essential setup is that everything should just be default by just whatever it comes out of the box and the wheel here to 70 hours playing for is the last night so that's why t1 900 degrees for a set of course a enable center and spring off and then obviously whatever quiz itself that doesn't matter so you just want any center in spring force in games and the sensitivity 50% for a nice smooth even not too fast not too slow rotation of the wheel basically the essentials don't need to touch anything else that's you set up there with the Logitech games offer so that's the wheel itself let's move on to the next bit [Music] okay so in Chapter two we are gonna have a look at the most essential part to this whole video it's absolutely crucial not note that the video is gonna make any sense or you'll hardly be able to follow along is get a set of course a Content Manager so I'm gonna again return to our trusty Google AC we'll do AC Content Manager there you go you see already look at it top result here wouldn't be bothering with anything else you just you never know both top result set of course at our club slash contact manager and here's the landing page basically it's just a way of launching the game but it's got like infinite possibilities compared to the actual base game the actual menu system of the of the actual course in game is pretty pretty poor like there's not a whole lot of options or customers that customization and she's not very pleasant place to be in my opinion so Content Manager is an absolute absolutely essential everybody that knows about and that's gotten it just agrees it's absolutely fantastic so you can find us some information on the page here if you want but basically scroll down to the very end and you'll see download content manager content light version I would personally say I just 100% have to give back in here it's worked whatever it meant a transfer an amount of money so you can transfer like two quid three quid I remember I think I might sent them like three or at the time so much that I think I'm waiving the minimum but anyway the money and basically yeah you'll get the full version the live version has some restrictions yeah so you can see there that there's like light version has restricted access to new features such as online mode or contentment amount I think what that means is it's not that you can't play online it's just like you might not have as many options and that kind of thing is as far as customization of your online experience may be well basically yeah just if you can afford that obviously please do grab this support is it's a fantastic program it's been a lifesaver a game-changer it said of course it for example the base game launcher doesn't actually load up the game you cannot play a set of course if you've got more than I think it's like 550 cap mods eater care mods or mods in general but basically I have like six hundred sixty seven hundred miles or so but essentially the base game if oysters to try and launch a set of course a true steam it will not load the game gets stuck in populating favorites and it just doesn't load content manager is literally essential with a lot of are if you want to own a lot of mods basically so yeah you download it same thing again what an exe download it you're teeing might pop up saying it's dodgy trust me interest the community it's fine download it all install it all and then again you can get rid of Google I have my here that's basically it once it's all it's well yeah obviously yours won't be there same thing again it should be in the Start menu or Content Manager yeah so the owner C and Content Manager or you can find in wherever you download it and install it alright so now you have it installed everything's all done you're good to go you launch the program from wherever it may be and for me I just pinned it to my Start program but if not it should be under C for Content Manager or wherever you installed it you can go there manually and load it up essentially so what you're looking at here is basically all you'll need but first of all we're gonna obviously go into the settings and have a look at just the general settings of the use for Content Manager you can essentially just copy down what I have here I'm not gonna go through each one and what they do and more it's important appearances obviously personal content again you can go through and pause the video anywhere here cause some showroom drive generic mods again I don't even part mostly stuff on a day to day basis but just in case there's something that I did change back when I first got it and oh yeah I forgot maybe just something that's just not spring at the top of my mind that I did change and you can have a look through here in just copy down and you'll have the same experience that I'm having which is fine again these plugins you don't need but if you're if you have a specific thing where you're with that you need to do within the program once you've learnt it this is an easy way to install so plug in such a might want quick switches I personally again this is like basically quick things that you can do and if you press right click they show up here I personally always have hide arms because I play in VR and I don't like seeing like a lot of the animations for arms and mods and that kind of thing and great when you're turning the wheel so I personally just hide them but again that's a personal thing so you can go to and mess with em as you like replays again we played quality front like for me record my videos that contain my montages I like to have maximum quality maximum size but again personal preference sharing and web so they're the basic pause those as I said and got you so again same idea here I don't ever mess with these these are just apps these are like mods that you can install like so Jimmy or sidekick which are kind of essential things ffp clip I'll be gone through those later around in the video put it and you got your video settings obviously again highly personal highly dependent on what your system is what your what you're running essentially for me obviously I play on the oculus rift these are the settings that I use if you also play in the oculus rift and happen to have an invidious tricks at 970 and 35 70 K overclocked if you have that set up these should work well for you so then again view and you are just copy these down if you if you want to just get a decent starting point is one gone for it audio obviously yours will very depend on what's put sentence that you use controls them and we will do that again when we will come back to this at the end where we wouldn't were setting up the wheel to actually get going yeah miscellaneous system information chase camera again not massive muscle problem you can change the cake chase camera sentence if you wanted damage display or if you want you're down to spare you can change your sentence to that one presets promote and then apps it's just like if you want to actually get into the I think it's if you want to get into I did a program and aspect of the apps I think it is so other important sentence or other important tabs are your content tabs basically cars trucks showrooms miscellaneous mods tools much up basically these are your where you're gonna be if you're gonna be installing mods or like updating previews and that kind of thing you'll be you'll be looking through these menus here the only important bits to know really are that you can search appear in this box you can press this button down here so say if I have okay so I do actually this is a good example so the portion only one its pointer if I want to click on that for some reason you can press this little button down here and I bring you straight to that care so that's kind of handy yeah basically delete Karin's button down here cm showroom or bring it up into like a showing where you can look at it and take screenshots here's your skin selection appear you have looks your skins yeah that's basically it's kind of straightforward if you want to edit any information this is all edible editable and savable by pressing Save button down there once you make a change yeah you get to kind of gist is just scratching with Sony easily and this is where you keep all the cards as you can see here six hundred ninety seven carats every now and again I do Clean Sweep where I get rid of a lot of the cars that I no good or kind of date order like that like some like rx-7 they think might be windows for example same way with the tracks Annie you can fix any problems like these here these these not showing up the specific one has a problem with that but you can press up they open there's basically nothing that you can't do in this in this program essentially like you can go in you can update like if your track doesn't have an outline like this as I said you press update an outline you can change the background picture make your background pictures custom one of the things that I'd like to do is I like to have uniformity you can see here that not pretty much unless it kind of messes me by over here and like to show me you can see that all my carrots have the same preview no matter where they came from that's basically painstakingly over time going into each care and press and update previews presets and Cunha's that's essentially the gist of that that's what's why all my things are the exact same everybody's different but just if you were if you like the uniformity of haven't it be kind of like that Lamborghini for example isn't so I'd have to I can show you for example now reset killing us and then it'll just cycle true update them and bring it into line with the rest of the with the rest of the cash previews essentially so that's just something I like to do from my kind of OCD having everything the same you can see now it's if it's in bear so then your media is your screenshots and your replays obviously it also saves replays you can keep them afterwards so yeah after your last game it keeps your it also says you replay and you can choose to keep it or delete it off see down here or play it or your screenshots you can you can fiction view them obviously then you have your results in your lap times now I don't really mess it in too much so I don't worry about those so we come back to the drive tab here and basically this is where you'll set up if you're just still drifting offline if you're just playing by yourself and you want to just do laps and up snaps you want practice for penalties off start from the pits ballast and restrictor at zero ideal conditions I guess or you can do real conditions I don't match up your time and everything like that - what - your real like system settings which is pretty cool your window sentence like put ideal conditions if you should want a maximum grip lock or anything which you can mess around with that has specific controls I used to use but it seems like to be not necessary anymore it seems to adjust them on the Caracara basis now itself which is handy an entire practice you want yes you just want to Torres fully warm as soon as you start up the settings your camera off stop yet your assists so pro is no cysts on and you can click this little tab here to make sure that everything is correct so for drifting you don't talk like shifting you don't all bleep you don't tell them at a clutch or idea line you don't ABS well you could I guess in here if you want to do but obviously want traction control off stability control off we can't put damage 0 if you don't want to deal with that slipstream perfect even warm tire where zero fuel consumption 0 and basically a you can say that preset is Pro or whatever like that and then that would be your yeah you're setting so you know no no traction control essentially then you've got your presets here you can save you can select create as preset here like that's drifts and it lacked but the only problem titties is that it saved a specific care and tracker which they wouldn't do that I wish they just saved a sentence and not to count track but it's also kind of handy if you want to have specific settings where it's like oh I feel like driving way s15 on mayhem today that's an ending see all these things that pop up here not really super important but then again you got to it you've got hot lap time Tech race track day weekend drift if maybe it has maybe has a point smaller so with that I'm not entirely sure yeah you can see that that's the general gist of it and if you want to race you just set up your carousel up your track and press go and then you're good to go essentially yeah that's basically the gist the content manager I'm gonna go on to notice chapter 3 which will be your wheel settings basically the G 920 wheel sentence for assetto corsa [Music] all right here we are in the control section of Content Manager it's more or less the same boy believe in the actual game itself but obviously will presume that you've downloaded content manager and that's that that's what you're using so basically starting over after right you just wanna make sure everything is recognized so your Logitech G 9 20 with all the buttons you can move the access steer the wheel change the gear but it gives in press the pedal it's just make sure everything's calibrated if not again we're gonna go to everything so don't worry about it I've got my xbox one controller plugged in as well so that's that and then the Logitech extreme pretty extreme 3d pro site which is obviously my handbrake which is on the floor so I can't pull that check that but it's actually straightforward you basically can I don't know where can you do built-in presets yeah yeah so you want to start off with built-in presets and then go to Logitech to you know 20 with the shifter that's a basic starting point so do that for us get that out of the way and then once that's all done you should just basically click on whichever corresponding one which one so for example the throttle gas pedal press it wait for input push the pedal you want to press inverts I love it's a specific thing with Logitech wheels I don't know why it is but in basically just the software or the way to programmed they're always by default not inverted and that means the throttle as always all is always pressed for some reason so you just wanna invert the throttle the brakes and the clutch and not the steer and obviously that's fine and then the settings in game you want to be nine hundred agrees obviously for for nine hundred gamma and scale 100 and r1 and 100 again all of these just copied into the same settings down but again if they're not for every reason max just trottle trottle brakes press the brake clutch coach and then if you have a separate hounds brake or if you do like pick up one of those logitech things like avi bait they're like 20 euro I highly advise it it's really it's super useful capacity I just pull the direction that you want on that one now did logitech extreme 3d pro specifically can be a bit awkward so just you might have some issues with that but I'll go into that Alice at another stage basically yeah once you've done all that you should be good to go as far as the buttons go go over to the buttons next gear obviously shift up right paddle previous care left paddle and then your hate shifter check that obviously if you have them two three and then so forth so on so forth and then gear obviously you push downs they can pull it to the bottom right that's basically if you want then the next sentence here you can see that I don't really use any of these too often at turbo you can do just with the keyboard by pressing zero so when you mess with that what else we have gestures don't worry about and UK again if you're doing like super serious Formula One stuff for your balance in your mg UK and a lot crap probably sign these well for the purposes of drifting and with the buttons allowance that we have on a genome 20 I just don't bother with but then miscellaneous you can see I've got button B which I think yeah it's just be on the G mine 20 and then DRS is wide that's just me I learned that from the Formula One games a couple years ago so that's how I like it and then view glanced left is I think LSB on the left left shoulder be on the G 920 and look really obviously or SP and then glanced back is yeah just Lucci just a button and then change camera is put an eight which is your select button or what do they call it your menu button maybe the left the left middle button essentially air on the g 927 over to second order system sorry you have pause race I just have that set to the start button obviously then these are all I think these might be default but if not again you can just control the necks or XYZ for example yeah don't worry about those overlay lay it all these things age companies down again not massive issue but here's the interesting one so the force feedback this is personal this is just the one that at the time I settled on it seemed to feel the best for me at the time and it still has never I've never found an issue with it personally but basically just as a starting point see how you like it start here I cannot really go you too much but you kind of want to do what I have here to start off with you want soft lock because that means basically if I were to phrase it like if you're in a Formula One car and it's only got 270 degrees a turning angle or whatever it may be it does that like within the game you don't have to set any mess with your settings in the logitech profiler or the logitech gaming software it just does it itself if the car has 900 degrees as a drift car it just has your arm I could cut your own countries it's fine enhance the understeer effect I've never again just like couldn't give you the reason it's been too long now but that's that's that center boost gain yet post-processing you can do that enable FP FB post processing so here's something basically that I discovered after making my video the original video on 2g 920 sentence this LUT thing it's there's a word for it I cannot remember like for life me now but basically LUT is like it's like cut at the power curve you can see there that goes along and there's basically a website if we once again go back to our trusty Google that you can what is it settle so on race Department's here you can see LUT generator for AC I'm not gonna go into that that's its own hold separating just follow the instructions one wheel check takes it to a link to this download here again that would be included when I leave the link in description space you follow what you do it's fairly straightforward it's basically it generates a file that's like the power curve for your specific wheel obviously in this case RG 920 and as you can see it basically just makes it a smooth and natural as possible will do any kind of like extra extra stuff coming into the mix basically and I don't know how to explain it better than that unfortunately but just again the link abuse inscription just do that once it's you followed all the instructions there you'll have Molly lut gaya lut crazy one I think it's just yeah it's just a crazy example and when you turn the we do you feel it like feels super bizarre but yeah that's basically yeah that's that's that's the main gist of the big biggest change was I noticed a big difference with the LUT so that's that's the main one so experimental I wouldn't wouldn't go mess with obviously experimental so keep away from them okay so next up is your preset saving your presets not counting so you can save a priest you can once you've done all this now you can save this preset so what you do is obviously go in save your preset give it a name I named mine obviously Jean on 20 mister Titan II break in this case for when I made it obviously I was using the mister Titan mods the Kara mods a lot so that's just I named after that because that's what I was using it in the most all day you just name anything gene on xx drift or something that basically the difference is between the two in a break versus regular one if you except for our CD changer these were different sentence that I was using back then put the after I got the ebrake just two different ways to do if you if you buy a logitech or a flight stick or if you buy the actual improper ebrake thing you can just use your axis here to assign to the handbrake which is obviously your axis on your device if you don't have it all so ever what you can do is go into the buttons and then where's the previous gear and execute you just clear those off and then somewhere around here is the handbrake there was important to be able to specifically press the handbrake which is escaping me now but either way you get the gist there where wherever it may be it's it's in there somewhere I'm just I'm not gonna spend ages looking for now and put there's a button that you can press to set to set the handbrake basically to the paddles which is obviously the next best thing so you can change with the gears and you're obviously your shifter and then for the putt for a pond ebrake obviously pushing the button is an idea when you're using 900 degrees so to be able to have the handbrake which is kind of big and it goes around the back of the wheel or there pedal sorry which go big goes are in the back of the wheel it's easily accessible for the most part and with fiddling and usage of the logitech gaming software like set and key wine in there you can actually get both them to work at once I never really got it to stick but I do believe it's possible so that's basic just the two different options ebrake you can set your e break to obviously the ham break as I said the Logitech or just setting it to your paddles whichever is the most appropriate for you just save it as a preset and then you're pretty much done that is the current sentence that's the current usage that I have gone on keyboards the feedback rate everything it down okay they're not perfect - probably like - again they've probably been updated since then but I play set of course all the time all different carriers all different tracks and they it just feels great to me so I don't I don't really worry about too much and that's that is basically that so we move on to the next section [Music] all right so now that everything is good to go obviously we haven't tested anything yet but in theory everything is set up and you're good to go you got to start up the game you're gonna want some content because obviously if you open a Content Manager you have obviously your kunos official content here as you can denote Boyd a little think what is a Catholic open its hind legs or whatever oh yeah basically that's that's and then the different like Martin House has halved around like logos stuff it up basically you can as well another feature is you can search by kunis I think know what we do you do making me look stupid yeah this is it when you're selecting the car you can do it by brands countries categories DLC like if it's a DLC pack car whatever so that's pretty handy oh yeah so basically you've got your stuff you've got a great fantastic default content but for drifting you probably want mods you probably gonna want to look into some mods so websites that I would advise essentially if we do the same thing go back open up google you can see I've got to wear my bookmark here always pretty much a set of course the driftin pro and AC carries which is on race department so a sea drifting pro was kind of the gold standard I don't know if people just aren't uploading as much anymore or they like keeping super up-to-date with the website but as you can see here it's actually fantastically done I'll just open them all up carrots packs tracks toys tools who knows haven't checked the tool section one which is anything new but as you see their featured items newly added carries newly added maps there's a bunch of content on here essentially you can go through and you can pick and choose any which care that you like or you can get them as obviously chiropractic care packs so the most kind of common one that you'll see on most servers at the moment are the DTP mr. Titan mod drift workshop or DW or whoever they go by and maybe DVD see I think it a V DC competitive competition care I think they have the full pack yeah virtual trip championships so you can see there there's also like guerrilla mods TNT that's an older one camicazi just loads of options here basically you can go true again the descriptions will be in the link and or TM mod pack actually is in familiar to me so 81 Kara's according to that so I'll have to look into that and we're off time but yeah basically that's that same thing with tracks you've got a lower different tracks ABC track pack which somebody's obviously got it together all different abusive layouts that are available I'm pretty sure they all narrow now except for maybe a school stage there may be one I think it's just the school stage that's missing or skills circuit it's missing but the Ebisu that should that should no no of em as well as like little goofy joki tracks like yo she's like Mario people rip carrots Mario track or people have ripped racks from Mario Kart ABC toki 2.1 yeah so just cool cool stuff like lo two different options so that's that's another great one fret and you go to tar as you can download specific tires there's no great selection here but pretty much all you really do need is the DMF @d spectra and basically that's a case of this guitar is its own separate thing that i won't get into right now but again the cars and the tools so track cycle for your server the night time winner mod which I won't get into the in this video but that's a pretty cool thing yet actually you can get nighttime mods for this game because it's not in the game by default or for an e-book yes that's that's a sea drifting product um again links in description and then just the kind of gold standard for race for cars is race department which is oil Clare is the best site for mods now it's not great for drift cars necessarily you get loads of great race cars and street cars and track cars now let it's brilliant for that but the race track selection isn't great those have plenty of for looking see here nine pages worth of tracks like the drift tracks they also have sound mods skins for cars career mode mods absence will be back there basically the main to delight focus on but like again a simple search of the set o course kara mods couple of weird sites that you want to keep away from like there's a Facebook carousel karma cameras home Facebook they always redirect you to the positive file links which I just think is disgraceful I think it's really stupid it's a terrible service very slow but let them do them there's also set up court database or set of course a database but I've always found that their quality is not the best you can download a character that may be like highly rated or whatever but it's still not particularly high quality to the poor quality modeling as far as the tree treaty model goes usually it's what the problem is or the physics just might not been updated and but yeah basically that would be that VK that that's not too bad the settle drive is a more recent one that only came across recently boy it's it sorry I don't really know how to use it's a very confusing layout so I wouldn't really go too deep into that instead I don't know enough to speak on it but yeah they remain once there was what was it a set of course Island on the week's website like create your own website Wix whatever Sheryl Crow salon was brilliant again for race cars mostly but that got pulled down the key apparently use upload mods and permission or something so that's not ideal the two basic ones that you need for drifting are Daphne AC drift and pro and then erased apparently maybe for tracks essentially drift and pro is your one-stop shop for drifts off boy if you just want some other options they're the ones I recommend and in the case of the Facebook page the ones that like don't air but there is loads of random private groups on Facebook that you can join where the customer tomorrow has an interest and released new stuff publicly and you can only get it by joining the mods requesting or by joining the group so you can you touch it where you request to get an invite essentially both you know that's that is that basically that's that that's one way of getting private Mott spacing so that's that and okay so what I'm going to do next is recommend some apps so if you go to set of course apps there's all kind of once our handy does the again like the likes of the Illinois and LED packet or is not the ones that you need for drifting is the main one is just basically ffb click force-feedback clip so if we just google that take me straight to page rather than searching for it for you back basically measures your steering wheel like when you first load up the game you open up the app on top corner and it measures your steering wheels power and it kind of adjusted the gain and accounting on the fly until it finds a nice little sweet spot and then it leaves at that and that's for that care for that mod or whatever for those toys or whatever for your wheel it's the it will give you the best feel basically interiors how it works and you can see there how do I use it you just download it login to download and see there it's basically you just you sense you just turn it on put it into your tink it's automatic mode set it to just if there's an option where you can have it to be like dynamic but you just want to unnormal turn it on normal mode and then just the you go to go yeah we didn't have like 10-15 seconds or even you've got your sense it's brilliant so that's force feedback clip that's the first one and now I will just mention one quickly because while I do use V York there is a very handy tool for when your side words and it is real head motion now again it takes a bit of work to put together and that's not to point this video so I'm not gonna show you how to get all set up but essentially following instructions not the best most appealing website visually but it's like very straightforward to put together download a program called real or free play and then basically yeah just follow all these instructions again all the links will be in the description and yeah it basically what it does is you can set up to have the camera turn in sync with your wheel so as you enter corner put your handbrake and your wheel chairs to countersteer they look your camera basically in that direction which is great obviously for drifting because it's not ideal when you pull a ham break up and your side words and you can't see where you're going because you're looking directly straight with a copy obviously I don't have that problem of your being able to literally physically look but if this was a lifesaver before I got maybe your headset basically I like to really start off a biological fact yet that's basic that real head motion is pretty much essential if you're gonna be drifting the set of course you can see their installation in a set of course it shows you have to do it does the changelog but that's pretty much an essential for me I'll get that one so for Seebeck tip and real head motion and then I think there's one more that I use often enough so I take a sandy just for racing but I've never seen my drift so that's basically shows you your gear changes when you should get changed gears your lap theyíre your revs and all that kind of thing your speed and also oh yeah that's not like ideal for that's not much that's not required basically for now so that's that that's the websites that you need to get some mods that is the mod the apps that I recommend basically the mod packs as I said that I'd recommend the mods themselves are the DTP cars the trending up top my head now got the carrots are pretty good some were pretty decent somewhere a great flight you quickly if you see any more just loads of just individual mods they all this is which one is my favourite was gone the tree 50 said folks that's probably the best feeling carrot I'll have played in this game just burn on it is part of the formula d packs or formula drift pack get grabbed out absolutely Chris Forsberg at US embassies in there as well Chris tops Bruce's old carrot as well it believes in their the STC carrots they're pretty much a standard that they're basically like the gold standard for servers and they're not the best cars in the world I've made my own custom variations of them here so does the SP mod as I mentioned earlier the TNT stove touge a workshop TW they've got some good stuff man in the drift workshop they're the main ones there's obviously loads of different individual unique hairs that I picked up here along the way from groups and whatever book they be the main ones you said you'd be said basically good to go with those as I said of 697 cars or could really be onto and while even at 218 tracks I don't know if that's just tracks or track variants and everything it's a poor yeah there you go you can see there's a lot of good ones all the Japanese tracks that you ever wanted may Han Ebisu Tsukuba Boise West the one that was closed down a couple years ago as well the great one that's one of the first ones I started on its names escape me now but like maze and the awesomes are all great the formula beard formerly drift long beach section is there it's very good fun deceivingly tight for his corner it's amazing how different it looks in real life as opposed to the game but you had the hoonigan garages and new ones came out recently yeah they're basically that stared so no just recommendations off the top my head so with that said we will move on to the next stage [Music] [Music] alright so in the final part we're going to put all of this theory into practice we're going to select the car selected track set up a practice session and then get going basically so first things first you always want to check your settings you make sure everything's right if you mess open some of your some on your parts isn't connected when you're setting or your wheel or your handbrake or whatever isn't connected and the game will launch and you won't be able control anything you'll just be dead so you just want to make dos don't be sure that everything is properly setup so I've got controls axis press your pedals and as you can see there for whatever reason they are not selected so I'm just gonna reload the program and then exactly this is exactly why we do it just to make sure every single time so I know for a fact that regardless I do one nine hundred degrees because it's a set of course here alright just have to fix some issues there so let's all should be working so trottle brakes clutch handbrake gears wheel we are not recognized let's go on fix that ok steering wheel okay there we go for some reason they were all assigned to my handbrake for some strange reason that is a particular issue with this handbrake I don't know what that is but hey whenever ok so that's all set up so you want to go back to into your video and to make sure like for me personally I'm gonna do this video record and it just flat on the monitor so I'm gonna change it from my V or presets to my monitor preset again the brilliant thing about soake or about Content Manager is being able to save all your presets so as opposed to like on the V or you can see that I've got them MSAA only on four times it's the render mode oculus rift pros process and effects is disabled here it's enabled maximum still 4x but I want to say single screen I'd probably crank it to 8 X if I wanted to but not super worried about that so we head back over to drive it started to pick a car for the sake of how using the carriages will actually be able to use and get some help out of I am going to select the Formula Drift pack first care as I said it's one of my favorite cars it's easily accessible you can find it online I just find out handles brilliantly and I can give you a look at my tune and that kind of thing so you can just see how it how it goes so same thing you press this little button here you're true it takes a second for them to load if you've got a lock by the way so don't worry about that if the only a few show up immediately but again I'm gonna just leave it on may hand cuz that's just what I've been feeling lately and run practice as I said start from the pits all of these settings ideal conditions and what we went over there with the pro tire blankets are they all there bits and bobs turned off and then it's pretty much as simple as just pressing go so hopefully this will allow loop and we'll just load up the game for me we can get started and I'll meet you over there when the game loads up right so we've loaded up in game obviously my hand is the cameras are glitched or whatever but fundamentally we are in the game now it should be all set up and good to go I'm gonna select and basically I'm gonna show you my chin but I'm not gonna walk you to tuning I'm just gonna show you how this kind of many works really quickly because it's very self-explanatory all your tracks here will have a folder I personally just always put them in generic because I just like to have them available for all tracks you haven't gone to a specific one I can just free scroll all the way to the top and selects my tune so select it load and then I sit imagine the same thing when you want to save them you just do all your bits and bobs your tune enter in a name and press save and then if you want to if you make any changes Alaska to overeat just press save again and I'll do that so here's a look at my tune for this car again I'm not gonna walk to TuneIn I am not by any means the best.you owner in any games let alone a set of course a particularly set of course I would imagine but I can keep up with cars and like anything online but yeah you see your competition 28 24 28 front tire pressures 24 in the rear fuel I have it overloaded I don't know why that's the case but if you like Chacon does matter dad's a bit wait and it actually does affect how long you can drift for it absolutely doesn't need to be maxed out at 72 both that's for whatever reason what I have it set up turbo 100% alignment why is the alignment so far like that isn't right I'm not going to show you how to tune but I'm gonna fix this because this obviously glued over some stage the other bits and bobs are Roybal they're my camber angles are certainly not I like - 2.5 in the front I - one in the rear so as a general rule and then again bump and stiffness I just left addicted I think they may even be default I just didn't touch those I just don't know nothing about said of course tuning to be honest they were to be gone messing with those and then height and we rate in a boa or anti-roll bars not counting you just copy them as they are and if it stops at pits truth hit stop strategy even our kind of personal preference or whatever not really important what we're doing here so just gonna override that with the angles with the camera you know and then as you can see we are in game now so on the right hand side we have our like apps and acquainting I'm not gonna watch your game again because it's just what we need for drifting but you just want you do want to make sure that your sidekick app is open so if you go to the left hand side I believe it is this one err not psychic sorry force-feedback lip so force you've a clip just thicker than top left just keep it away and you'll see as we start driving and doing bits okay so strange for some reason it had my year sentence all bound to the flight stick which is just beyond me but I fixed I went out and just fixed it their journey edit so hopefully this time here we go we're moving so I'm gonna pull it outside the car and just lower the volume a bit and basically yeah so now we're out on track make sure nobody's going no I am probably gonna be terrible because on one hand I'm concentrating on talking and doing commentary on the other hand I'm so used to drift in a V or now like drifting on the screen or pancake modestly Carly is there something that's gotten it's not exactly the way that I do things nowadays so yeah you can see I was working on the old project Academy yeah paint job at one stage but basically yeah so that's all it is you get in tune your carrot and then is just solid practice so again I'm probably not gonna do it here but it's literally as I was saying in the comment reply to somebody think soon you could have to comment on YouTube video that I made recently and or an older one even it's all just practice like particularly what Mahon you just have to keep trolling it in wrong you just keep having to hit the wall keep having a spin-out keep having to go into the tyres at the end at the fair so it's going straight trail that's just what you have to do until you get good essentially that's all I did just arrows and arrows and arrows like probably the first 20-30 errors easily of drifting in this game was just me spent going backwards into walls until I figured out all this stuff that about to be showing you in this video which was which was all the like the the lut and everything keep it no and yeah all those little bits and bobs that we pick up along the way definitely help they'll obviously more carrot like better carrots are quality Kara's v10 tars not gonna think um they'll help the whole bunch and the higher quality mods and that kind of thing just helped a whole lot in there in just making it easier and getting it getting a better understanding of how to parish drive now well there as you can see here okay if I'm not in VR on terrible if I ever had entered in on VR battle I would not do well can keep the revs up and bring in around town oh it's weird how different it is when you're looking at the screen that's post actually being in the car good am yeah that's basically the long and short that's that's the guide in a nutshell I've shown you everything that you need to know and you know like if it's not this isn't a tutorial adrift and specifically like you there's not much to it you pull the handbrake torch at the same time and just counter this tear and hopefully do better than I just hit like that was a totally intentional 360 obviously and oh yeah just practice practice practice is the main thing but a I've hoped that I've given you a good starting point a good kind of face to go off with the carers at the very least if not the rest of the ideas and then obviously the importance of Content Manager and just how how essential it is especially as I said if you gonna have a lot of mods it's a pretty much crucial it's literally essential like the games won't warm whatever as I said yeah I'm trying to call it quits there pretty much I really do hope you found it useful I know it was a long calendar on video but hope the ability to be able to skip to new
