boloney's get here save some for me by abraham's big what are those nonfat lapkus they're better for your arteries pop less oil less oil Hanukkah is all about the oil the Hanukkah story uh it's kind of complicated I'll try and give you the simple version way back in olden times the Greeks started speaks from today ho right old-timey Greeks with togas and stuff they didn't like you and Jewish people did Jewish stuff hey you guys stop being Jewish they even took over the Jewish temple for themselves Oh tiny bullies with us even though they had white fewer people a group called the Maccabees she's the Greeks away it was a miracle when the Maccabees cleaned up the temple they only had enough oil to keep the eternal flame burning from one day but the oil burned for eight days yeah the miracle of the oil that's what Hanukkah celebrates oh it's just like the big book says a great miracle happened there whoa that's so awesome I'm learning tons of stuff about Hanukkah bad really well maybe I'm a better teacher than I thought hey check these out these are dreidels they're like tops with four sides if it lands on gimel you take all the gelt hey means take half the pile on Shin you put a piece in and none means do nothing hey those symbols are all part of methyl Hashem now let's get ready to dreidel we both got none so like basically nothing happens yeah it's no video game but it should be [Music] that was super cool thanks Ben for teaching me so much Wow I don't more about Hanukkah than I thought it's another miracle you really outdid yourself buddy let's all celebrate together huh Joanie how would you like to help light the candles on the menorah we light one for each night the oil in the ancient temple burn that's right and the light grows brighter each night pushing away that darkness probably dad's epic Christmas light display oh yeah if we had a giant menorah the whole street would see what a great Hanukkah celebration looks like sounds good to me
