The Bugatti Chiron has been stripped!

hey guys how's it going and welcome to another video and these to some of my old viewers is some seriously nostalgic settings because if you have been following me from the very start you will know that this park and this location is iconic for the lord alim channel this is where i reviewed some of my cars many many years ago when i was only 17 18 years old if you want to check out some of those settings today i have my cameraman's bmw here because my car is actually got the engine management light on so uh i'm gonna be that's a skoda by the way not the bugatti so we're going to uh get that checked out and today we are heading over to onyx automotive where what can i end it [Music] right sorry for that interruption so today we're going to be heading over to onix automotive where the guys are going to be looking after my bugatti it's just come off the lannister job where it was wrapped in chrome blue all the wrap has been taken off by yanomay's you can check out janomizer's youtube channel by clicking the card just here where he strips the car and now it's over at onyx automotive where they will be detailing the car it's back in its factory specifications of black with red interior and we will finally be ppf'ing the car which means that i can do many motorway miles without stone chips let's go so guys we have arrived at onyx automotive behind me is their unit inside is my bugatti chiron and i cannot wait to see it back in black we've made a lot of content with it in chrome blue it's been so much fun having it in chrome blue but i was uh pretty excited to get it back to factory black and inside the guys over at onyx automotive are detailing the car and preparing it for ppf ppf is so important for the car it especially for the specification that i've gone for we'll talk more about that shortly um let's head on inside and see what they're getting up to so guys we are now in the onyx automotive workshop and i can see my bugatti there but this is a bit of a surprise what is this doing here my lamborghini aventador svj i forgot that i left it here since the bugatti has arrived i've completely forgot about my other toys uh but yes the lamborghini aventador svj one of one viola ashrafer a color named after my mother is being looked after here at onyx automotive and what are we doing with this car well we're doing a ppf top up a ppf top up means that maybe some paint protection film was damaged what is paint protection film you guys have probably heard about this quite a lot it's like a secondary skin for yours paint um it stops the car from getting swell mark sorry stops the paint work getting swirl marks scratches and you know stone chips and minor damages my cars get used a lot so this is very important also the colour choices and the specifications i go for are quite expensive and quite bold so i want to be protecting my uh investment shall we say uh so uh this car i think it's up for some ppf top up down the sides there's some ppf peeling uh or scratch some damage so they're just going to be changing that again no touching the paintwork you'll probably get a maintenance detail so it'll be looking at its best can you believe that this car is nearly done 20 000 miles that's a lot of miles in the lamborghini svj seeing as i haven't had it for very long but again she looks absolutely stunning now the bugatti what are the guys doing to the bugatti so we're not going to disturb them just yet um they are detailing the car so we are preparing the car's base we are preparing the paintwork of the car to be at its best that it can ever look at and then after that they will apply the second skin which is the ppf film and uh yeah the car is going to be looking beautiful as ever it's going to be looking clean the lines are going to be on show in the best possible form it's going to have high gloss factor and i can use it every day like i want to and if you guys have probably been asking i mean why have you been transporting the bugatti why haven't you been driving on the motorways because vinyl wrap hasn't got the thickness of what paint protection has so you can still catch stone chips so i don't want to be traveling on the motorway catching stone chips on my three million pound bugatti do i so let's head on inside and see what the boys are up to [Music] wow so i've been uh seeing this car in chrome blue every single day for the last 10 days and i've been living with it in london creating some awesome content um with some pretty cool people and uh the car has done mad numbers online it's gone completely viral 40 million impressions uh we got out of this car in chrome blue so uh yeah right now getting it back to uh black obviously i don't know if you guys remember the specification we made a few videos on it this is actually masking tape before anybody thinks i've wrapped the c in blue even though it looks quite nice doesn't it i think so um but yeah they mask off the whole car the reason for masking it is because [Music] they don't want to get all the seals all the polish on the seal so masking is very very important here we have the car paintwork being prepared so they will just sand away very lightly at the lacquer of the car um making sure that the surface is as smooth no orange fuel in perfect condition just like the way it left the factory so yeah excited to see how the boards get on and finally i can start using the car more regularly and more motorway runs [Music] so i've been sat here for about a good 10 15 minutes just looking at every panel and just trying to find some imperfections some problems in it and there's not that many but you do tend to see the on one or two scratches and that's thanks to the lighting system that there is in these rex detailing booths the high intensity lighting makes sure that these guys they see every scratch every imperfection so my car is going to be looking at its absolute best inshallah lovely so guys the car
