so we're filling a flurry tanker here i've been spreading sorry uh for the whole afternoon and um actually i'm just coming down to the last load but we're going to do something a little bit different into actually not really that different we're going to be doing like a part two to the the pulling test we've done a few weeks back with the kubota and the 6930 uh so we're just going to fill the tank off and i'll go through what we're actually going to do we're looking for some redemption for the deal but i don't know whether we'll get it or not but just have to see so let's fill the tank off and we'll see what we're going to do [Applause] so back in the deal and we're going to do another pull test this time we're going to be trying it just a little bit differently if you remember the last pole test we've done in the deal was against the kubota and the kubota beat it forcing the kubota 175 horsepower beat 180 horsepower deal 600 uh that didn't know me that much of the beating but what didn't i mean is that the six nine on both occasions was going faster at the finish line than what the kubota was uh and why was it doing why was it faster at the finish line but not fast off not faster when it counted up through the gears or on the initial pull and i mentioned in the video at the time i think it i think it was down to the fact that the boost uh wasn't wasn't kicking in early enough on the deal and there's such a huge difference in boost uh with the from uh it's not what's from the boost isn't on to when the boost does come on so uh the the difference is it's 155 the deal without the boost it's 180 with the boost the kubota is 170 without the boost it's 175 with the boost so there's 25 horsepower of the game for the kubota it's not that uh it's not that much of a difference 25 horsepower to be gained with the deer so it's a much much bigger difference so what we're going to do is we are going to try the deer today uh same load of slurry basically it says the same tank you've seen tank of tigers full uh falls at the top it's the same tank that i actually mixed it today i've done a couple of loads just doing a small field of grades in fourier field and so i've took three loads out of it already got mixed earlier on today it's the same a little it's the same tank that we took slurry out of for the the kubota test and for the deer test the tank that hasn't been it's quite watery slurry so we haven't been using that much it's only on grazing so it's it's very similar conditions nothing has changed with the 6.9 the weights are still on it nothing has changed the only thing that we've done is we've disconnected the pto a shaft we've we've put it back it's sitting on the toilet hopefully it doesn't fall off and get damaged but i don't think it will uh uh we're gonna engage we'll engage the pto so boost will be on from the second that we take off we'll see what difference does it make maybe to make no difference maybe it will but we're going to test it we're going to see if it works uh in the deer's favor maybe it doesn't so let's see how it gets on so let's just set the camera up we'll get into position and we're going to pull test part 2 for the deal so here we go we are yeah so we're in possession gonna just switch on the pto so that we will have boost from the word go where in forward now we're just going to pull it forward to the line same as we did on both other occasions and here we go we're away not really sure if we're any quicker or not yes that's the killer there that's what kills it compared to the kubota but we'll see if it makes any difference we haven't changed now we're just changing it to gear number two and up to gear number three and bang there we go and we're doing i think about 25 or six kilometers now roughly hey around that's the first part of the pole done uh part number two now now part number two of the pole is taken off here now from the lane and just checking to make sure that the road is clear that i don't end up pulling out and uh something coming so here we go now we're away i'm pulling up the hill so it's quite a steep pull up the hill changed into change into d so here we go boosted version on the left none boosted on the right here we go we're starting off up the hill so slight pull up out of the yard and fairly even so far not much in the difference but this is now where you should really start to see a little bit of a difference being pulled if the 25 horsepower is kicked in uh you should see it here and it does look like it's ahead the the the left-hand boosted version is well ahead actually you can see it there speed difference it's way way ahead so just getting there nowhere paused uh we're right now with the start of that shed on the left-hand side uh the non-boosted version was a couple of seconds back from that and there was a big difference kilometers was those i from memory around things around four or five kilometers of a difference in the two speeds so we're just happening at the end of the lane i would do the the pull from from from the end of the lane now up the hill so both have lined up we're just waiting for them to pull off and here we go we're just starting to pull off the hill um just pull down the left hand side here you'll see the boosted person stop that and the non boosted is back a little bit from it so there's a difference already and the poll now continues this is steep heavy pole with the tanker initially we will be stopping now again just watch out now for the end of the fence on the right so you can see the the boosted version is well ahead on the fence already and then that continues on right down you'll see now the word stopped and you can just see the pole the uh there it is there now on the ground there's quite a distance uh i we're doing over 40 kilometers now in the in the six nine with the boost at this point whereas we're doing like 32 i think uh in the non-boosted so move on to the kubota here we go this will be very close so up at the gate and here now again this is where the pole is kubota definitely has a little bit of an advantage here because it doesn't have to change gear you have to make a gear change and that does slow momentum slightly but the fact that the boost is in is a huge huge difference uh so we're going to be coming to the stop now very soon and yeah you can see the deer has just beaten it there it's back probably about a second from uh from where the deer is now now that the deer has got the boost so still a fine fine showing from the kubota for a full cylinder still a fine join but the boost is making all the difference so now just the final test and here we are now we're just going to pull it and up the hill waiting for the kubota to make an appearance here it is uh both screens now are gonna set up together and we're gonna take off uh in tandem and here we go so up the hill they're gonna stop at this pole again i think and there we go so the deer is slow closer to the pole at that point just fractionally again not very much in it uh now it's a heavy pull right up here and i think we can look now for the fence again on the right hand side and we're going to look first there it is there so it's very close there it's the deer is fractionally ahead i think at this point now you'll see now the deer stopped at the pole and the cabot you can see the shadow of the pole right across the road so it's just back that little bit from it not much behind much closer here much closer than a than even i still expected i thought the boost would even have more of a more of a difference but that's it then both tractors have very even horsepower wise there isn't five horsepower on the book uh between them and there was times especially when we got over the hill there uh at the very end uh where the deer just seemed to take off a little bit faster i was very even at the fence which just took off and i'd say i was down to the extra bit of talk from the six cylinder possibly you know but still very even and at least the deer did give a much better account of myself now with a with the boost on so yeah yeah it's an interesting second part of this video hope you enjoyed it i hadn't had the chance to do it over the last while because just wasn't in any slurry so opportunity come up today to do it there this evening and got it done so hope you enjoyed this and that's really it um next part of the the silage preparation video will be coming up in the next day or so so keep an eye out for that and that's it yeah don't forget to hit the sub button and we'll see you in the next one
