The BMW 340i is Getting Some Mods !

[Music] what's going on guys welcome back to the channel in today's video we're gonna be back to work on our bmw 340 x i build as you guys see in the previous video we pretty much got everything done on it but now we have some mods to go on this car you guys probably remember we did have our down pipe we just never had time to put it on but now we have a lot more parts we have a full set of tires right here and we also went ahead and got some konig wheels they actually hooked us up with those we'll talk about them a little bit later and we do have our lowering springs by h r and once we get the down pipe on we are also going to go ahead and tune this car up first thing we're going to do is go ahead and get the car in the air because pretty much all this stuff is going to require us to lift the car up so let's go ahead and lift it up and then we'll probably go ahead and start taking the wheels off [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay [Music] so we got all four tires off and they're actually still in some pretty good condition so we might use them for something else or probably sell them but now what i want to do is probably go ahead and start installing all the lowering springs because that is going to be the hardest part to do so pretty much all we have to do is drop these struts off the front i think the rear is going to be a lot easier it's just springs and pretty much just remove these off so let's go ahead and get this thing off [Music] so [Music] [Music] genius articulation of shocks [Music] so check it out guys we got the lowering springs in here the front ones are a little bit tougher than the back but we got also went ahead and got the back ones in everything is ready to go over here and this is gonna lower this car around two inches and the thing is these x eyes they actually sit a little higher so that's gonna be actually perfect now what we're gonna do is actually go install the downpipe so we're gonna go ahead and start installing this downpipe here it is right here and it is gonna be pretty simple actually install all we have to do is actually remove this little bottom bracket right here and then it should just be able to unbolt right there so let's go ahead and get this off and install this thing [Music] so [Music] pretty much have everything off down here we went ahead and unscrewed the exhaust now what we pretty much need to do is just lower the car down and plug the oxygen sensors and just unscrew the last two bolts and we'll take off the old one [Music] oh so we got our old cadillac converter off it really wasn't that hard to take off a lot easier than the m4 that we did a while back but check that out look at all that that's super restrictive and then we have our new one right here which is just completely empty which is gonna probably add make it sound a lot better and it might even pop a little bit more so let's go ahead and swap these sensors over to this one and we'll pop it back in the car [Music] uh [Music] [Music] uh so we pretty much have everything done under here we're going to install the down pipe put the undershield back on everything is buttoned up and now we're going to go ahead and start installing our konig reuniform rims man these things absolutely look awesome and the quality of them is really good also check them out let's go ahead and do a little test fit see how it's gonna look on the car out for your own bmw but now let's head to the tire shop and get them all mounted [Applause] so guys we're gonna go ahead and head to the tire shop real quick and get these tires all mounted up that's actually already got one tps sensor my board mark over here is gonna hook everything up always does good service over here let's get to it [Music] this [Music] so my boy mark actually hooked so we're back at the shop and now pretty much all we need to do is go ahead and put these cone and grims on the car man these things look absolutely awesome and they are staggered we went with i think 9.5 in the back and then 8.5 in the front which is going to suit this car perfectly so guys make sure you check out koenig wheels if you're trying to look for some new wheels and they're not too expensive either so let's go ahead and slap all these rims on the car [Music] [Applause] so there it is guys we've got all the rims and tires on the car and it absolutely looks amazing the fitment is pretty good i think the rear still needs to settle a little bit because it is a little higher than the front but what we're gonna do right now is go ahead and lift the car back up and we do have a front lip for it so here's the loop we're gonna put on it's pretty simple it goes on with 3m tape right here and then a couple of screws at the bottom [Music] so we got the bmw on the ground and man it looks absolutely stunning with the front lip with the konig rims now it's time to go ahead and tune it as you guys know we did install the downpipe and we did get an mhd tuner so let's hop in the car and get this thing tuned up so now we're actually gonna go ahead and tune this bmw and we did get our mhd chip right here it's super simple to use and it's pretty crazy how far technology has came all it is is this little chip right here and this is the black one so it does uh tune it a little bit faster and all you have to do is simply buy this from the mhd website and then just get a license key so it's going to plug this up and we've already downloaded the mhd app and let's tune this thing so we got the mhd chip plugged in and now all we want to do is just simply turn on the ignition just like that and you want to make sure your seat belts are on and we'll also go ahead and turn off all this stuff over here and now let's grab our phone and tune it up so super simple to use now all we have to do is press flash and we are going to do stage two because we did do the down pipes and let's go ahead and press it yep it's on 93. press stage two and there we go and then it'll give you the options for the exhaust yeah and then you can adjust it right there oh that's pretty cool you can actually adjust a lot of stuff on here do the startup roar that's pretty cool cool target stock no we don't want to miss that max speed do we need to go that's just for burbles and then you can just go ahead and press back and then flash it exhausting aggressive and that's it starting 30. little bit longer so guys there it is it's tuned let's go ahead and start this thing up [Music] as you can hear that is the loudstar it sounds much better now with the down pipe so we got the bmw all tuned up and just like that it's super easy to tune bmws especially with the mhd chip so if you're looking to tune your bmw i'll drop a link down below to the exact tune of this car they have a lot of different options and stuff now let's go ahead and test drive this thing so we're gonna do a test drive and just see how this thing drives that sounds pretty good much so we're gonna go ahead and do a little launch test in this thing this thing is pretty quick man what though oh yeah we're just a little bmw with a little mhd tune right sick those little bubbles and stuff are pretty nasty too right here oh look at the tunnel now let's go see what i guess it's a fun car to drive dude this is a sick car dude even though the the verbals are kind of obnoxious i mean it's just you can turn that off the best thing about the the tune is that you can turn them right off yeah so whenever you're done being a annoyance to the community menace to society yeah [Music] yo this thing is clean [Music]
