i've had a great idea stop everybody the goats are eating the tree so in conclusion then there is no appeal to an rv holiday is there this this whole experience wouldn't be so bad if we somehow could modify it so it's better to live in well i don't know if we could have one each well why don't we do that get one each yeah why don't we just get one each and then modify it to suit our particular requirements we don't have all of this offensive what do we want this is what i've gone for it's the ford f-550 national tropical and it's 36 feet long why so massive i wanted to modify it in such a way that i brought a small taste of home with me can you guess what it is uh brown furniture a rusty motorcycle no follow me walt holy moly whoa yes welcome to the rack and pinion what will it be i'm what they look like this is great it works we're already talking publix james it's my job to ridicule you honestly but i can't because apart from the dart board you've done an incredible job thank you so we can't drive over here but we have to get us and our cars to that beach over there if there were to be some kind of mounting point on that cliff maybe and then a mountain pouring down no noting point down there but that this that's a huge this one half a kilometer can you imagine the forces are the things at the end they're gonna have to be pretty huge massive we don't all live in a cartoon we would die given that there were no alternatives we had to go with the apes plan which was to turn our beach buggies into cable cars it's more than just over two years that's good enough so we headed to a nearby abandoned mine to scavenge materials is that any good how much more of that cable have we got four drums [Music] how much of this do you want 30 meters [Music] [Music] several days later and with absolutely no help whatsoever from any namibian mining engineers [Music] the world's first beach buggy cable car was ready and stop everybody the goats are eating the tree that we've anchored it to shoe goats shoe [Music] they were eating the tree anyway as i was saying it stretched for more than a third of a mile and since the drop to the crocodile infested river was several hundred feet we decided james should go first whoa [Music] oh it's really high it's really hard you bloke i'm turning the engine off we had to test well exactly well you had to go first don't look at us and think we're bad because that was sense that was scientifically vigorous [Applause] [Music] it's a cable car it's a cable car i've been on lots of cable cars cable cars are very safe oh god look it's good that's this is where it's hiding that's horrible i'm at the end that's a landing yes i'm gonna weigh all three cars to prove the alpha's the rightest the problem with your plan is that you'd need a whey bridge yes and yes well hang on we'll get one there isn't one i have got the hotel brochure here actually and you know it's got three restaurants a spa and a gym business center tennis court but with one clearing a mission what there's no way bridges no they haven't thought of that i'd knock a star off i shall build one i shall build a weighbridge and then you shall see [Music] quick and effective having established the weight of the mazda it was time to do the zenos right hammond reverse off down my superb ramp oh i'm going to work this way a bit isn't doing that james counterbalance is with you hang on that's not gone well no it's moved no it's good news oh this is now the back wheels have come off somebody get on the whole crew what's happened oh god no there's no point doing that hammond we need to think this through hang on i've got an idea if you get off there this side will go up then you can put the ramp under the back wheels of the mazda when it comes down again you all need to get off well i'm off hang on is are you going up now i think so no we need i know everybody has to go outside yeah everybody all the crew all the chunkier lads if you get on that one how did we get into this position somebody pull on the front just to tip it then and then we will move this ramp hello can they have he's down there i'm gonna die am i dead am i dead and it's here that we've come up with our ingenious solution to ending the misery of fuel stop phillips allow me yes welcome everybody to the world's first vehicle-to-vehicle refueling vehicle [Music] to create this incredible machine we've taken our inspiration from the world of air-to-air refuelling and it will quite simply make petrol stations obsolete now the driver sits up here as normal but this is where the fuel pump attendant which in this case is me sits with all the controls everything you need for a spot of carter car refueling absolutely and we are so pleased with our creation that we are going to let the machine itself do the talking with a real world world first first ever yeah we got that inaugural demonstration [Music] [Music] okay so here i am on the motorway oh no i need petrol i'll make contact with james's refueling vehicle probably via an app or something there's always an app we'll get a kid to do that and there he is now here comes my first customer now down the motorway i'm gonna know it's him who needs my services there'll be an app or something for that i've got a range of fuels unleaded super leaded diesel here we go [Music] hold steady finger extending again [Music] got it oh cocking nora yeah we're nearly there having successfully opened the villa flap it was time for phase two unscrewing the fuel cap [Music] passengers would love this think of the kids i mean they would love watching this yeah there it is [Music] we are pumping yeah we are pumping gas oh yeah it works oh what's happened right you're on fire bail out oh no we then went shopping in bogota's massive auto district 20 city blocks of nothing but shops selling car parts [Music] all i really need from honest to make my car better is some kind of ladder so i get some elevation for the photography and a chair to sit on and a roof what's all that on the back that gentleman is a scissor lift what it's a scissor lift simply get in that and rise up so then i can say you're going to be a window cleaner the only thing this didn't really have was proper elevation now i have it how high does it go 38 feet really yeah it'll just fall over that's why i fitted it with outriggers they're not far enough apart or big enough they slide how much does it weigh that i've added half a ton right it's ready you're going up in it well why'd you not well actually one reason we see the maximum weight 159 kilograms oh you're not going anywhere right well the camera is quite heavy no oh okay it's the camera keep going until the end bit drops out why don't you two yes get in your cars yes okay and can i just reinforce one thing what silence is key all i needed now was an opponent a board game veteran a man who thinks call of duty is a visit to the lavatory that's excellent hammond you've thought of everything oh i have containers as the fence it's got a fireman in case things get out of hand health and safety bloke to stop us blowing ourselves up cars that look exactly like ships the lot but how are you going to fire the missiles at the cars ah well that is the real genius in my plan easy powerful and proven fire the gee whiz missiles with the movie camera you reckon that's accurate enough well it's a cannon but you've got to hit a specific square you aim the cannon you adjust the trajectory and elevation but you reckon you can work that out it's a cannon to shut james up i took one of the spare cars to demonstrate a practice shot right we're all set it's fully charged pressure's good fire you
