The BEST Warrior Leveling Guide for Season of Discovery (Level 1 - 25)

as you guys know I've been playing Warrior for quite some time and I have a fairly good understanding of how the class plays in this video I'm going to go over everything you need to know to play Warrior to the best of your abilities from levels 1 to 25 in season of Discovery we will cover leveling talents runes consumables and professions most people believe that Warrior is one of the harder classes to level in classic wow but this simply isn't the case as long as you're prepared and know what you're doing in all honesty Warriors actually feel like one of the best classes to when played correctly so without further Ado guys let's Dive In My Fire be so let's start out with runes depending on your race choice for warrior you will either start with a two-handed weapon or a one-hander and a shield the most important thing to note here is that you're going to want to switch over to a two-hander as fast as possible to make leveling experience a lot easier the reason for this is because early on around level 8 you'll gain access to a leg Rune called frenzy assault which gives 20% increased attack speed when using two-handed weapons this Rune is incredibly strong especially if you use it early on the other four runes that you'll have access to pre- level 10 are going to be Victory Rush Furious Thunder blood frenzy and devastate the obvious choices for leveling would be to use Victory Rush blood frenzy and frenzy to salt Victory Rush will be obtained around level two and serves as an awesome way to tear through mobs while leveling and minimize your downtime due to the fact that it heals you for 10% of your health every single time you use it blood frenzy will serve as your best and Slot chest Rune while leveling pretty much all the way to level 25 simply because applying Ren which is a bleed that Warriors get around level four to your targets will greatly increase your rage generation which is the main struggle for warriors at these early levels the best part about this is that all three of these best and Slot leveling runes are easily obtained before even reaching level 10 Victory Rush will be your level two Rune Quest given to you by your class trainer which is pretty self-explanatory so I won't go into detail here frenzy assault is acquired for Alliance by speaking with inkeeper barley beard in Iron Forge who will ask you to kill brart who is located about 10 yards away between the door and the staircase for horde head to Ogar and speak with zja in the drag she'll ask you to kill grar outside of the cooking Hut to receive the rune as for blood frenzy whether you're playing horde or Alliance this Rune will be obtained by finding and defeating the wandering swordsman a neutral mob that walks around elwin Forest dun Maro tasil durar mulgore and trisal Glades the frenzy assault Rune can be obtained in almost any major city whether your horde or Alliance I just used those two as an example for more information on that you can visit Wowhead and check out their guides now that we've covered the best runes to use to make your leveling experience easier let's talk about how to spend your t Talent points as you level I suggest putting your first three Talent points into improved Rend the damage isn't amazing but you're going to be using it a lot more now due to the fact that the blood frenzy Rune will be helping you generate tons of R the next two Talent points are going to go into deflection to increase your Parry Chance by an extra 2% it doesn't seem like much but parrying 2% more often is going to help you more than you would think after that we're going to drop two points into improve charge this will help you pull up a good amount of rage on your opener and then three points into heroic strike to reduce the cost of heroic strike by three rage this Talent coupled with the blood frenzy Rune allows you to use heroic strike a lot more often than usual our next Talent point is going to go into improved overpower but we're only going to put one point here this will greatly improve your chance to get some huge overpower crits on mobs when they Dodge your attacks which you should be using every single time it's available as for our last five points we're going to head over to the fury tree and be dropping all five points into cruelty to increase increase your Critical Strike Chance by an extra 5% which in return will greatly improve your damage output so we've got runes and talents covered now let's talk about what kind of gear to use while leveling as stated earlier using a two-handed weapon is going to be your best bet for leveling a warrior at level 20 you'll learn how to dual wield one-handed weapons but two-handed weapons will always outperform this by a lot due to the lack of hit on gear at this level while leveling to 25 you're pretty much going to be equipping any gear received from Quest Rewards or drops that is green or higher and has stats on it the main stats you want to prioritize here are going to be strength stamina agility and spirit strength is going to increase your attack power which will help you kill mobs faster stamina is going to increase your health which will minimize downtime and help keep you alive agility will increase your Dodge chance armor and crit chance making you a little bit harder to kill while also increasing your damage and spirit will help with health regeneration to help keep you alive and minimize your downtime yet yet again Warrior is by far the most gear dependent class in classic wow so if you have some gold to spend I highly suggest heading to the auction house and picking up at the very least a new green two-handed weapon every few levels to help keep leveling easy you can look for any two-hander of the bear of the tiger or of the boar of the bear will give you strength and stamina of the tiger will give you strength and Agility and of the boore will give you strength and spirit all of which would be solid choices for warrior leveling to be honest the same goes for other armor slots as well as I said earlier Warrior is the most gear dependent class in classic wow so the more pieces of gear you can pick up the smoother the leveling experience will be now that we've covered runes talents and leveling gear let's talk about professions it's important to note here that in phase one of season of Discovery blizzard has capped our professions at 150 this severely limits the potential of certain professions in this phase choosing your professions is going to come down to your level 25 endgame game plan do you want to tank or DPS if you're planning on dpsing engineering paired with mining is always a solid profession for pretty much any class due to the vast selection of items that provide you with extra damage or extra stats such as bombs dynamite and goggles however in my opinion while leveling your best choice would be to pick up skinning and leather working leather working will allow you to craft your Void touch leather gloves at level 25 which are a massive DPS increase due to the fact that they give you 1% hit and an onuse effect that will increase your attack speed by 10% for 10 seconds after you obtain your gloves you can always use skinning as a way to farm some extra gold and then drop skinning and learn engineering to use engineering and leather working as your two main professions which will give you the most DPS possible however if you opt to just keep skinning and leather working that is still a solid Choice as the DPS increase from engineering at this level isn't as big as it is in the later levels if you're planning on playing as tank I would suggest taking Mining and blacksmithing blacksmithing will be extremely useful at level 25 because you'll be able to craft your best in slot chest piece which is the shifting silver breastplate this chest piece gives you 12 strength five stamina 1% hit and it has an effect on it that has a chance to curse Those Who attack you causing them to take additional damage from all sources for 15 seconds it's important to note here that Mining and blacksmithing are also a solid choice for DPS as well the chest piece isn't as large of a DPS increase as the gloves but you're still getting that 1% hit and a nice amount of strength and for anyone wondering you cannot use blacksmithing and leather working to use both the gloves and the chest these void touched items are unique void touched meaning you can only equip one of these craftable items at a time now let's take a look at our secondary professions fishing and cooking are always solid but completely optional first aid however is not optional for warriors first aid is absolutely essential especially throughout the leveling process while leveling humanoids will be dropping linen wool and even silk cloth all of this cloth should be saved and used to max out first aid as fast as you can having bandages on hand can save your life more times than you would think and you'll be happy to have them when you need them because you will need them now let's talk about consumables as a young Warrior charging into combat and spamming your abilities you could find yourself in some seriously sticky situations maybe you accidentally pulled three mobs instead of two maybe you accidentally pulled hoger and you feel like maybe you have a chance at soloing him well with the right consumables you actually might there's a ton of consumables in the game to use at this level but we're going to focus on the main ones that really can enhance your leveling experience in these early levels for starters elixir of lion strength which grants you four strength for one hour can be purchased on the auction house for next to nothing and should always be used if you can afford it as well as elixir of minor agility which grants you four agility for 1 hour as well these potions can be used together to give you an extra four strength and four agility at all times which is basically like having an extra solid piece of gear equipped which really can enhance the speed and quality of leveling rage potions are another good one for warriors these potions Grant you 20 to 40 rage upon use which really can help when trying to take down a large group of mobs or even a higher level single mob aside from those three I would try to always have some health potions on hand you'll be chugging these constantly to keep yourself alive when you overpull or just bite off more than you can chew at level three you have access to lesser healing potions which will grant you 140 to 180 health and at level 12 you have access to healing potions that Grant you between 280 and 360 Health upon use if the level 12 healing potions are too expensive just keep purchasing lesser healing potions to have on hand in case you need them honestly leveling warrior in season of Discovery felt really good if played right it has minimal downtime tons of damage and it's a lot of fun as well there will be times where you start to struggle a bit but usually that's because you leveled so fast that your gear is now outdated and it's time for some upgrades if you enjoy charging into battle slamming all your buttons making things bleed and delivering the heads of your enemies for runes then I can assure you you'll love warrior in my opinion Warrior is one of the most rewarding classes to play in classic wow play it right and your damage is insane and you feel like an Unstoppable killing machine play it wrong and you'll find yourself walking back to your corpse 90% of the time each piece of gear you upgrade along the way feels extremely impactful and makes you feel a really strong sense of progression this coupled with swinging giant weapons and charging head
