one time I was in Bermuda and this woman came up to our table and she's like our new Keanu Reeves then she said have fun for you bucket we're not gonna [ __ ] rusty well show us the puppies and so there's like a sick puppy section and in a healthy puppy section so like that's clear we'll go to the healthy puppy section haha who are they gonna bring up I can't you want to meet rusty what if he was like totally calm the serial killer hey hey guys I'm rusty I wish I wish I could I wish I did it was just took more time to do that but I even entered the order I was always used to rehearsing during the day and doing things as I you know like a reversing scene working from like stuff like the strength of the stories there's lots of near misses maybe even same there she shouid you know time there's there's lots of yeah I don't know I don't know maybe it doesn't it's a tragedy but but it's not another way or is very nice we were all very nice and thank you for coming out yes or no okay actors so I always like to six I don't even know if you're trying to be funny if we put a black widow and the kylo Ren in a battle two of the way and we're kind of right of course it's not really a controversial question because I'm taller I have a lightsaber I have a nicer car you do yeah you haven't seen it yet but I know see what else I'm older I can go on I can keep I usually you're supposed to cut me off and then so answers because I thought you were to say breath black widow because she's listed for new interesting because she's a super girl yeah we'll look at isla - Sutra in it's only I don't know he's technically a super hero buddies he's definitely definitely taller or Cullen is definitely taller I'm shorter [Music] thoughtfulness and intelligence compassion and conviction and Mordor which I think should come as no surprise because you can learn a lot about her through her work without her having to say anything it's an illusion in most cases but as far as Laura's concern we just saw you move the other night thank you so much and exercise and understanding others not just the characters you're serving but understanding a creative team but it's inseparable from the character of the movie emotionally with um I was just wondering have you ever thought up apologies if you have but I'm have you ever thought of venturing into directing yourself no absolutely no yeah well just because I don't think I'd be good at it and I have I've met really good directors and I feel like it requires like like you got to answer a lot of questions and be able to articulate what is not working about something and have like a visual storytelling and and I just don't think I see the world that way I'm enamored of directors and I'd love to you know can hopefully continue to work with really great people but for me where I'm at my life now it doesn't doesn't interest me seemingly we've seen with writers I wish I could you know he's just right things for yourself but maybe but I think I would I just don't have the disposition I don't think thank you very much I go through man is that a driver it's called star wars I blink on the road thank you very much time is that yes there's a huge obviously you know visual element that's going on that's very satisfying there you know it's it's beautiful to look at but no one will care if you don't care about what these human themes that are what propelled the movie forward this thing of like Luke being a kid from a small town who it feels like he's destined for something greater about friendship and discovering your place you know among your friends your family that you've acquired and family that you're tied to have you things about them that you identify with or things that you're trying to run away from all these you the themes are the things that make the spectacle of it more exciting and interesting you might get some real folks name is Adam driver I'm currently in royal Park in Brussels looking for this guy jaw blow job low is our director Leo's caraxes dog he's it's a third-generation of it he's had the grandfather and the father and now job low he went missing yesterday we're shooting a scene in a club as you do and we were outside and he got spooked by some of the traffic and ran off so he's been missing for 24 hours the last place he was seen as in this park where we all are there's a group of people behind us looking for a job low but if anyone has seen them please maybe get another close-up on the number to give us a call he's very much a member of the family to the crew we will put you in the movie we'll give you chocolate well christen your child will do anything as a way of saying he is saying thank you okay Adam driver job lo now had to ask there's that Star Wars reference was that always the script did you write that in or is that just think it was always in there was a couple moments of like they're people having like self-referential kind of things [Music] script there was a couple of them and then he reached out and I think that because you have to get permission to use the image you know and they originally like you went through like somebody else and they said no and so we had so I called Kathy Kennedy and she you know explained what was going on and she's like of course it's a good person ask yeah [Music] yes when that story was when I was a young man and I had the best story ever was when I went to the store oh no no no no no the UH he he he went to uh he was sorry oh yeah one time take this sucks this just stops [Music] my question is did in your performance of kylo Ren did you allow Ben solo and who he was before to influence the way that you can play Cod or was when she entered into kylo Ren were you in a completely different space did you bring his legacy and his heritage into the performance with you within this one yes I think maybe subconsciously I don't think it's a you know when people are actively trying to deny a certain part of their lives I think they can do it pretty successfully and then it just turns into what happened is happening around them that brings it out of them so I think maybe but it's not I think it's something that we actively caught something that you can take personally because yes to maintain that if someone comes along you know maybe sometimes that's actually good with something so there's one network ideology and then there's kind of your personal heritage which some people have a different relationship some people have the luxury of not being able to think about it but it's not something that they is something they confront because they've never faced anything that's in this case severe to make them come out of their their selves and some people is important to them than some people it's not I like that idea that just is you know are we bound by genetics or or is it something that no I want to circumvent that and be my own person or actually does it make you your life more enriching knowing where you came from or though that's important what I liked about it was this guy who has kind of a work ethic that saw as being confronted as long as with his I identity almost at the same time and how interchangeable or sometimes almost intertwined those things can be where you know he has a work ideology that's very much about self-preserving because he's it's his career that's what he's planning to doing so he's trained himself to be unemotional about what he's doing to make it more of a job and keep it keep distance from it and that you know his identity as a person isn't so is something that's a driving force he kind of has the luxury of not being confronted with it you know but then suddenly it may be actually life makes you better at your job maybe a you know some people obviously feel no attachment to their genetics or if anything it feels like they're in prisons them in a way and they want to escape it and and they can't or that's frustrating but some people don't have that luxury even think about that question unless you're like my character who's literally confronted with hatin has to you know sue is forced to kind of make a choice for himself and actually maybe that makes him better at his job maybe taking it personal doesn't make you more rational but more empowered you know so that idea was was interesting to to play with but what the end result is is you know it's not something we're thinking about or talking about so much you
