all right guys I apologize for all I'm always going on the background my son is currently in the living room with me but yeah so I'm gonna go ahead and print this logo from his YouTube channel on to one of my shirts it's super simple I mean once you have something designed all you have to do is print it your inkjet or to your home printer the same way you would print any other document I've had a shirt that's been printed for a very long time now and I'll show you that as well it's like just a small little circle that says border detail season and it's like a piece of sweet bread or a crunch ow and I even scratch that I've washed that garment or that shirt over and over already I think I wear at least once a week or as soon as my as my fiancée claims that I wear it so I know it's durable one of my son's birthday shirts was printed in this as well and it has been extremely durable and this you know people are asked well if you can't do full print color shirts what would you use this you know material for and it really is that you know it's really good for small logos it's really good for kid shirts like birthday party shirts you know how they always want some type of design and it's falling color with their name similar to the logo it's really good for those type of location occasions but it actually does last you know as opposed to a lot of these other birthday shirts or party shirts that you find on that teehee or your local market please wear their Walmart iron-on and the crack really quick this is not so without further adue you know let's go ahead and print this guy and let's show you the process of how to get this onto a shirt are you guys so look like a regular sheet of paper it's not go ahead and put it facedown that's kind of the orientation you put in so for low iron arms and on the design you have to flip it over because you typically cut it and you like flip it or something on this you just print as it is you don't have to reverse the image like when you do vinyl cutting so you print as it is regular and yeah let's continue alright guys so I'm just gonna kind of go through the settings that I use messages that I have found so yeah second screen recording I know but I don't feel like doing all that right now so it resides it's later it's a regular day and a half by you know half by 11 sheet of paper you're gonna leave it that's plain paper do not do photography because it'll saturate it too much and it'll be a little bit more difficult for you to kind of heal or to seal the the print the print quality is where you want to go ahead and click best I do use an HP printer and I'll tell you why in a little bit color same portrait same for both sides now all this stuff is the same and then also what I'm going to do is I'm going to switch this to landscape almost forgot so we're gonna click and so now it's flip the orientation mode in here all this stuff pretty much stays the same I do click sheet to fit unless you're positive that your margins are exactly but this is a pretty large print that I'm in so I want to make sure you print properly and I know the camera looks pretty vibrant and it is it is kind of library but when you put it on the garment it becomes a more vibrant I don't know what it is about using the heat press that kind of makes them much more much more colorful alright so for this next part all you're gonna need is literally the paper you just cut you just print it out or the I don't know I guess you have called it heat transfer paper that's what the proper term is oh and some scissors now is there a way to cut this out with your vinyl cutter yes there is but I will be showing you how to do that in a further video so that you can learn how to cut out perfect silhouette shapes with any model cutter a Cricut explore two for my fiance and then I have my big us cutter vinyl cutter over here I'm gonna go ahead and cut this guy out and they all show you the type of material this thing is I get to the touch it feels like a regular sheet of paper but it's really neat how this works so a quick tip I would recommend guys especially if you don't black garments I sell a black garment this will startle off whatever your design is put a very thick black border around everything that way makes it easy to kind of cut a along the line and if it's white then you do like a white border sort of thing with a little thin black outline that will you cut along the line and you're able to get those nice contours and you don't you don't mess up or show none of the exposed bone oil or expose heat transfer paper where there's no pink because as you cut this the scissors are little rough on him it's not like it's not they're not as precise as your vinyl cutter and so what happens is you'll expose some of the the heat transfer paper without ink and so it looks a little bit unprofessional I guess you would say all right finally done I know the more the details are the more curves and shape that you have the more difficult this becomes but I still have a couple of white areas to weed out I guess or cut out I'm gonna do that with the exacto knife you kind of look at their little white areas but you can tell for the most part on the edges there I got a little cleanup to do like right there but you see where the scissors aren't very sharp it kind of lifts they left like a fuzzy but you can clean that up fairly easily but for the most part if you see there's just a nice black outline much white so it should press really well on to whatever garment I put it on I said I'm gonna go ahead and we lose out with the lack of knife so place them my little Raglan that I have here again I'm just kind of doing this for demonstration this is not a professionally made strip I'm just trying to you know for doing purposes I'm gonna press it down so I get the moisture out I know you can see you 160 16 seconds counting down over here now you can't see on the camera doesn't need to be that long just a couple of seconds so that's kind of ready little heat transfer you take the backing off of course let's have the backing on it you kind of see well be a little careful especially when you're going around there's you've cut or where there's holes and I forgot to mention guys there is two versions of this paper there is the dark garment version and the light permit I always purchase the dark no matter what even if I'm putting it on Lars on dark garnet I see that because on the light garnet version of this guy you have to get the transfer paper with it and then so you have to print everything in Reverse and then there's just much more steps for you're not really saving any type of money so go ahead and set that what we wanted I'm go ahead and put my little silicone sheet over this like that now let me go ahead and press it for a 16 seconds put as much pressure as you can typically what I do that boy like to give them a little bit of a texture so I I remove it and then I kind of do it again for the paper up like this the thing that I go fibers I run across the silicon paper so it gives it like there's a nice little square pattern on the print and the final print so we're gonna go ahead and press it one more time this time only for half the time which is 8 seconds nice and so I don't know if you could tell from when it was sitting laying down before I press it but you can definitely tell how the color has came out now so let me go ahead and switch camera angles and I'll show you the final print hi guys so this is the final print check that out look how vibrant the colors are I really can't explain how much more vibrant they become after it is pressed it's hard to to to show it on the camera but man these colors are super vibrant now the the material is stretchy you know you're not gonna rip it on the first there were a couple of tries it feels nice to the touch after you heat it up now I will say one thing you know after you wear it you know if you don't iron it the day of wiring is or thrown in the dryer it will feel hard it doesn't feel as hard as paper or crinkly like paper but it does feel you know like a little bit I see you for the way you can fix that or tell your client says you know if you plan on wearing it that week just make sure you thread in the dryer at some point or when you iron it turn it inside out and just be gentle when you're ironing over it so you can kind of heat up the vinyl and just make it stretch again if you guys are gonna like me to try the light garment version go ahead and leave a comment below earlier I did tell you I use HP for printing and I'll tell you guys why I don't want a little cheat code in a life so HP with their new printers have what's called HP instant ink and so what that is you pay a monthly fee instead of you having to go out and buy cartridges every single time you need them you pay a single monthly fee I think I'm subscribed to the 50 prints a month and then I believe three dollars and 99 cents a night a month for 50 prints and of course and I have roll over from the previous month I can still use them what's great about it is yes you pay one monthly fee but the coolest thing is you don't really run out of ink once your printer starts kind of notices running low lately I automatically send you a new cartridge I'm not affiliated with HP at all I don't even have a code or anything I'm just kind of you know raving about their services because it honestly has been a godsend you know ink used to be super expensive to where you couldn't really do this type of stuff at home I mean it wasn't cost productive but now with this type of subscription you definitely can and they have different tiers they have you know the one I'm using for 50 pages on one which is 399 or $2.99 they have a 100 page or 500 page I mean you can go on and on and on until you know I'm guessing even into the business level but for somebody that learned something from home I definitely recommend you get in the newer HP inkjet printer which are not expensive at all make sure have instant ink logo on them or instant ink ready I showed you what type of printer I have and I also link that in the description the type of printer I'm using it also makes everything easier because it's super dense Wireless you don't have to ever connect the cable to your computer I don't know you know it is my computer's in my living room and my predators in the dining room and I keep pressing anything else in or laundry but I'll definitely get an HP printer guys all right so that's probably as I have a shirt here that I printed I would say it's around three months but I'll have this shirt and I wear it like I said at least once a week so I get to watch once a week and you can see kind of print quality that's still on here now these little things are part of the prayer I know looks like it's kind of faded right there but they're partly were part of the print so I do apologize for that and guys look I'm literally scratching at this with my nail as hard as I can I mean the color does not come off it doesn't flake it doesn't peel I mean and and what I mean see like so this year has been sitting for a good I would say week now I'm getting ready for this tomorrow actually but like if you listened it's a little plastic you don't throw it in the washer I mean in the dryer or you know iron it a little bit nothing look at that guys still nice and flexible it doesn't have been cracked no I pull hard enough am I gonna crack it yes but for you know small graphic teens like this it's great you know for birthday shirts or advanced you know family reunions anything nice I mean I you can put a picture on there's a portrait on this and it'll it'll be vibrant and and nice now I've never tried on any other printer besides an HP printer so please you know if you have for example a Canon an Epson a brother or whatever I apologize if the quality is not the same I can tap you know vouch for those those printers but I know the HP I've had an older version of my inkjet printer and this is a newer one that I read recently acquired and they worked great you know they work amazing so I think the total cost to print for me you know is you know I think it's around 80 70 cents I was a 72 cents a print when you buy the paper in bulk and you built the HP instant ink like I'm doing thanks so much for watching guys do you like these type of videos if so please hit that like button it definitely helps more than you think please subscribe to the channel comment below what type of video you like to see and I would love to you know invest a little bit of money and investigate for you guys and you know get to the bottom of whatever you guys it is it is the owners thinking is our product you want me to try you know in this industry anyways thank you so much for watching guys you
