[Music] hi guys welcome back ally cats and if you're not an alley cat subscribe become one join the kitty litter it's not as gross as it sounds like this video share it with your friends and family so that they can become alley cats too and turn on those notifications so you know when i post i post every wednesday and friday now every wednesday is a vlog and every friday is a full video okay let's get into this so today's video is gonna be a slightly shorter one but this is an important one too though because this is one of my most treasured and most important tricks that i have ever learned and this is because one of my biggest insecurities is my under eye circles i'll admit in this lighting i feel like this lighting is flattering enough to where it's not showing the circle as much as it it is it is as much it is as deep as it is in real life my orbital bone is very prominent on the outside and it's more sunken in toward the center here which is why i have this line here here we go look at this bottom angle here all right so you can see obviously that i have dark circles which is a whole other insecurity as well but so i have the discoloration here but you can also see i have a prominent circle on each side say i color correct and conceal but i don't do it in with any strategy i just place it there i blend it out that's it that doesn't get rid of the circle it'll get rid of discoloration for sure but then i'll still see a full blown line line up underneath my eyes i hate it i get so frustrated with how that looks i really do which is why i'm thinking that some of you alley cats also have this issue and possibly are insecure about it yourselves you don't have to be that's for sure but you know you know how that is we have our own insecurities you know so if you're insecure about it like me then i have these tips that i want to share with you so the first step is to correct the discoloration up underneath the eye obviously based on skin tone and the color of the discoloration underneath your eye that's going to determine what color corrector you go for which honestly is a whole video in and of itself [Laughter] so i won't go too far into that i'm going to use the color corrector that i personally love and it is from nyx it is the dark circle concealer and it's in the shade light this has been my go-to for years you don't know how many color correctors i have tried in my life if i tell my head down you can see that it's a blue toned red this shade here the shade uh light is the perfect shade for me i'll let you guys see the pot it's gonna be hard to tell i'll lower the brightness here so you can see it what you're going to need for this technique is the right tool a tiny little brush something detailed synthetic let me show you this guy do you see how small he is i can get very precise with him i don't know what this is i have had it for so many years i legit have no idea what this brush is so i'm going in with this little dude and i'm going to correct only one side so you guys can see the difference at the end so i'm going to go ahead and correct this side and what i like to do is you see that i have placed it directly above where these the circle is i'm going right in that circle only and i'm only going where i see the discoloration too you can see that it's pretty light normal skin tone here and then you can really see that discoloration through here so i'm very strategic in how i place it and i will place it in that inner corner you don't need a lot that's about it unblended you can even see how much that corrects you guys know i use my hands for everything i really do so i'm just using my ring finger here and i'm going to start tapping this out and do it in a back and forth motion and just little taps this helps keep it exactly where you want it and not spread it out too far you can see i tilt my head down and it's corrected there's still a line a circle right there that still needs to be corrected but you can kind of see where there's fullness here i have fullness all through here and that's what's creating this circle because it's full here but then it sinks down here which is why i don't really want to elevate this you know that whole concealer trick where you take your concealer you put it in a big triangle right here no no no no no no horrible first of all don't really love that technique for most people honestly but especially for anyone that has more fullness here and less fullness underneath the eye that is not a good trick to do because it will make this part look even more full it'll bring it forward even more and then it's still going to look receded up there is just not the best technique let me show you my secret technique then i'm so excited that i get to share this ah this is like this is big because when i learned how to do this oh game changer so this is when you pull out your concealer i'm using the milani conceal and perfect long wear concealer and this is in the shade light nude i really like this concealer it is long wearing it has great coverage but it's not heavy either and it's not drying so i don't even take it out of the tube i will not take it out of the tube i don't need to there's always a little product that's still up in here so what i will do is take my brush and then i'll find a little spot of product here and i'll take a little of that product on my brush look how little i have it's like nothing so what we're gonna do is take this concealer and literally only put it in the most sunken in area of your eye the part where you see the actual circle okay that whole area so i'm placing it in the deepest part of the circle first which for me is like right here i will place it in the darkest part first because i have very little on my brush i'm also just using this tapping motion and then once it's placed in that very bottom part of the circle i can start feathering it up just a little see that wet area there that is exactly where i placed the concealer right in the circle so now i dip my head down look at the difference between the two i look like a freaking zombie over here but over here there's fullness i'm trying not to smile don't spoil this looks full now this looks even i look forward it looks even it's wet so you can see the wetness there but it looks even now that's all the concealer you need by the way that's it that's all i did you don't need big dabs of concealer everywhere like no that's instagram that's not reality it's just not next i'm just gonna be setting my under eyes i like to use the rcma no color powder what i like to do is use a beauty blender tap it into the powder you don't need much i actually picked up too much oh but you don't need much and then you're just going to tap straight over that and you're going to set it if you use your beauty blender damp you're going to add a little more moisture into the skin under there especially if you have an issue with your under eyes being dry or crepey this would be a great way to add a little moisture in look at the difference between my two eyes do you see the circles gone isn't that wild i get so excited about this stuff like and it doesn't look creepy it doesn't look heavy it doesn't look unnatural i don't like when it looks like a ton of makeup is just sitting there you know what i mean and from this point obviously the rest of my face isn't done i don't have any makeup on i have lip balm on you just need to have the right tools and to use the right technique i really hope that this helps anyone out there that has under eye circles i know that it is such a prominent part of your face like everyone is looking right there and i know if you feel like me my under eye circles have always made me feel older than i am i feel like they always made me look older when i was a teenager i thought i looked like 80 something i don't know i would get people asking if i was tired if i was sick that's annoying and shouldn't be asked anyways but that's besides the point this really really helped me out and this is something that i actually figured out on my own by playing around i played around for years this is something that i've been doing since i was i would say about 17 18 years old and i'm 30. so this was a long time ago discovering this technique and then once i discovered it i discovered the perfect products for it as well that combination changed my life it really did i'm not the first to come up with this technique i'm sure someone did before me i am sure about it i'm not gonna claim that i have seen videos after i was doing this technique already uh like wayne goss made a video like that um similar technique i was like what the hell wayne goss is doing this oh look at that that's so cool like i was so excited that he was showing his audience that trick that i was already doing like i was like look at me go but again i'm sure i'm not the first but anyways i'm rambling at this point i really hope this helped you guys out thank you so much for watching please subscribe if you want more tips and tricks like this like this video share it with your friends and family so they can become alley cats too please join the kitty litter and turn on the notifications so you know when i post i post every friday and wednesday and thank you so much for watching i love you guys [Music] bye [Music]
