The Application Was Unable to Start Correctly | Fix 0xc0000142 Error in Windows 10/11

hello everyone and welcome to learn tag in this short video I'll show you guys how you can fix this kind of error when you are trying to run an application on Windows 10 or windows 11. so this application error will show you this message the application was unable to start correctly and this is the code of the error click ok to close the application this error can happen with any kind of application that you are running it can be a game application or your office application etc etc I'll show you in this video two methods which can really help you to fix this kind of problem the first method is to make sure that the region is correctly chosen so for that we need to go ahead search and we open control panel so we just type here control panel and once you see control panel you just click over it once in order to open now we view by small icons here so from the options here we choose small icons and now let's find region in this case is here so once you find the region you click over it in order to open now it will show this settings regarding region we choose administrative here and now we click over change system local and now we should check the current system local in my case is English United State which actually is not the correct one because I am in Germany and it should be German Germany so first let's try this and you check if your application is able to run you'll need to do a restart of PC if you are going to change the region like I did in this case I'll choose later for now and I will close this now the second method is by using CMD so for that we just go as search and we type CMD once you see common prompt you click with the right of the month over it and then you choose a run as administrator it's important to choose run as administrator because we are going to apply some commands which will require administrator rights do you want to allow this application to make changes to your device yes now the command that we need to apply are those you can find them on the description below so just copy them and you paste on CMD after you have copied there in order to paste on CMD you click with the right of the mouse and then it will show over here so you type this command you press enter now you copy the second command and we paste that again on the CMD on the same way by just pressing the right button of the mouse here we are now those are the two commands that we need to apply here and we press enter now normally this second method should fix your applications and if we just do a test TeamViewer for example was not running and now it's opening on my PC another thing that you may try is to open task manager and to disable the startup programs in this case for example there are many startup applications that I have you can disable them all and you try if this will fix your problem there are some people that have said that this method also helped them to fix this kind of problem so those were some of the methods that you can try in order to fix the problem that you may have when the application is not able to run please leave on the comments below if those methods worked for you and if there is another method please share it with us so everyone can fix this kind of problems thanks a lot for watching and please do not forget to subscribe wish to you all the best thank you
