The $50,000 Scam

hey how's it going boys what's going on wanted to tell you the story today about when i entered a 50 000 fall guys tournament now you guys probably all know fall guys by now it's like the new hot game basically mario party battle royale instead of what mario party currently is come on nintendo just do literally anything else so i found out this tournament was happening and i reached out to twitch and i was like hey can i play and they were like and they looked at my channel and they're like and then they looked at everybody else who asked and they're like okay sure we'll let you in so it was me and 19 other captains and you had to pick a team with four people on it 80 players total everybody on the team had to be like a twitch streamer or something and so the first person i asked to join my team was mango mango's like my favorite smash player he's good at a bunch of video games and i knew he was really good at fall guys so i thought if i could get mango maybe i could win this whole entire event so i said to mango hey do you want to join my team for fall guys i'm a captain and he said i'll think about it and i'll get back to you and i was like cool and just so you guys know there's a few other captains 20 total like i said people like xqc nick marks and then clint stevens now i've had like a bit of a history with clint i'm like the worst runner on my team other than ludwig obviously that was way way way worse than me thank you thank you for this so i reached out to him and and uh and he reached out to me about this event about how it worked because we were both captains and really didn't know what's going on and he asked me he asked me straight up he said ludwig who did you invite and i told him honestly i just invited mango and i was gonna think about the rest of my team and i said clint who'd you invite and he said no one and that was it that was the whole conversation we had and then the next day mango reached out to me and he said i reached the cool kids club clint invited me to his team after i told clint i invited mango he invited mango and he cocked me is clint here i'm going to give that guy an earful when he joins why because of what he did oh yeah he cocked me you got a good old-fashioned [ __ ] dude it's not good to get good old-fashioned cucks mango do you know what it's like to get cucked once or twice it's not good not a fan i know zane's been cucked huh oh well well what do i want to talk to you what's up clint what's up what are you why did you [ __ ] me what do you mean you know what i'm talking about well i knew i couldn't let him be on your team so i saved him so you punched me you cucked me know your place ludwig oh my god oh my god he stole mango away from me the only person i wanted on my team was gone and so i was kind of hurt at this point betrayed and i didn't really know who to pick but i had to pick that day so i just reached out to the tried and true people i know my friends atriox stands in conor they weren't really that good at fall guys but they were down and i knew that no one would steal them away from me one two three four we are vocals [Laughter] so going into it i wasn't really thinking we were gonna be the top five team honestly i didn't really think we had a good chance of winning it at all but that's when the ghost happened now you should know a story about atrialk this is back when i was a smaller streamer and i played minecraft on stream and aatrock never played minecraft before probably because he's 30 and he's just too old for it so i played with him and i told him i said to him his first day ever playing minecraft if you hold q over lava it'll do an animation that heals you i will say if you uh are next to lava and you do press q facing it it does put out your hands it's like an action it's like an emo almost and that can like warm up [ __ ] thing he was so mad he spent the next week watching every single minecraft video playing about 10 hours a day until he was the best minecraft player i've ever seen i'm not kidding you if he kept it up he'd probably be better than dream and so when i invited him to the fall guys event he did the same thing he called himself the ghost and only wore one skin and he played a hundred hours of fall guys in two weeks you guys know that it's 40 hours a week for a full-time job you also know that atriox already has a full-time job yeah he works in nvidia he was the guy who did the marketing for the 30 90 the 30 90 from nvidia i'm not sponsored by nvidia but i'm hoping if i say the 30 90 enough that ajak will get me a free 30 90 from nvidia amd yuck ew gross anyway think about it so i was feeling a little bit better going into tournament day atriac the ghost was really good i saw conor win three in a row like the same week and i know stan is playing a lot too and i actually felt pretty confident myself i didn't think we were going to win the whole thing because there were some pretty formidable people like xqc had been playing hundreds of hours i'm not i'm not wigging he's 20 points above okay little wig is a youtube speed run the weird champ andy ludwig book actual gel in his hair before the stream starts okay okay he loses by default okay stop blow dries his hair in the morning can you believe this [ __ ] he blow dries it i do blow dry my hair in the morning but i only had one goal going into the event one thing on my mind not winning not top five not podium nothing like that all i wanted to do was beat clint's team because he cocked me and stole mango from me i wanted vengeance and i even put a bit of money behind it i'll put up a rat what's a wreck a thousand uh yeah thousand whoever places higher one rack on the table for whoever does better and so going into it that's all i cared about now the way the tournament worked was simple there were 20 teams total you'd play six games like six rounds everybody play one game every single round and then you'd get points you got one point for qualifying to round one two points for qualifying through round two three points for round three and so on you also get like points for crowns yada yada and then after six rounds they'd start eliminating whoever had the least amount of points total and so our first round started and our first game started and then this happened can we get one two three four that would be so sick okay he has missed imagine all right imagine for the first game it before well we'd love this scene i wonder where you at connor we need you i'm right behind you come on grief someone so connor gets fourth i'm going to do it jump four for the top four nobody we got top four spots it was the most magical moment it's like everybody connected we all held hands and walked through together and it was an omen that today would be our day so we got first as a team i lost oh i didn't lose and then the ghost didn't qualify on the second game i mean he put a hundred hours in how are you gonna not qualify on that one really and so you know it wasn't the worst thing in the world because we ended up bouncing back that's second place for that i'm cutting off this little island for me oh [ __ ] it there's people go slow it's just us it's just us there's only two below it's literally just us is it whatever the blue guy is you have to hear that blue guy and you win that's it you got him you got it yeah i just connor and then who's we got 40 points for that and we were feeling pretty good and then round two started and we didn't do so hot oh roll call one two three four three four we are mobile zero oh i got knocked that's bad all the way down are you fine just recover covering i got knocked oh [ __ ] boys boys boys you guys aren't going to come out i'm gonna oh what the [ __ ] oh no i was next damn two of us made it oh my god that's right all right one second boys it's all right we'll bring it back take care take some time look it's still early in this event take take a breather we ended up not even making the finals and we ended up not getting the crown either but it's okay because we bounced back on our third round with everybody making the finals and we had a perfect game my dream four make it to finals it's round six the finals it's the tail grab one we just [ __ ] the chief grieved four of five people one guy quits halfway through we all take our pants off we're dicks out we're having a great time they stand up 100 slow clap they become a porn state next day grab your robot hit that center uh you miss yeah oh oh get that ball out of here get this one ball out of here you got it you got it guys i got it i shot oh my god hold on hold on hold on come back baby good game let's go this is my dream now it's tail tag let's get our dicks out oh i'm sweating holy [ __ ] hrack and i had so many [Music] ever he's getting off he's getting off he sucks go high go high grab him he thinks we're going to chase you down but we're not he's so mad all right get off hold him all right now get back up bring your jump back on if you trust me stop him stop him leveling is he going around we're good you're going i'm just staying over here oh but this is when we started to notice something certain people on the leaderboard had way more points even though they played the same amount of games and some people had way less points even though they were winning crowns and we realized if you've ever played fall guys you have a bunch of games that lead up to the final round in the final rounds where you win the crown and so you can either have the final round like on game four or game five or game six and so let's imagine you play perfect everybody on your team qualifies to the finals and you win the crown if you win the crown on the fourth round you only get 38 points if you play perfect and there's five rounds you get 50 points and then if you play perfect and there's six rounds you get 67 points and we were like damn there's like a lot of luck involved here not only do we have to play perfect we have to hope we get the perfect amount of rounds but we ignore it and we just keep playing our game and everything's going great the hexagon would be [ __ ] nice we'll be goaded but i think it's okay golden egg [Music] pineapple [ __ ] up [Music] let's go let's go we end up being like one of the top five teams by the time our elimination round comes round seven and the good news is clint's team was barely top ten my whole goal going into this beat clint's team was almost assuredly going to happen i was going to win a thousand dollars and get my revenge and our first elimination happens we need a little bit more space once it goes forward three ready we make it through easy we play great and clint's team barely makes it through into the top ten second elimination it goes from top ten down to top five five teams eliminated i hate this one so just they're an advantage to giving conor the dub is that yeah it's a tiebreaker [Music] we play great make it through easily clint's team barely makes it through that's all you christopher can't grab it yet need a quick job chris got it [Applause] too easy dude but now this is where things get interesting there are only five teams left but two qualify to the finals so only 40 of the teams will make it through three are going to get cut right here and everybody's really close except for clint's team who are all the way at the bottom and i know here that there's a lot of luck involved in how many rounds you get but as long as we play well win get the crown then we'll beat clint's team at the very least which was my goal and so our elimination round starts on round nine we crush our first game everybody makes it through we crush our second game everybody makes it through and we even crush our third game everybody makes it through but the fourth game is the finals and like i said earlier that means that even if we play perfect we're going to be 12 points behind someone who has five rounds and 29 points behind someone who has six rounds just because the way the scoring works but it's okay as long as we win this crown we should beat clint's team and we might even make it to the finals let's just play our best all four of us it was jump showdown now i haven't talked too much about my skill but jump showdown is my worst game in the finals i feel pretty good about fall mountain i love hexagon it's the best game total but jump showdown is kind of like in and out of the circulation i never played it in a big secret that i never told anyone i never actually won a crown on it before but it was okay because atrialk and stance were pros it was their best game this is a rough i had to cross because i was gonna get him i got punched uh i trust you guys uh you are that's the part yeah it stands you're in vlog territory yeah you're dead go for it go for it you can still make it oh all right he bought me all right connor focus up yeah they got eliminated first they were the first ones to be eliminated on our team so it was down to me and connor me and connor clutching out this fourth round final jump showdown my a button keeps on [ __ ] up oh i died i got knocked down no and i choked the jump a 50 000 jump i missed it i've never been good at jump showdown but when everything was on the line i choked and then i looked at the scores we were not gonna be top two but not only that clint's team had a fifth round perfect finals and so not only did we not qualify into the finals we lost to clint's team by four points after all the work we did they ended up beating us by four points coming back on us they didn't end up winning because the other team had a six round perfect game and they had such a huge advantage but we were heartbroken we were all depressed that we didn't make it to the finals and that we lost to clint's team and clint immediately joined our discord call to roast us and make fun of us damn that's a shame that's a shame [ __ ] yourself clint wins two in a row and you guys missed by four [Music] that's tough that's tough that definitely doesn't happen to anyone else either hey let's uh go win it go away go win it go away focus up go win don't worry [Music] objection but i got a weird dm the next day and it told me to check out this reddit post and it got a bunch of down votes at the time but it had this weird conspiracy that clint's team actually got more points than they should have and we should have been ahead of them and so you know i i didn't really know much about it but i asked one of my friends who worked on the twitch rival staff the people were running the tournament to look into it and so he did and this is what he said well this sucks but thanks for bringing it up the post is correct one of our admins scored the team incorrectly the two players who were eliminated from game three were given plus three points as if they qualified for game three if that makes sense then the resulting plus six discrepancy means that the four point advantage they had would have resulted in them placing fourth place behind my team i would have been third place beating clint stevens team now i didn't want it to be a whole thing because at the end of the day it's not like clint's team meant to do this it was just some guy who counted wrong and i counted wrong a lot i got a d plus an honors pre-calc anyway after it all was said and done i actually beat clint's team i got more points over the course of event even though at the time when i choked the jump it seemed like we lost but it was too late i wasn't going to change anything clint's team already made the finals and their twitch rivals people kind of sorted it out everybody who was snubbed got the money they should have received and they actually made more amends than they should have really but that was the day that i choked a jump and lost us fifty thousand dollars and also got scammed out of two thousand dollars good day all in all a fun event i'm pretty sure they're doing another fall guys event soon so i guess i'm gonna have to bring the ghost out of retirement 39 30 90 30 90 30 90 and have rtx on when i win that entire event
