The 5 Issues In Life Matthew 6:25-33

hospitals at this time especially in our central florida area we pray that you'll be with those that are taking care of them our nurses our doctors our aides the technicians just pray god that you'll be with the equipment that keeps the air clean and flowing we just ask god that you would just help us to continue to go forward we know that the power to stop it all is within your hands and i implore you to do so god that you would intervene in this process but we know that it's more than just about the physical the spiritual condition of our country and our world is an all-time low we all need to look to you because to you and only with you you can change things and make things better but you require us to humble ourselves to repent from the evil that we've done and god even times when we think we haven't done wrong we've done things to really cause harm to you and to your people you know all things those things done in secret those things don't publicly god nothing gets past you father we know that you love us because we are still here you haven't given up on us that's why you sent your son we thank you for the power of that tremendous sacrifice jesus christ we thank you for the blood that was shed that gives us the opportunity to to repent god and to be forgiven for those sins and those challenges in our past life we ask as we go forward in this service that all that is done will be to your glory and to your praise and to your honor we ask that you'll be with our song leaders and those that are serving be with our minister as he comes before us to give us the word and just help us in every area of our lives father we need your help this world needs your help we pray especially at this time for those in haiti this small country seems to suffer so much god but we ask that you would just bless the people there bless those that are serving just just help them god as they go through this process we love you and we thank you and we offer this prayer in jesus name and exhaling that's a reason to be happy you didn't sleep outdoors last night that's a reason to be happy you drove over here you didn't have to uber a lift yeah you got to hooped it but it made it that's a reason to be happy you got clothes on your back you got shoes on your feet you got food on your table and you know my god is able that's a reason to be happy now i don't i don't need a lot of primers like some of y'all you got to give you a hundred reasons then you go oh yeah but i know god is a good god i don't need a household i need two or three people who know like i know that god is a good god and uh sometimes the reminisce in the verbiage of our ancestry uh it's not a good english it does not prove that you're academically and scholastically achieved but sometimes i like to go old school and say he showed up he is yeah show guard is you know i know i know that's not sophisticated and i know we have a a large array of people on the internet who are trying to go in the chat room right now to correct me but ain't no correcting me when you're talking about god talking to god there's no language god don't understand uh sometimes you ain't even got to speak sometimes they say you just harm and the devil don't know what you're talking about so i i just come to the place that when i'm talking about god i don't have to speak in acceptable english vernacular i'm glad that god is a universal god and he's good and folks he's good all the time for those who are regular south siders you know how we opened every service if you would be so beneficially kind help brother linda by opening that when we talk with god no breath is lost when we walk with god no strength is lost when we wait for god no time is lost and when we trust in god your soul will never ever be lost it is um with great joy and pleasure that we welcome not only those who are here in the house in the sanctuary a part of the ecclesia but those who are watching online as you know by now we've had difficulties uh but we've worked them out getting them still we got new equipment that's almost here and in the interim our i.t team has done a phenomenal job a couple of weeks from now you're going just they tell that's outside we we like to celebrate and mark another year uh folks uh when god gives you another year you'll be glad about it and you'll be thankful wow i never understood this whole accident axiom uh don't ask a woman how old she is uh well if i wanted to know i could google you but abstract to that you ought to just be happy whatever god let you get to be you may not you might look older than what you are but it's good to be here however bad you look you look better today than laying in a casket uh so so just learn to be glad and happy harrington moses and i hear a young fella so he don't mind it's his birthday in august michaela dozier i saw her uh this morning somewhere young michaela um rattler she is having uh uh a birthday this month kamoria kamari felton my little god baby is here having a birthday this month i think she's about nine or ten get along there caleb leave and that mitchell pray for sister.net having some medical maladies pray for her april may lauren richardson oh yeah oh lauren got a birthday uh glendora skinner now you know she's everybody's favorite but she's my number one favorite g-mar glendora skinner uh gerard brown senior skyla white young skyla she getting four or five years old now yolanda adams has a birthday uh yvonne davis bishop's wife birthday in august ron jones my man ron nathaniel holmes ladonna johnson one of our satellite members from michigan has a birthday kaylyn jones young kaitlyn these young peoples monk happy birthday tyler cotton torey cremity he must be celebrating no no he's at the end of the month i know when he is around my anniversary uh aurelia traitor that's dr byrne's daughter happy birthday erica warren and this month fan versus johnny and jonathan came the good news my sister sweets is out the hospital still road to recovery uh scared me she scared me i don't i i have one sister and baby sister and been with me for all her life 50 some odd years she ain't been with me all my life i was here a while but uh but i'm glad she's home and pray for pray for my sister and uh and brother johnny they just had another advert prince ron and rosita haynes and wesley and pamela leonard ain't that a good anniversary month yeah 40 [Applause] 41 years for me and uh this month and oh they're getting sweeter and sweeter as the days go by oh what a joy between my love and i i found sunshine on a cloudy day when it's cold outside i got the month of may some of you might say what can make him feel this way yeah boy it's it's good when you got a man that's good to you and know how to talk that talk amen amen the show sound good yeah sure sound good we just thankful to make lord let's make it on the august 30 41 years and uh i'm just thankful i know you're thankful now beloved uh sad news shane thompson and safira trying to move back to chicago i'm praying against it uh she informed me that they leaving me and uh trying to leave me and and uh leave us and uh so we're praying for them but against the move so if you can help just get richer but we we definitely pray for our members but we don't ever pray for people to leave pray for the feature family sister michelle is gravely ill michelle theatre hospice has given her a very brief time talking with chris and diane and corey and the family they need our prayers it's just diana's courses in georgia with chris and diana uh her health is faded very fast and talked to them often talked to diane this morning and they want us to pray with them for them so we know what what happens i'm talking about life today it's part of life and you uh you have to deal with those kind of things but we pray one for another that god would be beneficially kind and show them favor and we always pray in god's will it is this will that's appointed on the man wants to die but we just ask for god's comfort in the confines of his will so uh chris and diane would certainly appreciate it her grandchildren corey and others would appreciate it and i know that god even in the midst of a storm somebody like me knows i've been through some storms but i know that god when he can't get you over it he still will get you through it and uh so pray for them at this challenging difficult moment in our some of you this year been through it some of you still going through it now i was informed that today we have uh some more videos to be produced in celebration commemoration of i dear beloved adrian skinner those who've been asked were supposed to shoot some stuff after church i don't know where the shooters are i know they shot some stuff yesterday i'm assuming there's still some stuff to be done today so just um i'm assuming that that's still on so after church uh govern yourselves quarterly i've been informed outside we were because of the delta variant uh that's still prevalent and uh we're still asking people to get vaccinated uh it's abundantly clear 99 of people who dealing with that are not vaccinated and it's perplexing to me when i hear people say i don't know what's in the vet you don't know what's in no medicine you take it okay when you start knowing you go up then get medicine everything that aspirin you bought you don't know what's in there what are you talking about you don't know what you know what's in them barbecue ribs you eating that that ain't stopping you from eating them you you know what's in them collard greens but you you you're killing yourself slowly every day and so much you don't want to shop that's the words of my grandma my child please uh you need to go get a shot okay i've been trying to be nice to me and the bishops and the bishop's so nice because i had really in my heart nobody without a vaccine come in here but they told me i couldn't do that and he told me how bad i sound like i really care what i say but uh yeah you preaching you don't want to come across like that i don't well lord help us and it's free folks it's free now if the people would have told you you couldn't get the shot and it was a hundred dollars you'd be marching like your march all the time from that oh no look they trying to kill us they ain't got to kill you you kill yourself they going to kill you people do not commit homicide when you already going to commit suicide i didn't preach already you committing suicide what's somebody gonna kill you for catch a case when you gonna kill yourself come on childhood folks get the shot get the shot i got the shot i got both my arms and my legs i look better now than i look before you need to get the shot amen now until the delta variant has run its course we still will exercise judicial caution so we be wise and prudent in our dealings so good to have all of you here let me move expeditiously i never planned to be in delaware alone uh but it's good to have sister mcclendon here from jacksonville every week the church is continuing good to have you sister mcclendon from jacksonville i'm getting a lot of jacksonville jaylen jackson's here from jacksonville somewhere her and a mama i saw them oh yeah i see him we just getting folk every and uh uh lord take me away from there um if you would be kind enough beloved to consider with me a passage of scripture it's very familiar to those who have significant tenure in the body of christ matthew chapter 6 our rendezvous point would be for the brevity of time i just want to start around verse number 28. and i will incorporate the entirety of matthew 6 in my simonix soliloquy but for emphasis sake i only read verse chapter 6 beginning at verse number 28. so why do you worry about clothing consider the lilies of the field how they grow they neither tall nor spin and yet i say unto you even solomon in all of his glory was not arrayed as one of these now if god so closed the grass of the field which is today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven will he not much more clothe you oh you of little faith therefore do not worry saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink or what shall we wear for all these things the gentiles seek for your heavenly father knows that you are need of all of these things and here's god's remedy since you need stuff he says seek ye first the kingdom of god and all this righteousness and all these other things shall be added unto you if you smile and sit down you know what i just want to talk to y'all briefly about here and beyond the five issues of life right there in the text you don't have an astute biblical eye for what i see in the text but right here in the text i'm going to teach and preach on how to deal with the five issues of life bless we are today beloved south side and beyond to read from the pen of the son of alphaeus du duplistically known as matthew and levi in the scriptures matthew of course is one of the 12 cabinet members one of the 12 confidants and consultants of jesus that we commonly refer to as the twelve disciples matthew matthew was privileged to record in this chapter the sermon when i believe that jesus was at his very best it's called the sermon on the mount matthew 5 matthew 6 matthew 7 in the theological circles are called the sermon on the mount he deals with the ecstasy of christianity and the eschatology of his second return the sermon is powerful it's palliative it's preaching it's pronunciation it's prophecy it's persuasive and has all the principles that will govern our lives i want you to note though in the sermon on the mount matthew 5 matthew 6 matthew 7 slap dab in the middle is the sixth chapter it's a gospel sandwich matthew 5 and matthew 7 is the bread the chapter 6 is to meet i wish i had a church in here in chapter 6 of matthew's gospel jesus informs us of the art and the essence of life and folks you better adapt quick fast in a hurry all of us got to deal with the issues of life james chapter 4 verse 14 james declared asked a retort question what is your life james answered and said it's butter vapor he says here today and not gone tomorrow a vapor can be here today and gone today you see let me take a moment if you will if you allow me some extra genetical liberty let me take a moment and cut this up so you can swallow it lice f l-i-f-e if you drop the l if you drop the e you're left with if i wish i had a church in here life slap dab in the middle is if because life often is about the chances and the choices that you and i make if is a conditional word it's suppositional in nature because much of your life is dependent on if you do the right thing i would share the church in here oh who was it that said if i woulda shoulda coulda all your life and mine might have turned out a little bit different oh well y'all still ain't got it you gotta be over 60 now tyrone davis said if i could turn back the hands of time oh when i do a perusal through the bible when i flip through the rolodex of the scripture i find how jesus and god capitalize on life by using that little word if in matthew chapter 16 verse 24 jesus said if any man will come after me he must deny himself take up my cross and follow me john chapter 12 verse 32 the lord said if i be lifted up from the earth i'll draw all men unto me john chapter 15 verse number 7 the bible says jesus declared if ye abide in me and my words abide in you then the bible says ask what you will and it'll be done unto you the bible says in romans 10 and 9 if you confess your with your mouth the lord jesus and believe in your heart that god raised him from the dead ye shall be saved i wish i had a church in here second corinthians chapter five verse number one if this earthly house of this tabernacle shall be dissolved we do have another building one not made with hands but eternal into heaven second corinthians 5 17 the bible says if any man be in christ he is a new creature all old things passed away behold all things become new galatians 6 and 1 the bible says if any man is overtaken in a fault ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness consider yourselves lest ye also be tempted galatians 63 the bible says if any man think of himself to be something when he is nothing he deceives himself galatians six and nine the bible says let us not grow weary and well doing we shall reap if we faint not first john chapter one verse number nine if we confess our sins and god is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness first john preach brother leonard first john chapter 2 verse number one if any man's sin we have an advocate with the father christ the righteous judge revelations chapter 3 verse number 20 behold jesus said i stand and i knock at the door if any man open the door i'll come in and suck with him and he's something life is about that word if where you end up in eternity and how happy you are down here is predicated on if you follow the commandments of jesus christ i don't want to be long because the holy spirit about to show up here and y'all ain't gonna help me but i just got the inkling something is running up and down my spines giving me the uh insight that somebody back home is being blessed i don't know if anybody here been but i believe somebody is sitting in their living room driving their car somebody is watching on a big screen and was about to make a bad decision but until we talk about the five issues of life so let me let me do this beloved let me trail the tapestry of this text put it under the crucible of investigation in the personal privacy of your praying ground i need to give you a homework assignment i'm tired of doing all the work every sunday you need to put some skin in the game christ the son of god christ the savior of the world christ the builder of the church christ the one who the church bears his name the sovereign one the inerrant one the eternal one in this beautiful sermon on the mount in your leisure read the entirety of matthew 6 you'll get the insight on the five issues of life the lord in the text addresses the common denominator for all homo sapiens on all seven continents on this celestial ball we call uh earth he deals with five things in the text and uh they have made me dangerous because the brothers then gave the preacher some technology i i don't have time you just got to read and connect some dots okay here's what he deals with in the text and then gives you an answer here are the five issues of life he talks about life he talks about life yeah okay i got to click too much here life your future that's one thing you gotta deal with your future you can't impact your past but you can do something about your future uh you know what else he talks about he talks about in the text you read it what you're gonna eat that's your food if you living and going to stay alive you got to get some nourishment that's an issue in life now most of us eat too much but you got to eat now here's a conundra in our culture we throw away more food than most people eat we can feed the world by what we throw away so it ain't a big issue for you and i we we probably have most of us sufficient adipose tissue i have people tell me what time i i sit there with a thesaurus and a dictionary when you preach look it up adipose tissue i can save you a trip it's called fact life that's your future what you eat the text talks about that that's your food and then the bible talks about your body that's your fitness these are the issues in life that means your health your fitness then he talks about what you put on that's your fashion and if you ain't careful you'll spend a whole lot of time worried about your fashion amen uh and then you know what the last issue right here in the text he talks about your treasure that's in verse 19. that's your finance you know what the issues of life are for all of us common denominator is our future our food our fitness our fashion and our finance i wish i had a church in here everybody in here is connected in these five issues everybody ain't married everybody ain't single everybody ain't got children everybody don't have a job but everybody if you're here today concerned about your future everybody if you're here today gotta be concerned about your food everybody concerned about their fitness that's your health you either take care of it you don't you either try to do better or you don't you don't con duncan donuts a christmas cream or you don't preach brother and then we all concerned about what well wow you got to wear something if you got good sense somehow young people didn't get the memo quit going to walmart with your pajamas on preach brother leonard and quit showing the general public what your husband ought to be paying to see if you're scared say you're scared and then everybody whether you like it or not got to be concerned about finances it's not money that's gonna destroy you it's the love of money it's the misuse of money the misallocation of money am i doing all right and then if i had another one to drop it ain't in the text but it's sure part of life folk everybody got deal with folk lord don't take me there the five issues of life that i found in the text is future food fitness fashion and finance these are basic fundamental needs that all homo sapiens no matter what ilk you derive from no matter what precinct you live in you got to deal with these five issues and in the text he the coup de grace as he says you know how you deal with them see ye first the kingdom and all these things will be added unto you am i doing all right now he starts out cause i y'all believe it or not i'm i'm on the horn stretch in matthew 6 he starts teaching about the remedy before he states the problem because in the genesis of the chapter he talks about prayer and what most people don't understand at least on practice is when you're dealing with issues in life the first thing you need to do is learn how to pray you need to learn how to pray and i know it's good to have folk praying for you ain't that good but somewhere in your christendom you better learn how to pray for yourself because you asking some folk to pray for you that can't get one through okay the old folks used to say jesus on the main line tell him tell him what you want i i i'm glad i ain't got to go through i got some good bishops here always have i'm glad i got some good deacons i even got a praying mama boy and then like a friend mama y'all hear me but i'm glad i know how to get a hold of god for myself because there's some things i need to talk to god about i don't need you to know preach brother leonard you know he opens this chapter by teaching his disciples how to pray because part of the issues of life you got to deal with you gotta learn how to pray you gotta know when to hold them and know when to fold them you gotta know when to walk away and know when to run kendall rogers say you never count your money while you're sitting at the table there'll be timing of the counting when the dealing's done i came by to tell you today part of life issues is having the wisdom to know what you can and cannot do something about i noticed something brother keith my cousin keith you know what i learned when jesus prayed in public it was real short but when he prayed in private it was real alone we do just the opposite we get in public and pray till the folk won't sit down and some folk get in private and pray another second see how quiet y'all got on me read it research is not when he prayed in public he often would say father i thank you but when he prayed in private like in matthew 25 the bible said he prayed all night long to sweat ran down like great drops of blood you know why people don't bother me because i'll be in the book make sure your private prayer exceeds your public prayer y'all got real quiet well i better give you some more ammo in matthew 6 the mortal prayer that prayer is 66 words preached brother leonard when hezekiah went to god to pray for more time turn his face to the wall he used 30 words and god gave him 15 more years it's not the length of your prayer is the strength of your prayer when peter was walking on the water he prayed 13 words and when he started to sink he took ten of them back and he said lord save me i came by to tell you see some of y'all majoring in long prayers god don't answer based on how long the prize is god answers based on how strong you need to learn how to pray part of the way to deal with all your issues in life and mind see see all this your future pray about your future now when you finish praying get up and do something about it you know you can't sit on the front porch tell my lord send me a job some of y'all said that's i you know i'm i'm from a different generation you're online looking for a job i go looking for me a job you know i'm going down looking everywhere i see there's a sign help want it i ain't going online i'm going in there sir you ain't got to check your email eyes here eyes here see sometimes you got to be active in your own issue prayer works and everything your future matter fact every time you eat you're bothered to thank god you know you're supposed to pray every time you eat you know what the bible says give thanks it don't have to be what you want to eat let me tell you something some of the best eating in the world is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is it not learn how to give god thanks and then learn to pray about your fitness your health do something about it but pray that lord give you good health not only that what you put on what you have be grateful you don't have to be a designer see i don't have to have designer clothes because god designed me and then your finance prayer works in all the issues of life i was i was reminiscing the other day i moved here a few years back i never forget my children were still at home and i had to fly for the first time i flew to preach in los angeles i've been to los angeles but i never preached that preaching at the figaro church of christ uh this not too long after 9 11 and my custom i asked the lord watch over pam jonathan and bree and mother and all of them while i was going that's the last i'm leaving but watch over my family i got on the plane and it's right after 9 11. and i saw ishmael and habib on the plane i saw the turbine around the head i heard a dialect i couldn't understand it's fresh after 9 11. we had 30 000 feet and i saw them keep going up in the bend overhead and i said lord i know i told you to watch over pam jonathan and brie but i need you at 30 000 feet i need you to steady the hand and then then then when i landed in los angeles uh the pilot says they've had some tremors los angeles has earthquakes i said now lord i knew i told you to watch over pam jonathan and brie in orlando lord i know i told you to meet me at 30 000 feet but now lord i need you to come to los angeles and i need you to keep this ground still for the next five days y'all still ain't got your shopping point i'm so glad that i serve a god that he can be in orlando watching over my family he could be at 30 000 feet on an airplane and he can meet me in los angeles because god is ubiquitous he's not only everywhere but he's everywhere at the same time oh yeah you better learn how to pray let me drop this and i'm done there's three quick alliteration i saw in the church you might see more you know what he did uh he gave them some information to deal with the issues of life see if the devil ever catch you ignorant see he takes you for a ride now it's jesus read it read it please enjoy read the text he brings up the five issues of life get right there everything in this text i pray your food's there your future's there your fashion is there your fitness there your finances there and really folk are there he gives them some information you know what the information so you don't worry about your issue he says now i'm going to tell you some information and then i'm going to give you a remedy the information was he says consider the birds of the air he says you haven't noticed that birds don't sow nor do they reap they don't store food yet god feeds them he started to give us listen folks he's trying to illustrate not only the birds then he says not only to consider the birds concealing the lilies of the flowers they don't worry about the clothes they're going to wear yet when they get up in bloom in the morning they look better than solomon and all his splendor the information is if god take care of birds and flowers don't you know he'll take care of you you need to know that some of us operating off of some bad information notice he lets you know the bears and the lilies don't do nothing and he takes care of him folks if he loves inanimate animals how much more does he love you what do you mean you worried about listen you're 52 years old you don't eat every day for 52 years and you worried about what you're going to eat now you might have to learn to eat buying a sausage shall i quiet y'all don't get now you know get on my nerves i don't eat that that's cause you ain't hungry hungry folk don't have the luxury of saying what they don't eat see that's a full belly talking preach brother i don't i don't eat dog meat you ain't hungry if you hadn't eat since friday dog meat light meat red meat black meat deer meat i'm a vegetarian no you're anything tyrion if you get hungrier see see our problem one of them is why we can't deal with the issues of life it's because we don't have the proper information god takes care of whom he's responsible for you need to know that if you're his child he's obligated to take that's some good information now he's not like your baby daddy preach brother leona we got men that don't take care of what belongs to them but god ain't that kind of father so in the text he lists brother son leader the five issues of life it's rather than text and then he gives them some information they need to know you ain't got to worry about none of these because god take care of birds and you take care of flowers my dear didn't know this text my dear said god take care of babies and fools y'all got to be over 60. i know people think folk used to say that anybody remember that and one of my grandmamas i ain't gonna call her name but johnny may leonard she would tell me look me straight now said boy god take care of babies and fools and you ain't no baby okay that they didn't leave that's what grandma melinda said well you ain't no baby i said well thank god he take him fools too if god take your birds and flowers and alligators and hippopotamus and elephants and giraffes and ants and flowers if god take care of them how much more that's some good information right then the text he lists your five issues in mind and then he gives him some information and you know what else he gave him after he had some information he started using the illustrations he said don't worry about your food don't worry about your clothes he said god has a way of providing when you don't even know how he's going to do it let god be god see see you worried at night how i'm going to do this how i'm going to do that do what you're supposed to do and then let the chips fall where they may amen somebody now if you're gonna do your party ain't gonna do his part but if you do your part don't worry about how god gonna be god let god take care of his business his illustration is the birds ain't planting nothing birds ain't got enough sense to say oh winter's coming i'm gonna save some of these worms they don't do that birds bird let's this is how great god is i'm trying to quit before technology came up with a gps system god gave the bird one to no winners winner and the fly and gave him a gps to know to fly south how do you know where it's going at and syria getting you lost and god been flying birds for a billion years and they never got lost preach brother leonard all you got to do is follow what god said he not only gives information he's thought i love this about jesus this is how i try to preach unless you take it the wrong way when you talk to people then give them an illustration so they can connect the dots preach brother leonard he said i'm gonna tell you all about these birds say they don't put up no worms no they don't do that he said listen they they don't know when we are coming they don't save for retirement they don't sit around so i'm going to be an old bird one one of these old wings nikki you saying two wings no no no no no no then he went illustrate the flowers flower don't get up in the morning and say i'm gonna bloom a certain color he's trying not only to give you information that you don't need to worry about stuff he got you then he illustrates how he take care of things that are lesser than you and then unless i belong not only he gave us information then he gives all of us the invitation so how do you deal then brother leonard it's in the text so how did he deal with the five issues of life that's common to us all all of these are coming to us uh your future your food your fitness your fashion and your finance so what he invites you to do one thing it's a one answer to deal with all issues seek ye first the kingdom the church eternity seek the kingdom of god and all this righteousness and then all these what things the issues of life because that's what homo sapiens are worried about our future our food our fashion our fitness and our finance all those things will be added if you seek him first are y'all curing me your issues in life in my issues of life are instantly eternally solved by the invitation just chase after the word seek means to actively look for you ain't gonna stumble on something you seeking you you you looking for too many of us seek things and hope we stumble on jesus and god says seek jesus and you are stumble on things the five issues of life are easily solved if we seek jesus and the kingdom and kingdom living ain't always easy preach brother leonard treating people right to treat you wrong that ain't always easy speaking to people you know lied on you that ain't always easy fighting temptations that in this mortal body that ain't always easy living right in a world that's going wrong that ain't always easy he didn't say it was easy he said it was right and all i'm saying is everybody listen to me today as somewhere in this journey you deal with the five issues of life the remedy the solution the father through jesus gave us all the information we need in the text he gave us the illustrations we needed in the text lastly but not leastly he gave us the invitation to solve the problem what more can you ask the man stakes the problem and the man solves the problem so let it be written so let it be done the grass whether the flower fadeth away but the words of god should stand forever beloved i want to invite you to this added brother how do i be a member how can i get my issues dealt with there's an invitation because of covet you know the restrictions we do not want a congregation of people down here but if you need or want to be baptized if you raise your hand deacon richardson and my other deacons will see to it that we reach you quick fast in a hurry if you have a prior request please write it down the attendants will get it to one of our shepherds as we close the service let me invite you to christ how do i come you hear it's audible you heard you hear about the good news of the death burial and resurrection of jesus you believe that with all of your heart you repent you turn from your ways of sin degradation and iniquity you verbalize you audibilize you confess as the bible says that he is the christ the son of god and then you must be not all be not need be it's imperative language is used you must be baptized in water submerged in water immersed in water covered in water for the remission of your sin that adds you to the church and there and there he will help you deal with the five issues of life if you're openly subject to the savior's invitation via baptism raise your hand if you have a confession or a prayer request jot it down whatever your scenario your situation we want to invite you now while we stand listen [Music] oh gee [Music] [Music] oh [Music] beloved time for us commemorate memorialize uh on the first day of the week through the lord's supper we remember the horrific price paid on cabaret for the sins of humanity it was our sovereign savior jesus who instituted this supper in the upper room at the last passover when he uttered and now we use those inscripted words do this in remembrance of me it was our lord who took a piece of unleavened bread who explained to his disciples that it represented his body he then took the fruit of the vine of the cup and he explained that the ruby red sparkling wine would be representative of his blood and he said do this in memorial a remembrance of me so now christians they have an obligation those of us who are members of the church that upon the first day of the week we remember through the partaking of the lord's supper what the lord did on calvary shall we pray father we're mindful glad and happy for this horrific sacrifice you made for the sins of humanity when you hung bled suffered and died two thousand years ago on a hill called cavalry we know that through the spillage of your blood you forgave our sins and you built the church we're thankful so now bless this bread and bless this cup and then oh lord bless our lay by our offering our tithe as we prepare to give to you blessed all that we do all pleasing and acceptable in your sight please lord bless every member of this church bless the leadership the discipleship the fellowship and the fellowship forgive us of our sins help us to be forgive us hide us bless us and keep us in jesus name amen i pray you've got a piece of unleavened bread i want to remind all of you who watch who yet cannot attend that we have a plethora of communion packets here at the building you can pick them up and when you come to the building please pick them up on your entry in take your unleavened bread with me take the fruit of the vine with me amen now it's time to give it's time to get happy it's time to keep say swift insecure keeps a running tab how much you given to the lord all year long or thinking about moving to chicago where she originally came to us from we pray that whatever decision you make shay it's a great decision um i don't have any other cards but i would like to say we we pray that you will continue to watch on wednesday nights we've seen the viewership rise over the over the last year and certainly at a high right now brother west gets a great great falling for wednesday night so if you take it easy you don't watch wednesday at least watch sometime during the week that's the beauty of being able to do that on a repeated basis with that thank you again be safe as you return home for those who are going to be doing the video you already got your instructions we're going to leave the building expeditiously after the prayer and after the song by one of only for the way that you take care of us in our five issues of life we just thank you for the way that you take care of everybody else in their issues of life father thank you for a great worship we thank you for our minister our brother our friend who delivered again from the word of god we ask you to continue to bless he and his family in his studies and his pursuit of trying to just deliver and disseminate the word thank you for all of us who are here we know father that with school and with other things going on in our life the issues of life become even more prominent but god be thanked you're still with us and you bless us at every step of the way with everything we have to do we appreciate those who are here we ask to keep us all safe as we return home give us father the things that we need help us not to be concerned help us not to be worried help us to be ever ever faithful and faithful in the fact that you are god and you're going to continue to bless and watch
