here it's our privilege to shepherd this congregation we'd like to welcome all of you here in town for the equip conference welcome we're glad you're here we are uh asking you to honor our facebook policy while you're inside the building our protocol is such that we are trying to mitigate any furtherance of the spread [Music] for you the leadership team here is vaccinated i'm thankful i'm glad to say that i just uh wish that you'll enjoy your time here today our services are a little short because of the protocols that we've set i do believe we have a guest speaker today and uh as possible as we go forward just like to uh mention just a couple of things why are you here if you have a prayer request please use one of these screen cards okay we'll uh won't have people coming up front we will have if you need one it should be someone in the back piece in front of you but fill this out and actually give it a rush in the back or even at that appropriate time somebody don't come and pick them up uh if you're here you hear something or if you decide you want to be baptized you can come forward and we will take care of that posting okay but just a prayer request please let us know glad to see you curtis anderson here he's been in the hospital for a little bit this week continue to pray for him that hypertension he's been dealing with since i've known him and god keeps him here he's not done with him yet so just i pray for he and laureen and their family pray for my daughter jennifer davis she was in the hospital i spent about seven hours with her on friday she has some intestinal and gastric problems so just pray for her healing but she is home and i appreciate that pray for sister johnson she lost her sister this week and the funeral will be this coming weekend this saturday and she'll be traveling to detroit michigan for that uh there are the requests good to see brother danny back in the loss of his son a couple weeks ago we need to be ready the question is are you ready are you ready the challenge before us we have the good news of jesus christ and we need to be continually sharing that with other people through jesus christ so i want you to just join in the scene even with your mask on and as we go forward we're going to be led in another song or two and then we'll begin our services okay well we need to pray i guess i should do that you are an awesome and loving god you are sovereign we know that there is nothing too hard for you we know that you love your children those of us that study your word and are amongst your people can testify after the fact that you love your children you don't really give us the true consequences of our sins but you you want us to do things to bring glory to your name because we are your people as your word tells us in second chronicles if we're your people we need to repent we're called by your name there are certain things that we need to do in order for you to heal hear us and we do that this morning father we confess our sins our shortcomings our hesitancies our lack of courage we need your help god to do those things [Music] and the success of that we pray that you would bless those that are traveling keep them safe be with those that are suffering for one reason or another those that are continued to grieve help them father as they mourn for the lost beloved we ask god you would just help us those that are struggling with health issues hypertension just mental due rest during these tough times these last two years those are looking for jobs those that need to change their vocation just be with it it just help us to know that you are there you do hear it but you work the way you work we can't understand it but we know that you love us and we thank you now offer this prayer amen troubled water jesus i'm fishing for witnesses i don't know why i got a fish jesus my heart [Music] yes jesus he's our name all i got to do is take a panoramic view in my mind when i look over my shoulders and see where the lord brought me from everybody [Music] uh thank you to all of you and we're getting more and more coming back every week and particularly those who are watching us on live facebook south side youtube south side uh website 2021 uh for those and we have a number of people who are here who intended to quit it was exhilarating exciting informative and provocative all at the same time and i'm glad it's over because [Music] uh culminated on last night and i want to thank uh it was highly highly successful for the whole week and folks were blessed today at the culmination uh equipment 2002. one of my keynote speakers who's a good friend of mine uh at the same time well first before i introduce dr rose another great friend of mine is here a great preacher from dallas texas terrell texas uh jack kevin his lovely life because he hadn't paid for the roof [Music] and just applaud my brother my friend his lovely wife uh sister vicky bless you and god keep him blood god slide on us today and the person of dr tony wrote he's here from abilene texas the ministry church of christ he's minister emeritus uh the new minister the great minister uh young powerful preacher ian nicholson oh there is his lovely wife and daughter here and dr roach came to the conference and brought i think all the leadership pretty much all the elders and their wives came uh to support him and be a part of the equipment and i hope you'll come back uh to equip we are excited about that dr tony roach is no stranger to our he's one of those uh theologians and academic scholastic giants in our fellowship we have the education to be cozy and comfortable we're pretty good friends and i have been blessed by my association with dr roach where uh so many people's lives have been blessed and edified now we have a policy at south side uh not the roach that uh you can't put a man all week and it's a little more um [Music] [Music] we pray for them this is saturday in detroit please pray for eunice and johnny uh johnson in their travels andreas thomas nephews has complications from surgery his name is luke we have some new [Music] great spirit welcome and we have a beautiful family who also is coming to the south side and they came from detroit michigan we get indeed chicago they woke up one day yeah and they they got good sense yeah no harm to abilene but people are retired yeah they're coming here this is one friendly i don't know come to us from the liberty city church of christ and michigan and they live in davenport florida would you all just stand in the church and welcome you to the third right i am so amazed everywhere i go i was at the computer i see you on tv right and uh on youtube and uh i don't know them but they know me and they've been watching for the last year we're just glad to have them again there's work to be done and fun to be had see we're into church around here we have fun and we have a good ministry i was telling him that he's married we're gonna put him on the marriage cruise right his eyes got biggest oh man that's what i'm talking about so it's some fun to be here and some work to be done now beloved [Music] yeah i i i i it's just you can ask a song leader for one yes it's like asking a preacher to be two minutes you know i i i understand i got it a verse verse all right first and a half of a song but two songs all right [Music] oh praising praising him i love to praise him i love to pray oh [Applause] [Music] my [Music] never let me down [Music] hallelujah [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] amen this church reminds me so much of the ministry congregation you believe in worshipping and you believe in worshipping in spirit and in truth it is brother wesley and i talk about this church and our congregations all the time and of course we know about this church this church has been involved with our ministry and ministry for years and i am so thankful that we have the privilege today to come and to be with you on this lord's day morning it's good to see several people in the audience that we've known over the years i'm delighted to be with brother leonard and sister leonard they are good friends we have been sowing into each other's ministry for a number of years as a matter of fact this congregation and the ministry congregation have so many similarities for example he established this congregation i don't remember i established the ministry congregation in 1979 we have worked together he trained elders i trained a good friend but he is a renowned gospel preacher he's known all over this brotherhood and everywhere he goes he make this church look good and i just like to watch him i mean he is an operator he knows how to work with brothers and sisters in christ did you notice how he was working with the media team he said gentlemen and they immediately began to respond you can tell a trained church i was watching the gentleman at the door i think he's a deacon somebody came to the door he ran over there and opened the door for him even the song leaders are trained all of that has to do with an evangelist who knows how to train a church and listen for a church to stay consistent and developing over a period of time that's a sure sign that you have a man of god who's trained uh in the word of god and not only trained to preach but to train to counselor he is a consular certified counselor i tell you what you have a great man of god here at the south side church of christ and he could not do any of that without his lovely wife i like to give love deposit let's give him a love deposit ladies and gentlemen so what we do is we sow into each other's ministry when i have an opportunity i will sow into his congregation he sows into our congregation for example revelation has come to our congregation several times and they come to our congregation and they always make the man of god and the eldership look good revelation is outstanding and i know that y'all appreciate them as well and then last night i had a chance to uh hear rain i think y'all are raining on people right now outstanding and listen when you have uh choruses and uh that travel one of the things that's very important is that the chorus have respect for the leadership and the eldership and especially the man of god and revelation has always come to mind the street and one of the first things they do they acknowledge the minister and the eldership let's get revelation and reign a love deposit of course the uh equip conference was out of sight i wish i had time to talk more about that but i want to know want you to know that i have with me the eldership and their wives from the ministry church of christ i'm going to ask them to stand all of the elders and their wives from ministry church of christ please stand and then all of the finance team the finance team and their family please stand amen thank you are you talking about training i guarantee you they all train they know exactly what to do see churches have to be trained you don't just come into a church and preach you have to train the church brother jason winston the man who trained me taught us all of those kinds of things and then i have my oldest daughter uh and her husband greg in the audience greg is an elder at the university church of christ in cleveland ohio and with him he has sister barnes and her daughter who's also an elder's wife we're going to ask them to stand please and when you are training churches you got to train preachers we've trained and sent out over 20 something preachers and one of my uh beloved sons in the faith we have a kindred relationship see kingdom relationships is different than a son in the gospel a kingdom relationship is what paul talks about in first corinthians chapter 4 and verse 14 and follow i have my successor the evangelist of the ministry church of christ his wife and his daughter right here brother ann nickerson stan let's get him a love deposit give them a love deposit and then i saved the best for last i have my wife in the audience her name is candice you can look up candace in the eighth chapter of the book of acts uh candace the queen uh of ethiopia was served by the eunuch and the bible says that he was in charge of all of her treasures sister roach is in charge of all of my treasures i'm going to ask her to stand sister rose this is my lovely wife and you know you got to do these preliminaries so let me hasten to say we welcome all visitors in our audience we want you to know if you're visiting the south side church of christ you're not only uh honored guests but you're a guest of all of the people here and we appreciate you gracing this audience with us on this morning and to those of you who are worshiping with us online we want you to know we really appreciate your presence and there are a lot of people who who chime in to south china church of christ y'all need to know that and you know why because the church is alive it's alert it's vigilant and we appreciate that all of you who are worshiping with us online now let me hasten to get to our lesson uh i want to just stop here and turn my timer on uh i want to make sure we stay within the time frame can y'all say a man what we're going to talk about today is called the seven laws of sowing and reaping faith turn to your neighbor and say that the seven laws of sowing and reaping faith the seven laws of sowing and reaping faith now i want y'all to interact with me as we get into this and i want y'all to know that this is one of the twos of thinking in the gods love bank program there are 15 systematic spiritual twos of thinking in the gods love bank program see folk need twos of thinking to work through their spiritual development and there are 15 core values of jesus the most successful human being who's ever lived one of the twos of thinking is called the seven laws of sowing and reaping faith now i want you to know brother leonard that that that uh tool of thinking is a whole workshop i mean it's a gospel revival and you all know what i'm talking about right now so i want y'all to get involved with me and we're going to quote these seven laws of sowing and reaping faith here it is what you see is what you say what you say they know them all right let's say it come on what you see is what you say what you say is what you sow what you sow is what you reap what you reap is what you are what you are is what you get and what you get is what you deserve ladies and gentlemen let me tell you something this seven laws of sworn and reaping includes seven biblical and universal laws and these biblical and universal laws are profound and yet they are simple so i can say what you see is what you say what you say is what you sow what you sow is what you reap what you reap is what you are what you are is what you give what you give is what you get and what you get is what you deserve now i want you to also know the emphasis is on faith seven laws of sowing and reaping faith look at these seven levels of faith number one you have a measure of faith did you know there's a measure of faith number two you have weak faith number three you have little faith this bible you can look that up when you get a chance number four you have strong faith number five you have great faith and number six you have jesus is faith and number seven you have god's faith we're gonna talk about faith so i want y'all to be involved and get involved with this and then i want you to know we also are going to talk about what you see is what you say look at the laws y'all see them seven levels of faith working with the seven laws of sown and reaping faith all right now let's go further turn your bibles now to this passage and that's where we're going to get our lesson from mark chapter 11 verses 12 through 17. and i'm standing to the side i hope i don't mean to turn my back to you but i want us to read this together okay the next day as they were leaving bethany jesus was hungry and seeing in a distance of fig tree in leaf and he found nothing on belize because it was not the season for the figs then he said to the tree may no one ever eat fruit from you again and his disciples heard him say it on reaching jerusalem jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there and he overturned the tables of the money changes by the way the change the tables of the money changers were basically a steel yard balance that they set on top of a table and when they would set that steer yard balance which is nothing more than a scale they would uh call people in and people will come from all over the then known world to do business in the bankers they call them the bankers table by the way that's where god's love bank gets its it's talked about that in several occasions it's waiting for a connection and we'll be back there in a minute while we're waiting there let me just kind of tell you so what what jesus did he went into the temples and they had set up these banker tables and they were doing business in the bankers and as a result there was some dishonesty going on and jesus cast out them out of the temple and the bible says he got angry literally he got upset it was holy indignation and he cast them out of the temple because they were violating the holy temple and we find that they were doing business with the money changers okay now what happened from then we find that jesus then goes to bethlehem and by the way bethany was a good distance away especially when you are working or walking rather and so and gentlemen if you need this this is it oh we're back again all right amen okay so we left off right what they were selling there he overthrew the tables of the money chambers changers and the benches of those selling doves and it would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts and as he taught them he said it is it not written my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations but you have made it a den of thieves that's what we just got through talking about now we're gonna go further the chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him for they feared him because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching and when the evening came jesus and his disciples went out of the city and in the morning as they went along they saw a fig tree now you got to understand what was happening here jesus had been walking with his disciples for a long time they were tired they were hungry they needed some food have you ever been walking or driving on the highway and you look for a mcdonald's steakhouse and when you get and you look for the golden arches and when you get to a point where you are at the golden arches can you imagine driving up to the golden arches and his clothes that'll make you upset jesus went over to that fig tree he wanted some food and when he saw that the fig tree did not have any figs on it he cursed the fig tree now black folks say cuz white folks say curse i'm ready for you to cuss me out than to curse me out see when you curse somebody you call down the holy condemnation on another person you got to watch what you say when you say god be you you out there shooting golf and you hit the ball the wrong way and next thing you say is god you just cursed another person and when you curse another person you are calling the holy condemnation on that person you got to watch what you say jesus just walked over to the tree he wanted to get the food and he was hungry and there wasn't any figs on the tree and he just said something like it was a day of business he said from this day forward you shall not eat or you shall not produce any more fruit and then peter who was with him missed the sermon you know sometimes brother then is up here preaching and you missed the sermon and peter missed the sermon and he said wait a minute lord the fig tree that you curse has withered away and jesus makes an unusual statement he says have faith in god now let me give you a little clarity on that when he said have faith in god he said have the kind of faith that god has you see god got faith that that we need to get what kind of faith that god does god have god says let there be light and there what was life god says let us create man and woman male and female and he created us god speaks things into existence from the concept of cosmos but it's interesting he said have the kind of faith that god has and then he makes this statement he said truly i say unto you whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou remove and be thou cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart he shall have whatsoever he saith i want you to watch the word sayo it comes from the greek word lego kind of like the children's toys lego it's akin to low gusts gus lego means unspoken thought verbal speech and written language you gotta watch what you say you gotta watch what you think and you show better watch what you writing on facebook say man somebody what you writing on twitter because what you do when you lego a thing you are speaking it into existence by the power that god created when he made you in his own image now then he goes on he says you sh what those things which you lego which you say shall come to pass and you shall have whatsoever you say of therefore i say unto you whatsoever things you desire when you pray believe that you receive them then you shall have them do you know that you got to have the kind of faith that when you ask god for something you got to believe that you already have it say it man somebody you got to have a kind of faith that speak things into existence and then you got to hold on to the confession of your faith until god manifested y'all looking at me funny first john chapter 4 verse number 14 the bible says this is the confidence that we have in him if we ask anything according to his will he hears us and then verse number 15 he says and if we know not guess if we know not think if we know that we have the petition then we have what we asked for when we got ready to build our building for i don't know how long i prayed one prayer that god would bless us with the building and our leaders worked with it and i held on and manifest that prayer i mean i held on to that prayer until god manifested somebody says well what do you do in the meantime do you know there's more than one kind of prayer there's a prayer praise say amen there's a prayer of worship say amen their prayer petition say amen there's a prayer of there are ten different types of prayers ladies and gentlemen so when we go up to that land it was empty and we was they were building the building i'd walk up i'd drive up and walk up to the land and say lord praise you for giving us that building lord thank you for those 14 classrooms with them the multi-purpose center with the auditorium lord i want to praise you lord and i just thank you and once you pray then you got to close the prayer transition out if you pray a prayer of petition then you close the prayer a petition with a prayer of thanksgiving i wish i had time but i got to make sure that i stayed within my time frame here now ladies and gentlemen he said therefore when you whatever you say when you pray believe that you receive it and you shall have them and when you stand praying forgive see a lot of us you got not getting your prayer answered because you over here got a problem with somebody when you close your spirit to another human being you close your spirit to god and when you close your spirit to god you close your spirit to yourself and you got to unminute greater god to go to the lord and ask them for some things and you over here hating on one of his children what you got to understand ladies and gentlemen god says when you stand praying forgive if you have any ought against anyone forgive them for your father in heaven will forgive you based on how you forgive him now i am not going to be able to go through this whole seven laws so what we're going to do is show you the seven laws and how it relates to this passage is that all right all right let's go here what you see is what you say it's working with us you know one of the things i learned brother uh wesley you gotta trust the process you know you ask god for some and then you don't trust the process he said if you ask anything according to his will and shall not doubt and shall not doubt you shall have whatsoever things you pray if you're praying for some shoes if you're praying for healing if you're praying for any of the things in your soul you got to trust the process what's the process you got to trust the word of god and you got to maintain your faith until god manifests what he promised you in the word of god now now now this is the seven laws of sauna reaping these i i want y'all to know these seven laws are profound but kids can understand it look at this i don't know if it's gonna well those were some children and you know what they were doing they were quoting the seven laws of sawing and reaping a lot of our children can quote those seven laws all right but we don't have time to wait on that okay right now what i'm gonna do is we're gonna look at these seven laws and there's the scripture background form see what i mean i don't have time to go into all the details of that but each one of these seven biblical and universal laws is biblical and universal and let me tell you something these seven laws will collaborate with you and work with you based on your understanding of the law it's kind of like the law of of of gravity what goes up what must come down it's consistent it's truthful and is absolute these laws work the same way when jesus talked about the law of abundance he said who whosoever hath more will be given and he shall have abundance but to him that have not even that he has shall be done away with it what we got to understand ladies and gentlemen those are scriptures that support that now in a meeting when we do that i take one day at a time and deal with each law and work with it and go into details about it but we don't have time right now so what i'm going to do next then is show you the areas of your soul that is affected by these laws while this thing is working with us let me just tell you what they are you got five departments of your soul your health your wealth your relationships your career and your salvation and paul talked about some of these when he says whatsoever man sow that celery also reap he that sows to the spirit will reap of the spirit eternal life but he that sows to the flesh or the body will reap from the body damn damnation now what you got to understand then is john said in 3rd john verse 2 i wish above all things that you do what prosper and what else be of what health how even as your soul prosper i want you to understand this ladies and gentlemen sometimes you got to use the laws that work with prayer that's why jesus quoted he said when you pray believe that you receive it but before he said that he said whatsoever things you pray for don't doubt because you got to not only pray you got to exercise faith to make things come into being and some of us got to work on your health you need to know how to pray for healing in your health some of us need to work on our wealth some of us are broke blessed and disgusted because we don't know how to pray god has promised the children of god and i don't preach a prosperity gospel but i sure don't preach a poverty gospel we got too many folk who are struggling with poverty anyway ladies and gentlemen god promised us that he would that he would give us life and to give it to us more abundantly all spiritual blessings are in christ ladies and gentlemen but we got to know how to access a lot of the blessings that we have and that's one of the things that's stopping and hindering people's faith now your health your wealth your relationship your career and salvation everybody hold your hand up real quick hold your hand up let's say it together these are the five departments of your soul your health wealth relationships career and salvation which one is the most important i knew you would say salvation guess what it is relationships your single most important relationship with god will affect your salvation your single most important relationship with god will affect your health it'll affect your wealth it'll affect your career and it'll affect your salvation what you're saying dr rose i'm saying that we got to make sure we keep working on our single most important relationship with god and that leads to salvation all right now i want us to know you can lose yourself and gain your soul but i'm gonna go here now and get ready to wrap this up this uh remote has been trying to give me trouble but when i would do good evil is present with me all right here i want you to see this law what you see is what you say son can you get ready to read turn your bibles and look at look at this passage go right ahead read if you would verse 12 and 13. and on tomorrow we read he said seeing a fig tree see what you see is what you say if you see it wrong you'll end up understanding it wrong what you see is what you say we got to understand you got to see things right i told the people at the equip conference listen we got to stop seeing people's body stop seeing the house and see the person who live on the inside of the house you see i am a spirit i have a soul i live in a body my spirit is the real me my soul is my personality and my body is the house that my spirit lives in genesis chapter 2 verse number 7 the bible says god formed man from the dust of the ground he breathed into man the breath of life and man became a living soul we got to stop talking to the house and start talking to the person who lived on the inside of the house peter said it's not the outward adorning of the wearing of the gold or braid he said it's the hidden person of the heart sisters want you to talk to their spirit and stop talking to their house say man sisters of course now things have changed now sisters is looking at the man's house the is the brother cut is it cut listen when you talk to another person get beyond the house and talk to the spirit who lives on the inside and the bible says seen watch this now seeing the fig tree of forth read having leads he came read read read read he said notice it now remember sayeth lego he said to the tree he spoke into existence through the tree from this day forward you shall never bring forth fruit and the tree die all right i want you to see this next law let's see this next law what you say is what you sow mark 11 verse number 14. what does it say and jesus answered and said unto it he spoke it into existence what you see is what you say what you say is what you sow all right i want you to see this next this next law read verse 20 in the morning when they pass by notice it now now they see the fig tree dried up from the roots you know y'all got a preacher that cat's vision and i can appreciate the elders opening i read your spirit you don't have to be with a person 20 years to know who they are john said try the spirits see if they are of god the bible says god is the father of spirit jesus said god is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him how in spirit and in truth and i was reading the elders i was reading your spirit sir and i can tell you're a spiritual man but do you know that the evangelists cast vision the elders and the deacons partner in the vision when brother wesley comes up and say listen we may need to do more building in the in in the building now we may need to change things he cast vision and the elders and the leaders partner in the vision i'm not just up here talking when we got ready to build that 1.5 million dollar building and we've since then built other buildings there was a baptist church that had the nerve to move right beside us we bought that building and i never i never forget when the the preacher was over there and they were building the building i said how dare him build a building right next to us i don't mean no harm y'all got a lot of buildings around here but any anyway and anyway so and then i said god's gonna deliver that building into our hands and then i caught myself experiencing covetousness i've repented to the lord and i went on by my business and then eventually we bought that building then we bought some more land and we bought some more land every time i would cast the vision and the elders would partner in division i wish i had time to tell you uh we got we were given 1.8 acres of land worth 1.5 million dollars i brought the elders into uh my office and i said gentlemen god has blessed us with this land i got to hurry up here and and and then i said let's go out and pray we went out on all 8.6 acres of that land spread it out and we all prayed i asked the gentleman to come back and give me their insight see a wise evangelist trust his leaders and work with the leaders because the leaders helped him in the casting of the vision all of the elders came back brother wesley and they told me what they thought and what they thought and what they thought and then i kept praying then i went and contacted our attorney and contacted the tax department and they said that that land had been vacant for over 32 years and that we would have to pay 15 000 a year for the taxes and then we would have to uh uh pay for the upkeep almost 17 000 that thing kept me up all night long now as a matter of fact kept me up two weeks and the spirit of the lord god told me deny the property i said what i followed the lord's leading got with the elders i said gentlemen god is leading me that we should deny don't take the land see just because somebody gave you something don't mean you need to take it there was some white brother in abilene that want to give us 350 000 because we were predominantly black congregation at that time and our elders decided to turn it down because we needed to show that african-american people can do just what white people can be i might as well say black houses can do just what white houses can do can y'all say man so i went to the elders i said gentlemen god is leading me to not take the land they looked at me like i was crazy they said what i said that's what he's leading me to do and i want y'all to partner with me in it and they followed the leadership of course now i've been making a number of decisions where they should have been following anyway because i wasn't making foolish decisions all along they agreed then the lord kept me up two more weeks and he told me go back talk with the elders and tell them we need to receive that land so i went to the man who uh gave us the land and i said sir we can't take the land that was two weeks earlier he said what he said it's nothing but dirt and i it hurt my feelings when he said that in other words he knew something that i didn't know he said okay the next two weeks playing forward i went back to our elders they partnered with me i went back to that man i said sir is that all for steel on the table and he says it's soul i said what he said yes right now if you come to abilene there's a senior citizen home who bought 4.8 acres of land isn't that right gentlemen he said his soul my heart dropped to the bottom of my stomach and i said wow he said but it's yours i said what he said when god put in my spirit to give y'all the land i followed the leading of the holy spirit and god so the lamb was yours whether it was soul or not somebody ought to say man i'm trying to show you all something when the man of god casts vision the leaders partner with the vision and when they partner with the vision they come before the church and the whole church will operate like a mighty army say man when you can because i just know see covert has hit all of our churches so this this congregation got even more members than you have right now can y'all say man and i just imagine that y'all are even going to outgrow this facility and do some other things and brother leonard may have to come before his leaders and say hey we need to do something greater than we've already done what are you talking about i'm talking about what you see is what you say what you say is what you sow what you sow is what you reap what you reap is what you are watch this read verse 22 uh-huh have faith in god what you got to understand is he was saying have the kind of faith that god has what you reap is what you are see some of us want to love somebody but you don't have love in you you can't give what you don't have what you reap is what you are all right watch this now next the next law what you are is what you give mark 11 verse 23 what does it say for verily i say unto you if you say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea and sell somebody oughta listen to me because you may have a health issue that you dealing with somebody ought to listen to me because you may be struggling with your wealth somebody all listen here because your marriage may be on the rocks or you about to lose a relationship with significant people or you're struggling with your career and you want a promotion you've got to know how to exercise the faith that god has all right he said now read and what and what you can't ask god for the man of your dreams sister and then the first thing you do after you get off your knees you start counting how many brothers in the church amen you got to believe that god will bring the man of god to you we had a a a member in our church brother leonard he was blind and he learned this concept and uh uh he started praying for a wife and i told them you don't count how many brothers in the church god can bring a brother to you how do you know roach god brought eve to adam and you know when he brought him when he was asleep and vic start praying if you know anything about cyber cybernetics it's kind of like a missile a scone missile when you send it out it goes around and around and around and then eventually bam it hits his target i'll never forget the day when candace came into the church building it's like she came in the church been where is vic hunter [Music] and they got married and then they couldn't have children he used the laws again and asked god to bless them with children and they held on to their faith and right at the time when they thought they were going to have children they adopted matter of fact i helped them they adopted and then right after that um pam they got a son now they got three children say amen ladies and gentlemen i'm trying to show you some tools that will help you to develop your faith all right now i got two minutes left in my 10-minute close yeah i set it up i set it up for 10 minutes to stop say man all right watch this read read therefore i say unto you what things so ever you desire wait a minute now what things so ever you desire what things so ever you desire you desire to be healed you desire to man of your dreams you desire the woman of your dreams you desire a new car you desire to grow spiritually whatsoever things you desire when you pray we believe that you receive it when shall you have it when you pray you see what i mean when i say at those seven levels of prayer i mean several levels of faith and listen i have seen story after story after story where people believe and use the laws in their prayer and god answers it it's kind of like god you your faith moves the hand of god when you hold on to the confession of your faith and you operate in faith he works with your faith and that's why it's important for us to understand the seven laws of sowing and reaping faith all right that last one is what you give is what you get verse 24. have we read that all right verse number 25 and 26 what you get is what you deserve and i'll tell you what when i put this together see the whole purpose of putting together expressions like what you see is what you say you can coin the expression so people can grasp it easier when they grasp it then you go and teach the details of it and people hold on to it that's why right now if i start saying what you see is what you say what you all over the country people are using those laws but watch this now some people had the problem with what you deserve well watch this read and when you stand praying forgive me if you have ought against any that your father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespassing but watch this but if you do not deceive hold hold it hold it for a minute that's my that's my butt that's by i gotta close this all right it's over [Laughter] see if you don't forgive somebody i don't care you don't deserve forgiveness yourself the bible says forgive us what our debts as we do what forgive our debtors and some folks say well that's just too hard listen ladies and gentlemen yes god has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in in christ but you're not just entitled just because you believe in god you got to exercise your faith and i'm not talking about working out your faith you got to do business in the bank of your soul now ladies and gentlemen i got to close but let me say this to those of you online and those of you who are in the audience and somebody in here who needs to respond you remember on the day of pentecost when peter preached that gospel sermon in his fullness and the bible says now when they heard this they were pricked in their hearts and they said to peter and the rest of the apostles men and brethren what shall we do and peter told them what he needed to do he says repent and be baptized every one of you not some of you every one of you in the name of jesus christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the holy spirit ladies and gentlemen one of the greatest calls on this earth is the gospel call for you to obey the gospel of jesus christ if you are online and you're listening to this message and you've been listening to the south side uh church of christ and hearing brother wesley uh preach the gospel thank god for those people who just were added to this church the lady in the back there i don't know her name but it's something that we do in ministry when a person is added to the body of christ we get a circle and and welcome them to the body of christ and when somebody is baptized we don't sit there like a mother calf who's lost our last cow everybody get excited can y'all say amen and we will get excited this morning if you want to obey the gospel of jesus christ we will take the time and we will make sure that you're baptized for the remission of your sins and you'll come up a new creature in christ you'll be able to walk in your new self and go head on and live a life of abundance like jesus promised but then we would be naive to believe that everybody here has not sinned some of us have some of us have fallen short and some of our sins need the prayers of the saints so the bible says confess your faults one to another james chapter 5 verse 16 and pray for one another the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much so you got a whole group of people who will pray for you if you have been touched by this lesson or you ready to respond i believe that people come down or they'll put it on a card i want you to write on your card whatever your need may be and the elders of the church and the leaders of the church will respond to you and right now with to your competent evangelist brother wesley give give dr roach what he deserves give him some love baby all right as you can tell as you can tell he's a very capable competent preacher i just got to bring you back and i can give you a workshop and a series of lessons so you can deposit into our church everything we need and want i'm thankful god brought him our way and he's been very helpful now you know i've been doing this quite a while doc and i can gauge people well i hate these masks because i can't see their face but i read eyes real good and uh for those of you and i noticed today all the eyes were open uh uh sometimes when i'm preaching there's some heavy eyes and uh they were attended they listened my church likes to be fed we don't like to be entertained amen right church right bishops we watch tv together i like stamford and son that's what i'm entertained but when we come to church we want to be fed and i i got a good meal today i don't know about y'all i did i was that that was not just an appetizer that was an entree amen amen we're thankful we're glad we've had the augment uh routine here you know normally we have scores of people coming our deacons receive you and the elders pray for you so if you do have a concentric concern and you want our elders our presbyters our shepherds our bishops to pray with you and over you you write it down at the end of service i believe it'll be brother crumbly who will recognize your request and he will offer a prayer of reconciliation and intercession uh for whatever your concern is now you write that down we'll be doing it in paper we're trying to avoid is you know the mass hurting of people in one place now as soon as they allow us not to be restricted we won't be restricted but be patient with us uh i know some of you say well i'll go everywhere else and they when you ain't everywhere else okay you know this this here i was joke jump uh and uh you know uh you have to understand there's rules everywhere you go and uh as soon as we're comfortable taking the mask and we'll do it as soon as we can so don't go weary and well done listen beloved so be sure you write it down make sure brother ronald jones will get it and he'll pass it to brother cremity and we will entertain your request because we think it's very important i'm so thankful and i'm looking forward to planning with dr roach in the future to get him back he's he's not retired you're recharged he retired you retired to what well you different to me when i retire i'm gone i'm yeah i'm going fishing yeah i'm uh i'm going golfing i'm going yeah so that's my girl he's so you know god is i wish you could go to ministry where i've been and uh and so i'm trying to hear this and i'm done with this uh i was there to preach for his 40th year uh ministries 40th year of him being admitted and starting that congregation and the sunday morning i preached i preached through wednesday after or thursday the sunday morning i preached the city of abilene renamed the whole street right in front of the church dr tony roach uh street avenue boulevard and uh they did yeah and south side you don't have to wait 40 years yeah yeah give me an alley or something i mean you don't even have to be the big street just that little driveway right there yeah wesley t leonard alley you know causeway whatever you woke up uh but uh i i was so impressed by him and i've learned so much from him and our spirits agree and i'm looking forward to even forging a deeper uh relationship uh with he his lovely family and the great leadership and his great preacher who is here with he did it the right way he retired not because he had to because he saw the wisdom of passing the baton while he was still running so they laughed at me doc they said you're not gonna retire 68 already to get the plan to the elders we gave it to the church 68 i'm out of here not more years and they all said no you're not brother leonard no you're not you're just too much like you and uh they don't know they'll just have me on a plan that i'll be well taken care of my fam and i'm gonna be a young man and i'm gonna go to my counseling service and i'm gonna do that and continue to write books and i'll sit back on saturday mornings way back yonder and i'm gonna get out as soon as this church is over and make my golf tee time amen you don't believe it but that's what's going to happen i will not be here preaching at 78 years old trying to figure out how y'all going to run me to an early grave that is not going to happen preach brother linda that's that's the best preaching i did all day right there but uh beloved seriously think again one more time give dr wrote some love the little bank you can look up his little bank he have information for that and you will be blessed by anything you use read and study that dr rochester beloved let's commune with our lord we're mandated uh commanded by the lord the christians the members of the bloodball heaven-bound christ-centered hell-proof church in the bible we are commanded to commemorate his death burial and resurrection communion is a memorial it is the lord in those inscripted words said do this how in remembrance of me it's a memorial if you desire to partake of the lord's supper and you just happen not to pick up a packet if you raise your hand our attendance will make sure you receive one expeditiously this memorial this weekly memorial is for you and i to keep in the frontness of our minds the horrific price that christ paid on calvary for the sins of humanity lest we forget and so now the lord uh has commanded this is the time in our service that we protect of the unleavened bread that represents christ's body it's unleavened with a with a stale taste he did not want the memory to be sweet because there was nothing that happened on calvary that was pleasant for him it's a blessing to us but it was pain to him he wants this to be better i i've had members of church come in the communion bread stale it's supposed to be stale well you want me to put sugar in it i mean you know it's not sweet it's not designed for your palate to be pleased it's designed for you to remember pain bitterness he was willing to endure for the sins of humanity and then the cup represents this just represents his body the cup represents his coagulated blood jack evans and i have been to israel and saw that place called cabaret where he bled suffered and died and it'll change your life when you ever see where the lord died for your sins so we're going to ask every member of the church now to partake of the unleavened bread represents his body the fruit of the vine that represents his blood that's good news oh that's good now now if you keep your communion packet dispose of it on your mass exodus out today uh don't do like you do at home you're leaving stuff around it take it out with you now below we'll come to a part of service that is the joy for time here at south side um uh brother roach we get happy it's a good giving church in the radio this is we we're one of those churches that when the pandemic came my collection went up because i remember has been trained again it doesn't matter the circumstances your circumstances has nothing to do with your giving to the lord your giving can improve your circumstance and so we get happy i'm man i get heavy i can't wait this sunday to bless the lord with his ain't nobody getting the laws of money and so we're thankful for the kind of church we have you know how we give here south side if you watch it at home even here there's a po uh giving let's pray together and we give it to our elders to get us out of here and we appreciate again dr tony roach father with mindful glad happy related we're static that we've been participants the ecclesia the church the called out have been aesthetically and abundantly blessed today to hear from your book the bible and from your man dr tony roach we pray that what he's deposited into our spirits our hearts our minds we'll find residents and it'll bring forth fruit in our lives continue to bless us here at south side we're so thankful glad and happy that deacon curtis anderson who was stricken earlier this week in the hospital but you're a mighty mighty god so he sits here amongst us today we're thankful the lord there's so many others that you've moved in our midst we pray now for your mercy and your grace be upon all of our members great or small hide south side behind your cross cover south side with your blood and we'll be so careful as we partake of your son's blood in your body and we've given to you we'll be so careful to give you all the glory all the praise and all the honor this is our prayer the name of he who died for us all in jesus name amen brother kermit you come and then tori you send us out happy and again remind all of you because of our restrictions now do not congregate please go out and go out uh outside and you can stand on the parking lot [Music] by yourself we pray that you continue to bless us each and every one of us as we as we have a need we know that you know our needs we know that you can separate our needs from our desires and we pray that you turn us down from those things that will mean nothing to us thank you god for your seven laws we we appreciate so much this message we're prayerful father that we can remember that everything that we do everything that we say everything that we think has a lot to do with our relationships that his brother so emphatically mentioned to us this morning we pray that you bless all those who are here who are from other parts of the world bless them and their return back to their homes we are prayerful that their homes will be found in the same condition as they left them thank you for the word thank you for the fact that jesus christ died for our sins and let us who are on the fence let us who are present who are not in a relationship with christ let us learn father let us let us understand that in order to be protected in order to have a future in order to know and really really know where our salvation lies that we must have that relationship and so help us father to be attended and not listen to satan as he tells us we don't need god in all things we honor you father we bless you we thank you and we thank you and we thank you again in jesus christ holy name let this
