[Music] don't be a pansy [Music] hey everybody good morning I'm upright and early today you remember those cattle electorial yesterday we're headed up there to sort on them today and sort off a little bunch of them that we're gonna bring down here to the house and row so let's go get him [Music] hey my Uncle Ray already drove by and he's gonna beat me there I was in maverick gettin a couple hot chocolate about one yesterday and somebody said to me they said you drink hot chocolate in the summertime I just like chocolate things [Music] we'll have to count them off but I think there's about 28 on there we're gonna put a few on my uncle right here now [Music] well what do you think how many will fit in there I'll bet we try 22 and load them straight off find out [Music] [Music] see if they'll forces will come right there I saw I go to back up here and Jeff is back here directing me and by golly for a city kid he kind of knows where dammit were to have me stop check this out good good huh thank you yeah nice job learning a thing your tea from my dad yeah yeah I think I think some of you do that maybe anyway we're gonna unload these horses in these cattle I don't like it when I have guys here ready to rope and I'm not completely ready and that's what's happened this morning I need to drag that arena up real quick cuz it's pretty hard and I still have to saddle a horse [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right we're just roping through some cattle here's here's Josiah Sean right here tell you what that one does he runs like a good beggar right there don't want to sit in there with you hey so you may be wondering why Joe's backing in the box and then nodding for a steer and there's no steer in the chute and they opened the gate that's what you call scoring a horse so he's trying to keep his horse from getting too anxious with the sound of the gate or even with the movement of the guy that's actually opening the chute and sometimes horses will cue off of that and then they want to leave the box before you actually send them so you just go through that little drill right there where you score and then they then they go when you tell them to and then occasionally you have to use a drill of using your left foot to keep that horse over there by the steer so a lot of times just the rattle of a chute you know the back gate the head gate whatever will keep those horses honest is what is what we're trying to do right here [Music] so that horse is a young horse and what he's wanting to do is not stay up in there where he needs to be when he's trying to rope that steer he'll work on him be good while my crews rapping another set of steers I'm gonna get a load of water for that arena it's getting a little bit dusty my little water window right here broke last night it's just uh it's just a clear tube I need to replace it actually but it cracked last night so I taped it up with a little bit of friction tape we'll see if that'll do the trick is a lot faster than filled with my house today second set right here [Music] here's two of my cousin's right here and I taught them everything they know right here [Music] those boys paid attention when I thought [Music] all right load up so check it out I'm by myself Amy's riding with you guys hey so Amy's all proud of added attraction in the outhouse [Laughter] [Music] we're gonna go get another load of water because the audrina dried out for said while we were eating the tacos [Music] fool okay here you go start to finish from when we pulled up to the fire hydrant until we got all done 8 minutes and 14 seconds takes 10 minutes to get a little water hey guess what I've always wanted to do just side spray a bunch of guys just like with a lot of water everybody's sitting under this sage they should give a little water might be mad like we can't get anything done for you first it was tacos and now it's bullet do you like them popsicles that's some disrespect right there yes we're just gonna leave it there huh there was riding stable how to sign up and it said for experienced drivers we have experienced horses yeah for green riders we have green horses and for guys that don't like to ride we have horses that don't like to be ridden so you can kind of pick around here sure sure anyway rich called me the other day and said that he needed a horse to ride for the big parade that we're having here in a week for what we call pioneers day it's Founders Day it's when our town was settled so he's gonna ride lunchboxes so he's out here right now to see if he I think get along if I do it back football fear how much money will you give me 50 cents 50 cents yep because I think you do even if it was for free but I'll give you a dollar good job of Jaron and I we're gonna fill the water truck up again and then we're gonna go for a little a little swim a little dip in the water not only is Papa getting in there but Gigi's getting in there hey it's not the too warm [Music] it doesn't feel horrible but it is not like you said it was like full yeah not like water you can't even talk it's so cold I don't think I want in are you standing it down enough you get into you get into your shoulders all go underneath for ten seconds I'll go under this is cold don't be a pansy it's a little chilly you gotta go clear under yeah ready this can't be freezin I wasn't Anthony that was only nine under ready on three here we go one two three I'm cool you're off it there the swimming was good and Jaron and I have just a little more to do before we're done for the day those cattle that we roped through today we're gonna haul them off so we're gonna saddle a horse again and load a trailer and take them back up to the irrigated pasture this is a bit that I haven't tried before I don't know how old this bin is but I've had it a long time we've been riding him with a with a solid pork but it's had swivels cheek pieces on the side it's a little snug but we'll see how he likes it it's a bit that I had when I was a kid let's go get this cow [Music] they're more worried about eating than they are about driving hey [Music] don't drink [Music] hey the sun's about to go down it's getting a little bit later in the day here we'll see you tomorrow morning we'll be at it again good night everybody flake out I'm gonna be a babysitter are you ready check it out they're all in
