Thailand's BEST House Tour 2023 (Cheap + Luxury Budgets)

today me and ice we're back and today we're  looking at three houses that you can rent at three   different budgets specifically here in chiang  mai and a beautiful two-bedroom house just like   this is going to cost you how much is it going  to cost you it's less than 400 per month right   and a house like this this would be 15 million  dollars back in the west but it's not it's only   okay we're back and ice the lovely ice has  come back to help us again how are you today   i'm great she's working on a on a day off to show  us around so please show your appreciation for ice   in the last video we went to condos and you  guys loved that but now we're going to look   at homes maybe you've got a family or you've  got a few of you living there together or you   just want a bigger place you don't want to be  stuck in a small condo then there are really   affordable options for big houses i'm excited  are you excited okay bless her she's working   on my day off so i uh i don't believe you but uh  thank you i'm excited and that's the main thing okay we're here at the first house how much is  this per month let's just get this out the way   how much is this per month 9500 per month so  9500 baht per month that's yeah less than 400   us dollars a month which is much cheaper than some  of the condos that we looked at in the other video   and how many square meters is this one it's 90  square meter 90 square meters so yeah if you   want a bit more space um well we'll show  you around because this is a really good   option for you just before we look around i want  to say that this neighborhood is really near to   my neighborhood it's a five minute drive from my  house so you're really near international schools   big supermarkets the highway the airport old city  chiang mai city is about 10-15 minute drive away   you're not in the middle of everything but you're  far enough away to be close and you can get really   good value for your money so let's start with this  really big living space since the living room is   obviously bigger than some condo um it's so far  and you have a working space when you walk in   that side and not just that when you walk into  here you got a big space that you can turn to   living room um library dining area you can put  your youtube awards and prizes and whatever   yeah sports and stuff and then there's a bathroom  over here so you know if you need a tinkle   you can just you know if you're watching tv  on the sofa you don't have to go all the way   upstairs you do have a little bathroom there  and then the kitchen's outside yeah it's really   thai style if you have a kitchen outside well i  mean it has a roof but it is kind of like yeah   you have your room kitchen room  here it's actually really good space   um for the townhouse to have a kitchen like this  and not just this you have your own water tank   over there oh so you can taste the shower pressure  which is going to be winning and does that   do you have to pay for the water is that part  of the bills or is that part of your pair to   the normal water bill but you don't pay extra okay  okay it's going to be very cheap water in thailand   is very very cheap trust me and then upstairs  and let's go see the bedroom up there   so this is a one bedroom house but they have like  an extra room that you can turn into a second   bedroom perfect for if your friends or family come  to visit in thailand or you have a fight with your   girlfriend and you need somewhere else to hide so  this is the spare room yes so right now they've   just yeah this is just basically an office space  right um but yeah you could put in you could put   a second bed in here and then this is the bedroom  kingside beard and you have an outdoor uh balcony   patio kind of place so this is the bedroom yeah  nice outdoor area nice and big space again nice   big bedroom with an outside area perfect if you're  just living by yourself and you want to have more   space you want to go upstairs you want downstairs  you want an office or a spare bedroom really good   option if you were trying to save some money when  you're first moving into thailand or you just   don't want to spend you know eight hundred to a  thousand dollars a month you can just get a place   like this and look this is a nice area at the top  of the stairs yeah okay here's the shower bathroom   and then outside here just somewhere where you  would just you know hang your drying on laundry   day storage outside storage just put some stuff  there okay that's the cheapest option out of the   way really nice again perfect for a solo person  i would say um so now we're gonna head to the   second house which is perfect if you maybe have a  small family um so we're gonna be going to a very   typical thai neighborhood taimuban area and look  at a three bedroom house name yes okay let's go and this is going to be inside a very typical  thai neighborhood you'll see what i mean and uh   yeah it's in a really cool little area  near my house actually not far away from   international schools the supermarkets the  airport so it's in a very convenient area   and we're just coming off the highway  and look welcome to chiang mai   we're at house number two now before we go in  let's get the technical details out the way   this is a three bedroom house correct yes and  three bathroom and how many square meters it's   170 square meter and it's for rent for 25 000 per  month if you're wondering um all of the houses in   this video are for rent but if you want to buy  a house you can with perfect homes they have a   whole different section to their website but the  ones we're looking at today are just for rent   let's just quickly talk about the area this  is a typical thai mu ban it's a private move   on the security at the gate all of the homes are  quite close together they look quite similar you   can modify them yourself you do see that they are  quite creative with the the way that they've done   different houses different people have added  roofs outside gardens some of the houses have   bigger gardens some of them have smaller gardens  but the cool thing is there is a clubhouse with a   really cool pool and a gym and all of that is  inclusive of the rents yes it is okay so you   don't get your own pool but you do have access  to a pool just down the road so that's cool so   should we go in yes um just before we go in i just  want to mention that right now there's a current   tenant stay in and he's about to move out so you  might see some personal stuff okay no problem all   right okay so before we go in i did have a little  quick look there's a front garden there's a nice   side garden and a small back garden so if you  do want to have friends out here for you know   drinks and the barbecue out the back you can but  let's go inside yeah the first section when you   walk in there's like a really big space of living  room um you can see that pretty huge so far here   and you get a dining area here with the lots  of window in the other side um yeah and look   out to the garden yeah look out to your neighbor's  swimming pool so you can see these neighbors have   got massive gardens but this one doesn't have  a front garden as big as that but that's fine   and walking to this side you've got a guest  bathroom over here a lot of storage here and   there's the kitchen behind me you want to have a  look yeah quickly yeah just be nosy um obviously   there's a lot of stuff here because someone live  here um it's pretty good size of kitchen and   there's an oven as well and they have a nice stove  very thai style yeah it's good to have an oven   you can never go wrong with an oven and then now  let's check upstairs oh this is nice little kind   of hangout area on the top stairs yeah another  living room i guess with a lot of window here   again you can spy on the neighbors i need to  be seeing them hello neighbours so there's   three bedroom upstairs the first one is here  it's nice yeah it's pretty nice too mango here   yeah i like the floors and uh nice not lots of  natural light air con in the room very important   but no bathroom in here yeah that's your bathroom  in here okay okay so this is one bathroom   and this is a third bedroom that you can turn  to an office okay so you could turn this into   a kid's room a third bedroom or an office space  library or anything okay cool so that's the spare   room and then this is the master bedroom that is  the master bedroom it's really big um you have   your own bathroom in that side and you have a  balcony in that side so you can come out here   this is very very typical uh of a thai mubara  neighborhood for this price range right yeah   and these are all over thailand this this  style of home okay let's have a look at the   nice nice big and it comes fully furnished  this house um and then yeah another bathroom   cool good place to come if you were a family  of two family of three maybe your family four   lots and lots of space and 25 000 baht per month  less than 1 000 us dollars per month that's very   reasonable yes yeah and you got everything  here close to school close to shopping mall   international schools too my school unity concord  three big international schools are just within   five minute drive from here yeah the airport's  ten minutes away so it's a good good location   location yes all right well should we go to the  most expensive beautiful home now i'm really   excited and also i'm kind of hungry so let's maybe  get a bite to eat yeah on the way okay let's go okay so we actually decided since we were  so close to my house before we go to the big   expensive luxurious best house ever um just to  quickly stop by my house and have a quick iced tea   i just got some dumplings as well  like right near my house there's   loads of good cheap street food these are really  good they're stuffed with pork sausage meat and   prawns and then they come with a nice salad  you want to try um yeah come on don't be shy this is really difficult to eat i actually   use the salad leaves that they  give you and make like a salad taco it's good right i can't do a full tour of my  house right now because my housemates are sleeping   but i live in a three-bedroom house  with a swimming pool beautiful garden   um i did actually do a video touring this  house i'll link it below it was one of my   first videos it's a video about like a day in the  life of me teaching online because at the time my   school was closed and then i taught around my  house so if you if you want to be really nosy   and you want to see what you can get for 31 000  baht per month or just over 1 000 us dollars then   check that video after we go see this really  big house and to be honest like going on these   tours with that um with ice is great but it  makes me realize just how great my house is   i really love my house i'm gonna miss it very  much when i move out in three weeks if you don't   know i'm moving out in three weeks to go to every  single province of thailand on my little motorbike   and we're going to be making videos about that  whole adventure on this channel but uh anyway   enough of that let's eat this food and let's go  yeah i know what you did in front of the camera   oh are you nervous yes did you make a mess  did you get some doubling on your white shirt   okay all right cool i'll smash this and then we'll  go to the really nice big house sound good yes   this is watching you okay we are here at house  number three the most expensive the most luxurious   and before i go inside ice has just popped in just  to make sure the house is in order but i wanted to   talk to you about the actual mu barn itself we're  in hang dong this area is 20 minutes or so just   outside of the city but what's really interesting  is when you come into this private muban area   normally these mubans every house is the  same or slightly different to each other   but what they did differently here was they sold  thai people the land and then each person built   their own property in their own style so every  single house in this entire area is completely   different which gives it that much more sort  of neighborhood feel this is the house from the   outside there's this really nice security gate  here you can see huge front garden beautiful   house here so really excited to go inside we'll  walk around there later to the back garden but   let's go inside let's see if ice is in and see  if she's ready to see if the house is ready   before you even go in the house i've got a  little closet here for your shoes in case it's   been raining outside and you don't want to get wet  shoes in the house you can put your shoes in here so how is it it's beautiful as you can  see oh i can see the pool yeah okay   should we save that to last yes what's  this thingy yeah i think in the western   house they always have like this by the door  right when you walk in i think i don't know   about that it's kind of nice and look out on  that side you see the garden i know what it's for you're so drunk you can't even make it to your  room so you just pass out here i like how the   stairs it's like really nice and um a lot of space  yeah lovely and bright yeah um this side you walk   to the two bedroom no two separate bedroom okay  the first one is here really good size of bed and   a little big window here oh and this is the garden  no this is the side to the side view of the house   well you get tv and you got like a lot of space  here for work table or study table very nice and   you have a walk-in closet very good oh and your  own bathroom here oh nice it's very nice can we   do a quick shower test we won't do this every time  but just this once i'm not doing what you're doing   i know it's gonna get me oh now how  do you switch it to the other one   uh pull it or push it i think you pour it oh there we go wow really nice yeah  and it's getting warm already does it hurt   yeah it passes the that's beautiful  that's definitely a very luxurious shower nice and hot nice and powerful  which is what you want another one is here really big space of the bedroom oh this is my  favorite wow i love all the windows and then or   you can see into the neighbor's house from here  yeah wow you got a lot of nature lights here   yep and every bedroom have a  balcony so it's really good yeah beautiful i love all the floors as well  the floors are really nice and smooth wood   another nice bathroom yeah super nice marble  and stuff yeah yeah high quality marbles   it's a little long walk but this is definitely  a a family home right yeah five bedrooms lots   of space people can have a lot of you have  privacy really nice item can we go outside so an upstairs balcony maybe you'd have  like an outside dining area here yeah   oh wow and then the property is on its own  kind of lake right yeah neighbor's house here   you can see the neighbors over there oh my  god look at the neighbors houses over there   wow i can see a dog sunbathing every yeah  every house has a pool every house has got   you're having a good time i'm excited to come  downstairs yeah and there's like a window   everywhere yeah you're right like downstairs  into the oh okay okay look at that later   so this is the master bedroom yes you uh come  to the bed first um the bedroom is you got two   balcony in both sides which is really good and a  lot of spares a lot of sunlight natural light in   the morning another balcony yeah two balconies two  bikini wow guys look at this beautiful oh la la   okay we'll get a closer look on that in a  minute but this is a beautiful master bedroom   yeah this is definitely yeah this is my favorite  picture um what's the surprise over here someone   would love this because it's like weird really  dream of my crosshair that i wanted she's like a   lot of stuff look at this i mean walk around  you can do like yoga in here this is just a bathtub finally a bathtub with you know  we we got in trouble last time because we   didn't mention the bathtub on the balcony  but so you actually have his and hers sinks   a nice giant big shower and a bathtub oh my gosh you ready for the kitchen yes yeah  it's a really really big kitchen   um you have a dining table for sick people over  there and you have a big counter here for cooking   and a lot of storage here  and you want to see this yes self closing drawers fancy nice big fridge  yes and then this is the freezer what is this   oh no no it's just a double ball situation  freezes downstairs gotcha nice and big oh   you got a nice little bar area breakfast  table dining table and giant cinema cinema   sofa wow and what's through there this is the  another bedroom here i just love that every   room has like epic views of the house and the  gardens this is another bedroom oh wow oh okay   the bedroom does that lead to the pools really  really good um and it's just a lot of window and   you can see people on the phone and actually  we didn't finish the kitchen yet yeah oh yeah   another kitchen i love these lights and look  how tall i mean this has got to be 15 meters   high really nice and then oh you get an oven that  is such a rarity isn't it when do you ever get an   oven and you have another kitchen area here  because like in case if you cook something   smelly you can just cook it yeah i like it  you got two park kitchen close the door it's   like mom what's for dinner never you mind secret  i'm cooking you something special wow and then   outside here is this like um an entrance to the  garage yes okay um no it's an entry to another   bedroom i don't know that oh yes wait so there  was three upstairs two now oh yeah five bedrooms so if you have a gas that you don't really  like stay here wow oh this is like a really   japanese style you have a bed and um a  lot of storage here oh that's so neat yeah   okay grandma can stay in  here when she comes to visit all right well tv grandma's got her own  big wardrobe she can watch her soaps   she can go to the toilet she can have a shower wow and then look at this you've got  privacy here yeah you've got the swimming   pool a huge area decking for entertaining  a swing hello and then you've got two giant   trees on your property and then this long  kind of lawn that goes out into the lake   wow incredible let's see what it's like from  the other side yeah it's really big cool   actually you think yes perfect size and then  you've actually got like a little kiddie area   on the other side so you can have a deep plunge  area do some laps enjoy the view of the house   enjoy the amazing garden down here i think  it was raining last night so let's not go   downstairs on the grass too because we're  gonna get some wet feet but look at that what a view okay so we definitely saved the best  to last absolutely beautiful house incredible but   let's get the uh sorry for the beeping there's  some random security thing happening all the   time but let's find out from ice now how much  does it cost to rent and some more of the actual   technical details how big is this house this house  is five bedroom six bathroom with the space of 354   square meter okay and then if i wanted to rent  this how much would it cost me why is rent right   now because of the situation of the world right  now it's list at 85 000 per month for everything   that you have here wow okay and uh can you talk  to us a little bit about the area i mentioned   that the houses here in the in the actual mubaran  i told them that you know they're all different   and it's got a really interesting atmosphere but  can you talk a little bit more broadly about why   would people live in hang dong this district of  chiang mai this is really good area of chiang mai   if you want to move in chiang mai i would  recommend to come in this area because   they have a lot of restaurants here  there are a lot of western community   there's a lot of international school easy to  access to town and the airport yeah and it's   really really good neighborhood if you you can see  around it's a lot of family live here um there's   a lot of family there's a lot of um people who  got some monies who live in here can i say that   yeah market area yeah that's that's what it is um  and it's it's really good yeah okay thank you so   much ice we had such a good fun day today three  properties three different levels of
