A teenager who vanished 8 yearso has been found in Houston alive, but there are still a lot of questions about what happened. Rudy Farias was 17 years
old when
he went missing after taking
his dogs for
a walk. He's now 25 years old and was found last week with bruises and cuts all over his body. He was found outside of a churc, but as Adriana de Alba reports, he still hasn't been able to tell investigators where he's been all these years. When Houston police

where he went missing as a teenager
eight years ago. Police say they don't know where he had been this entire time, but the story has captured
the attention of the nation with so many
calling it a miracle. Today, his family released
a statement saying he is not the same anymo. That brings out a lot of questions surrounding the case. Rudolph or Rudy Farias
was 17 when he went missing while walking his . That was back in 2015. The dogs were later found, but Rudy was not. At the time, his family thoughte may have been abducted
and trafficked. They also said he suffered from anxiety and depression. In 2018, Houston police
say they
got a call from family members
claiming they saw Rudy leaving behind
a family members home. Police say they searched but didn't find him. Then late last week, someone spotted him sleeping outside of a church in Houston. Police showed up and
later confirmed it was Rudy in a statement
Rudy's mom wrote. My son. Rudy is receiving the ce he needs to overcome his trauma, but at this time he's nonverbald not able to communicate with us. We are asking for privacy
during this difficult time, but we'll sharee details as Rudy continues to he. The Houston Police Department is working to answer questions, so many are wondering where wasy this whole time and what
happened
