TESTING GLOW N DARK POLYGEL NAILS

hey it's me Mackenzie Marie I'd welcome back to my channel a couple weeks ago on my channel I tried out poly gel nails which is basically like a gel you squeeze it into a nail form you apply it to your actual nails you hear it and it makes the most perfect nail ever last time we did it my nails came out so fire I'm not even gonna lie they stuck so well and they lasted a solid two weeks I actually had two acetone soaked them off because they were so stuck on my nails but it was good because that's what you want when you do like an acrylic nail or like a poly gel nail so I went on my favorite store Amazon what would be cooler than just regular polytope glow-in-the-dark you be like poly gel nails period because I am an extra girl and I need my nails to be on fleek this is the kit that I'm going to be using today it's the SHC glow-in-the-dark poly gel nails I are so excited to do this this is what the picture looked like off of Amazon and if my nails glow in the dark like this oh honey this is what I got in my kids instructions thank God because the last ones did not have it first of all I'm gonna be doing rainbow today without a doubt that is what I decided I have every color of the rainbow right here and this is how I'm going to apply it to my nails here is the kid dropping things it came with all the poly gels a taco a bottom coat some nail forms it also came with these nail forms which are like the free headed ones but I am NOT that well we scale up when it comes to pooja so I'm gonna be using me this purple glitter and a pink glitter it also came with these cute little like deep how things that I think you can actually put in the poly job and he came with a cute little brush and it's beulah spatula on one side brush on the other this kit cost me $70 I haven't quality little kit like that expensive on Amazon before but I think it is because it is glow-in-the-dark although this kit did not come with any slip solution and if you know anything about poly jelly you absolutely need the slip solution it's so the the poly gel doesn't get all over the place and you can actually shake the nail properly then come with that in here so I'm gonna have to get my own out of my bathroom this cost me $70 and I didn't even get slip solution just test all the colors out on a piece of paper this is the first color that is pretty cute not gonna lie next we got is this orange yellow here is the green this is the blue last but not least the purple all these colors are actually really pigmented and it does come with a large variety of poly gel colors because I don't actually have any of these and I think this is great I'm definitely going to be using all of these today I want to test and see if these glow-in-the-dark right now because they're not cured and we'll see if they work or if they don't I'm charging the gel right now the glow-in-the-dark activates by being charged by light so I'm gonna charge you for about I don't know like another 30 seconds and then I'm gonna go into a dark room and see if they actually glow I'm starting to walk into a darker area and oh my gosh you guys I see them glow yeah oh my god this is too sick dude that green is everything let's put these poly gel nails on I am so excited to test them out and see if they actually glow while they're off my nails the first step to doing your nails is filing your nails down so they're really short because you don't want your actual nail peeking under the back of it that would not look so cute once you've cut and file your nails down you just file the top of your nail because you don't want it to be smooth you want the poly gel to have something to stick on to so I just file it all in one direction and get it pretty rough to be honest I file it pretty hard if I had a nail drill I would use that right now but you can honestly just use it with one of these regular nail files once I'm done doing that I'm going to open up my nail forms and I'm going to size them to my nails what I've learned while doing these is you want it to match up to each side of your nail bed you don't want to push really hard on the nail form just enough that it covers it if it's not an absolute perfect fit find a different size because if it's too small it won't fit right if it's too big poly gel will be pouring all over the place the nail worms that came with this kit are actually really good though I feel like they fit my nails way better than the last kit that I use if you don't have a good nail form your poly gel will not come out right that's all I'm gonna say again once you pay for these ones are really cool because they have a lip on the top of them so you could sleep pill it off these fit so good I absolutely love these ones it's a dual for oh my god I can't clean your nail form geez Louise once you've picked out all the nails that fit your nail it's time to start prepping your nails and to get that poly gel on I'm gonna use what came in the kit and it came with this base coat right here awesome stuff let's test it out let's see how well it works I'm going to apply this to all my nails and then cure it this stuff is kind of scary because I've never actually tried it out before and I do want to keep these nails on my nail for like a long time the last ones I did were really good and I don't want these ones to let me down so far so good you know I'm saying personally I start with one hand at a time because it makes it easier and then I get stressed out and don't put it under this little lamp thingy it did not come with this by the way is a amateur UV light it cures the nails this is what's basically gonna like hardened the poly gel this dummy's so sticky I honestly feel like I don't have to go the nail spine after this because I am I am an artiste when it comes to nails I have got my slip solution and I'm ready to start putting the poly gel in the nail forms so let's go I want to do a rainbow going across my nails all the way onto this side so I kind of wanted to be like coherent is that the right word I don't know somebody looking at Mundek snare dot-com Siri what does coherent mean of an argument theory or policy logical and consistent do you want to hear the next one hmm consistent we've gotta grab my pinky nail first I'm going to put some poly gel in the very bottom of it I just squeeze it straight from the tube into the nail form if I need more I'll add more but it's best to do a little bit at a time so it's about spilling all over the place then I'm gonna grab my brush dip it into my slip solution then I'm just gonna start forming a nail with my brush I like to have a long thick beautiful nicki minaj cardi B nails that's just me you can make whatever nail shape you want go for a coffin go first a little go for whatever you want I go for a regular square in oval almond do whatever you want it's your nail today I'm gonna be doing coffin nails that's my absolute personal favorite the basic technique is just to get it all the way at the bottom get it as long as you want it to be and then make sure it is completely up on the sides of the nail if it's not perfect and that's okay you just want it to be perfect on the side and at the base the top you can shape all that later on if the foundation is messed up the rest of the nails gonna be messed up though so really take your time on this part and make the nail as perfect as you possibly can when you flip it over you can really see how it's coming out so if some parts are like a little more transparent than other parts you know just move the PolyJet over you can really manipulate this and change this as much as you want until you've cured it under the UV light once I am here and I have my nails shaped exactly how I want then it's time to apply it to my axle now this is the fun part and the scarify because it can go all downhill from here 40 degree angle press it on your nail push down make sure she is straight if you got a little spilling going on on the sides you can take your brush clean it up flip the nail over and make sure you smooth out this back part because you don't want spilling all over your actual nail it's looking like this I'm gonna pop it under the UV light and cure it she's ready to be popped off to pop the nail off he just really squeezed both sides of it you give it a little wiggle and boom she pops right off okay girl I see you she looks cute she fits both sides of my nails she's a little raggedy on the top but we still gotta file her down I pretty much can put a top coat on top of this and that nail is done okay girl I see you she needs a couple rhinestones and she'll be popping so now I'm just gonna do the same thing to all of my nails and I'll see you guys when I'm done it's been a while since I last talked to you guys but I completely finished up my nails I have both sides done I didn't end up using the purple Polly gel just because I wanted the nails to be the exact same on both sides but I still feel like they look really cute they look really pretty I need to test them out in the glow-in-the-dark or right now I'm gonna add gems and stuff to them and a little bit but I just want to see how they look when I put them in the dark so let's go turn the lights off and let's see how my wheels look I'm gonna hold my nails up right here and I'm gonna turn the light off so let's see how they look [Music] why it's going off they say insane oh my god I feel like one of those people at a rave I can do a whole life show I cannot believe that these are my nails like I cannot believe that I did this I can't believe this this is an actual thing like a BM see things in the dark because of my nails I think the colors look so awesome to look like little glowing bugs yo yo can you guys see my new world do the glow-in-the-dark Nails work 100% yes I think the colors look amazing I think they came out beautiful they're pigmented and their particular in the dark what bag they slow in the dark side totally worth the price totally worth the money so much fun and my nails look Bob never in my life have I actually seen it glow-in-the-dark nails so this is so sugary this is sad as well I'm sorry but are these not just absolutely fabulous like oh my god I'm living for these nails glow-in-the-dark nails were a 100% success am I gonna use this set again 100% if you guys have any other
