Terry Rozier Breaks Down His Tattoos | GQ Sports

yeah I'm the most telling team for sure what's that yeah then especially what I just did my last little session and I went in and finished the leg and got the head I'm definitely more sad enough [Music] first tattoo I was 14 years old uh my name Terry a crown over a basketball so you know that's a 14 year old type of tattoo anyway that's around the time where people around me started going to middle schools like being an eighth grade like the guys started getting make basketball tattoos it was really young but it's a blessing that you know I end up still playing basketball cuz I got a lot of friends they got basketballs on them that not even close to you know making it today behave [Music] it's a rosary in here I got this when I was 15 right here is my sister named Trey this is before I out all this I had two rosaries and a tray and I have DJ my sister and my brother like when I'm at the free time I do like this out bounce the ball two times and I hit the left side of my chest I've been doing that since high school pride before that I got a nice big angel like this it like feel it fill it all out when I when I need to fill in the space I love my tattoo artist like I let him come up with the idea but like the big pieces are you could tell like the world thought of pieces I come up with for example like my dad got motivation at the time my dad my uncle both of my uncles I'm gonna just be my motivation or likes new child hood friend I just added that like I came up with these ideas if you're gonna get a lot of tattoos you it's only right that at least get what you represent like you know your people around you we really care about our room from the arm I have my grandmother name I have GMB on my hand I've got a cross right here on my thumb I got a rose growing out of a concrete I got that from Tupac ideas like you don't really see rows to go out of the concrete so it's like basic like one in a million a screen mass this is before the scary Terry this is true facts I got this last summer pretty tatted got I got real one it's just a reminder every day I'm real um basically is simulants for me like real power and I say like the secrets of real power is to never never show your attentions never let no one see your face I obviously do all three because I'm a professional basketball but this is my real power right here I see every day this is probably like one of my newest it was tattoos I got I know everybody seventeen I was born March 17 and you know every time I look at the clock it's always 3:17 always like I always catch 3:17 all the time so I'm like it's only ragged just tatted on me somewhere you don't hear a car over a little bit that's not look cool you can see that 3:17 just a little bit I'm not touching my fish yeah I can keep at into the head a little bit cuz you know I got a fade but I attention the face I gotta keep this it's me I always go back in and get either like right before the season so I have my tap man coming to Boston less once I settled down and uh I wanna do something crazy on the back and I want it basically like do it a tribute to like all the people that like was role models in my life guys like Rev Run from Run DMC I wanted that lifestyle I see things that he taught his kids so I wanted to get helps had on me I used to be crazy over Michael Vick when I was young I want Michael Vick title I'm gonna let my own that's who art it's like just go crazy on my back and make it a nice piece thanks ladies I'm still working on first let me start off with the ankle hurts this is probably my worse I really don't know how I finish this to be honest with you this was bad this is better you know obviously it's a dope look there on a horse and you got the crocodile who's not done yet because the ankle hurts a lot and you got this shark down here it's not done because the ankle hurts [Music] came with my favorite animal yeah my favorite I've been my favorite since I was going by this is my son Justin the basically saying he's the king of the jungle we got the the crown on top is he I'm smiling this is probably the first time out on my leg and it says God protect me from my friends cuz my enemies I can handle like me me my mom and pokémons he's got this a couple years ago yeah and I got to be tight on me again right here I kind of like started doing on my own this is last summer my tattoo artist who's like you just you know try to do yourself a little bit so we draw it out and then you know I tried to go over it he was just I teach me how to do it I did a little bit of the G but it wasn't looking like a G was looking like another layer so I'd let him finish it out have you heard of the tattoo curse girlfriend's name eyes I mean I've seen it I heard of it but you know I stay away from that how cool that I know about the little tattoo courage I really get my home he said I don't we did to get a girl tattoo [Music]
