When Syndergaard threw that ball, I thought, if there's one team who would appreciate that, it's the Royals fan base. And, here they are crying foul. Doesn't make sense.
The most appalling thing to me are the group of fans saying that Syndergaard is getting away with it because he's white. Like really!? You're gonna play the race card?! IT'S NOT ABOUT RACE, IT'S ABOUT REPUTATION!
And these from earlier in the season:

You guys do know who were are playing to start next season. I don't think there is going to be retailation this series but next year its gonna be fun.
Ball wasn't even that far inside. Look at the video, it almost stays over the plate. It's eye level but nothing wrong with that.
I 100% agree with how Jim Wolf handled this situation. I hate umpires that immediately pull the trigger to eject a pitcher after a warning is issue, like what happened with Robles on the pitch to Cameron Rupp. None of those pitches by Volquez were intentional, and Wolf new they weren't, so he didn't eject him. Sanchez deliberately threw at the Royals twice on a 0-0 and 1-0 count. That warrants an ejection. Good umpiring by Wolf.
I was at this game. It was absolutely insane that the benches were warned in the first, and the first person to get tossed was Sanchez, especially since that looked like a pitch with just some crazy run. Blue Jays fans were out for blood at that point.
The thing that bothers me the most is that some Royals fans are bringing race into it, because Ventura is brown and is the bad guy while Thor is white and got away with it.
No, motherfucker, it's because Ventura is a known douchebag who, along with the rest of the Royals, has done it repeatedly and acts like a petulant child, while Thor has done it exactly once as an obvious strategic move.
Is there a video of the pitch? I missed it
