TDW 1691 - The Real Life Munster Mansion !

welcome everyone Adam the whoo here filling up on fuel and caffeine pumping itself I'm a magician of course it's my second channel daily vlog Channel it oh good the daily whoo oh the road again even though I really haven't left the road in a while I'm curious to see what's around the next man oh I can't wait to see what they're going to be a heck that out the starship Pegasus it's an abandoned store shaped like a Star Trek spaceship kind of curious to see if it's possible to get inside or not what is this one of the crews nickname or I'm very confused by that would have been pretty neat to visit this place back when it was open however you have to keep in mind they don't accept checks in space pretty cool looking in there very futuristic I wish the door was unlocked it's not at one point looked like there were three glass windows that you could peek out the front of it of course they have been broken and now replaced with wood covering the hole I never knew they had air conditioners that style air conditioners in space got to keep Kirk happy an upset Warren sweaty Shatner is something we all fear the road the final frontier these are the ongoing missions of Adam the woo to search out new life fine old roadside attractions that used to be open from that still are to boldly go where what a few other people have gone before but it put his own little clever spin on it in some weird fashion bah boom there's something on the RV my shatners not very good a little behind-the-scenes you'll notice the heat is blasting all the way up I had to sit here for about 20 minutes blowing the hot air on the battery to warm it up because the drone did not want to take off in the cold let's figure something out and fix the problem maybe insert these down and a couple pairs of socks to keep them warm so when I'm ready to fly the Majestic it's good to go this guy just lost his tire I guess the spare tire rolled off into the grass and he walked way over here to get it very interesting how did that tire get away from him looks like at one point the high winds came through this entire neighborhood is filled with dome homes for real they're all shaped like domes what have I stumbled upon a very cool community every house is circular in a small way these remind me of the former Xanadu houses of the future pretty freakin awesome who knew this was back here took a wrong turn and ended up in a very bizarre place maybe they're aliens that's why that Star Trek vessel was there the nuclear Wessels throwback and it appears as if some of them are painted like a caterpillar that is a caterpillar a huge caterpillar ok coffee has officially kicked in take a deep breath OH could just be the caffeine talking but doesn't that look like a big grasshopper that grave contraption I don't know that guy looks really familiar stopped off in the town of Waxahachie maybe it's black magic very quaint old school community I'm really bad at pronouncing Texas towns the Rogers hotel is a really cool old-school neon sign hanging on the corner and this is the second small town movie theater I've seen in this state simply called Texas is it the name of the theater I know it's the name of the state but it's the name of the theater as well this guy named Wenzel Zach duple created this bridge out of toothpicks over 8,000 flat toothpicks and a thousand square toothpicks and the ferris wheel the window of this art gallery very interesting interesting things in it how you doing to that but a happy guy wasn't there a movie that had a witch that can remove our eye and hold it in her hand it is look like her that's the image that I'm thinking when I see her what was the name of that movie where the witch could take her eye out and hold it in her hand tough to see him but on the football field of this school is a muffler man Indian I guess they moved him here from an old muffler shop maybe he's just standing there near the touchdown area here's a slightly better angle still can't get too close because there's fences up he's behind the goalposts pretty neat right down this road it's something you would not expect to see in Texas directly above this river is a thoroughfare by the name of Brown Street but some college a different name because right behind these trees is a work of art if you're a fan of 1960s television did you have a GPS put in the coordinates 1313 Mockingbird Lane that's right the home of the one and only Munsters built by Charles and Sandra McKee to the exact specifications of the show from what I read online they washed every episode with great detail yes so they could get the Eagles specifications of the home the angle of the Sun is really playing havoc with the glare I'm blocking it by this post incredible look at this thing I've been to the spot on the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot where the house originally was but that house looks totally different now this is awesome because it brings to life the past of a classic TV show I'd love to get on the property however it is a private residence can get anyone's attention by standing there at the gate no one came out so I have to look from afar at the beauty of this thing this is incredible it's only open one day a year on Halloween from what I read online the line gets very lengthy I can see why what a cool experience that would be definitely something you don't see every day or from the road the treeline blocks it pretty well that was a joke by the way about putting 1313 Mockingbird Lane in your GPS probably will not end up here if you do making my way towards Dallas well I'm pretty much almost there just on the outskirts stopping off at Laurel land Cemetery right here on the edge of the property right next to the road is the final resting place of officer JD Tippit who was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald just 45 minutes to an hour after JFK was assassinated he was patrolling a certain area got the call over the radio to look for a certain descriptive man and he saw Lee Harvey walking stopped him and was shot three or four times leaving his patrol car in the middle of the road and the requite a few witnesses to the incident originally this area was going to be called the memorial court of honors for officers who fell in the line of duty and next to him is Carl Jackson cook a totally different unrelated event and JD Tippit was the first person buried on this area of the cemetery but over time other people were buried here and it didn't really pan out according to what they had planned the waste situations play out always fascinates me there are many officers unfortunately who are killed in the line of duty but his story has to do correlation with the murder of a president he will forever be immortalized as the man who stopped Lee Harvey was taken down for Lee Harvey went to the Texas theater it was talk which is also interesting is every movie establishment in the state called a Texas theater closer to downtown now the scene of the crime corner of 10th and Patton Avenue right over there while on patrol and traveling east on 10th Street having just crossed Patton TIPA stop the Oswald who was walking on the sidewalk after a brief conversation with him through the passenger window Tippett Exodus police car at which time Oswald fired three shots across the head well on the call over there his police car was left in the road here this is where the witnesses described the event I just looked up the distance from Dealey Plaza to where I'm standing now four point three miles if you're following along at home using Columbo like research skills and have been immersed into the JFK event in Dallas like I have you might want to retain that in the brain and just a few blocks down the road is where he ducked in without paying inside that theater there and was taught a movie that was being shown inside with war is held has also been said that it has been restored to look like it did back in the day in 1991 by Oliver Stone when he made the movie about JFK definitely like the old neon and the engraving on the floor and it looked like they play old movies Tarantino's Jackie Brown will be playing here soon one over
