TCL C715 TV Connect to Onkyo Home Theater AV Receiver (via Optical Out & HDMI ARC)

hi guys today i will show you how i connect my tcl tv to my onkyo home jetter system first is uh i have two options to connect uh the first one i will show you the easier easier way is using the optical out here it goes first connect this optical cable to the optical out of the tv make sure the orientation is correct then connect the other end to the input of the receiver then connect here now i connected the end the other end to the receiver now i have um connected the cables so now so at the back of the home of the receiver i connect the optical cable to the cd input so let's see so i have a sample video here on my usb so just replay this one right now they are both uh the sound is coming both from the home chatter and the tv so let's minimize the home chatter sound then this is tv so i just it's the home chatter set the 50 volume then back to the tv just a replay nope sorry just use this one [Music] so you can hear there's a some delay in the sound so it's not really nice i'll just minimize this one and also if i um minimize to like a mute then you can see the speaker and across [Music] also shown there okay now i will try the the other way to connect using the um arc or audio return channel to use the arc or audio return channel hdmi so i need to take out this optical and make sure the hdmi is connected to this arc hdmi or arc and also connect the other end to the hdmi arc on the receiver okay now i have connected the cable so i'll do the setup on this one probably in the system t-link so the t-link should be on okay so all on you can see the blue if you select this one this off then on bring the auto power on or the standby should be all right then on the um onto your receiver i will do the setting as well under receiver there should be a setting to be done so now it's accepted tv 60 volume but on the settings go to a source then i'll just select previously it was set to optical now set to arc and select that one and go back okay now i have connected the hdmi cable to the arc or arc port on the tv and also on the arc port or ar arc port on the receiver so i can just turn on the receiver as well so try the video again so just media player so i can try to play this one again just go to replay [Music] so now the sound is coming from the home chatter system [Music] see the volume control showing on the right side [Music] okay i think that's it so i think that's the um there's the two way to connect the um tcltb to the home chatter system so i i think i prefer the second one using the hdmi because uh it is a more sync compared to using the to the optical cable so again that's it for today and then thank you for watching you
