Tatra Mountains: Why You Must Go

it's no secret that autumn is my favorite time of the year this one i wanted to experience it somewhere i hadn't seen it before somewhere wrong where i would feel challenged and delighted at the same time somewhere that just felt unfamiliar it's not a cloud in the sky huh [Music] somewhere where people would speak words i can't understand where houses are different and the grass smells different [Music] i thought long and hard i ducked through the archive and that was a place that has always left me wanting more that place is poland and the iconic tetra mountains let me show you why oh is there any trail to a sick ridge here that one's in the clouds already that's done so why don't we go to one that's not in the clouds tomorrow there's 84 ridges in sight right [Music] [Music] oh you know like a full panorama a little handheld pano 50 so you have some looks like a large format photo [Music] lightroom for gives a lot of things nowadays [Music] your gloss if you've been at night wow luckily we got 1.2 [Music] very architectural magazine actually my photos after i said thanks i feel like it's more natural look at this guy what are you doing you trying to play a little bit somewhere [Music] we're going to the ridge the uh there's a ridge up there it's very windy but we'll see some hopefully some nice ridges and sunsets that's the hope but it's cloudy [Music] it is already special enough seeing high places sometimes they take magical dimensions when the light is right on this day we had very little hopes for a sunset but in the last five minutes of the day boom okay come back some of the most beautiful light i've ever seen the last second of sun polarizer engage 2.8 yeah [Music] yeah i mean we got super lucky got some sheep got a pretty cool sunset and this you know the trail is nice and snowy so i think yeah we just got really lucky to have this five minutes of sun got some cool photos i think [Music] [Applause] yeah nice yeah i think there's something thank you so this is my vegetables bon appetito cool costco 608 calories it smells just like this [Music] hmm [Music] one of the greatest joys for me in life is sleeping in mountain shelters away from everything although i don't always wake up for sunrise i do love the fresh air knowing that i am just removed from the mundane daily life [Music] this is one of the most remarkable shelters i've ever been it's called halagasinikova and i'm already sad we're leaving after getting my fill of the high attach ra i headed down following the river to meet a fisherman truth is i am a terrible fisherman so i thought i'll learn a few tricks and get some nice portraits and maybe have some chat or trout for dinner i will help you pretty dry here it is the mirror slow motion wow [Music] beautiful guy wow can i reduce him yes well there goes our dinner plans nice work nice that's cool [Music] so [Music] we left the best for the last day the morsekiyoko valley and its hanging lakes [Music] in the summer this place is busy really busy but on a cloudy fall day not so much and that's why i like autumn off-season [Music] now we're climbing up to a very special place where i think we can see the two lakes [Music] [Applause] and this concludes my time in the polish tetra a mountain range i'm still unsure how it even came to exist [Music] it's 45 kilometers long and 15 kilometers wide and it seems like it rose in the middle of the field by the push of some sort of giant [Applause] thank you tetras just like the last time you've let me wanting more [Music]
