Hello alright guys it is Barry here welcome
to my virgin kitchen I am joined today by my girls Becky, Phoebe and Chloe, we have
been sent some treats in this box from Denmark from Sarah who is hopefully from Denmark I
hope she is she sent a letter amazing times and we get the fun job as always of tasting
them is that cool. Yeah, how excited are you Mrs Barry? Make a noise that shows how excited you are! The first one is Sbrod by rugkanter it is
kind of paper tasting and there is tomatoes on it right is that tomatoes? Yeah and I think it is like an oven baked
rye bread so crispy sbrod and the Danish word for brod is bread so you wanna try these yeah. Ohhh smells like tomatoes, what does it smell
like Chloe, smells like strawberry and ham it does smell of a real strong stench of tomatoes
we are going to pull them out right here, they look like tiny little credit cards actually
but anyhow want one, yep. Bit tangy and a bit crunchy, they remind me
of ryvitas, they remind me of tomato stock cubes, yeah we are actually eating tomato
stock cubes, amazing! So yeah generally they are ok, they taste
quite a bit tomatoey lovely tang to it not my sort of thing but these girls are loving
them high in fibre which means the toilet will be busy later on. Alright Chloe what is this on the front of
the wrapper? An elephant, it is an elephant! This is snore basically strawberry liquorice
laces apparently at Birthday parties in Denmark it is really popular to have eating races
to see who can eat them the fastest without using their hands! So do you want to do that? Yeah lets do it! Ok so we all have a lace not allowed to use
our hands so the kids may struggle but Mrs Barry are you ready? We have to suck it only ok. *fast forward*,
oh you won no way oh my gosh. So Chloe has fallen in love with the Strawberry
laces, give it back! So it is quite cool to do that guys give it
a go you can get laces all around the World and tastes pretty cool right? Yeah. Alright so next up Chloe if you hold that
up for me is called Nellie Dellies which sounds to me what an old person would put on their
head, I am just going to put my Nellie dellie on alright. But basically these are wine gum wild berry
flavour but they are not made with sugar, they are made with stevia instead which apparently
Denmark is going crazy for right now Mrs Barry, oh right. Can we try it? Yes of course we can that is why we are doing
the video. Chloe has shoved it right in the mouth, apparently
there may be quite a strange after taste. Do you like it? Yeah it tastes like crayons! Yeah it does taste like crayons or Crayola
because there is no real taste to it, it is like a sour after taste to it, yes that is
right. It kind of tastes like liquid, you mean liquorice,
kind of like a throat sweet too. You can tell there is a fruity ness in there,
but there is absolutely no sensation right. Yeah they are sour, the only thing I would
say is chloe appears to be enjoying them, do you like them? Are you Danish? Yeah I told you that, you told me that? Next up is something by chocohouse called
hindbaer mandler which is basically raspberry almonds, chocolate covered almonds dusted
with raspberry powder does that entice you? She is going crazy! So lets get them open and see what they taste
like apparently lots of people are doing their own homemade versions of these at the moment. When I first saw them they look a little bit
like easter eggs with it being easter so recently but the scent of the raspberry is good. Oh it has a nut in it, it has got a nut, an
almond hasn�t it. What do you think Mrs Barry, well I do not
normally like almonds, I do not really like almonds, but today is an exception. Chocolate with raspberry powder not too bad
right, they are nice, I do like them. Urghh you do not like it? Why not? Just because I do not, but she still has it
in her mouth. They are lovely, are they? Yeah, give it a thumbs up then, good times. Good times? Good times! Ok I have just grabbed this from the fridge
it is a can of cocio, basically chocolate milk. Are you excited Chloe? That your excited face. So chocolate milk mrs Barry reminds me of
being on holiday in spain whenever I went their as a kid by the pool my dad would be
having a beer and I would be on the chocolate milk. So hopefully it tastes the same, shake it
up Phoebe, apparently you have to shake it up to stop the chocolate sticking to the bottom
of the can. Also good served warm with a hot dog apparently. With you have a hot dog with that? Yeah I would. Amazing well we are going to have them cold
in these glasses. Hmmmm what does it smell of Chloe, chocolate,
shall we have a drink then, chin chin and all that, oh my goodness that is nice what
a stonker, is that good, yeah what is a stonker? A stonker is something that is really nice
Chloe. Do you like it so that is a stonker loving
that. It is quite a warm day today so having that
served cold is going down way to easy, nice and rich with a chocolate spank, loving it. These are Samba which makes me want to dance
you want to samba, alright what is it then Becky? These are cream buns and they are like marshmallow
teacakes oh ok like the giant teacake we did when we headbutted it, mini versions of those
but instead of biscuit it is wafer on the bottom. And it says people take them to school on
their birthdays to give to their friends. That is amazing. Oh wow, it looks like magic hats, it does
look like hats you would put on a Barbie doll. They look like hats a sophisticated man would
wear at the bank, hello I would like to take my money out please. You could not really headbutt these could
you, well you could there you go. The chocolate has shielded me from the filling. Hmmm, it has evolved from being made with
cream to being made with egg whites now. I can just taste a lot of sugar in it there
is the coconut but a lot of icing sugar or powdered sugar in it you like it, I think
I should not have headbutted it but very very sweet. What have you got there mrs barry. I have some hard boiled sweets norregade althea
althea for men. Sarah says I cannot quite tell you what these
taste of. You cannot tell us what they taste of that
is crazy? They must be pretty unique so lets find out. They are really hard and Chloe has come back
to life all of a sudden she knows there is food about. Oh you are just biting them? Right Chloe has fallen back asleep came up
to investigate them but was not a fan, we all agree though that these do taste of something
quite odd. What is that? Soap. Yes Soap indeedy. Soap that is right that you wash your hands
with we do not actively eat soap in our house do we but we just put it on our hands and
wash our hands. Yes you put soap on your hands not in your
mouth. Last one is called a citronmane lemon flavour
car would that work? This is a lemon flavour cake with lemon icing
on apparently a staple in every Danish household and very nice with the chocolate milk but
if we have this with the chocolate milk she is going to be like spiderman swinging on
the ceiling! So we will open this up a real big weighty
cake and have a nibble. Have a smell what does it smell of lemon,
sprite, sprite with lemon. Sprite is lemon and lime right. Oooh lovely it looks like processed cheese
on the top it does or a poor mans pacman they could only afford one half of it. It does smell very lemony for sure can smell
it. Like a monsters mouth smiling and its throat
is yellow, a scary monster with a throat that is yellow. It is quite a dense weighty sponge do you
like the smell of it even more now, it literally is like having a lemon in your hands lets
have a go guys yeah cool, oooh that hmmm that icing is lush. Ok so Chloe has perked up again and has now
decided to start feeding mrs barry but mrs barry how would you sum up that taste delicious,
Phoebe what would you say? Egg tastic. Very could do with a lemon drizzle vibe to
it but I am liking it guess that is why you have the chocolate milk with it delicious
guys when I like something I like to sing a song as you know, Phoebe. *R Kelly moment*
