TARGET SHOP WITH ME 2022 | NEW FURNITURE + HOME DECOR

hey everyone welcome back to my channel my name is kristen and today i'm taking along with me to target so we can check out what's new in stores for 2022. i know that the hearth and hand collection and the studio mcgee collection are launching all new products for the new year and the upcoming spring season so i think we're going to see a lot of new fresh color palettes new spring pieces and i'm so excited to check everything out in person i hope this video gives you some ideas on what you can find at target this season if you enjoy watching make sure you give this video a big thumbs up and target today the first place we're gonna check out is the target dollar spot this is where i usually find a lot of great products for under five dollars the first thing i found was this little soap dispenser set and i just think it's so cute i've made something very similar with my cricut but this set is just five dollars they also have it in a copper finish but i would stick with the black for a more high-end look [Music] this little section here is calling my name it's filled with coffee bar essentials i saw this little set of three jar set for just three dollars and i would put little sugars in there and add that to the coffee bar you can also put cinnamon and cocoa in these little spice jar containers that match that would be super cute and again this is just three dollars they even have this little mug holder for three dollars it has all the hooks on there to hold six mugs a lot of this stuff isn't really the best for having around your home i just feel like it's a little much but i think it's actually such a cute idea to set up a little coffee bar if you're having guests over if you're having a party or an event this kind of stuff just makes it so fun and welcoming it's also great for if you're styling an airbnb and hosting guests having a little coffee bar set up with all of these cute essential products is the perfect way to make your home feel cozy [Music] i am such a sucker for mugs with quotes on them they get me every single time this little set is five dollars and they have the cutest little espresso mugs right next to them it comes with the stand and four espresso mugs for just five dollars this is such a great deal [Music] if you've been subscribed to my channel for a while you know how i feel about baskets they are such a great way to hide clutter and tidy up your home these little rope baskets are five dollars they have a little hook on them a nice little leather detail and i think they're perfect for storing that front door clutter [Music] this is such a cute little lightweight throw blanket for just five dollars they also have it in the color of the year sage green it's such a pretty fresh color for this spring season [Music] i love re-bottling and re-jarring products that i like to keep out like room sprays and sanitizers these little spray bottles are perfect they come in a set of two for just three dollars and i just love this spring color palette [Music] there are so many great finds in the dollar spot so never skip over it always head there first before you go anywhere else now let's head over to the home decor section to check out the new hearth and hand spring collection [Music] just from first glance you can tell that there is a main gardening focus here the spring blossoming season is coming and they have some great essentials here for that i love this decorative watering can it's perfect for watering your indoor plants and kind of leaving out as a decor piece and they have a more practical watering can for outside watering all your flowers i love that they have indoor and outdoor things part of this collection [Music] something we're going to see a lot of from the hearth and hand collection and the studio mcgee collection are artificial plants they have some of the best artificial plants at target they always come in a beautiful decorative pot they have that faux dirt inside that makes it look very realistic and they always have a ton of variety i usually get a lot of my faux plants from target so i'll definitely have an eye out for my next one i love this little tree here i've seen it here in the winter season but i think it's perfect for the spring it's 45 it comes with a basket and it's about three and a half feet tall [Music] if you're looking to add some height to your existing plants you can even grab plant stands like this this is a very beautiful decorative looking piece it kind of looks like a little drink table but it will just add that extra height to your tree or your plant and really elevate the look of it [Music] i've noticed that the hearth and hand collection has gone from being very black and white farmhouse to a little bit more traditional in its style they definitely do have more of an outdoor focus on outdoor living and gardening but they have introduced more of a contemporary style to their decor [Music] this ceramic bowl is stunning i love the low profile the scale of it it's perfect for throwing fruit into or even putting moss inside and laying on your coffee table it's such a stylish timeless piece and it also comes in a little mini vase they have a large vase that would be perfect for putting all of your large spring stems in i think one of the easiest ways to achieve a stylish fresh looking space is putting beautiful stems in a large scale base like this in your living room dining room or kitchen island and it will make such a big difference [Music] oh i really love this doormat it's such a nice twist to the regular welcome mat the glad you're here is so sweet the font is beautiful and it's just 13 just like baskets i also love decorative boxes because they can hide clutter they can hide your mail all those papers that lie around and you can hide them behind a pretty little box these are perfect for styling your open shelving laying on your console table they're perfect for pretty much anywhere i love the plaid material that wraps the outside and they give you an opportunity to label them as well if you want to make any space indoor or outdoor feel cozy and relaxing you need lanterns i love these copper lanterns the shape is very modern and you can put fake candles inside or real candles and they are just so beautiful [Music] i love that this spring collection isn't filled with floral pieces and bright colors they just have very timeless patterns here i love a good striped pattern or plaid and this is such a great detail to have on a dish like this this layered in with a black dish looks so stunning they have a whole line here of striped dishes to add to your kitchen [Music] at first i thought this was just a cup but this is actually a yogurt parfait cup i think that is so stunning that would just make eating yogurt in the morning very exciting [Music] i keep seeing this little plant all around the setup and i think it's one of my favorite things i've seen so far it's just six dollars and it just gives off such a fresh simple look [Music] oh lots of pretty things over on this back wall we have some new artificial plants some blanket ladders and these little stools these stools have been part of earlier collections so this is nothing new but i've always loved this little table i think it's the perfect little drink table you can add it to any living space or even bedroom it doesn't take up much space and i think it has such a timeless classic design [Music] a decorative ladder is the perfect way to easily style a space with towels or blankets if you have a narrow empty wall you can put one of these in and it just instantly adds some style and texture to your space [Music] now moving on to one of my favorite collections here at target the studio mcgee collection with threshold they just started rolling out their spring line and i see some beautiful pieces already i love this dowel chair it has those curved lines but also a lot of structure and it looks very comfortable with these thick cushions it's such a pretty piece and i just spotted my favorite chair back in a new fabric this is the vernon chair i've got these in my living room in a boucle fabric but they just launched them in a nice timeless linen material this is one of my favorite chairs the round curved edges are very on trend but it also has a gorgeous structure again to it so it's a beautiful piece to add to your space to really create an on-trend look these chairs always sell out very quickly so keep an eye on them online to see if they're in stock in your area [Music] the studio mcgee collection always has very high-end looking pieces at a great price i love these decorative pieces chains like this were very popular in a wood finish and this marble is just stunning it has some greens and warmth into it it's very on trend they also have a ton of new faux greenery stems and flowers these are perfect for adding that spring touch into your home bringing some life back into it putting these into a large ceramic base is the perfect way to decorate this season [Music] i just spotted a new bench here perfect for a hallway or front entryway i love that the cushion is very pillowy and thick it looks really comfortable and i think it's priced pretty well at 170 if you want to add those spring fresh colors to your home pillows are always a very easy way of doing that i love that this collection has some plaid floral and even knits in here spring is kind of an in-between season and i feel like the pillows and the textures here are really showing that you can layer in knits with florals to get that cozy spring look [Music] i think this collection does a great job of making it easy for you to shop for pillows all of the pillows go well together the fabrics and the colors and the patterns work well together so it's pretty simple shopping if you're looking for new pillows for your sofa or bed i would grab any of these and they will definitely work together okay this ottoman has to be one of my favorite things that the studio mcgee collection has launched this is not new to the spring collection but it's a great piece in general i have two of these in my living room and they add extra seating and a nice foot rest when you're sitting in other chairs [Music] here's another piece that kind of has it all this is a beautiful console table but it also has this hidden drawer inside you can make this your work from home desk you can put it behind your sofa put a nice lamp on it pull a chair up maybe even just put a little casual stool underneath this is the type of table that can be in your living room bedroom your front entryway even a hallway such a great size and such a versatile look [Music] you might notice that shape is being highlighted a lot more than pattern this year the shape of these decor pieces is so striking and beautiful and it gives this very high-end look these here are planters and those would just totally elevate the look of your house plants and on top they have vases so again perfect for styling around your home i love that all of the ceramic collections come with multiple sizes and shapes so you can buy them together and group together for a designer look [Music] [Music] the studio mcgee collection has some of my favorite on-trend lamps they have this beautiful ceramic lamp that has these nice little handles it looks very antique and vintage inspired they all have a very substantial heavy base and that nice tapered lampshade the tapered lampshade is definitely back in style it has come back after a long time and it just gives off this very traditional old world look [Music] now i did say we're gonna see an abundance of trees and artificial plants in here this is the little greenery shop with threshold they have pretty much every house plant imaginable these are all artificial plants but they have such a realistic look to them if you're looking for good artificial plants i think this is the place to check out they even have large tall fiddle leaf fig trees this is such a great option to add some height into your home if you want to kind of balance out the scale of your space a tree this size can definitely do that i think fiddle leaf figs go really well with a more traditional look and these banana leaf trees are perfect for more of a mid-century boho looking space they also give off a little bit more of a modern vibe so i feel like plants do have style to them they can really accentuate the style of a space and picking the right house plant makes all the difference [Music] now lastly i just wanted to point out this new line that just came out it's called brightroom and it's a big organizational line here at target they look like they are competing now with the container store and giving a more affordable option they have almost every organizer imaginable here they have these little trolley carts that are amazing for organizing small spaces and having mobile storage those come in almost every color for just 35 they have vertical storage solutions laundry baskets even laundry organizers on wheels i definitely need to get one of those i have a lot of organizing to do at the start of the new year so definitely stay tuned for some more organizational videos [Music] okay wow spring is definitely in the air at target there are so many amazing artificial plants there if you're looking for plants for your home i would definitely check out target and all of the beautiful pastel colors they're using this season are always some of my favorites
