it's June 25th and we leave Fairbanks to drive the 273m stretch along the Parks Highway to tala along the Route we drive through Lush forests big rivers and we pass through the Alaskan mountain range with its rugged snowcapped mountains including the famous Mount Denali the tallest mountain in the North American continent at 2,310 FT once we make the turn up TOA spur we arrive at the Alaskan Hideway Campground tucked back in the mosquitoes I I mean Woods just outside of tala okay babe where are we oh my gosh we're in Talina which is a really uh very Alaskan Style town it's got all these little restaurants and crafts and it's got a real hippie P yeah it does have a real hippy Vibe it's definitely a tourist town off the beaten path and uh do we know what river this is I don't really know I think maybe a Denali River yeah I don't know anyway you can see how fast it's running yeah and you can see the mountains in the background maybe here let's see if I can zoom in a little bit there we go look at those those are beautiful ah so uh let's go let's go explore Talon a little bit we can give everybody a tour of the downtown area okay all right here goes [Music] go walking down the main street of Tait now you got tala spinach bread we got the birch tree Art Gallery so tala is a food destination there are all kinds of restaurants uh here in this little tiny town so whatever kind of food you can imagine you can get it [Music] here [Music] [Music] they have lots of beer so the D Denali Brewing Company is is right by our campsite so I just have to crawl out of the RV and go over there and grab a beer uh whenever I need [Music] one did I happen to mention that they do have a lot of uh beer here in this town oh just in case you're curious of course they have a lot of art galleries here too so this is the dancing Leaf art gallery they have some beautiful [Music] [Music] stuff likes ice cream see buddy oh that is so good yes he says fir weed ice cream is his favorite is that good yeah [Music] and then there's this I'm not sure what it is but it looks pretty [Music] cool [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you can get to it from here yes you [Music] can [Music] still e door crack while we're taxing cool [Music] cool [Music] a [Music] oh [Music] [Music] oh
