Taking Mount and Blade: Bannerlord To The Next Level | BANNER KINGS Part 1

my father was a great man an honorable man a man who had fought many wars for his kingdom however the gods were not kind to him and as our Empire crumbled beneath our very fingertips he was sent to his village he returned unable to keep up with the king's taxes and so that now Falls to me next in line to my father's Legacy and the man who will return our clan the Barka Dynasty to his former glory hey how's it going every everybody welcome back to the channel and welcome back to the start of a brand new let's play this is my 2024 mod list and today we're going to be diving in and having some fun so the main basis of my mod list is going to be set around Banner Kings and ban Kings cultural expanded the amazing thing about this mod is it really does make the mid to late game so much better normally in ban Lord the early game is basically where you have the most fun and when it kind of gets more and more boring well it's the complete opposite with Banner Kings adds in technology population city management governing a Kingdom Courts interest groups there is so much to mess around with and the fun thing is that is just the basis for my mod list in this let's play we have other stuff like dismemberment Plus for epic battles cinematic combat which will go ahead and enhance them massively RBM which makes battles again just so much better things like true Army cost which will make the actual like cost of running an army so much more expensive and we even have a mod called Kingdom strategic decision which basically allows you to actually command your armies again so this campaign is really set up around the late game and the late game is hopefully something we'll be arriving at pretty quickly obviously the intro of the video would have shown you guys a little bit of a backstory from my character our father was an honorable man a man bred by War however he wasn't good with his finances and we have inherited his indebted Village which is one of these starts you can do with bner Kings which basically makes you a lord of a minor Village not a castle not a city a minor Village so it be gaining a little bit of income however our influence will be awful so we won't be able to do anything with the kingdom for the beginning of the game basically so we're still kind of in that early game as we're not going to be able to influence the kingdom as we have no influence of our own however we're still going to be able to participate in large Wars and level ourselves up and obviously our main goal be to get a larger Renown to have a larger War band and kind of continue one from there we'll also have lesser page which we'll get on to when we get into the campaign so again that will limit our control actually in the Kingdom I'm going to playing as VC niic I think this faction is really cool they've kind of got a a feel of a like carthaginian Empire that's currently in Ruins and we're going to want to try and bring them back to strength the Kik are a ancient civilization based on the southern coast of the Paris and the Jade sea they first built Raza and later proceeded to colonize the entire southern coast they were renounced for masonry and ship building before anybody else dominated the Seas it was their domain the Canik Tres dawned with the vines of the goddess and again that's one of their religious Gods which is again really cool the vine goddess alatar guides veanic both in trade and war so we have some bonuses to go alongside that we do get a massive boom to our population inside of cities which is very very nice when we start taking over Sil and having to manage them that's going to be very important because basic that's going to stop the reduction in in prosperity and all the other negatives that come along with the new mechanic in Banner Kings on top of that we also move across the seas a little bit faster and suffer no morale penalty so we'll get a bit of an advantage if we want to try and engage any armies at Sea unfortunately there are no Naval battles so it will just drag us into a land battle but thei will get a debuff to their morale and we won't which is pretty nice and that's pretty important with how RBM Works cinematic combat and stuff like that morau is actually a serious serious thing you can break the enemy Army very effectively that way on top of that we also get cheaper Caravans not going to complain very less trade penalty probably something we're going to lean into money is King in Banner King so again the more of that we can get the better and then finally we get a little bit of boost to our militia not going to complain there uh going to fortify our towns a little bit more so definitely going to be a nice thing unfortunately though our troops are a little bit more expensive uh to replenish and also upkeep but I think that's a small price to pay for the vine goddess so let's go ahead and randomize a couple times we'll randomize boom okay there we are that's our boy that is our boy right there I'm not going to oh wait sorry one last thing of course we have to go with the shank scar if you guys have watched the the channel before then you know we have to go with the shank scar godamn black bit and these are going to be the stats we're going to go for I'm going to try and obviously you know melee is important especially with RBM and kind of leveling that up here is again very very important but I do want to heavily focus in on these kind of more intellect and social skills having them are going to make our campaign and again kind of our interaction in the courts is so much more easier so that's what we're going to focus on a little bit again having some trade skills never going to be a bad plan of action whatsoever okay and for our flag we're going to go with some nice carthaginian purple I always like the idea of that kind of being our flag color we could also change up our sigil color if I wanted to I went with this kind of more Sicilian um sigil because there is a caragan one up here but I don't know I like the idea of this banner and it it is kind of cool and we can always change it again if you guys like Jackie that does not look good you need to change it right now then I can I can be one to listen of course we have to go with the Barker Dynasty as a name and then I guess we'll find something uh pretty cool for our name Deon yeah Deon Barker a man who will bring Rome to its knees of course we'll play on the banord difficulty uh it only makes sense to as I am such a Pro Gamer and let's just dive in oh yeah one more thing as well I am also using a mod called twitch banman which basically allows you guys to go ahead and enter your name to be my soldiers on the battlefield so an actual name will pop up above their heads now this can only be activated when I'm actually in the game so what I'm going to do is make sure to join my Discord every time I jump on to record I will let you know on my Discord and then all you have to do is go over to my twitch type in exclamation mark join in the chat and then you should if there are people left over you should be able to then join as that character and your name will appear in the episode so again make sure join the Discord of course and I didn't even mention it make sure you Dr a like and a comment down below it really does help out the channel and it goes a long long way and I very much do appreciate it and let's say if this video gets 400 likes I'll do an hour special for episode 2 so as I said drop a like drop a comment okay so let's dive in now so of course we will take our custom start and we will decide on the indebted Lord right here we start as a Lord with a kingdom and a lordship title however our influence is reduced for the first 5 years and the village you own can be managed by me and and they also gain scholarship skill which is going to be really nice that's a a pretty powerful stat in Banner Kings and of course we have to pick our religion and we will take the lady of the vines right here the canic faith and that will give us some blessings and stuff that we'll be able to utilize and I think that's going to be enough to Boom there we are joining our joining our kingdom pledging our allegiance to Hannibal hopefully we will serve him well until we overthrow him anyway lesser page as part of joining a realm but Barker Dynasty is receiving lesser p a family will be able to vote on elections but will not be able to start elections we'll be able to we will be able to Grant oh sorry we will not be able to Grant nigh hoods and we will not be eligible to award thiefs so again we won't be able to expand our our hold on the kingdom until we get full perod which will be something that will come much later in the campaign and we also have uh the generous we've been granted the the settlement of yits which is just here actually cool we'll go and take a look at that momentarily so yeah as you can see we do start off with minus 50 influence and we're losing two every single day so it's going to rack up to be a pretty bad uh position for us we're going to have to grind quite hard to get that up and maybe try and find some other ways to boost that our court can definitely help for sure but until then we're going to be in a bit of a predicament so we are gaining some points in scholarship which again is a new stat and it basically is just how good you are at learning and improving everybody and there's some really good bonuses in here especially when you're trying to build a family so we're going to stick two points in that of our focus and probably stick a wisdom in there as well just to help it leveling up quite nicely we only have four more points I think I'm going to stick another point in tactics who's getting towards hord leader is so good 10 extra party size is amazing then we'll probably stick two points into stewardship and then we have one and one I mean I guess we do have to focus somewhat on combat skill so we will do that and then our final point we'll go into social I think that's a good little setup right there we'll accept that then we also have our our actual education as well can we choose a lifestyle yet oh we can we can do Siege engineer I mean isn't really going to help us right that's not going to be one that that really benefits us much whatsoever so we'll just ignore that for now we have no important decisions to do right there's Kingdom decisions um yes we can request full perod what do we need for this we need influence which is something we very much do not have Okay cool good to know we could call the banners to establish my own kingdom title if I wanted to rebel I guess that's kind of fun request a council position that's actually not a bad idea get to choose again we actually can't do any of these again we have no influence you can really see how this indebted laws is very much hurting us and then we also have our own um our own faith again so if we our Doctrine gives us some bonuses I believe fast as ship travel we get some Faith clam Renown which is nice and reduce our further let's head our way over to our settlement right away and we basically get a nice look at what we've got so this is our settlement right here which is very cool but it's not a castle it's not a city it's our settlement but I guess actually first things first I should show you the map because many of you might not have seen Banner King's cultural expanded so basically it adds in loads of new factions scattered throughout the map you can see this is all brands new I believe this is like a female only tribe down here in the South they have very powerful archers there's this really cool medieval Island Kingdom you do also still have Valia batania the empires Etc but all their unitri have been changed there's like this kind of broken Norse Kingdom up here and there's even this kind of very cool very Viking esque faction all the way over there and then finally there's a very very very dope Persian Empire off to the east so it'll be very interesting to see how all of that does evolve and you even have these Island kingdoms as well so there's plenty more added in this playthrough which will hopefully spice things up so let's go and take a look at our kingdom well first things first I guess you can take a look at the units we're going to be recruiting so we basically go into these kind of carthaginian esque Warriors which will hopefully be providing us with some very very sturdy front linemen we even have some good Pikeman as well these guys just going to be very very strong at dealing with enemy cavalry so when we invade the Empire that's going to be imperative but we have a lot of these guys we then also have Noble troop lines as well that you get from castles and that's mainly going to be like our Cavalry and our heavy hop lights as well so we'll go take a look at maybe some of our castles even though we actually only have one in the Kingdom right now which isn't too great um but for our for our actual Village ourselves so this is ours if we take a look at demena management we can see exactly everything that this demena has to offer for us so right now we have 2,000 people living here we have a cap of 2900 which is going to be pretty decent and lots of growth available uh we have uh full cultural presence this is ours is ours embedded we have a decent setup of surf slaves tenants and Nobles not going to be complaining there our economy is looking fairly good they're paying enough taxes I might lower their tax policy actually just to go ahead and encourage more growth here is going to slow up obviously the amount of money we get but I think we're going to be making plenty that it's not going to be a big problem we can also see the type of goods that we produce a nice little mix there oh limestones are very valuable resource not many places I don't think produce that we could also go ahead and go and capture more prisoners and bring them back here and sell them into slavery not the most ethical thing but something in this period that uh would make us a lot of money which is nice we can also take a look at our Workforce so right now the workforce is very saturated so we actually have too many people for the amount of land that we have okay that's something I'm going to have to take into account as well and try and sort out quite quickly I think we can do that by going to Village project and then maybe expanding with farming infrastructure by doing that it's going to hopefully increase the amount of workable land and that's going to in turn of course make it so that the there's more jobs available so we'll start working on that we actually already have a mine which is nice um which is kind of cool yeah that's all that's all good that's everything we need to kind of take a look at um there's the village projects we've done and we're currently working hard on that there's States you can buy to gain yourself a little bit of extra money and help with the workforce we don't have the cash of that but we might look to go and buy this maybe okay that's way way too expensive right there yeah getting someone to buy this would obviously increase the the acreage that we could work so you can see again all this detail is not that overwhelming like it might seem a bit overwhelming but honestly it really isn't we can also see as well that troops are way more expensive 2500 or sorry 250 gold for just a normal Soldier you know five soldiers is 1,200 gold it definitely does add up but we'll recruit some extra me and I guess we'll go looking for a uh for a little battle is obviously not a bad idea as well just try and do as many of these quests as possible in the early game normally in vanilla banord you're not going to want to do it but in this because there's so much more recruitment is actually really a good idea uh okay cool so someone is deciding on someone becoming the legat of the Kingdom we don't really have much choice on it so we will just let them take control of it again we were considered which is nice but yeah so he's going to be put in command of one of the forces we're going to have to meet all these characters as well go to every village and right now he's Gathering Legions uh to help I think both of the recruitment rate of the Kingdom uh so again we wanted to see what this was so what did he want he wants he needs help with briens okay we can do that that is just simply hunting down bandits in the area uh it's not going to be too hard whatsoever we gain a little bit of money but most importantly we gain extra recruitment slots um because as you can see there's a lot of them so again if you just need to quickly replenish your army replenish a Garrison that's a very good way there should be plenty of Bandits spawning around us for us to utilize again over here what do we have he needs help with it but we can't do two of the same I believe yeah we can't do two of the same but we can come back there and help him out and as I said it's a good idea to visit all these Villages just so you get to know the notables um so they will show up so we'll head down here to the castle I'm not sure if we can actually uh kill any sorry I don't know if we can actually if we enter the castle can we recruit here or not I don't think we can oh we can okay cool yeah so this is where we'll get our Noble troops which are going to be like these bad boys and I believe there's also there there should be like heavy hop lights here somewhere I don't know where we quite get them from that's where you get like your best soldiers from so the really funny thing is so none like no Bandits are spawning around this town for us to actually kill and capture so I've had to go all the way down here in the South and actually heard these guys northwards until they get this Quest marker so yeah we'll engage we'll be able to see what some of our units look like and of course L you better not have stolen that well we'll just Auto resolve this one but I'll make sure I get into involved in the next one so you guys can see Okay cool so we are in the battle now so right now our front line is going to basically be very very weak and not very good to begin with with but as soon as we get our first level up they're going to just upgrade massively I think their chest armor goes from having like 12 armor to 40 and they basically become professional soldiers from the rabble our Cavalry are also pretty cool they got a couple javelins and are very good oh the AI is just stra up routing okay cool I mean there was only three of them um but yeah we'll take them and we will take them back to our village to do the Unspeakable to them I don't want to say it again oh wait I didn't count oh my God only one of them counted okay okay well we got another one right here we'll hunt down really quickly hopefully we don't let them Escape I wonder if it's because we didn't initiate the battle again we'll just all to resolve this cuz they just run so it's a waste of time to fight it but again more people more prisoners uh maybe it doesn't count if you Auto resolve it I wonder oh nice a nice little hat for us okay we're leveling up a little bit we're leveling up oh we also have oh yeah because I did a quest off camera and it gave us some dates okay cool that's why we've got so much so let's go and grab this other Mission really quickly for the bandits again I think just doing these hopefully we find some bigger Bandit groups to actually take on um but yeah doing these are going to be really important but just for the long longevity of the campaign really I'm going to spend a lot of my money that we gain from our village I mean right now we're only gaining 100 gold I think it's definitely reduced um especially as we lower our taxes but yeah I'm definitely going to be spending a lot of our money on just improving the the town itself like constantly upgrading it there's our King as well there's Hannibal moving one thing I wanted to take a look at really quickly is like how how quickly does this build or is it just building in yeah I don't know oh sorry it's going to take us 500 Days to complete so it's going to take us a long time I wonder if we give them more slaves if we transfer some prisoners over to them I wonder if that's going to speed up at all I guess it's going to it will because it will improve the uh the amount of workers we have I don't know if I actually did speed it up until I I can't remember what the actual number is I'm I'm going to tell myself that it did oh cool look at that as well is this faction to the south of us our Al like they're not actually under us right they're the the Massi uh yeah we might be Allied to them actually let's have a look so they are the Massi uh yeah look at that impacted Alliance oh that's so cool so we're actually allied with them we don't have yeah we have an alliance in effect so an alliance between two Realms instituted a mutual defensive pack to help one another um and the rulers have of course have to like each other we currently don't have a trade pack so our Caravans aren't going to be making more money than than they should be that's really cool I like that I like how we've got an alliance with them I don't we've got an alliance with anybody else yeah or any trade agreements or anything but that's so cool so if we were to be attacked these guys would back us up which we might might need them to because again a lot of the other kingdoms are much stronger than us okay we also have a mission to deal with an army of poachers so I'm going to take my Force to go and hopefully deal with them they're going to be I think attacking this area right here so we're going to head our way down there uh to of course wait in and get ready to fight the poachers so let's do that this should be a bit of a harder fight and that's why I recruited a couple extra men but we should also get access to the villagers uh which should help us out massively um which will be nice and we have the Cavalry on top there's only actually 14 of them up we'll be fine then will be absolutely fine again I'm still looking to minimize casualties oh they just flee from us again immediately yeah I mean there is fre oh cuz of a village militia oh the king's here as well oh my God yeah so yeah if the king wasn't here and if these mercenaries weren't here actually would have been a pretty interesting fight but the king is here oh I'll take that of these easy wins you know it's just kind of setting the campaign for future success right there and we're getting good charm experience from all of these missions uh which I won't complain we get the extra rown from uh from tournaments I mean I guess let's go and try and maybe look for one there's probably going to be a tournament or two over in the Empire land so let's head off that that direction and see if we can find one yeah exactly that there is a brand new tournament here so we're going to participate in this now granted it's going to be a struggle right because tournaments are not easy like they are in in vanilla like this is RBM turned up to the max it's going to be difficult our stats are really bad also as well I'll show you the uh the Imperial troop tree as well uh which is pretty cool they got a nice little mix they go into like some banon like typ type soldiers they kind of like more Byzantine esque um I guess and again they look really cool we got javelins Etc so a pretty powerful force um to be reckoned with that is for sure so let's dive into this tournament let's see if we can uh at least go pretty far in it the main reason I want to do these is because it does help level up my stats quite quickly and if we win then hey that's not a bad thing but yeah we swing his sword so slowly right now oh nice good kill good kill on you and we'll pick that up and we'll go into battle so you can see as well we are also dealing with the poster system in the game which is one of the reasons why we are so weak is because our postur is is so bad which means you know the more trained soldiers can just tear us apart we're also not really piercing his armor with these weapons there you go right to the leg but you can see our posture is all the way down so we just have to play very passive right now and I know a lot of people necessarily don't like the poster system in this game um I don't mind it honestly I think it's fine I think it's a nice way of like just basically challenging you in the early game so we'll just kind of act as a shield for this guy and protect them let them throw their javelins and our posters a little bit higher and I guess we'll charge in to help out I mean there's no way we should be we should be losing this one I don't think oh good hit right there and you took him down nice and then we finished him off like this is a great way to level up our stats level up our posture and just get get us up there so we're actually a capable fighter onto the next round so again we're going to want to try and just like stay here try and bait this guy into a 2 one look oh my god look how slow draws out bow fire him right in the head oh you missed as well so yeah we're going to want to try and just just basically 2v one this guy gang up on him hopefully we don't get hit by any arrows oh no and that guy got one shot no okay it's over it's already over that was lucky we lost our we dropped our Shield as well I posture went down and I can block this guy pretty well but yeah just breaking through his shield is the problem yeah this is not going to work but we are leveling up pretty nicely I would say okay not going to yeah we were never going to get through that but we gained some good stats so I'll take that and again then one's already going to be hard and we get some better armor as well again we're just in our normal armor we're basically one hit but hey we we leveled up pretty nicely um yeah look at that nice yeah we we got our handling up so we're immediately going to go and level that up and we also getting some more HP can't complain and we also leveled up leveled up which is good so we'll take another point in leadership and we have a no point I guess we'll dump it into Vigor uh just so we have a little bit of extra kind of leeway there and let's head off and try and look for some more Bandits oh look at about there's actually a tournament at our home at our home cement we have to take we have to get involved in this one again even though we're not going to win we have to is anyone important there's a few Lords but no one else actually that crazy in the tournament if and oh God if these are all mounted tournaments as well we are going to laugh all the way to the bank cuz we can just do that and that's going to level up our riding so quickly nice hell yeah are you're friendly my bad my bad uh let's just turn around deal with these last couple guys I think that guy oh no he's friendly I'm so sorry it's everybody's in like blue armor uh it's hard to tell who's who I don't know what one of you guys yeah I think that guy in blue armor is an ally so we'll just hit him yeah he's not cool we already hit him once God if we lose this because I friendly fired I'm not going to be happy we can kill him and then which one of you is is an ally and which one okay you're an enemy nice and we actually hit him off his posture broken that kicked him off his horse nice so we should be to finish him off I think I've cut him as well so he's bleeding yeah he's bleeding out right now nice cool yeah that so if every tournament round is on Horseback we can easily win him that's a cissa that's not a bad uh weapon to be using okay it's not however this is the type of round where we can just literally Sprint around with RTS camera and let them kill each other and then there just not something we have to worry about and then we just go through in the final round so we literally just draw them in oh God he's actually faster than me as well how is he so fast okay okay we're going to have to turn and fight him I think we should be fine though until this guy arrives there we go cool nice ni actually got a kill which is good that's going to be a nice little credit and then this guy does just kill me so as long as you block at a perfect time if you block up the last second you should be generally uh reduced the amount of posy you're using and that should provide you with a better chance of actually winning these Jews okay so he lost his shield right there oh he got me okay he broke my guard but yeah again if you if you block at like the opportune moment you lose this posture and it kind of wins that kind of I guess exhaustion uh B bout so again need to bet a little bit more why not I mean ideally we do want to just win this from the the standpoint of gaining more renowned so we'll pick up his javelins as well because again our our our posture isn't great so any damage I can get to him with just a javelin or two is not going to be a bad idea or aim for the legs only doing seven damage though this Shield bashing back oh I tried to throw okay I've messed this up really badly yeah no as soon as I didn't pull out my sword we were in a bad situation but this guy is our our top tier Soldier so again his stats are going to be dramatically better but hey again this is all just about leveling up our athleticism which will give us more posture so it's not the end of the world back to hunting down Bandits now um I don't know if they will will actually fight me though like again we haven't had a proper battle this entire time they just all route right away which again is understandable because there's six of them against 30 Elite trained men uh we will just charge over here uh it do seem like these desert bands are holding though so shout out to them our Cavalry is going to rip through them so I mean it's the worst decision they've ever made in their lives but you still got to respect it you still definitely have to respect it oh I wonder if the reason they're standing is because they actually have a Horseman so they feel like they have a good chance maybe that's why so our Carri are throwing their Spears not very successfully uh so we'll move in and yeah again to talk about the twitch ban banman thing as well so what will happen when we when you guys join as banam is your names will appear actually above the soldier so you'll see whatever your Twitch username is uh will actually appear and I think that's a really cool way of doing it it's annoying I can't like um just have it on all the time but it is only when I'm in game so again I'm going to have to set up some times where you guys can join and kind of get involved in that but I think it you know I think it'll be fine I think going be really cool and I start seeing all your names in my War band look at that as well but boys are just marching down the hill into battle it's going to be really good when we start actually upgrading them when they oh God yeah when they actually start getting some good stats as well oh they're actually already fing okay yeah my mg is my caval is just finishing off look at that as well so with cinematic combat the AI actually flees when soldiers flee they drop their weapons they run away they cower they bleed out it's really really cool I say it's cool sounds pretty gruesome right you can also do stuff like this as well so if I form up my AR me if I press V I'll bang my shield and my boys will also bang their Shield as well really really cool so am of combat is an awesome mod I another mission done here's another Lord as well we will speak to this is the baron good to meet you good sir again it's good just to know everybody in the Kingdom the more people we get on our side the better and look at that we are we are dialing through these missions which are always going to be helpful again we're really setting this campaign up for a long run it's going to be interesting to see who we fight when it comes to Wars right away because we don't really have any anybody like we're super strong at killing like we're next to the azerai who have like double triple the men granted the aai the Azariah fighting the sirai queendom which are these gals I was about say Guys these gals down here so they're going to be you know busy fighting them we don't really have anyone like small to fight maybe the island Kingdom again this wouldn't be actually a bad first Target for us because they're quite small and we have all the bonuses at se so maybe that's who I'll try and convince the king to go to war with one thing you'll as well especially at the beginning of the game is like looking how much food everybody has like you can see so many dates cheese olives Etc but as cities start to grow and As Cities go to war with each other and trade starts getting disrupted the food becomes a much larger issue uh again food is like very very expensive or sorry very cheap in the early parts of the game but as it goes on it becomes a much bigger problem so I think I might try and buy some or and try and sell it like we are very much a um we are very much a trading Nation say let's maybe try and pick up some Limestone I think that'll be worth a lot elsewhere and then let's maybe try and buy some wine as well again we'll go up to like 200 on the wine yeah 200 on the wine so that's fre Grand uh we we spent about 112 on the Limestone and 200 on the wine so let's go into the Empire we'll fight Bandits along the way and try and find a good place to sell all this res all these extra resources because again making that money early is going to be really important North into the banan lands cuz I assume they wouldn't really have much I say that there's literally grapes right there okay I'm yeah I'm talking crap apparently cuz Okay no I take that back I don't have quality wine I don't have quality wine the Limestone isn't selling for a lot but we can sell this wine for a pretty nice profit yeah all of that boom look at that and we gained what uh but we gained a little we gained a skill point in trade okay uh that's fine we'll take that money and to be fair as well we should maybe look at some resources we can bring home like what they probably would have horses here right horses would be very good and then other other stuff that we maybe haven't seen Furs we probably don't have a lot of um yeah apparently they sell for a lot okay I I I always get mugged off with Furs but let's let's take all the Furs 1,400 golden Furs let's take that and let's head south and again let's head maybe a bit further east I feel like the Empire might not be as well off with Limestone and other resources we've also run into a little battle with the uh with some looters again really cool map this is one of my favorite Maps cuz you get to actually see the castle off in the distance I think that's so cool there's only 12 of them though so again not going to be a decent enough battle I guess maybe one thing we should actually just try and do is just straight up like just take out like 10 men to go and actually have a good battle against these looters because actually having less men just flee wow yeah our armies is too big I mean it makes sense right they're completely outmatched our Cavalry is probably violing us with so much extra stats and stuff uh that they just do not want to stand which again I don't blame them whatsoever okay so a limestone selling for a a little bit of a profit right we'll do that we'll sell the lever as well keep the Furs I think the Furs will sell really well in the South like really really well okay so let's head back home now again if we run into any larger banded groups we will of course engage them and see what they're about but it does seem like maybe our party is a little bit too big for them um and we're already making like look at that we're already making good money again our village demens is definitely helping us but that just allows us that to field a larger Army right oh nice we can we can actually offload the rest of our Limestone here as well boom that's really good so let's maybe think about investing in a little bit of armor again I'm going to try and be very like um practical with this because again there's like some 65 15th century armor here uh again we're going to avoid buying like unfriendly armor because I feel like it will just like make the game quite boring and we'll try and stick to some like decent decent equipment you know stuff that actually fits our kingdom and fits our look and maybe we'll pick up some of this better armor later on cuz it realistically it should be way more expensive right 21,000 for a 65 body armor that balancing just hasn't really happened yet um again it will eventually I'm sure there's a tournament here as well so we might as well do this again just trying to make it as far as possible level up our our basic stats are always super important they're like yeah no no I need I needed to kill about a little gu on my left but again we got a hit in so I guess we'll take it but yeah until we level up our stats that just not going to happen oh lots of level up so our trade has gone up which is good we'll go ahead and stick be cheaper price in selling trade goods our steward is leveled up to level two so we will take the yeah definitely the top one rightous experience for our entire party and we also get a nice little Boon for moving in daytime uh again we will take that and we have another Point as well nice okay where do we want to stick this Theology and lordship are going up lordship is pretty decent cuz that just helps you run a kingdom and the sooner you level that up the better so we'll stick a we'll stick a focus point in there in the hopes that it would increase it over time and now let's see if we can sell these furs for a juicy juicy profit because again I would be very happy if we could make a lot of money here uh 500 not great I can't remember how much we bought these for 300 right so we could sell a couple of them let's sell maybe like two of them oh the town's actually broke right now that's funny uh there's a Persian Hood uh I like our I like our our other hat right now oh look at that as well nice little Cape yeah I'll pick up that cape for 2,000 that'll give us ex good armor right that's actually a lot of body armor that's actually really really good again this 14th century helmet would look so so cool but again a little bit out of our price range for the first episode I think uh we are going to like make sure I do like you kind of just Pace myself with that armor because we can get our best armor right away with our village and stuff I could just AFK for a while uh over here oh there we go there we go that's what we're talking about boom we just g a bunch of skill points in our trade I love to see that a bunch of money our influence is so bad right now it really is Bar El is good let's go meet the sutan really quickly um just so we've met him and we know who he is is he still at War as well is he still fighting ing the the she tribe to a South he is indeed okay let's clear out this Bandit Hideout now again we'll keep our land safe for as long as possible we have a pretty decent setup with our men our Cav are going to be coming with us we have a bunch of archers as well so let's just turn everybody on fire at will and we'll just drop charge I can't imagine me going to really withstand us we have our new armor as well I really do need to gain some better like chest armor really badly let's just get everybody up here right we don't need to be too scared of them to be fa I should just go in and fight this guy because I want to level up my skills so oh God and we just kicked him down as well brutal stuff yeah I think I think he actually ended up bleeding out before I could finish him off properly there's even javelins here as well go on man I have a javelin or two I'm sure that'll be useful oh wow these guys are equipped with some pretty gnarly weapons look at that they have like big old fions okay brought him down I mean I wouldn't mind actually wielding that weapon instead of my own not bad at all okay we let's head our way down here we'll get our boys up here a little bit closer to engage them we did take a hit as well so we are a little bit wounded cuz I was just playing a little bit too fast okay three of them here good shots there by The Archers I imagine this weapon just just so much damage I need to make sure I don't get hit again cuz if I get hit again it's going to make the final battle dramatically harder okay we got another one right here oh my God yeah sword that rips through him oh right through the stomach oh that was brutal I don't I would not allow to get hit through the stomach with this weapon that is for sure okay good shot there by the Archer as well oh my god look how why is that guy's sword so long sorry what what has happened there why is that guy's sword so long I mean overco compensating for something I can only assume I'm interested to see how a man wields a sword as long as that is that supposed to be like a spear or something yeah he froze it so slowly as well oh my God something must have messed up there something must have messed up there I mean I'm impress it feel like it's getting longer by the day are you getting excited got the last Bandit right here shouldn't be too difficult to fight oh right from the stomach again beautiful kill right there God damn man I just can't go get over how impressed that is so I think we will just fight him out in a BW we haven't actually lost a man yet so we should be able to take this one quite nicely um so let's just not not fight with brigin and uh yeah just let's kill them I fight Brin good sir get them get them boys The Archers should be able to help as well quite nicely soon as we bring them down by the better cuz again they do have quite a few soldiers extra luckily though we have the length in our swords you know that's what we say about the canic people right the length of their swords we broke a shield good job yeah we just be up on him perfect o lots of loot as well lots and lots and lots of loot okay cool we'll take all of that a legendary turban okay cool we are now the legend so we'll put that on even though it's a little bit worse it's legendary of course you have to wear it the nice thing is as well this will also give us relations with everybody around us as well so that's going to be a big boost I've rised my Army up to 40 m because I want to start taking on some of these brigam missions right there's there's some really good missions which basically forces you to fight deserters but deserters come with like about 30 men and they're actually pretty good yeah extorted by deserters so we're going to we're going to take this one on um and it's going to be a very hard fight because these soldiers like in in RBM and stuff yeah 42 of them oh God I don't know if I'm going to actually be strong enough to fight them uh we recruit everybody here only gives us 44 that is a scary amount of soldiers honestly I mean we we'll try with the Villagers we might stand a chance are there any more anyone else I can recruit oh my God thank thank thank the lord we can recruit some Sailors oh my God but they they cost us two soldiers cost us300 gold but we have the money right I going to recruit everybody we're going to go up to 50 men and and Def fight this I think we we might not even win as well which is what's even crazier is like even with all of these extra soldiers we're still going to be in a pretty big predicament because as you guys can see these guys are fully armored they're deserted B power is actually just in my favor so this will be a good final test for our forces okay so let's set this up we know that they're going to have some very very very good soldiers so I think for the most part we're going to want to just try and force them into a engagement where we can utilize our numbers to our advantage basically we want to hide away from their soldiers and prevent them from really utilizing uh the numbers that they have against us maybe my archers like here and we're going to have our Cavalry behind to catch them because yeah in RB and all the mods that we're using in this play through like these elite soldiers are very very very very good and yeah they're they're super scary to fight The Archers look decent enough and then the Cavalry is also going to be a big problem this Cavalry can also just tear us apart if we're not careful so we're going to have to try our best to avoid that we do have a bit of a support Garrison though the reinforcements here uh again they might not do too much but any damage that they can inflict on the AI is going to be useful okay so oh the Infantry is coming first okay cool S I thought their Cav was going to come first let's form a shield W then and let's fall back a bit I need my Cavalry to get like here so we can hit them yeah I really thought that we were going to have their uh their infantry or sorry their Cavalry coming in first okay interesting okay I've already been knocked off my horse that's not good start and I'm already dead not a good start however we do get to commanders mix with some soldiers so let's go and do that get some of these javins off I imagine these beers will be doing pretty good damage okay we need the boys to really get stuck in the archers can now go on loose formation the Cav right here can charge yeah cry come in cuz be just are ripping me apart right now we need to get really stuck in here yeah we need to really start helping out getting some kills we're wounding them but we're not we're not penetrating the armor enough to kill them just keep it up if we can kill the Infantry but I can deal with the Cavalry fine and yeah this sphere is very decent as well our numbers are starting to play a vital role in this battle now enemy C is that enemy C no it's friendly Cavalry good good good all friendly Cav friendly Cav good okay the mg can now just come back let this guy out of the pit and I'll finish him off boom okay we've just got one guy left there we have some archers and then it's their Cavalry oh my God they're going to still do so much damage to our Pike man he is just picking away okay let's him down is that is that a horse I'm not sure if that's a that dude was bleeding out as well was brutal okay now it's this their Cavalry we have to deal with so we have two horses left if we can we want to try and kill as much of his Cav as possible so what we're going to want to do is we're going to want to get ourselves pretty dense on a like on a house so we can't be outflanked and if they're going to hit us they're going to hit us like directly on here is try and just just disrupt them perfect that's what exactly what we want to do just slow them up cuz this when the boys can really charge and they can start doing a lot of damage to them ideally we just need to Dismount them if we can like that's all we need to do okay come back come back yeah we we lost so many men there is the AI still alive as well you're friendly cool oh yeah the AI is live over there so I can see them interesting okay well cool we'll just sit here then for now we have a Pikeman of our own yeah we'll sit here they got archers and what yeah a bunch of horses left so we'll kill the horses probably and then we'll charge The Archers here they come yeah boom nice yeah actually bra bracing B Lance is going to be the way forward see anyone else they're going to go ramping around which is fine is there any more yeah we'll just sit here for now again I really want to set this up if I can yeah they're going to run away which is fine okay here they come again let's get the spear set up again we're just trying to disrupt them deal with the horses nice it's another one taken care of yeah if they don't start a chance in this oh yeah they also have all them long swords as well I really don't know what's up with the long swords I'm sure you guys can let me know maybe I have like a wrong RBM setting I can sort out that's generally the normally the problem okay now is the time to charge down rest of their soldiers we're pushing up their archers are just around that corner I'm going to let the AI take the brunt of the assault the reinforcing soldiers that we have here and then we're going to come flying around so like now we'll come around I'll tell my infantry to charge I'll set my archers up there and then I'll go and support them again we're going to lose a lot of men here by just charging archers it's never really the best plan of action but we should be able to minimize the casualties by just engaging them like this and every one of these archers we finally take out is going to be a Big Boon in our favor and this spear is so good it's such got such good reach and it just like yeah does a lot of damage when you stab in with it it's a really nice spear nice and rest of the soldiers of things we just went up straight up one that hell yeah good Renown good influence again the influence doesn't really matter but again it's not a bad idea to build up as much influence as possible and we'll take these guys cuz we'll actually be able to recruit them and again these are like top tier soldiers so we do want these guys in our party and we finally also got some level up so we can now start leveling up into our militian again these guys are just such a big upgrade uh really nice and we even got one of the the tier fours as well so a proper Pikeman and even upgraded our Cavalry as well hell yeah yeah I mean these guys again still have really long swords that's funny oh and we also got tons of loot hell yeah okay let's start equipping then this is what I'm talking about let's do that do we get anything else yeah it doesn't really yeah okay so okay we didn't actually get that much lo I was kind of hoping for something maybe a bit more we'll grab that hand armor I think and yeah the cissa would be a really good Cavalry weapon and is that yeah that's a really long sword right there the canic fine ziers is the balance one balance one is also uh very long as well okay so let's go collect our reward then you're welcome I will definitely take them do I need the money no you keep your coin I'd rather just have more charm and more relationship with this guy uh to be fair cuz that might unlock another troop tree yeah we're actually on a lot of these guys we've actually now unlocked the third troop tree and we can recruit some of very good soldiers now uh which is exactly what we're going to do because our army is pretty battered after that okay now let's head back and we'll probably sell what the gear we have and and then I guess kind of evaluate there's a big old Sandstorm there as well uh so because of realistic weather as well one of the mods we have on when we get involved in those battles in them Sansom and stuff they will actually be on the campaign map which is super cool is there any other better armor here it doesn't look like it right now Okay cool so we can sell all of this stuff then they have no money here though do they is there anything we would want to buy maybe like any big upgrades for like a sensible price no there's like nothing carag in here to be fair that does look really cool for like our Eastern carthaginian kind of style Vibe but we'll just leave that I guess I'll go to this town really quickly and uh hopefully sell some stuff here okay so we're going to make about 2500 gold from this bit is also a lot of limestone here there's lot of crude Limestone I'm going to buy a bunch of this because I feel like it's just super cheap and we will find a profit I'm actually going to buy it all yeah let's let's do that let's buy it all for 8800 gold well actually it's like guess like 2500 gold because we got be money from the other stuff uh we also got another Focus Point as well our wisdom is really low so that might be our main focus going on next and then I guess we'll s another point in po arm just to again continue to help level that up do we have anything else when it comes to decision wise I doubt it right we can't do any of this and we can't uh acquire a book or anything along B lines yet what about our lifestyle have we gotten further on anything else we can now do civil civil Administration a rare skill all about okay well I mean we can always change this I believe right quite quickly select the lifestyle each lifestyle is based on your skills you need to have at least 15 Proficiency in each skill to adopt yeah I mean I guess Augustus would be the one we'd want to do right and that's lordship so I might just wait I mean what does what does this do cuz you can change at any time right if you want to if I wanted to change you can change yeah you can just change at any time but you obviously just lose all progress oh you can also I can also do Commander oh Commander could be quite good so party supplies built up 25% slower rate influence gain reduced by 15% other than battle rewards okay and then what we get duration of De organization state is reduced in bigger party size which is really nice cultural difference impact is very good for keeping settlements loyal as armies lose cohesion which is nice and more influence for winning battles and party sizes increased by 8% man that's good what's civil Administration so this is settlements additional capture during sieg start this is settlements have an additional catapult and Workforce yields better construction not bad agriculture yields more and we get more stuff from Villages better quality yeah I mean this is ain't a bad one either we might just leave it on this one for now um realistically yeah we might just leave it on this one for now and then probably switch over to something else uh like I wouldn't mind um Augustus maybe that sounds pretty cool I mean carav Caravan seems pretty good as well reduced trade penalty yeah I don't know I'm sure you guys give me some advice Down Below in the comments that's what we're going to wrap up
