Taiwan Electronics Market has EVERYTHING

welcome back guys today we are out here in Taipei Taiwan and right now we are on some little back street and I want to take you guys to the electronics Market because I went there the other day I actually came here to buy a new laptop because the laptop I had that I was looking for wasn't anywhere in any of these countries nearby because I was in Thailand at the time but nobody had it it wasn't it wasn't in Asia region laptop and I'm like well it's an Asus and it comes from Taiwan so there's no way that I can't get the laptop in Taiwan just doesn't make sense so I got it it's a Asus flow x16 turns into like a laptop or uh turns into a tablet has a RTX 4070i 9. and uh what we're gonna do today is we're gonna go to that market and we're gonna get some accessories for it I got to get some sleeves because I have two laptops I'm gonna travel with now my old one and this one and uh I'm gonna upgrade my Ram too I got 32 gigs of RAM upgrade to 64 and uh we're not only just doing that today I'm just starting off taking you guys there and uh we're gonna do some other stuff today too as well that I have planned so enough of all this like technical talk about whatever but uh yeah so I haven't uploaded on this channel in some time and I thought why don't why don't I make these like long videos for you guys since like I have a lot of free time anyway between the main Channel videos and this so oh yeah speaking of which tonight I want to play this claw machine in here because uh they have a lot of like household products and when I went there people were like winning so they put like coins in and like they'd have baskets full of like household products so I wonder if like you're really good at the games probably get a lot of household products on discount and there's a lot of those claw machines all around the city here and uh yeah okay so we're gonna do some other stuff too so let's go thank you all right I found some claw games we're gonna go play right now I got some coins on me let's exhaust all these coins right here and uh get to it right now [ __ ] all right all right right here all right see this one it's like a well no they got like variety here what they got like these dolls what is this a relaxed time what does that mean is that what I think it is so this one's like uh a variety you got like knockoff air pods this one's just straight like chips this one's like balls this one's whatever that is um the other one had like like I said household items like they had Tide Pods they had like toilet paper canned soda but um I want to play this one right here what should I go for a charger no I can't get that uh what is this see I don't want to get this though all right we're gonna all right not getting that one this one might be I would like this like a 33 watt charger but the thing is these are rigged as hell like I've caught so many of them but then they just fly away see it gets it but it goes what I think you need to do is when they're like really really stocked up like say for instance if this was really stocked up you need to just hit it so it like knocks it over I remember when I was playing this it was a bunch of like Pikachus and I won like 10 of them on one go just because they're overstocked see it throws it Bick like that that's the thing it picks it up and throws it back but I said we're gonna exhaust all these coins let's try uh one more and go over to the next one storage box see like so Random see if that would have bounced off the Pikachu all right let's try it again so you gotta like rebound it no all right we'll go over to the next one all right maybe I should just try this one just to see if I could win it and see what the hell it is it says relax time so okay I do have a 50 coin left but I because I want to buy some stuff I had to Hitch to buy some more computer here so I need new Ram or I don't need new Ram I have 32 in my computer right now and I want to get 64 ddr5 as far as hard drives the new one only came with the one terabyte internal but I already have two four terabytes I just gotta transfer them from my old computer so I rock eight terabytes of turn off just because I'm dealing with a lot of footage and I have a lot of external hard drives but just having the extra wiggle room internally to edit off of a very very helpful and it definitely helps speed up my workflow especially because now I'm yeah especially because now uh I have this VR Channel I'm working with 8K footage but look we got like this right here [Music] so I got like one of these I don't know exactly which one that is so but as you can see it's all just computers computer computers computer computers see look at that oh that's sick it's like a little TV screen it's cool they even have like camera gear too here they got it all here I'm calling you guys so they have like game stores like PlayStation yeah like Nintendo switches and whatnot all right two things we're looking for uh laptop sleeves cases whatever you call them and RAM and then what all what other stuff we can find I don't know we'll check out looks like they might have sleeves right here mostly for the ram though I'm gonna start from the top I don't think this is it either it's just like an athletic story yeah I'm looking for like a laptop thing oh yeah right here okay all right oh like 16 17 inch uh Leo and City maybe I can get it installed here too we'll see no you know what I want to install it myself so that's what I got it's like a regular laptop then it folds into a tablet and then a pen mode too so it's pretty slick whenever you supportively edit but now I might because of the tablet mode okay do you install it or can you put in yeah 300 yeah how long does it take uh maybe 30 minutes or 20 minutes yeah okay okay yeah that's okay yeah all right I'll let them do it yeah okay I'll pay right now okay okay 10 bucks to install that's not bad at all five thousand nine hundred yeah how much is that because on Amazon it was like 160 for a total let's see how much it is here 190. oh well with installation I should have done I should do it myself but let them do it it's a brand new laptop I'll watch them and figure it out shouldn't be too difficult though there's like a heat a heat pad on top of it comes off pretty easy um it's probably just like a screw here there but whatever see that 32 ddr5 crucial 32 ddr5 crucial perfect all right so as he's getting on that let's check out what they got over here we got all the razor accessories that's my old laptop it's a razor blade 17. perfect and that is it that is it we are upgraded so you clip right in I haven't installed Ramen like 10 years but all right pretty cool this is like some Korea SK High Knicks Ram I've heard of the brand before oh I gotta plug it in no power no power all right so we got it the thing with this though is every time you open the lid you need to connect it to power first for it to uh turn on so we won't be able to test it until I get back but I trust him awesome thank you all right so we are cruising so this is only one of the markets but I'm going to show you like more around here too as well so let's go all right so here's like the Central Area like I said we're just in this building right here there's another building right there that's like exactly identical to this but the thing is it's uh you don't know what kind of shops you're gonna get in these buildings so you just walk up in there it's a it's a new uh experience every time what I like about here is how they got the outdoor shops too you got the PlayStation Store you know another Asus store uh let's go take a walk by there thank you foreign [Music] so yeah you can see like way down here too we got all these Alleyways down here and you can find anything here we're doing some kind of commercial right here oh I love being in places like this because it's like you don't have to look online you just go to these markets and they got them right from the source all right look at this before we go eat right under this overpass we have a skate park down here that's so cool it's like right in the middle under this so let's go check this out this guy's about to go skateboarding throw the kid growing up I used to always uh inline aggressive inline so skate parks always fascinate me because you know you grow up with this [ __ ] but let's go I'm gonna show you how like I said it's underneath uh the bridge right here the overpass and it's like within here too so it's all fenced off and everything foreign got the quarter pipe over here this is sick dude this is long too wow this is actually quite big I like how it's all narrowing and not too uh wide yeah there we go got a rail right here dude this is so there was a lady looks like she's like praying or something don't want to disrupt that but it's cool it's like right in the middle of the city one okay now let's go yeah select price and number of tickets I don't know the price 50. processing please wait please thank you one thing I don't understand about these Subways is it tells you to select your price it doesn't tell you which subway to go to and it doesn't tell you the price of which subway stop to go to it's weird first time uh experiencing that so I probably overpaid by a lot on this one so one two three I know two stops from here all right videos all right now we're on our way to go get some food we're gonna get some hot pot like I said earlier it's usually a meal enjoyed with other people but I enjoy it with myself [ __ ] it delicious let's go all right here's a spot it's called Heidi Lao it's a very popular chain restaurant or hot pot all throughout China so let's go busy as [ __ ] all right so that way it's gonna be like an hour I'm hungry now so I'm gonna take you to a different place still hot pot but this is like a la carte so you pay one fee and then you can get as much as you want whereas here you pay per dish so all right let's check it out plus there's like uh unlimited alcohol there too so let's go I decided to walk but I didn't realize so far of a walk this is the issue with me is I'll look on maps and I'll zoom out a little bit yeah it's walkable that's not too bad 30 minutes I walk at a good pace so I could knock that down to 20 minutes but it's like four subway stops away which is quite a distance so we're just working up an app right here I guess all right finally made it just across the street here so there's one right here which looks nicer but this one over here that's one we're going through all right you can run no I'll get the spicy so this is the soup and then we go and get a man I'm stuck on the wall so first and foremost we got beers we had a hard cider we have prime drink but uh yeah let's go okay so it's 805. 25 bucks expensive I guess not for all you can eat maybe I just didn't eat and drink it up all right now let's go to the claw game and see uh how many household items we can win uh Nanjing fushing [Music] all right well that was a good meal now we're going to that claw machine that I was showing you guys earlier not the one that I went to the one that's better than that one that one was kind of like defunct this one's legit I got 500 Taiwanese dollars which is like 15 US Dollars about roughly and what we're gonna do is I'm gonna use it all and this the odds are stacked ever so against me on this because uh I'm gonna challenge myself to see if I could come up say I'm miraculously come up there it is right there Sam miraculously come up uh with a lot of items and I'll count them and like look online to see how much they are to see if I can win more than 15 US dollars worth so let's go in there so as you can see it's kind of busy in there so like this is actually like a legit shop [Music] fun The Fun Zone there's a lot more machines and they actually keep them stocked so like look at this guy right here [Music] full of stuff
