what up YouTube welcome back to my channel you guys if you haven't already it would mean a lot if you guys go to like comment subscribe if you guys have any questions about this error or anything about anything in this video go ahead and let me down in the comments below it will mean a lot to me and also I answer all the comments now without further Ado let's go ahead and get into this video okay so I'm seeing a lot of programmers run into this era in visual studio 2020. now the first thing I would recommend is you guys don't even use Visual Studio 2022 I'd rather you guys use Visual Studio code just because the interface is a lot easier and if you're not building really complex projects you don't really need Visual Studio to just use Visual Studio code but on the other hand if you are doing more complex projects or bigger projects Visual Studio 2022 just gonna it's gonna make it a lot easier now this isn't a video comparing the two so I just kind of wanted to let you guys know before we get into this error and how to solve this error okay so how exactly do you solve the error of the system cannot find the file specified all right so the first thing you guys want to do actually is go ahead and open up visual studio 2022. let's go ahead and create a new project um we're gonna do a c plus product C plus plus empty project so go ahead and click that do next my bad guys if there's a if there's noise in the background uh people over at my house so um so yeah we're gonna go ahead and create this project [Music] all right so let's say let's say you want to go ahead and create the project so you have file let's say new [Music] let's say you say new file and you want it to be a C plus plus file Okay so I'm gonna write this code up real quick [Music] foreign [Music] it's not saying anything in my code so we can go and go and run it and see this air right here unable to start program the system cannot find the spot the file specified okay so for one you got to make sure there's no errors in your code um like right here um for one you want to make it eat Main get rid of that um so that looks good right so there's no errors as we can see there's nothing really going on so we go ahead and try running it again it says it says that again so step number one make sure there's no errors so once you guys realize there's no errors what you actually want to do is I'm going to copy this code um you want it on the right side over here where it says solution Explorer you actually want to open up file in here I recommend you guys using the source files it's just a good habit to have but you know I'm not here for habit building for you guys so if you guys want to put in the resources or header files it's up to you but I personally would put it in the source files so go ahead and just right click on um source files hit add do new item you want to make it a C plus plus file and then you can go ahead and copy and paste it over here actually and then you see how there's an error right here so if you didn't even add it over here you couldn't even tell where the errors were coming from but there's error on the C out it's because we're actually missing a library that we're supposed to have all right so now we have now we have no errors um and we actually have the file in the right spot you're able to actually run it now so you guys should see the shop manager go and yeah that should solve all you guys errors like I said if you guys have any questions let me know down in the comments below I really appreciate you guys watching me I hope you guys have a good rest
