This is a Native American Powwow with dance competition for cash prizes. "Sweetheart" dance is fusion of modern dance with Indian dance steps.
Each dance pair is allowed to make up their own routine. Jocey & Trae in black & gold "won" the event with a jazzy swing step. The songs are traditional, performed live by drum groups. ( I should have inserted a cutaway to a drum group ). Thank you for watching.
