Supplementing the cows and Vixen’s first ride!

[Music] so here we are at tractor supply we're gonna get some protein tops and head home and unload them [Music] [Music] i'll follow ya you hear him this way [Music] i guess that's how you do it [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] on the trailer good job [Music] hello [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay guys here at the second spot we're gonna throw off five more tubs uh so these towels need to be supplemented so [Music] [Music] come on [Music] [Music] well that was a super fun morning on the ranch super windy too it's always nice when the kids enjoy helping and we get to put them to work if there was something you saw that you enjoyed let us know in the comments below [Music] now it's time to work with vixen i believe henson just brought her into the round pin this day and just saddled her right up i don't think he worked on catching her or anything so he's just gonna throw the saddle on first thing and let's all watch and see how she does [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] so it looks like she's done bucking and stuff so henson's gonna start making her use her thinking side of her brain now he's gonna work on catching her now making sure she faces him when he asks right there she kind of faces him and wants to take off so he just lets her which is fine and it takes these guys a while it's not an overnight deal they're not gonna catch and face you after the first day so he's gonna work on this again for a while um he finally gets her attention she kind of follows him out right here and he puts that halter on and he'll get ready to mess with that rope of course like i said the rope um is something he messes with every day so he'll do that for a bit [Music] something i wanted to mention here is that these leggings that henson wears all the time might look pretty ranchy and cool but they actually serve a function those leggings are rough out and typically a ranch saddle is rough out so when you ride colts that rough out on rough out keeps you pretty sticky and keeps you in the saddle [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] up to this point he's just made sure that she's soft in her neck both ways he's gonna try and move her feet right now which is something totally new to her she's never felt weight on top of her back and moved out so that's a very new feeling to her [Music] now he's gonna go the other way [Music] you can see here she looks way more relaxed her head is dropped and she isn't moving her feet as fast and henson's got a lot of slack in that that lead rope now so he steps down and like i said from one of the last videos make sure you're up there by the shoulder [Music] that was a good first ride for her she did really well she should be nice i'm glad she didn't book with him on but keep following us and comment if you have any questions we'd be happy to [Music] answer
