and declare who he is that means you've got to open up your mouth and declare that he is king of kings that he's alpha and omega he's the omnipresent omniscient god that he is our strong tower he's our deliverer when we say exalted we're saying you've got to make him bigger than anything that you're facing in your life so if you're facing sickness and disease that means you need to exalt him as the healer if you're facing lack in any area of your life you need to exalt him as jehovah jireh he's the god who always provides he's the god who always shows up he's the god who always comes through if you're facing where you don't have peace and you're trying to you're you know there's depression and fear trying to keep creeping your life you've got to exalt him as jehovah shalom the god of your peace so that's when you say father i thank you that you are my peace you give me peace that surpasses all understanding if you're facing anything in your life that means you've got to exalt him as the most high god he's el elyon he has the final word to say about your life he has the final word to say about your future you can't give up right now you've got to keep going on why because god is not through with you yet he's got much more in store for you and so in this moment we exalt him because we know he's working it out for our good we know that he's causing people to raise up their use their power their ability and their influence to help us and so father we exalt you because we know that you are our source of favor father we exalt you because we know that you are our source of strength father we exalt you because we know that you are a healer father we exalt you because we know that you are a miracle worker father we exalt you because there's nothing too hard for you father we exalt you because you are the complete changeless god and i'm just looking for some believers in here this morning that trusted our god has the final say about every situation i don't care what they're saying on the news media i don't care what the statistics say my confidence my trust isn't a god who cannot fail and i'm just looking for somebody this morning who says i'm glad i made it through last week i'm here today to shut up my next week and to give him praise because he's worthy to be praised and if you know he's worthy i need you to lift up a shout in this race i need you to exalt his name i need you in your home to lift up a praise i need you to invite him in any situation that you're facing he is the lord most high it's worthy to be praised the lord most high before you take your seats this is our greek and black business sunday so shout out to all the divine nine but uh this month is national black business month and i know a lot of you may think oh we're just dressing up but as i was in prayer for this week the lord impressed on me to pray for your businesses this morning so how many have a business how many entrepreneurs in the house can we give them a big hand clap the lord says that he'll bless the work of your hand and so if there is a business owner that had their hand raised around you can you stretch your hands towards them and then if i could get all the business owners to just raise your hand because really he has to be where our help comes from for our business for our endeavors that he gives you wisdom and uh you've got to put first things first in every area of your life that means he's got to be god over your business he's got to be god over your business and so this morning and just not just for you to wear your shirt even those of you who are online i want you to pray i want to pray this morning over your business i don't care what the first half of the year look like god still has time do you know and believe that in these last four or five months of this year four months of this year that god can just blow your business where the the last august september october november december does more than what you did in january through july see i'm believing that god's going to exceed what we did in january through july and over august september october november and december for this church there's gonna be much more much more in revenue much more in harvest much more in souls much more and i declare the same thing over your business so let's pray this morning father we thank you for every business that's represented in this sanctuary and even online father your word says that you will bless the work of our hand so father we commit our businesses to you give us the wisdom give us the plans give us the ideas and give us the strength to carry out the assignment that you've given for our business let us not turn to the left or to the right but let us stay focused on what you called us to do so father i thank you right now that you are increasing every entrepreneur increasing every business owner increasing their vision increasing their assignment father i thank you right now that you're raising up people to use their power their ability and their influence to help them and father let them not get discouraged because the pp loan has run out or they didn't get it father you are bigger than a ppp loan you are our source so father we look to you so we make a demand on every seed that we've sown for our business and i thank you father that you're blowing in clients like never before you're blowing in the resources that are needed like never before and so father i thank you that you're bringing every business owner secret desires to pass father i declare that in this season that even though they may not have hit a million dollars in the first half of this year father i thank you that you still have time to raise up multi-millionaire businesses so father we thank you for the millionaire flow the blessing over our businesses and father we'll be careful to tell others that this is the lord's doing and it's marvelous in our eyes so father we get we commit our businesses we rededicate them to you do what only you can do father we thank you right now holy spirit breathe afresh on our ideas and father i thank you that you give every business owner the wisdom and the strength that they need there will be no quitting there will be no scaling back but father in this season you will open their eyes to see how they can expand you will give them a new perspective because you are not done with them yet and father we will give you the praise and the glory for it in jesus name amen can you give the lord a shout of praise in this place you may be seated there's one other area that i said we were going to pray for we've got a lot of kids going back to school whether they're going off to college and so can i get all of our students to stand as well as our educators to stand i know jojo is going back to school to uh this this is his last sunday i know we got some other college students but i wanted to pray over our teachers our educators our students one thing you cannot allow to come in is fear the enemy is doing everything he can to plant seeds of fear and you have to decide i believe the report of the lord and i'm protected you are protected that the angels go before you we declare your classrooms are protected that you are protected that you walk in divine health and so you can't look at what you see in the natural and let it discourage you you got to make a decision this is going to be the best school year that you've ever had so i want to pray over you today to be blessed as you go back to school that you have the wisdom of god there are so many negative reports but i want you to hear me when i say whose report will you believe we're not going to co-sign on the report that this group of students are less educated we're not going to co-sign on that report that they're going to fall behind that this group has lower iqs the devil is a liar so we declare that god give you wisdom that there'll be peace on your campuses and of course we've got our back to school bash i trust that you'll take advantage of that and tell put the word out take advantage of the hairstyles and all of that but uh we are praying for you and covering you in prayer so can you stretch your hands towards a student or educator father we thank you right now for every student every educator every school that is represented in this auditorium and so father we thank you right now that you are covering every student father we declare that they have the wisdom of god they have the favor of god with their teachers and father we thank you that you are protecting them and keeping them safe no sickness or disease comes now they're dwelling even our younger children father we plead the blood of jesus from the crown of their head to the soles of their feet now father for those who are going off to college we declare that their parents have peace as they send them on this next phase of their journey but father we thank you that you are supernatural supernatural you will supernaturally supply everything that they need father we cover their dorm rooms we cover their campus we take authority over the atmosphere and we declare that there will be no harm on any campus that's represented the blood of jesus surrounds them protects them and because they're on their campus no shooting can take place no no super spread can take place no plague shall come now they're dwelling the father we lift up these educators before you father we thank you that they have a heart for the next generation and so father we declare that their classrooms are covered give them the wisdom that they need to pour into this next generation give them creative ideas to make their lessons plain and clear father we drive out the spirit of fear and we declare that faith has to come in so father we believe your report that this will be the best school year ever father we declare all the provisions are provided for we declare that their families are protected we declare that you'll go before them and make ways for them and we will give you the praise for it in jesus name amen can you give all of our students and our educators a big hand clap you may be seated again i want you to take advantage of the back to school bash on today and thank you so much for being a praying church you know a lot of times we have our spirit sundays and we don't take a moment you know we just dress up but i i really understand that in this season it is critical that we pray that we can't get off of our time of praying and start co-signing with the enemy but we have to be committed to prayer in this season and so i really want you to take i've been talking to dr laura about what we're going to do of some different prayer campaigns we're going to have over the next kind of 90 days as we close out this year but i want you to be intentional about praying and making sure that you seek the face of god and invite god into your situations of course we send our prayers to haiti as they are dealing with the earthquake that happened but the bible says that if we will pray if we will call on the name of the lord he will heal our land and so in this season we have to be everybody is assigned to be an intercessor to rise up and release prayer of god our healer our source pray over our land and we declare we have victory in every situation amen can you help me applaud our apostle and pastor b they are back in service so can we honor our apostle and pastor bridget this morning so glad to have them in service and of course those of you who are how to apply your faith uh in problem situations i'll be one of the guests of course another one of apostles spiritual sons mr david monica one of the top earners in network marketing is going to be on there as well well so whether your business how to apply faith through problems it's it's it's going to be amazing so make sure that you check that out and join us on tuesday and that'll replace our relationship matters amen all right new light i need your undivided attention in in the house and online all right um you know we are approaching our 37th church anniversary to god be the glory that deserves a better hand clap than that we are approaching our 37th church anniversary and i always say this and i know this that we are where we are today because of the faithfulness of those individuals and families and and committed members of the light so can you give yourselves a big hand clap you know from time to time i'd like to update you on what's happening at the light and so at the beginning of the year we talked about how we started off the year strong and we surpassed our first quarter of last year by about one to two percent can y'all give that a big hand clap so that means we started the first quarter trending upwards you know you ought to get excited when your church is trending upwards because what happened what you make happen for the kingdom flows on down and so it's my heart's desire really that as we close out 2021 that we surpass our church revenues of what we did in 2020 and i know we can do that i want to close this year better than how we close 2020. amen and so new life friends and partners as i asked you just a moment ago for the next really few moments i need you to give me your undivided attention because i want you to hear clearly what i'm about to say you know each week during the summer i've asked you on uh to be faithful in your giving to be consistent in your giving so that we could avoid the budget shortfalls during the months of june and july that that consistency and faithfulness would be the key so that we could have a summer surplus and so accounting has a form informed me that we are significantly behind our operational budget and there's a summer slide in our revenues but to get back on track so we finish that we have to get back on track so that we finish this year strong and as your pastor it is my responsibility to lead us into getting back on track we can do that amen you know i always say this and uh i've heard my father say it over the years that the strength of any church is not exhibited just in the good times but when a need arises they step up to answer the clarion call and so i want you to hear my urgency in my voice but not an emergency i want you to hear my urgency but not an emergency you know in the past when our church has faced summer shortages leadership has done what i'm doing now i've watched my father do this when he was senior pastor and so i'm asking all of us this sunday morning to do our part to get back to giving our regular ties and offerings with also giving a special summer recovery seed that's what i'm asking you to do because some of you took a vacation from your ties and offerings let's get back on track and so here's what we need to do we need an extra 150 000 each month for the next two months to help us recover and get back on track that that so shall it be i heard pastor b clapping we can do it amen and so i need all of us in corporate faith believing sacrificing so that we make it happen you know i had i am so privileged that i have my father here as a sounding board and as a voice to talk to and so you know i've talked it over with the apostle and the executives and we are in full agreement that we can do this and so we have to start today say today we have to start today shout out today i know you got your mask on but shout out today so today we're going to start giving our summer recovery seed and here is the plan all right here's the plan i'm looking for 50 members giving 1 000 today we can do that matter of fact we just need 49 because i'm one of the 50. all right then or today or by the end of this month and this is over your regular tithes and offerings then i'm in faith for a hundred members to give 500 today or by the end of this before the end of this month 300 members giving 250 and then 500 members giving 150 and so we have three weeks to hit this and finish august strong but i'm in faith that we can do it today i'm in faith that we can we can handle this 150 000 today and so as we have released our faith for personal dreams i want you to be in faith for this kingdom need you know as you sow towards a kingdom need and you sow today to meet this kingdom need i am agreeing with you that the places where you have lacked because the reality is there are some areas that you lack there are some areas that you've been limited and so my prayer and agreement with you is that the places where you have lacked and been limited that god will supernaturally cause a harvest to spring forth in your life because what you make happen for others god makes happen for you you know next week i look forward to sharing the good report with all of y'all that we have met our first level of this kingdom need and so i'm gonna pray first before we give y'all know we normally do our ways to give but i'm gonna pray first uh because i want you to hear what god would have you to do today will he have you so at the thousand dollar level will he have you so at the at the 500 level will he have you so at the 250 level or the 150 level but let's all do our part and make a point that we're going to sow our best sacrificial seed either today or by the end of the month are you in agreement with me are you adding your faith with mine that we can make this happen and recover all let's pray father we thank you right now for the opportunity to answer this kingdom need and so father we thank you that you have joined us for such a time as this so father i thank you that you're raising up faithful tithers that those who have gotten off track will make a commitment even in this moment to get back on track with their regular tithes and offerings but father i thank you right now that as i've shared this kingdom need with your people father i thank you that they will willingly answer the clarion call and do their part and so father i thank you that you're speaking to people now about the level that they will give and they will give from a sacrificial place understanding that when you meet a kingdom need that that positions them for supernatural harvest in every er their lives so father we thank you that as we sow this special recovery seed that we are recovering all in every area of our lives the place of prosper that famine can be all around you but i got a promise from god that when famine shows up it is when i flourish and so i'm in my flourishing season i'm in my winning season i will not get distracted i will not co-sign with the enemy but god this is a season where you're gonna shine your light so big in my life where the world has to take notice that the people of god we trust in him without waver without a shame i need you to build your faith up in this season and understand that right now in this time you will flourish and have consecutive wins [Music] [Applause] [Music] that says god i'm trusting you to do this i i can't do this by myself but worship puts a dependence on him to do it worship takes it off of you but god i'm depending on you to do it so god i worship you i worship you because you've got all the answers god i worship you because you're my health god i worship you because even the doctors don't know what to do but god i trust you that you're my i need you to give it your undivided attention this is not an announcement that i'm making this is your pastor saying you need this for your faith to be accelerated and go to another level i am i almost want to say i'm pleading with you to make a point to be a part of the faith summit because i already know i can see something in apostles eyes about the faith summit that lets me know your life will never be the same it it's gonna be barrier breaking all right come on let's get into the world cuz i started talking about it i get to talk about it with him on tuesday go to romans chapter five just such an amazing presence and the anointing in this place amen romans 5 when you get there can you shout because you're excited about the word of the lord this morning a couple y'all made it some of y'all are still on your way have you all enjoyed the much more series i know y'all could do two things at one time so while you're looking for romans 5 can you shout out much more much more i'm believing for much more romans 5 17 has been our foundational scripture in this series entitled much more verse 17 says for if by one man's offense death reigned by one much more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one jesus christ this much more series is really stretching us to and stirring our faith to another level because we are finding out in this series that god has he's willing to do so much more for us and in us and through us that when you think god has done it all he's got a whole nother level for you not only is he a much more god but then we also know that he expects much more from us that he is really expecting us that to it really as a corporate church and as a corp our corporate faith our individual faith to go to another level where we use our faith to accomplish much more for the glory of god and so we've been talking about how god's pride he makes a promise to us at the much more level that there is a potential through us that god's potential through us is at the much more level but we have to pursue them much more with an unwavering resolve you know this series is really it's been most dynamic and i've been so excited every week to come and share a different element of this much more revelation and today i'm telling you this message is going to bless your life you know when i started studying and focusing on the much more nature of god i really found out that you know god is this you know i already knew it but to know that he's a superlative god in all his ways and that he has already established that there is none like him and that he does things in a big way and that his desire is for us to have the overflowing superlative much more level we get excited about that are you excited about him being a much more god then after we looked at him being a much more god we really focused on that there's a reciprocal principle to this much more that if i want to see much more in my life then i have to be willing to be a distributor of much more that i can't just be asking god for much more he's looking for the much more from us which is why we continue to do things and we have done things throughout the whole time to make sure that we are serving and giving and comm being uh you know committed to others the back to school bash is happening today and we really highlighted this in luke 6 38 because most of the time we read the first part but the scripture says that the way you measure it out to others is going to be measured back to you and so we purpose from that lesson that we're to continue our heritage that we have in this church that we will do at the much more level expecting god that he promises a much more return and so that's why we decided we're going to extend serve sunday then we're not just going to stop with last week at surf sunday for you to sign up you got the whole month to make a commitment for an area you're going to serve because god is looking for much more from you i thought i'd get a better amen than that because whatsoever good thing any man do it the bible says the same shall he receive of the lord today i really want to emphasize and and take our message and really talk about god's much more love to our generation that god has this not he's not just much more in stuff but he's a much more loving god that jesus saved us and he sent us to tell the world about his love and saving grace and it's really a much more message that can be persuasive enough to turn men from their ways to embrace the kingdom of god and we cannot scale back on talking about the love of god in this season see it's not just a message for the secular world but see and in the church world because there are many who have confessed jesus as lord of their lives but they trust in other things and have not fully embraced the much more promises of god so their trust is in the networks and in the stuff and all of these other things and they haven't fully given their trust to god that he has a better plan for their life i want to take you to a story this morning morning because many times at a crossroad you've got to make a decision of if you're going to go god's way or you're going to go your own way how many have you ever been at a crossroad how many at a crossroad right now crossroads are you know we've seen them on the street where you get to a point in you know you got to either turn to the left or turn to the right there are crossroads that show up in our lives and our tech story this morning i want you to go over to second chronicles because it's not a familiar one so i want to take a little moment to just lay out to you some common terms amaziah is 20 years old in 2nd chronicles 25 and he is he becomes king of judah and at the uh his at the silent assignment of his father and when he becomes king he then has the assassins rounded up and killed but according to the law of moses he spares their families and he allows them to live so he starts off his reign doing what was right in the sight of god he started off doing what was right in the sight of god he's following wise counsel of the prophet and then one occasion shows up where there was a border war with the and he assembled an army of 300 000 but not thinking that he had enough men he then hired another hundred thousand soldiers from israel paying israel a handsome sum of money like four tons of silver so he's at this point and after this large sum of money was paid and the army was on hand a prophet told king amazon that because of israel's sin the lord would oppose amazon's army if israel marched with them reluctantly but obediently i'm as i sent israel's army home forfeiting the payment he had already made i need you to pause right there that he sent them home and lost money and our subtext for today's lesson comes from this persuasive argument of the prophet where he says to him that what king amaziah was walking away from in trusting god could not be compared to what he was about to walk into with obeying god i need you to just sit with that for a moment that what he was walking away from could not compare to what he was going to gain by obeying god can we look at it real quick i know i gave you the story but i want you to see it in the bible to know i'm not making it up second chronicles 25 verse 6 says and he hired also a hundred thousand mighty men of valor out of israel for a hundred talents of silver but there came a man of god saying o king let not the army of israel go with thee for the lord is not with israel to wit with the children of ephraim and am as i said to the man of god but what shall we do for the hundred talents which i have given to the armies of israel and the man of god answered the lord is able to give thee much more than this the lord is able to give thee much more than this and amazon separated them to wit the army that was come to him out of ephraim to go home again wherefore their anger was greatly kindled against judah and they returned home they returned home in great anger and amazing strengthened himself and led forth his people and went to the valley of salt and smart of the children of seer ten thousand though this took place a long time ago there are situations that take place every day in our lives and many times a day when a person has to make a decision where you gonna put your trust in god i want you to hear me this morning because while we're looking at his decision do you have the strength of character to walk away from something that looks like it's going to benefit you but it puts you in a place of disobedience with god that if i stay with this i'm not in line with what god wants me to do but if i walk away i'm going to trust god and trust that he has much more after this see after making what they thought was the right investment they came to realize that life would be better doing things god's way see the choice to leave what you trusted believing that god would give you back much more and what you give up that requires you making the right decision at the crossroads of life this is this could be a crossroad in your health this can be a crossroad in your finances but today i want to talk to you about the wisdom for those who are in crossroad moments and you got to make a critical choice the bible lets us know in deuteronomy 30 19 that life is choice driven so life is choice driven and we will live or die by the choices that we make make no mistake about it if you are no doubt at some crossroad moment in your life this lesson is for you you got an offer on the table and it look real good this lesson is for you you got some people trying to influence you and it it it may appease your flesh to do that you had a crossroad in your life and this lesson is for you because your god first kingdom first base decision will set you on the much more course for your life i i'm deliberate on today because i don't want to see you mess up because what you're looking at right now looks like the better deal i want you to be able to trust god no matter what it looks like the bible says in matthew 6 33 in the amplified version but seek aim and strive after first of all his kingdom and his righteousness his way of doing and being right and then all these things taken together will be added until we'll be given you besides the first point today and i've only got two points so that i can make sure i have your undivided attention let's talk about the dynamics of the crossroad dilemma because there's a when it does when we say dilemma i'm talking about a situation that requires a choice between equally often undesirable alternatives it stands for any difficult tough or perplexing situation or problem how many have been in some dilemma situations and see when making decisions we normally consider the risk involved in the decision and the possible benefits of the decision if the risk seems to outweigh the possible benefits then we need encouragement from proven voices so that we make tough decisions and in life you will stand at several crossroads where you will have to decide whether you're going to take god's path which may look like it's risky or you're going to continue to trust philosophy and investment or an association with the hope of success see in these crossroad dilemmas you need the voice of a much more conviction testimony of god's word and god's witness that what he has done for others he will do for you let's talk about some crossroads the first crossroad we want to talk about is the crossroad of the salvation decision and before you tune me out and say pastor i've already made the decision we really want to really look at this at every level because uh this is the most important crossroad decision that every person must make see it's the decision where you decide you're going to accept god's plan his purpose and rulership over your life and i don't know what philosophy you may be considering but i can say that whatever it is whatever it promised our god makes a promise that he will give you much more see there's a philosophy where we just take out god and talk about the universe but if i'm saved and i give my life to the universe can't do for me what god can do so i'm not going to replace god if i've given my life to him at that crossroad of do i yield to culture and start saying it's the universe or do i stick with god see i'm not gonna buy into the philosophy of the universe i gave my life to the lord he is god or by himself i made a confession that there is nobody like him according to romans 10 and 9 that if thou shall confess with thy mouth the lord jesus and shall believe in thine heart that god had raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation god makes a promise that he'll give you much more than the universe so salvation in scripture carries the idea of being made safe and deliverance brought to a place of soundness in life see when you look in the old and new testament you see this term that refers to the various forms of deliverance both temporal and eternal so when you make a decision to be saved you step into a much more life than just going to heaven see that's the part for you as a believer why you need to listen to this part and don't tune me out because you already say no you need to know that there's it's much more than a ticket to heaven see salvation decision provides us for with eternal life which starts at that moment see your spirit the moment that you confess romans 10 and nine your spirit becomes alive to god and when your physical body can no longer house the spirit you will go immediately into the presence of god there is no purgatory to hopefully be prayed out by others there's there you know if you've made him lord there's no tormenting in hell but you end up immediately in this you're there in the sweet peaceful presence of the lord there's much more so we thank god that there's heaven but he promised much more here on the earth i need everybody shout out much more see there's much more to the salvation package see salvation is being saved from the devil that when i get saved i'm now delivered from the power of darkness because he gives you now authority over the devil so no hoax no curse no voodoo no shooter no none of that can harm you the bible says and the seventy returned again with joy said lord even the devils are subject unto us through thy name salvation is being saved from defeat i will not be defeated because once i'm saved i'm empowered to live a life of success where i'm more than a conqueror he always causes us to try it he always causes us to win that we are more than conquerors through christ jesus salvation is being saved from disease the bible says that we step into a healing covenant that jesus christ ratified with his blood the bible says by his stripes you were healed so that means as he healed the sick when he was on the earth our salvation positions us for that same healing power because healing is the children's bread the bible says in mark 16 17 and these signs shall follow them which that believe in my name shall they cast out devils they shall speak with new tongues they shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not harm them they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover the bible says he sent his word and healed them so not only does salvation being say is that we're saved from the devil we're saved from defeat we're saved from diseases here's the next one we are saved from destruction see when you decide to embrace jesus as your lord and savior you become a member of the family of god and you are duly protected from the dangers of the world so we can use our faith to deliver us from destruction and from tragedy tragedies we are not exempt from attacks but no weapon formed against us shall be able to prosper i i don't get in fear because i understand in first john 5 4 for whatsoever is born of god overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith you go to the old testament you got to look at this in psalms 91. i'm going to pull a couple scriptures out they're going to put them on the screen verse 4 talks about how he shall covet thee with his feathers and under his wings shall thou trust his truth shall be thy shield and buckler thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night nor for the arrow that fly by day nor the pestilence that walk it in darkness nor for the destruction that wasted at noonday a thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand but it shall not come nigh thee drop down to verse 10 there shall no evil befall thee neither shall any pled come not not dwelling for he shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee and all thy ways there shall bear thee up in their hand lest they dash thy foot against a stone drop down to verse 15 he shall call upon me and i will answer him i will be with him in trouble i will deliver him and honor him with long life with long life with long life will i satisfy him and show him my salvation it sounds like that at the crossroad of the salvation decision it's much more than just going to heaven then there's the crossroad of the sanctification decision i know we don't like to talk about this in church right now but many who are saved by faith are just happy to miss hell and know that they're going to heaven but and they sell themselves short by not living a consecrated sanctified life of putting the kingdom of god first see see this sanctification decision is where you trust god's plan on how you should live where you embrace his moral plan for your life regardless of how you feel where you put the restraints so the negative desires of the flesh where you know to experience a level of fulfillment that you can only have when you live a set apart life see sanctification says i don't care what my flesh wants to do i made a commitment to go god's way so i put my flesh under subjection and i live a life that's pleasing to god now i'ma say something and and some of you may get mad for this but the reality is there is pleasure in sin addictions i know we don't want to talk about that the bible talks about how sin is pleasurable see so you get caught up in the pleasure of the sin addiction but there's a whole other level of freedom from sin addiction that's available through the work of the holy spirit see you got to get beyond the temporary pleasure and understand i'm going after a freedom in the holy spirit that takes my life to the next level and when you embrace the ministry of the holy spirit it's a much more life choice see this sanctification is not about you looking spooky it is not about you dressing spooky it is not about you walking around with no makeup it is not about you talking spooky that when somebody asks you something you gotta jerk every time it is about you having a disciplined decision of living for your life that sets you apart where you please god and then the much more benefits at that level are amazing so i'm not going to lose my cool i'm not going to lose my swag but i'm living my life in a disciplined manner i made a disciplined decision because i want the much more benefits of pleasing god with my life can we go through and see when you please god you experience the much more benefits of god causing your enemies to be at peace with you the bible says when a man's ways please the lord he make it his enemies even his enemies to be at peace with him when you please god with your life you experience the much more benefit of god manifested presence see because enoch pleased god he experienced the presence of god that's what the bible says in hebrews 11 5 by faith enoch was translated that he should not see death and was not found because god had translated him for before his translation he had this testimony that he pleased god but without faith it is impossible to please him for he that cometh to god must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him when i please god he makes a promise to reward me when you please god you experience the much more benefit of god's fulfillment which is the ultimate experience that takes place when you delight yourself in the lord the bible says he'll give you the desires of your heart when you commit your ways to the lord and trust him with your whole heart he shall bring it to pass the way you get fulfilled in life is by you trusting and pleasing god with your life when you please god with your life you experience the much more benefit of god supernaturally validating your ministry as he did on the mountain of transfiguration see when god spoke he validated the ministry of jesus see when you please god with your life god will put his seal and stamp upon your life matthew 17 verse 5 says while he yet spake behold a bright cloud overshadowed them and behold a voice out of the cloud which said this is my beloved son in whom i'm well pleased hear you him the bible says that god put a stamp a seal of his blessing on jesus because he pleased him with his life when you please god you experience the much more benefit of god rewarding you with increase in overflow see when you decide i'm gonna be disciplined to please god with my life then that means he makes a promise he's gonna reward you you know we're it's you know this is served month and spirit month and we're recruiting you to get involved but see you got to understand when you get involved and you serve there's some promises attached to that there's some much more attached to that the bible says if you obey and serve him you'll spend your days in prosperity and your years in pleasure so that lets me know that god will never let your service go unnoticed or unrewarded but he makes a point in uh mark chapter 10 he says that he'll give you a hundredfold that's a metaphor that he said i'm going to do much more than what you give out for the kingdom of god shout out much more there's another crossroad we've talked about the crossroad of the salvation decision the crossroad of the sanctification decision and then there's the crossroad of the sowing decision because when you give unto the work of god it's really characterized in the scripture by agriculture terms of sowing because it's so dynamic and so many believers they make the choice to get saved they make the choice to be filled with the holy spirit and and and to be filled with the spirit so that they can live a life pleasing to god but somehow some way they get stumped at the crossroad of kingdom giving decisions it's like god i'll do all that but don't mess with my money but when you give into the work of god it's definitely a much more life choice see we should be willing to give to god on the basis that he requires us to do so but then when you look closer it's not just that he requires he incorporates in it a much more plan to bless us through our giving see we ought to do it just because this is what he requires of us but he says i'm going to bless you as you do what i've asked you to do see your offering is described in the scripture as a seed and because it's the harvest potential written all it has it's described as a seed because it's got harvest potential written all over it let's look at this for a moment because see i know a lot of times why people get stumped on the decision of giving is because you're looking at what's in your hand and you think about what's leaving your hand and you're saying that because it's leaving your hand you think it's leaving your life but let me say to you as the prophet said to king and messiah the lord is able to give you back much more than you ever could give to him i think i need to say that again for those people in the back is that the lord is able to give you much more than you'll ever give to him don't you get stopped on the seed that's leaving your hand he's got much more blessings in store for you can we look at so much more life choice that that's connected to our seed that's the there's the much more life choice of tithing that god says it is how we demonstrate that we honor him that he's the source and sustainer of our lives that tithing preceded the law of moses and when jesus addressed it he said this that this is something that you ought to do so tithing was before the lord law it was incorporated in the law it was after the law don't you tell me that you are not tired the bible is clear that we honor the lord with our substance that we are to bring our tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in our house you want the provisions of god you want the windows of heaven of blessings of god you want that not room enough to receive you got to practice the principle and make the life choice i'm going to be committed to tithing i'm going to be committed to honoring god with my seed i would not have the job that i had if it wasn't for the faithfulness of god and so god hears the tenth part of my increase because i know that you can do more on this 90 bless this 90 percent better than i could try to live off of 100 taking what belongs to you there's the much more life choice of offerings because the bible says bring you all the tithes into the storehouse but he also talks about offerings that we don't just limit it to tithe but we ought to be giving offerings that beyond your giving what you owe to god because remember the tithe is what we owe to the lord that we ought to be giving offerings to him as an expression of our love and and really this much more expectation of return so your offering is a seed and it has much more potential when you sow it you know who plants a seed and only looks for a seed to be the harvest no farmer puts a seed in the ground and looks for that just same seed to come up but the sower sows a seed with an expectation of a far greater harvest than what he sowed he may sow one seed but he's expecting that to multiply when it comes out the ground so it is in the kingdom of god that when i sow my seed i'm expecting much more from god i'm not expecting equal to come back but i'm expecting god to do exceeding abundantly above i'm expecting for it to be good but to be pressed down shaken together and running over and when you allow god and you give your offering the bible talks about how favor is attached to our offering the great thing about god god allows you to determine the return based on your giving he says if you sow sparingly you're going to reap sparingly but if you sow bountifully you'll reap bountifully god says he will raise up others to use their power their ability and their influence to help you prosper let's talk about let's close out with the deliberation for a crossroad decision because here's what happens you you you contemplate will god's plan pay off for your life so you get to this place where you're making the decision where you got to put your trust in god at this crossroad episode and normally when you're at a crossroad there are opposing options that have captured your attention there are certain risks elements that you have to consider at the deliberation process so for the next few moments i want to talk to you about this deliberation process because the kingdom deliberation moments are intentional see there are certain kingdom crossroads situations that are orchestrated by god as an invitation for you to follow god's plan for your life and as god intentionally orchestrated the destiny moments with moses and gideon and isaiah there and others in the bible he is doing so in your life so that you can step over into the much more life you know i love the story of jesus intentionally meeting the woman at the well he stops at jacob's well and he waits for the woman and it's her crossroad moment it was an intentional crossroad moment when jesus takes talks to saul on the damascus road where he says you got you can either accept or reject the calling for kingdom service and i believe that god arranges these crossroad moments and and even today is a crossroad moment to get your attention that god has so much more in store for you and i don't want you to miss the moment because when you say yes to god i know what other things that may be trying to get your attention and i know how they try to sell it to you but i need you to understand that a kingdom decision will impact your life and the life of others you go through the bible there is the burning bush meeting with god and moses that was intentional the anointing of david at jesse's house and that was intentional the angel shows up in the cave to take gideon that was intentional the prophet shows up at the widow's house in first kings 17 that was intentional jesus shows up by the seashore wanting to use peter's bow that was intentional jesus loves you enough to arrange these moments these intentional moments so you can take advantage of the much more opportunity maybe you haven't made the decision to be safe this is a moment where he's saying i got a better plan for your life i know what you tried but there's much more the deliberation moment in this intentional moment is oftentimes intrusive can we look at this closer because see you can either answer the call you can re rebuke the crossroad moment see at the moment you probably were not thinking about being challenged by a different course of action or a different way of thinking it's this intrusive message from god this intrusive offer from god or intrusive rebuke for that moment that interrupts things happening in your life can we talk a little bit about some interruptions you were not thinking about getting saved you was always at the club on time you weren't thinking about living for god you weren't thinking about being one of them church folks you saw other people be in church you weren't thinking about that but then you heard how he died just for you and and you were aware that jesus died and he gave his life and and now you've got to put this dis you you know you've tried to put the decision on but you got to you got to make a decision am i going to keep going my way or i'm going to trust that he loves me enough that he laid down his life just for me it's a crossroad decision you know there's the crossroad decision that's intrusive where you're trusting some abstract philosophy for your success that contrary to biblical things that you were taught and so you've been trying to work that but it has not been working for you and then there's an unction from the holy spirit to get back on track with god that you tried to live every kind of way because nobody could see you because you've been out in virtual world but you got this unction that you got to get back on track that's a crossroad i need somebody to shout out crossroad you you weren't thinking about becoming financially committed to the kingdom of god and and and you know the offering moment shows up and you hear the scripture and the holy spirit at that offering moment is telling you to trust god that's a crossroad moment planning to do something that you know you have no business doing and because you reached the level in life you could do it and nobody may find out but you know that if they do find out and this decision it could wreck your family could destroy your witness and you can't seem to shake that you know obedience is better than than anything that if you obey and serve him and so knowing that obedience is what he asked you for you start rethinking that should i go with god and trust that he's gonna make a way or should i get involved in this it's a crossroad you know you weren't thinking about getting serious about your walk with christ you know you kind of live like a half-hearted christian and you know you want to see us about working in the church but you're hearing this message today and it's on your mind and you can't seem to get this out of your mind serving in the kingdom of god that's a crossroad so it is intentional it is intrusive but it is also intense because when you are at these moments of crossroads in your life the decision-making happens in a moment of mediation and that's where this dynamic where you arrive at an anchoring decision for your life let the liberation we got the dilemma but there's also the deliberation moment that's the process of evaluating your risk your options your benefits against a trusted standard so you establish the will on a selected course of action and many times you don't have long to deliberate at that giving moment you don't have long to deliberate but let's imagine this deliberation is taking place at an imaginary mediation table if i brought a table out there are five voices that show up at the crossroad there are five voices at the deliberation table number one it's the voice of reasoning that shows at the table and so that's where you start focusing on all the logic and the real rationalization and you start thinking about statistics and the reasoning then there's the voice of risk that shows up where you start focusing on comparative losses that are at stake and so it reminds you of all the things that could be lost and the risk that will take if you go this way or go that way you got either to go with god or go with the world and so there's the voice of reasoning there's the voice of risk there's the voice of restraint and at the voice of restoring the voice of restraint speaks up it focuses on doing nothing because if i don't do nothing then i'll be all right but in every point of life you got to make a decision because life is choice driven then there's the voice of recall at the table where you focus on what happened before like this where the enemy tries to tell you what happened to other people before the enemy tries to bring in what happened but there's also the recall of that how he blessed you before and if he could do it before he'll do it again there's the voice of revelation that shows up the table where you focus on the truth and the testimony of an unfailing god it's that persuasive revelation from testimony that amplifies your argument and whichever voice the will of your the will your will believes to be more reliable and trustworthy that's who wins the argument at the table whatever voice the will of a person believes is more reliable and trustworthy that's who wins the argument at the table and it is the powerful voice of persuasive revelation from the word of god that is able to drown out all the other voices so that you trust god in every situation that is why saturating yourself with the word of god is so key so can i take a real quick cross roll because there's a crossroad and many of you may have dealt with it earlier where you're at that crossroad of giving it and i want you to think about this as we close that you know it's that moment where you start reasoning that if you can make it by keeping all of your paycheck how are you going to make it by giving 10 percent to the lord the voice of risk begins to chime in and for some of you this shows up every time you get paid because at this point you got more bills than you got money and here god is asking for ten percent so the voice of risk chimes in and it says if this don't work you could lose everything if this don't work you you you're gonna have a late notice on your bill if this don't work what's gonna happen the voice of restraint shows up and it begins to question why uh why rock the boat why start giving if you know how is yours how's your ten percent gonna make any effect on this big old church that that that five dollars is you know it's a big church it ain't gonna make no difference like you know i i'm how is this gonna make a difference and so the voice of restraint says why rock the boat now not only in and sow into the church but why rock the boat in your own life the voice of recall steps up and it speaks in it it starts recalling testimonies of others given into the kingdom of god because uh it starts telling you and you start thinking about the people that you've seen who started one way and went the other way and maybe it could work for you but i just don't know if there's been no saturation of the word of god with revelation the decision to reject giving your earned money is now made and you go another way but if there has been saturation of the word of god through the teaching and the testimony then the powerful voice of revelation begins to speak and it reminds you of the promises of god and the credibility of god and the accuracy of god and as you're reminded of the accuracy of god the ability of god the the awesomeness of god then faith begins to rise and you release the ten dollars because if he could do it for apostles surely he can do it for me if he can take him from a six dollar fifty cent giver to giving millions in the kingdom of god surely he can do it for me i will go against my reasoning my risk and my and my restraints because i'm gonna trust god that he's faithful to keep his promise and when you enter the crossroad to obey god in that area you step over into a place of favor increase in abundance because what he's done for others he will do it for you what i want you to see is just like we took the crossroad of giving at every turn of your life you've got to take that just make that decision that i'm going to answer the crossroad you know uh that i'm going to do what's necessary i'm so grateful that the when we look at the story of the prodigal son in the bible that he did not let the voice of rebellion in the voice of risk and the voice of reasoning make him miss his moment to get back on track with his father the bible says he was there in a hog pen and he came to himself so even in your mess you have deliberation moments talked about the risk of staying where he was he talked about you know the you know he's looking at the hog slop and willing to eat it he had to restrain himself so he wouldn't eat that and then he recalls that the servants in his father's house live much better than he was living right now and then that's when the voice of revelation rises up he says i'm gonna go and i'm gonna talk to my father and i'm gonna make this right with my father and i'm apologizing and i'm gonna get this thing right and we know the rest of the story that because he decided to rise up and head home it was a bold courageous decision but it's he was expecting the worst but he got the best because the father was there to just restore him and raise him up and i'm here today to tell you stop stop thinking about what's worse gonna happen stop thinking about the negatives if you go with god and what you're going to lose you've got to focus on what you're going to gain close with the story a story is told of um of a man that had a he had on his desk a thank you note and on this thank you note it was he had this thank you note that sat on his desk and um on on this note was um really it was from a wealthy businessman he was a real estate broker and he displayed this thank you note proudly because people would always inquire while this famous businessman would send such a personal hand written thank you no and so he would convince to tell them all about this multi-million dollar tip that he had gave the man he said i didn't have all the regular statistics and data everyone else had but it was based on my instinct in that moment i asked him to trust me and he did and so he made the investment and it paid off big time and so today i'm like that broker that made the investment i i'm like that broker because if you're at a crossroad moment in your life and you're trying to make the decision the kingdom first decision i need you to trust me i can list all the facts and go down the line but when you go god's way there's a bold expectation that he will do much more in your life you can go through all the ones in the bible if you really got a chance to talk to them they would let you know that that step out of what was comfort into god's way yes it was and they did it with no regrets because there was much more moses left the comfort heels of midian and stepped out into much more with no regrets and gideon's left the place of safety in the cave and stepped into the much more trusting god with no regrets david left the sheep bowl and stepped into much more with no regrets and all i'm asking you to do this morning is that at your crossroad i need you to take the step because god has much more for you stop looking at what happened in the past and understand that he's a much more god he's got much more favor he's got more much more finances he's got much more influence there's a whole other level that your eyes have not seen and ears have not heard he's just waiting for you to trust him and i want you to know that you can take him at his word if he said it he'll bring it to pass every head bowed every i close let's pray father we just thank you for who you are thank you for your word that has ministered to our hearts on today and father we give you glory that we will trust you father we thank you that there are many in here right now at a crossroad there are some even watching online they're at a crossroad of whether they should do it your way do it their own way father i thank you that today we seal that yes to you yes to live a life walking out our salvation yes to even give our lives to you yes to saint and live a life pleasing to you and yes to live a life of sowing because whatever we sow will reap in a greater that if we as we sow into the kingdom of god you'll rebound blessings back to us in a greater measure so father we give you praise for it now in jesus name amen while every head is bowed every eyes closed i don't want to be remissed in my duties of not giving you an invitation to activate this word you know this is our crossroad moment of whether you're going to give god the opportunity to do something grand in your life whether you're going to give god the opportunity so that you can take your life to the next level and that opportunity giving god your life really sets you on a whole nother path maybe you've gotten off track maybe you've strayed away from the things of god i want to day to day to be a day of rededication for you and so here's what i'm asking you to do today in just a moment i'm going to lead you into a prayer of salvation for those of you who are watching online after i lead you into a prayer father fill me with your spirit and your power so that i may live a life pleasing to you thank you for saving me i thank you father that i'm a part of the family of god from this day forward in jesus revolutionary faith summit i want you to be here i want you to do what you have to do to get here i have sons and daughters coming from across the country they're going to come i told them you need to be here something supernatural is going to happen now many of you you don't watch it on the screen but if you can be on the scene you need to be here many times we think we have faith but we're not in faith we know faith but we're not in faith and that is what i have seen happen across the across the world across the land people no faith but they're not in faith and you know i've seen people who say well you know you taught me faith but faith does not come by having heard faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing i was on a situation a couple of weeks ago with a group of businessmen young businessmen and they are listening to my teaching every day every day every day and these kids are on i call them kids they in their 20s and 30s and i guess i could call them that since i'm about 60 nine i'd be 60. [Music] how i get to be 69 y'all i i was just about it but anyway i'm with these young kids and these young men businessmen are listening to the faith message that i taught years ago and they are doing amazing jobs in their various businesses many of them multi-millionaires watch this [Applause] and i looked at them and i saw how on fire they were and uh of course you know uh the guy who leads them is gonna be on the uh on the call with uh on the conversation related with uh a pastor and i uh pastor uh and i on uh on tuesday and um he requires all of the people on his team to listen and i had heard around the country that this guy is teaching my messages and he tells everybody i got it from apostle i mean he tells him he don't just try to teach it like it is he says i got it from apostle and then the lord told me he says now if those who are close to you would have such passion as these young men had they would see an accelerated return amen and so that's why and lord says you must call the church back to faith oh see y'all missed it so you think because you know faith you're in faith you can know faith and not be in faith but what god has given me for for thursday and friday now friday in the daytime we're gonna have a virtual setting but friday thursday and friday night and it's gonna be different it's gonna be different so i'm preparing you already come experience dread experience something different amen because we're gonna have a dj we don't have praise and worship see i'm getting ready so when you get here and it's going to be energetic we're going to have empowerment as well as enlightenment everybody say empowerment as well as enlightenment amen and you're going to know how to apply this thing and uh and it's going to be amazing amen so i just want to thank pastor for giving me the opportunity to tell you i'm looking for you to come do whatever you got to do rearrange your schedule you know sneak off from work whatever um y'all know y'all know i don't lose your job now uh uh but come now if you owe many of you all cause y'all been here a long time i look around see y'all been a long time you got young men and you got your sons and daughters who have now finished college in business and that sort of thing or you know that's something work i need you to have them here or make sure they watch make sure they watch this i'm gonna give them something see the world can take principles that god taught and use them and get a level of success but god has those for us and that is what we have to do in 19 i guess 1983 i thought i had made it i was ready to stop because i was comfortable had a little bit more money than i ever had church you know was doing pretty good i was comfortable with all my peers 1983. 1983 my net worth was probably around twenty thousand dollars church building was six thousand square feet and i thought i had made it but i had an encounter with god and he said much more [Music] that's what's going to happen with you and god put a drive in me in 1983 and a fire in me in 1983 that has not been quenched and after the 30-some years of ministry you know we had we are accumulated oh my god we accumulated a million square feet of church property [Music] 500 acres of land touched thousands at that time we just had a community ministry and now we have a global ministry amen and praise the lord praise the lord y'all know on giving day i can step up and uh you know my net worth got to be pretty good if i can step up every given day and give a hundred thousand dollars i ain't mad at nobody elected a girl said i ain't apologizing but it's all because i didn't stop that's why you got to be here come ready to learn and come ready to go to the next level what i need to do now okay i think they're gonna come and tell us how to go home amen praise the lord come on brah and uh sister brown to realize the great things and god has so much more when we take you
