this [Music] so [Music] [Music] good morning praise the lord for another sunday morning another glorious privilege to come up to the lord's house to give him the worship and the praise that is so rightfully due his wonderful name our brothers will come now and lead us before the lord in prayer good morning from psalms 27 you will note these words the lord is my light and my salvation whom shall i fear the lord is the strength of my life of whom shall i be afraid when the wicked even mine enemies and my foes came upon me to eat of my flesh they've stumbled and failed though when hosting and camp against me my heart should not fear though war should rise against me and this will i be confident one thing have i desired of the lord that i will seek after that i may dwell in the house of the lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the lord and to inquire in his temple for in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me he shall set me up on rock and now and now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me therefore will i offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy i will sing yea i will sing praises unto the lord may the lord bless those that read hear and obey his word let us pray our father in heaven fall of our lord and save you jesus christ this morning i come with praise on my lips and a heart of thanksgiving praise you my father for who you are because i realize that every second every minute and every hour you are worthy of all i pray then my father we come thank you for all of your men and blessing we got so much to thank you for just this past week my father we thank you for monday it might have been filled with mourning of a loss of love for a loved one for somebody but it was still filled with your blessing we come thinking for tuesday it might have been filled with temptation from the devil of somebody but it was still filled with your blessing wednesday might have been filled with worry and wicked politicians but it was still filled with your blessing we thank you for thursday and friday for somebody that might have been filled with trouble and tribulation and and and and problems in our home but it was still filled with your blessing certainly might have been filled with sadness and setbacks but it was still filled with your blessing but sunday morning whether we're in your house i would listen to the gospel preaching some other means when we hear the word preach and we hear the man of god say i know he's all right we forget about our troubles and our minds stay focused on you because realize my father that you woke us up this morning and you didn't have to do it we had a roof over our head but we could have been on our side we have food to eat and we could have been standing on the street corner begging for bread you blessed by daniel's scene and unseen you've been good to us you've been better to us and been through than we've been to ourselves love my father we had ten thousand tons we couldn't thank you enough because you've been just that good you're almighty good god from the rising of the sun my father you've been good every day of our life you have been good then my father we come praying for somebody who lost a loved one give them comfort right now to be your will here's somebody that's sick right now my father realize my father you're in the healing business then my father we come praying for the pastor of this church blessing what he stands most in need of bless his family then we kept praying for wrong washington my father bless him and his family then father we come praying for the preached word may go from the back of the room to the front touch somebody's soul that might be uh needing your salvation my father save as only you can we realize my father you can save because one day you reach down in the dirt and picked up a sinner like me and save me my father so i just want to say thank you my father then my father wanted to thank you for the loved one that's that you keep your love and all the protection around them my father and father one day one day one second when i can't pray no more on this side ask that you meet me in that hour and cross the other to the other side so i can praise your name forever it's in the son of jesus christ's name i pray amen [Music] good morning lord you're intercession in prayer yesterday september 11th was the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack on this country by osama bin laden and the terrorists that attacked the world trade towers and the pentagon and the plane then went down in pennsylvania and a fireman who perished in the north tower has six children and four of them became firemen his oldest son carl jr i can't think of the father's last name now but his oldest son junior was that was asked how has he handled things he was 15 years old when his father perished in the north tower and he was asked how does he handle life since his father is dead and he said something that that stood me up in my den he said you are not dead never dead as long as somebody is still calling your name [Music] you never die you are never dead as long as somebody is still calling your name he was talking about his father but that but there's another name [Music] that as long as we call that name when they called it this morning on the east coast when they stopped calling it we started talking about it in central standard time and then when we stopped talking about it in central standard time they'll talk about it in mountain time and when they stop talking about him in mountain time they will talk about him in pacific time when they stop talking about him in north america they're going to talk about him in south america when they stop talking about him in south america they're going to talk about him in japan and germany and new zealand and australia his name is above every name that the calling of that name every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess whatever you need today if you call out on that name he's worthy to be praised he will do just what he said he will do come on sing that with us [Music] come [Music] thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music] lord god our father you come this morning in the midst of turmoil and strife [Music] crime and misery stress and fractures on every hand still we come with praises on our lips thanksgiving in our hearts because we have so much to be thankful for thank you for last night's rest thank you for keeping us safe from hurt and harm thank you for bringing us up to your house to worship because we need to talk to you we've already spoken to you this morning already but we just feel like talking to you again because we want to say thank you thank you for my mother thank you for my father thank you for how i was raised thank you that somebody told me the good news that there's a man from galilee thank you oh god for my old pastor who preached the gospel that i heard the old old story that jesus is mighty to save you then oh god thank you right now for health and strength what we have you gave us where we are you brought us what we know you taught us we give your name glory this morning because you don't even have to consider us when i think about the heavens the moon and the stars which you have ordained what is terry anderson what are these members that you're so mindful of us and the son that you would even consider us thank you that you had us on your mind thank you for salvation thank you for grace thank you for your fellowship thank you for your mercy thank you for food on the table thank you for somewhere to sleep last night thank you for your protection thank you for your healing thank you for your deliverance thank you for jesus thank you for salvation because on friday he went to cross for our sins and he died for us [Music] but early sunday morning he got up with resurrection power and we are here today to shout hallelujah to your name somebody's back is up against the wall this morning but oh god provide enough space between their back and the wall so that they can realize that you are god and you are still in control some child is stressing a parent out this morning give her give his heart ease right now make them to know that you still god you've got everything under control bless the word preached stand up in your preacher and give him unusual power that somebody who's lost and on their way to hell might come to know that there is a way that seems right but the end thereof are ways of death bless us now with what we stand most in the need of and then oh god we will be careful to tell everybody we meet that jesus is mighty to save you know what we need even better than we know ourselves so hear our prayers please god incline your ear to us and grant us a portion of that peace that dwelt in him who is the prince of peace even jesus christ amen [Music] is [Music] [Music] amen [Music] publicly rarely do you meet famous people who have the same personality privately as they do publicly i have reached some level of notoriety uh youtube and channel 11 facebook and when i go places people walk up to me and say you're so much more handsome in person i i didn't mean that for a joke but you are you are much more handsome in person than you are on television you are taller in prison than you look on television rarely do you meet famous people who are the same publicly as they are privately seriously our preacher is the same publicly as he is privately i have had several interactions with him he has asked me to serve on the board of the national action network reverend sharpton is on television on politics nation on saturday and sunday he has a daily radio broadcast he's all across the country and in some places in the world doing civil rights work but beyond all of that he is a called preacher of the gospel of our lord he's been here before he does not need any introduction you all know him reverend alfred sharpton hear ye him [Music] first giving honor to god and to pastor anderson and to all of you that gather and worship at this hour first i thank god for another day a day that we didn't earn or deserve too many of us get up in the morning like god owed us another day or like we did something to earn another day but i don't care how saved you are i don't care how holy you look to us all of us have done enough wrong that any night we sleep if god just checked the record we wouldn't see the next morning so i thank god for every day a lot of my friends get up first thing they do is check the weather i rarely check the weather because every day is a good day to me could be a good cold day a good hot day a good rainy day a good dry day good cloudy day a good clear day doesn't matter to me every day above ground is a good day because every day i rise i realized that somehow while i slept a divine decision was made to look beyond my faults and supply my needs so i try to do something every day to show god that i'm grateful that he gave me what he didn't owe me but he gave it to me anyhow then i'm glad to be here with my friend and fellow traveler in the ministry the reverend terry anderson you are blessed to have one of the great prophetic preachers teachers leaders of our day and his sermons and youtube ministries and all is effective way beyond the walls of this church yet he shepherds this church in a peerless way and as he said we've had several encounters and associations and friendship uh in in enforced enforced meetings throughout the last several years and got to know each other and that's why uh i was listening when he talked about how people would see him and come up to him and i remember that happened in houston he and i was going somewhere to have a bite and a lady came over and said that he saw and she saw and that we look better and all of that and she said after he thanked her she said but i was talking to you reverend sharpton i wasn't talking i just thought since he told a story i would finish the story for you could only do that with friends i want you to turn this morning to second kings the second chapter let's start at the sixth through the thirteenth and it reads and elijah said unto him terry i prayed thee here for the lord hath sent me to jordan and he said as the lord liveth and as thy soul liveth i will not leave thee and they too went on and fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood the viewer far off and they too stood by jordan and elijah took his mantle and wrapped it together and smote the waters and they were divided hither and death so that they too went over on dry ground and it came to pass when they were gone over that elijah said unto elisha ask what i shall do for thee before i be taken away from thee and elisha said i pray thee let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me and he said thou has asked a hard thing nevertheless if thou see me when i am taken from thee it shall be so unto thee but if not it shall not be so and it came to pass as they still went on and talked that behold they appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire and parted them both asunder and elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven and elisha saw it and he cried my father my father the chariots of israel and the horsemen thereof and he saw him no more and he took hold of his own clothes and rent them in two pieces he took also the mantle of elijah that fell from him and went back and stood by the bank of jordan may god add a blessing to the reading of his word i want to use for a thought this morning you are out of line you are out of line one of the things that you do in life as you grow in age and hopefully wisdom is begin to trace and track the meaning of your life at some point in life as you get on the other side of what based on your family history is the halfway point of life you start thinking about what your legacy or what your meaning of life will be when you're younger you feel you have time to do whatever but the older you get the more you know that you may have had more yesterdays than tomorrows and as you review life one of the things that sticks out to me is that the costs that you take is more blessed by things you had nothing to do with that you didn't arrange that you didn't plan that you didn't strategize but somehow they happen and they became the defining moments of your journey the things that you and i plotted on we know how they happen but the things that just happened and exalted you or hurt you or the things that you couldn't see coming that only god could have made happen life has its jolts that are rather you and then it has its blessings that will exalt you i travel a lot and one of the things that i've learned flying is even last night flying into houston the pilot will say the flight will be three hours and 15 minutes and there'll be smooth air but about two hours in we started getting some turbulence and it reminded me of life the thing that bothers you most in life is the turbulence and trouble that you didn't see coming if somebody told you that somebody was gonna backstab you you'd have got prepared if somebody told you that somebody was going to deceive you you'd have been ready if somebody told you that your mate was going to break your heart you'd have been busted up but when it was not something you saw coming is what rattles you and affects you more than anything but then your life is not one that is defined by the incidence your life is defined by what you supposed to be about mark twain had a saying that resonated with me he said the two most important moments in life is the moment you're born and the moment you find out why you were born and most of us sitting here today run away from why we were born and we try to go from temporary uh uh moments of of of exaltation rather than dealing with what is the meaning of my journey well that's why if i read the bible correctly god always operated from one generation to another with continuity and the way you could tell a prophet in the bible is they always referred to the prophets before them saying is there is always a line with god so if everybody that shaped history if everybody that shaped the bible is in line then why do you think that god stopped the world to make you out of line i mean why all of a sudden do you think all of creation was made waiting on you you don't believe in nothing you don't stand for nothing you're gonna break from whatever the tradition you was born in and you want to be in the name of being unique and innovative and different you get out of line and when you get out of line then you get out of the blessing of the lineage that god put you in nobody born that is in this place from the pulpit to the choir stand to the door decided on their parents on their circumstances on their race or their gender nobody asked you before you got here what kind of parents you want you want to be black white latino asian you want to be male or female none of that was decided by you when you were born you were born with your identity and you didn't choose that identity your height your fingerprint all of that was decided by you which must mean that if god decided to put you in a certain situation he had decided that he wanted you to be blessed and a blessing in that situation so what you trying to figure out most of it was already figured out you sit around trying to give yourself therapy rather than to submit and understand that if you follow the will of god you will be fulfilled because he already set a course for you uh just two weeks ago we had a big march in washington on voter rights and some people came from all over the country and joined martin luther king iii and i as we marched around they are having repressive laws on voting starting with the state of texas and before we had to march martin iii and i had met with several senators and we said the law here that governor abbott is signed and the laws and georgia and others were wrong and were breaking down what martin's father dr king and john lewis and others did and i was startled that one southern senator said to me he said well i'm on the other side he said but i want you to know reverend now if i were you i'd be doing exactly what you're doing because he comes from the lineage of those that never wanted us to vote and i come from the lineage of those that always had to fight to vote and go keep fighting now we are called but we're never called out of line that's why uh when i see some of these preachers that come and try and swoop you up with a new kind of ministry that is more about gimmicks than gospel [Applause] there's more about profiteering than prophecy and people get tricked because you want a feel good rather than one that will make you be good [Applause] so the church they buried your grandma they married your daughter that stood by you during hard times it's not exciting enough for you you need some thrilling thing you need something that'll turn you on that can do hip-hop in the pulpit but when trouble comes when the turbulence disturbs your flight you're gonna find out you out of line when something unforeseen wrecks you you're gonna find out you're out of line i i i remember several years ago i got on some of my friends in the hip-hop community saying that you know i grew up james brown was like a father to me to godfather's soul and others and i i believe that y'all are getting too far out there using the n-word and the h-word and the b-word i said that's out of line we fought against other folk calling us that now you gonna call it that yourself and rem anderson i i remember they fought and debated me got on tv said that i was wrong they got the right to say whatever they wanted and they called to meet with me and we met at one of the record executives house and one of them said to me i'll say what i want to say i got the right to say it i said well let me ask you a question if you go in the studio and call anybody else out their name if you call irish out the name they won't put the record out if you call jews out the name you can't put the record out you call polish out the name you can't put the record out so let me get this right if it comes to the irish civil rights comes to the to the jews and and it comes to the greek and it comes into others but it comes to you you the only one that got the right to call yourself the n-word one long after that i was up i get up early morning and work out and read the internet and read papers and i read the internet this particular morning this same rapper that was arguing with me got busted out west coast about two days later he called me right now i said yes sir he said yeah you know i had a little problem i said yeah i read about it he said yeah man they they they busted me wasn't right i said yeah i read about it he said and i need your help i said you need my help he said yeah i need your help they violated my civil rights i told them ain't got no civil rights [Applause] you can't get out of line and then want the blessings of those that stay in line those officials in this state that stood up and went to washington trying to block a bill or in line with those that fought to get us the right to vote in the first place [Applause] you're not in austin because somebody invited you there you're there because people went to jail and suffered and some even went to their grave to sponsor you to be a legislator in texas [Applause] don't forget where you come from and don't forget how you got where you got i often tell a story about i debated a man a self-described black conservative and i never get he said one day in the debate he said you know reverend al i'm not into all this marching and protesting stuff you do he said look at my resume i went to the best schools i'm a member the right fraternities i have the right connection sit on the right boards civil rights didn't make my resume didn't write my resume martian didn't write my resume i took the resume i looked i said it is very impressive you are the right you did go to the right schools you dealt become a member of the right fraternities you do sit on the right boards it's a very impressive resume and you're right civil rights did not write your resume but civil rights made somebody read your resume [Applause] you ain't the first qualified negro in america you ain't the first smart negro in america they've been smart negroes since slavery but some unleaded uneducated grandmas laid down in birmingham and opened up the gates of them universities for you [Applause] and now you got downtown and got you a little office and a little secretary you forgot the grandma that scrubbed flaws for you and made a way for you you have a line [Applause] so going to my text elijah went to elijah he wasn't like a lot of these young preachers today that go to church every week hoping that the pastor is sick or telling him he's old and i should be the next one and romance and the deacons he came in line and said to elijah what is it that you have for me elijah said walk on the left 50 of those sons of prophets standing off and the bible said i read the text that elijah took his mantle see when it's time for you god's gonna set up the transition you ain't got to apply he's already there say he took his mantle and put it down and dry land came in the jordan the same jordan that it opened up for joshua there is a continuation dry land in the jordan was con continuity and elijah said i'm going to tell you something i'm gonna first ask you what is it that you want from me he said i want a double portion of your spirit he didn't say i want the new thing he didn't say i want to try something else i want the same spirit that brought you through the spirit that had you do miracles the spirit that made you lift the people that was down i want that spirit in me so it can continue [Applause] and elijah said well i tell you what i will soon depart if you see me after i depart then you don't have that spirit but if you don't see me no more it's because that spirit is in you yes some of y'all want the new thing some of y'all want the latest record and the latest trending things but i want grandma's spirit i want mama's spirit [Applause] i want a double portion of the ones that came from the back of the bus to the front of the white house i want a double portion of that [Applause] somebody asked me the other day during the documentary on the sir mal you were mentored by great folks where nyt walker was dr king's right hand mrs king spent a lot of time with me jesse jackson was a mentor so who was the greatest influence in your life i said well all of them taught me a lot and i certainly took a lot and extracted a lot from them and others i said but the greatest influence was my mother my mother didn't get to high school my mother didn't know nothing about theology or activism but my mother when my father left kept me and my sister together we couldn't pay bills even father left us in a nice house with a cadillac to come repossess the cadillac turn the lights and utilities off but mama never complained she kept on and she taught us that god would make a way and she taught us that just like we used to have a cadillac and now we're on the subway don't worry about it that god will be faithful if we're faithful to god [Applause] and my mother had that mary kind of faith [Music] mary kind of faith i i told rome anderson this before mary had a unique kind of faith you know we do the seven last words every good friday and there was always the one of the words that bothered me anderson it was the word where jesus said woman behold our son son behold our mother that always bothered me you know we say it and all of that but it always bothered me and as i got older i got a little more courage and i figured i was going to get this off me and i sat down early one morning and i wrote a cosmic email to mary you know some things you just got to get off your chest so dear mary didn't remember my al i've been a boy preacher i'm older now and it always bothered me that part where he's jesus said on the cross woman behold our son and the bible said then you went on off and i can't understand how you could leave your son dying on the cross how could he i mean he was bleeding he was there charged with no crime crown would a crown of thorns mock spat at asks for water getting vinegar how could you as a mother walk away when he said behold our son and the bible says you behold and you went on off with one of the disciples and i just thought i'd let you know that i i can't understand that signed reverend allen i hit send and sent my cosmic email off but to my surprise a few hours later i got a cosmic email back he said dear real mal this is mary i usually don't answer questions or criticism but since i feel that you were well intentioned i'd explain to you what happened that morning the setting you gave was right yes i was there some of my girlfriends were there and yes we were heartbroken watching my son on that cross some of his disciples was there even peter was ducking and dodging and hiding and saying he didn't know my son and i saw some of the pharisees there that had called for his prosecution i saw the roman soldiers there that proudly harshed him up on the cross i looked for some of those that he fed with two fishes and a few loaves of bread and none of them were there i looked for bartimaeus to be there who he'd given sight bartimaeus didn't show up sadly the man that was laying by the pool of bethesda would show up in protest but he was absent [Music] and i watched my son there my girlfriends were hoping for a last-minute miracle that somehow he'd be swooped up off the cross some of the disciples was peeking and wondering how this would all end but when he said behold my son that is when i got ready to go and the reason i could go is i was the only one at calvary that morning and all the people that i named in the setting i was the only one at calvary that had been at bethlehem 33 years earlier you forget i had him when i didn't know a man i wasn't at calvary guessing who he was i knew who he was when you think about something you calculated when you guessed about something you hoped for the best but i know that god put him in my womb and he was god's son and i had to leave the crucifixion early to get my hat done for the resurrection [Applause] [Music] [Applause] was hoping that he'd get up some was thinking that he'd get up but i knew he was gonna get up [Music] [Applause] i thought i'd come by lily grove this morning to tell you that i don't care what you see on the television i stay in line with the god that brought me with the god that taught me with the god that never left me he knows much i can bear and sometimes the road gets rough sometimes my critics get loud sometimes it look like i can't make it but if i stay in line like elijah did he'll make a way he'll make a way he'll make a way yes he will yes he will yes yes i want you to know if you're out of line today to get back in line that brought you this far in line with grandma taught you in line with mama taught you in line the dry tears from your eyes in light that brought you this far he brought me from a mighty long way he walks with me he talks with me he tells me that i'm his own he's been fooled and i'm hungry he been watered when i'm thirsty he's my rock my sword and shield my wheel my wheel my wheel in the middle of the wheel he's the lilith of the valley the bright and morning star he woke me up this morning started me on the way yes yes yes i want you to know in my life i've had to cry sometime in my life i've walked alone sometime i've been lied on cheated i've been talked about i've been mistreated i've been up anderson i've been down i've been leveled to the ground but through it all through it all through it all through it all i to trust in jesus i've learned to trust in god through it all through it all i i i i i've learned to depend on his word he'll make a way he'll make a way yes he will yes he will you know i came in today following my brother pastor anderson i heard the choir singing i saw the man leading i wish i had that gift but god didn't give me that gift but sometimes in the midnight hours after my cell phone quiets down after nobody ring the doorbell i go out in my living room all by myself and i sing my song i can't sing to lead the quiet hymns i can't sing solo for the ten o'clock service but i sing because i'm happy i sing because i'm free his eyes his eyes his eyes is on the sparrow i i know he watches me yes yes yes yes yes yes [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] amen amen our brothers are standing now and maybe there's somebody here whose life is out of line you are outside the will of god for your life if being in church is right then being out of church must be wrong you know what god's will is for your life and if you're here today and you're visiting our church and you're not a member of any church we invite you to come right now or maybe this is the first time you've heard the gospel and it has really penetrated your heart and you want to know jesus christ as your savior you don't have a bible you don't know any scriptures but you want to know this jesus who can keep you in line who can make your life make sense if that's who you are just get up morning come on man i was close and in my right mind no he didn't let me sleep too late i'm glad he me up this morning whoever you are wherever you've been whatever you've done god loves you and he wants you to be saved come on say that with us the lord is blessing me hallelujah right now hallelujah [Applause] me [Music] us softly think about this a minute [Music] i mentioned it was september 11th on yesterday and they were memorializing and remembering 20 years ago i know exactly where i was 20 years ago when the second tower went into the world trade center victoria was in the third grade at second baptist i was on the corner of fountain view and westheimer when i heard it on the radio i know the exact spot i can drive to it right now where i was when that second plane went into the south tower it took 10 years to build those twin towers over 100 stories it took 10 years right foundation right kind of steel it took 10 years to build those twin towers and they came down in 10 minutes it took 10 years to build and they came down in 10 minutes when i thought about that yesterday you may build great cathedrals large or small you may build skyscrapers grand and tall you may conquer all the failures of the past but only what you do for christ is going to last it does not matter that you are in who's who it does not matter that they know your name in social and society circles in houston what does it matter that you're a delta or an aka when you stand before god he won't ask you did you go to prayer review or grambling did you drive a buick or a mercedes benz god will not want to know did you sleep on the street or did you live in river roads only what you do for christ is going to last because your works are going to be tried the scripture says and they will be tried by the fire of god's judgment and if they are made of wood or hay or stubble they will be consumed in the flames but if your works are made of gold gold does not burn it is only refined and purified if you don't know jesus christ this morning you are lost and on your way to hell that's bad news but the good news is you don't have to go to hell because god has already provided a way for us to have access to the tree of life jesus christ is alive seated at the right hand of god and he ever lives to make intercession for us the choir is going to sing it for us one more time i've given you a minute or so to make up your mind just get up from your seat if somebody's in your way ask them to be excused and come on right now because tomorrow the next five minutes could be everlasting too late do it now don't don't don't be in church and go to hell don't hear the gospel and go to hell do it now right now hallelujah [Applause] me divine invitation has been extended to you as always come now young the youth of our church will come now with a special presentation for grandparents day that she wrote herself [Music] come on girl so good morning my name is kerrigan gattson and i'm here to perform an original poem grandparents day is a day for celebrating the connection between generations the connections are as strong as a screen time between an iphone and a teenager's face a connection that is special and unique and can never be replaced grandparents are the thick roots of our families that are planted deeply and weave in out and through each other creating a strong solid foundation that no hurricane tornado or earthquake can blow shake or uproot grandparents are the ones who understand our actions when no one else can each strand of gray hair doesn't represent the discoloration over time they have lived but a crown of wisdom perseverance and a special love that only grandparents can give grandparents are patient and proud and make sure all their grandchildren always stay humble they stay on us tell us to lift our heads keep our back straight and to speak up when we mumble grandparents have wisdom like the extraordinary owl they always give the best advice they don't hold their tongue especially grandma that phenomenal woman has spies today we honor our grandparents god has placed them there for us from the very start our ancestors speak to them and through them i know they have our best interests at heart could all the grandparents please stand [Music] let's celebrate them thank you [Music] thank you so much sister gaston i'm looking forward to her being the poet laureate of the united states of america standing at the presidential inauguration reading her own work thank you thank you that was very well written and well-read thank you so so much for that we really do appreciate your words again reverend sharpton has blessed us this year we have been tremendously blessed by the word of god god bless you reverend thank you so much for that word again i want to say that some members of the texas delegation are here who went to washington dc to get away from that man over there in austin but they are here this morning a few of them are here this morning would you stand we want to acknowledge your presence when you want to know how glad we are that you are here thank you so much for your presence all right uh and the reason we put
